Abstract

Defamation on social media, especially via the Facebook platform, has become an increasingly disturbing issue in society. This research aims to understand theeffectiveness of criminal law enforcement under the Information and Electronic Transactions Law (UU ITE) in cases of defamation on Facebook. Mixedqualitative and quantitative research methods were used, including literature studies, interviews, social media content analysis, surveys, and statistical analysis. The research results show that the phenomenon of defamation on Facebook faces challenges in law enforcement, including difficulties in identifying perpetrators, the length of the legal process, and public distrust of the effectiveness of law enforcement. Recommendations are given to increase cooperation between the police, legal institutions and social media platforms, as well as to increase public education about the dangers of defamation. In conclusion, criminallaw enforcement against defamation on Facebook requires a holistic approach involving various parties and ongoing efforts to create a safer and more ethicaldigital environment. Even though the Information and Electronic Transactions Law (UU ITE) provides a clear legal basis, law enforcement still faces variouschallenges, including difficulties in identifying perpetrators, the length of the legal process, and low public trust in the effectiveness of law enforcement. The proposed recommendations include increasing cooperation between the police, legal institutions and social media platforms, as well as intensifying publiceducation about the dangers of defamation. These steps are important for creating a safer and more ethical digital environment for all users. By understanding the challenges faced and through joint efforts across sectors, it is hoped that criminal law enforcement against defamation on Facebook and social media can beimproved, so that individual human rights can be better protected and the integrity of the digital environment can be maintained.

Abstract

Technological developments have opened up the opportunity for every mixed culture, with negative and positive effects. One negative impact is that students tend to imitate foreign cultures and forget their culture's local wisdom values. Thus, the study intended to see the concept of integrating character education in siri™ na pacce™s local wisdom through sociology. This type of research is a library study that uses books and other literature as primary objects. Studies show how integrating siri™ na pacce™s value in sociology can be done through four strategies. First, exemplary strategy. The teacher, as the subject, gives an example of any action, behavior, or words that indicate siri™ na pacce's attitude. The second strategy is to intervene by integrating values-based character education siri™ na pacce in sociological studies. The third strategy is consistent breeding. After an exemplary and intervention strategy has been implemented, a strategy is needed to keep what has been implanted into a habit or habit. The fourth strategy is reinforcement. The strategy is basically done along with the breeding strategy. This integration can be an attempt to introduce and pass on local culture to the student, as well as good character creation.

Abstract

The existence of the Multicultural class is an attraction, because not all schools dare to carry out the Multicultural class program in overcoming social inequalities that often occur. Cultural conflicts and violence in Papua, the assessment of the term dividing individuals through religion, riots, and intolerance are not new discourses that appear in the highlights of the mass media. The multicultural class bridges teaching related to these issues to the nation's children so as not to repeat the same case, realizes the value of Pancasila that we are one, and also interprets the country's motto, namely Bhineka Tunggal Ika. Religion is not necessarily taught to individuals for free, various media and methods are carried out for this teaching collaboration. It is not a taboo subject, Islam teaches the diversity of multicultural education implicitly in the Qur'anic text. So it is not impossible, religion and multicultural education become a harmonious blend in learning. In a society, religion is one of the factors that support life, especially in spiritual life. Therefore, the researcher considers it necessary to do community service based on these social phenomena, with the aim of strengthening the cultivation of religious and social character values for the community by contamination of the existence of various cultures of immigrants who settled with the intention of school students from outside the area.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has globally affected all people™s life aspects in every country in the world, including the Southeast Asian region. Not all countries can have stable domestic capabilities and conditions to face COVID-19 as happened in Myanmar. Their domestic situation has been negatively impacted by conflicts between the community and the government. The people of Myanmar are exacerbated by the coup by the Myanmar military against the legitimate government. This has caused the political and security situation in Myanmar to become chaotic because Myanmar people who oppose the military junta stage demonstrations that triggered the military junta to be repressive by arresting the protesters including health workers, teachers, and others. This results in less optimal handling of the COVID-19 pandemic and causes the spread of COVID-19 is getting worse and out of control. Therefore, ASEAN which is a regional organization in South East Asia has decided to take strategic steps to make the spread of the virus remain under control in the region, especially Myanmar. This article describes ASEAN's approach to Myanmar in tackling COVID-19 and providing humanitarian assistance to the Myanmar people who are struggling during an unstable situation. This research uses a comprehensive security concept framework with a qualitative approach. The data are collected using literature studies consisting of books, journal articles, official ASEAN and government websites, and online news sites. The results show that ASEAN has taken an approach with its typical characteristics to cope with COVID-19 amid pressure and criticism from state and non-state actors toward Myanmar.
