Abstract

AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui keefektivan pembelajaran dengan metode Pendidi-kan Matematika Realistik Indonesia (PMRI) berbantuan alat peraga terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah serupa PISA siswa pada materi segiempat. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 3 Ungaran tahun pelajaran 2012/2013. Pemilihan sampel dengan cara random sampling, diperoleh siswa kelas VII-I dan siswa kelas VII-J se-bagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Kelas eksperimen diajar dengan metode PMRI berbantuan alat peraga, sedangkan kelas kontrol diajar dengan metode ekspositori. Data di-peroleh dengan metode observasi untuk mengamati aktivitas belajar guru dan metode tes untuk menentukan hasil belajar siswa yang kemudian dianalisis dengan uji ketuntasan dan uji perbedaan rata-rata: uji satu pihak (pihak kanan). Hasil penelitian adalah (1) hasil be-lajar siswa kelas eksperimen belum mencapai kriteria ketuntasan klasikal, (2) rata-rata ke-mampuan pemecahan masalah serupa PISA kelas eksperimen lebih baik dari kelas kontrol, dan (3) skor rata-rata aktivitas guru kelas ekperimen dan kelas kontrol memiliki kategori baik. Kata kunci:       Kualitas Pembelajaran; PISA; PMRI.  AbstractThe purpose of this research was to determine the effectiveness of learning by Teams Pendidikan Matematika Realistik Indonesia (PMRI) assisted on figure tools to the problem solving skills PISA student on quadrilateral material. The population in this study is student of VIIth grade class of 3 Ungaran junior high school on period 2012/2013. The selection of the sample is done by random sampling which is gotten students class VII-I and students class VII-J as the experimental class and the controlling class. Experimental class was taught by PMRI assisted on figure tools, while the controlling class was taught with the expository method. Data obtained by the observation method to observe the activities of teacher learning and test methods for determining student learning achievement are then analyzed to the thoroughness test and the average difference test: one side test (right side). The results of this research are (1) The students achievement of experimental class not yet achieved the minimum completeness criteria, (2) the average the problem solving skills PISA of experimental class learning better than controlling class, and (3) score average of teacher activity of experimental class and controlling class have a good category.  Keywords:          PISA; PMRI; Quality of teaching.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mengetahui apakah dengan menggunakan metode mathmagic dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas V SDN No.027688 Binjai T.A 2010/2011 yang barjumlah 35 orang siswa. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini dilaksanakan secara kolaborasi dengan guru kelas dalam dua siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data: observasi, tes, catatan lapangan dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data deskriptif. Hasil penelitian mengalami perubahan dilihat dari presentasi jumlah nilai dan rata-rata kelas. Sebelum dilakukan tindakan hanya 5 orang  siswa (1,25 %) yang  memperoleh hasil yang baik dengan nilai antara 2,80-3,39.  Pada siklus I ada 2 orang siswa (5%) memperoleh hasil yang sangat baik dengan nilai antara 3,40 - 4,00, dan 6 orang siswa (15%) memperoleh hasil yang baik dengan nilai antara 2,80 – 3,39. Dengan kata lain meningkat menjadi 20%. Pada siklus II ada 5orang siswa (12,5%) memperoleh hasil yang sangat baik dengan nilai antara 3,40-4,00, dan 27 orang siswa (67,5 %) mengalami perubahan yang memperoleh hasil yang baik dengan nilai antara 2,80-3,39.Berarti telah terjadi peningkatan menjadi 80%.This research aims to to know whether using mathmagic method can improve the motivation of students in grade 5 at SDN No.027688 Binjai T.A 2010/2011 that barjumlah 35 students. This Class Action research carried out in collaboration with the class teacher in two cycles of. Data collection techniques: observation, tests, note field and documentation. Descriptive data analysis techniques. The results of research experience changes seen from the presentation number of values and the average class. Prior to the action only 5 students (1.25%) who get good results with a value between 2,80-3,39. At cycle I no 2 the students (5%) get very good results with a value between 3.40 - 4.00, and 6 students (15%) get good results with a value between 2.80 - 3,39. In other words rose to 20%. At cycle II is 5students (12.5%) get very good results with a value between 3,40-4,00, and 27 students (67.5%) experience changes that get good results with a value between 2,80-3,39.means there has been increased to 80%.

Abstract

Slow learners have lower grasping power, but that doesn't mean they don't have the same learning opportunities as children in their age group. This qualitative research aims to identify difficulties, design and apply scaffolding to slow learners in integers. The subject is slow learner student who is in class VIII Junior High School. Data collection techniques in this study are test, interview and documentation. The results showed that the subject inability to interpret the basic concepts of integers, jump count, compare integers, addition and subtraction on integers. Scaffolding that has been successfully used to help that difficulties is scaffolding for effective handling, goal-oriented and manipulative media. The assistance provided must be contextual, concrete, logical and not in the form of instructions with long sentences. Pictures, videos, representative activities and manipulative media that can be used repeatedly by the subject also succeeded in helping him understand the concept of integers.Anak slow learner memiliki daya tangkap lebih lambat, namun bukan berarti mereka tidak memiliki kesempatan belajar yang sama seperti anak-anak pada kelompok usianya. Penelitian kualitatif ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kesulitan, merancang dan menerapkan scaffolding terhadap slow learner pada bilangan bulat. Subjek adalah siswa ABK slow learner yang berada di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Salatiga. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik tes, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa subjek mengalami  ketidakmampuan memaknai   konsep dasar bilangan bulat negatif, menentukan konsep hitung loncat, membandingkan bilangan bulat, melakukan operasi penjumlahan dan pengurangan bilangan bulat. Scaffolding yang berhasil membantu kesulitan ABK adalah scaffolding penanganan secara efektif, berorientasi pada tujuan serta media manipulatif. Bantuan yang diberikan harus bersifat kontekstual, konkret, logis dan tidak berupa instruksi dengan kalimat yang panjang. Gambar, video, aktivitas representatif serta media manipulative yang dapat digunakan berulang oleh subjek juga berhasil membantunya dalam memahami konsep bilangan bulat.

Abstract

The aims of this study are (1) to describe the critical thinking processes of truth-seekers students in solving math problems with contradiction information based on the theory of mental mechanisms and structures, and (2) to find valid and effective learning models to improve the critical thinking processes of truth-seekers students. The subjects of this study were truth-seekers at SMPN 7 Jember. Data collection methods in this study were tests, observations, and interviews. The results of the research are that students who do truth-seeking in this study build mental mechanisms consisting of interiorization, coordination, and encapsulation and construct all mental structures, namely actions, processes, objects, and schemas. So, it can be concluded that the mental mechanism process of truth-seekers students in this study is not complete even though the mental structures have all been constructed in their minds. The model found to improve the critical thinking process based on the research findings is the infusion learning model by focusing on the habit of solving mathematical problems with contradiction information.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) mendeskripsikan proses berpikir kritis siswa truth-seekers dalam menyelesaikan soal matematika dengan informasi yang kontradiksi berdasarkan teori mekanisme dan struktur mental, dan (2) menemukan model pembelajaran yang valid dan efektif untuk meningkatkan proses berpikir kritis siswa yang truth-seekers. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa yang truth-seekers di SMPN 7 Jember. Metode pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah tes, observasi, dan wawancara. Hasil dari penelitian yaitu siswa yang melakukan truth-seeking dalam penelitian ini membangun mekanisme mental yang terdiri dari interiorisasi, koordinasi, dan enkapsulasi serta mengkonstruk seluruh struktur mental yaitu aksi, proses, objek, dan skema. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa proses mekanisme mental siswa truth-seekers dalam penelitian ini tidak lengkap walaupun struktur mentalnya telah dikonstruk semua dalam pikirannya. Model yang ditemukan untuk meningkatkan proses berpikir kritis berdasarkan temuan penelitian adalah model pembelajaran infusi dengan memfokuskan pada pembiasaan pemecahan masalah matematika dengan informasi yang kontadiksi.

Abstract

The development of online learning is increasingly rapid, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic which demands an innovation in the education system. However, this development is not accompanied by the availability of innovative learning media. Therefore, this study aims to develop an elementary linear algebra learning video media in Islamic context. This research type is research and development using a 4D development model consisting of 4 stages, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. The subjects of this research trial were students of the Department of Mathematics Education, class of 2020 B, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training at UIN Alauddin Makassar. The research data were obtained using questionnaires, observations, and learning outcomes tests. The data is processed through the analysis of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The results showed that the video media that had been developed had met the criteria of being valid, practical, and effective. Thus, this learning video media can be a solution to better support the implementation of online learning.Perkembangan pembelajaran daring semakin pesat khususnya di masa Pandemi Covid-19 yang menuntut adanya inovasi sistem pendidikan. Namun, perkembangan ini tidak diiringi dengan ketersediaan media pembelajaran yang inovatif. Karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media video pembelajaran aljabar linear elementer dalam konteks Islam. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (research and development) dengan menggunakan model pengembangan 4D yang terdiri dari 4 tahapan yaitu define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Subjek uji coba penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan Matematika, angkatan 2020 kelas B, Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Alauddin Makassar. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan menggunakan angket, observasi, dan tes hasil belajar. Data diolah melalui analisis kevalidan, kepraktsian, dan keefektifan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media video pembelajaran aljabar linear elementer dalam konteks Islam yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif. Dengan demikian, media video pembelajaran ini dapat menjadi solusi untuk mendukung terlaksananya pembelajaran daring dengan lebih baik.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve the ability of creative thinking, to see the picture of self-regulated learning, and to analyze the effect of creative thinking ability on self-regulated learning through the implementation of the Scientific approach. This research method is a mixed method of insertion type. The research instrument used was a creative thinking ability test, observation, self-regulated learning scale, and interviews. The population in this study were students in a private high school in Bandung with a sample of 2 classes. The increase in creative thinking skills was analyzed by normalized gain scores, the description of self-regulated learning was analyzed by Post Hoc Tests, while the effect of creative thinking skills on self-regulated learning was used regression analysis. The results showed that the increase in the creative thinking ability of students who received the Scientific approach was better than the students who received conventional learning, there was no difference in the self-regulated learning of students who received learning using the Scientific approach and conventional models, and there was no difference the effect of creative thinking ability on self-regulated learning in learning with scientific approaches, and conventional ones.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berfikir kreatif, melihat gambaran kemandirian belajar, dan menganalisis pengaruh kemampuan berfikir kreatif terhadap kemandirian belajar melalui implementasi pendekatan scientific. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode campuran tipe penyisipan. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif, observasi, skala kemandirian belajar, dan wawancara. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik di salah satu SMA swasta Bandung dengan sampel sebanyak 2 kelas. Peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif dianalisis dengan skor gain ternormalisasi, gambaran kemandirian belajar dianalisis dengan Tes Post Hoc, sedangkan pengaruh kemampuan berpikir kreatif terhadap kemandirian belajar digunakan analisis regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan berfikir kreatif peserta didik yang memperoleh pendekatan Scientific lebih baik daripada peserta didik yang memperoleh pembelajaran konvensional, tidak terdapat perbedaan kemandirian belajar peserta didik yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan pendekatan Scientific maupun konvensional, serta tidak terdapat pengaruh kemampuan berfikir kreatif terhadap kemandirian belajar pada pembelajaran dengan pendekatan Scientific, maupun konvensional.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the fraction addition difficulties of fourth-grade students at SDN Candinegoro No. 484. This study utilizes a qualitative approach and case study method. This study's data collection methods included tests and interviews. Data analysis consists of data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of the analysis indicate that students have difficulty learning fraction addition. Students' difficulties with applying concepts, applying principles, and solving verbal problems. Through this study, it is anticipated that teachers will be able to identify the types of difficulties encountered by students when learning fraction addition. Hence, teachers can overcome the errors made by students when working on fraction addition problems. Moreover, teachers can use these guidelines when creating lesson plans to anticipate that there will be no fraction-related difficulties.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesulitan penjumlahan pecahan siswa kelas IV SDN Candinegoro No. 484. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode studi kasus. Metode pengumpulan data penelitian ini meliputi tes dan wawancara. Analisis data terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam mempelajari penjumlahan pecahan. Kesulitan yang dialami siswa pada saat menggunakan konsep, prinsip, dan menyelesaikan masalah verbal. Melalui penelitian ini diharapkan guru dapat mengidentifikasi jenis-jenis kesulitan yang dihadapi siswa ketika mempelajari penjumlahan pecahan. Dengan demikian, guru dapat mengatasi kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa saat mengerjakan soal penjumlahan pecahan. Selain itu, guru dapat menggunakan pedoman tersebut saat membuat rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran untuk mengantisipasi agar tidak ada kesulitan terkait pecahan.

Abstract

An innovative teaching material such as e-module were needed to assist students understanding the concept of mathematics. In this Research is develop an e-module using Realistic Mathematics Education approach in Linear Equation System Two Variables. Research method is using ADDIE model which consist of five stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The validators of this research were content and media experts, while the research subjects were students of 7th grades in Pleret Bantul Junior High School. The instruments used in data collection were interview and questionnaire. By the calculation results, the e-module was considered feasible by contents and media experts. From the validation of content expert get average of 3.56 with very good criteria, while from the media expert get 3.65 with very good criteria. The e-module was considered practical according to the students’ responses. In terms of practicality, average score of small class trial was 3.17 with good criteria, while average score of large class trial was 3.22 with good criteria. So, the average score based on content and media experts also student class trials get 3.40 with very good criteria. Therefore, smartphone-based e-module with realistic mathematics education approach on linear equation system with two variables material was feasible to use.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan e-modul dengan berbasis Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) pada Sistem Persamaan Linier Dua Variabel. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah model ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahap, yaitu Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Validator penelitian ini yaitu ahli materi dan media serta subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Pleret Bantul. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data penelitian berupa wawancara dan angket. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan, e-modul termasuk layak oleh ahli materi dan ahli media. Dari validasi ahli materi dan media mendapatkan kategori yang sama yaitu sangat baik dengan nilai rata-rata 3,56 dan 3,65. Berdasarkan uji kepada peserta didik e-modul termasuk praktis dengan kriteria baik pada uji coba kelas kecil dan besar dengan nilai 3,17 dan 3,22. Berdasarkan dari rata-rata gabungan ahli materi dan media serta uji coba peserta didik mencapai rata-rata skor 3,40 dengan kriteria sangat baik. Kesimpulannya e-modul berbasis smartphone dengan pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education pada materi sistem persamaan linear dua variabel layak digunakan.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the acceptance of one deaf student in the Department of Computer Science UNNES in the 2020/2021 academic year. Therefore, this research aims to provide the study with efforts to increase the absorption of deaf students in the inclusive class through the discovery of Assistive Technology. The method used in this research is Mixed Method with a qualitative and Research Development (RD) approach. Data collection includes class observations, interviews, triangulation of results, and stages of RD. Research activities include: (1) lecturer of mathematical courses made PPt files, filled in Lecturer's Voice, and filled in Sign Language. (2) Video tested in inclusive class. (3) Finalization of Assistive Technology Videos and the results were noted. Research Results: (1) multi-function video prototypes were obtained for deaf students in inclusive classes in mathematical courses. (2) There was an increase in the activity and absorption of students in the inclusive class. In conclusion, it is necessary to make assistive technology in the form of learning videos that contain sign language to increase the absorption of deaf students in the inclusive class in mathematical courses.Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi telah diterimanya satu mahasiswa Tunarungu pada Jurusan Ilmu Komputer UNNES pada tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Oleh karena itu tujuan penelitian ini adalah memberikan kajian upaya meningkatkan daya serap mahasiswa Tunarungu di kelas Insklusif melalui penemuan Teknologi Asistif. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode mixed method dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan Research Development (RD). Pengumpulan data meliputi; observasi kelas, wawancara, triangulasi hasil, dan tahapan RD. Kegiatan penelitian meliputi: (1) dosen pengampu mata kuliah matematis membuat file PPt, diisi suara dosen, dan diisi Bahasa Isyaratnya. (2) Video diujicobakan di kelas Inklusif. (3) Finalisasi video Teknologi Asistif dan dicatat hasilnya. Hasil penelitian: (1) Diperoleh Prototip video Multi-Fungsi untuk mahasiswa Tunarungu di kelas Inklusif pada mata kuliah matematis. Kesimpulannya: Untuk meningkatkan daya serap mahasiswa Tunarungu di kelas Insklusif pada mata kuliah matematis, perlu dibuat Teknologi Asistif berupa video pembelajaran yang berisi Bahasa Isyarat.

Abstract

This study aimed to implement a didactic situation design to overcome learning obstacles in the circumference and area of the circle. The method used is qualitative research with Didactical Design Research which goes through the last two stages, namely metapedadidactic analysis and retrospective analysis. The instrument used is a didactic situation design prepared by Rosita, Maharani, Tonah Munfi (2020) and interview guidelines. Based on the implementation results, the didactic situation that has been designed has not been able to overcome students' learning obstacles fully. In addition, a new learning obstacle appears in the concept of the circumference of a circle. Not all students can measure the length of the curvature of a circle because there are inaccurate measurement results. In this study, the didactic design was revised regarding the circumference and area of a circle based on metapedadidactic and retrospective analysis.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan rancangan situasi didaktis sebagai upaya mengatasi learning obstacle pada materi keliling dan luas lingkaran. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan Didactical Design Research yang melalui dua tahap terakhir yaitu analisis metapedadidaktik dan analisis retrospektif. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa rancangan situasi didaktis yang telah disusun oleh Rosita, Maharani, Tonah Munfi (2020) serta pedoman wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil implementasi, situasi didaktis yang telah dirancang belum sepenuhnya dapat mengatasi learning obstacle siswa. Selain itu, terdapat learning obstacle baru yang muncul pada konsep keliling lingkaran yaitu tidak semua siswa mampu mengukur panjang lengkungan lingkaran karena terdapat hasil pengukuran yang kurang akurat.Pada penelitian ini, dilakukan perbaikan kembali desain didaktis mengenai konsep keliling dan luas lingkaran yang disusun berdasarkan analisis metapedadidaktik dan retrospektif.
