Abstract

This study aims to determine how the effect application of discovery learning on students' critical thinking and how the influence of discovery learning on each indicator of critical thinking. This research is quasi-experiment with pretest-posttest control group design. This research was conducted at 3 SMA Pacitan District, there are SMANA Punung, SMAN B Pacitan, and SMAN C Ngadirojo. The population used in this study were all students of class X Science in 3 schools as research object. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out using test techniques. Data analysis technique in this study was carried out through Wilcoxon test while to find out how much students' critical thinking skills increased, N-gain calculations were carried out. The results showed that there were significant differences in influence of local potential-based discovery learning models on critical thinking aspects of interpretation indicators, analyzing and concluding students with Asymp scores. Sig. (2-tailed) < α value (0.000 < 0.05).ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh penerapan discovery learning terhadap bepikir kritis siswa serta bagaimana pengaruh discovery learning pada tiap indikator berpikir kritis. Penelitin ini merupakan quasi-experimen dengan desain penelitian pretest-posttest control group design. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di 3 SMAN Kabupaten Pacitan yaitu SMAN A Punung, SMAN B Pacitan, dan SMAN C Ngadirojo. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh peserta didik kelas X IPA di 3 sekolah yang menjadi objek penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu dilakukan menggunakan teknik tes. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan melalui uji Wilcoxon sedangkan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik dilakukan perhitungan N-gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan pengaruh yang signifikan antara model discovery learning berbasis potensi lokal terhadap aspek critical thinking pada indikator interpretasi, menganalisis dan menyimpulkan peserta didik dengan perolehan nilai Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) < nilai α (0,000 < 0,05).

Abstract

The aim of this research that was conducted in the Nglanggeran Ancient Volcano Area Yogyakarta was to determine the diversity and functional role of Coleoptera in the area. The research was conducted by survey, with observation method, in March-April 2021. Data were collected through purposive random sampling with Sorting, Yellow Pan Trap, and Hunting methods. The results of research at six stations indicated the presence of 30 individuals belonging to four families of Arthropoda order Coleoptera, namely Lilioceris lilii (Chrysomelida), Charidotella sexpunctata (Chrysomelidae), Lytta stygica (Meloidae), Anisodactylus nigerrimus (Carabaeidae), and Harmonia axyridis (Coccinellidae). Based on their functional roles, the Carabaeidae and Coccinellidae families that dominate this finding act as predators, while the Chrysomelidae and Meloidae families act as herbivores. The results of the analysis using PAST 4.07b software show that Coleoptera diversity in the area is included in the low diversity index category with a value of 0.773, a low species richness index with a value of 0.6213, and an evenly distributed abundance index with a value close to 1.ABSTRAK: Penelitian yang dilakukan di Kawasan Gunung Api Purba Nglanggeran Yogyakarta ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keanekaragaman dan peran fungsional Coleoptera di kawasan tersebut. Penelitian dilakukan secara survei, dengan metode observasi pada bulan Maret-April 2021. Data dikumpulkan melalui purposive random sampling dengan kombinasi metode Sorting, Yellow Pan Trap, dan Hunting. Hasil penelitian di enam stasiun  menunjukkan adanya 30 individu yang termasuk ke dalam empat famili Arthropoda ordo Coleoptera yaitu Lilioceris lilii (Chrysomelida), Charidotella sexpunctata (Chrysomelidae), Lytta stygica (Meloidae), Anisodactylus nigerrimus (Carabaeidae), dan Harmonia axyridis (Coccinellidae). Berdasar peran fungsionalnya, famili Carabaeidae dan Coccinellidae yang mendominasi temuan ini berperan sebagai predator, sedangkan famili Chrysomelidae dan Meloidae berperan sebagai herbivor. Hasil analisis menggunakan software PAST 4.07b menunjukkan bahwa keanekaragaman Coleoptera di kawasan tersebut termasuk ke dalam kategori indeks keanekaragaman rendah dengan nilai 0,773, indeks kekayaan jenis rendah dengan nilai 0,6213, dan indeks kelimpahan yang merata dengan nilai mendekati 1.

Abstract

The sigolo-golo area is a tourist area with waterfalls and rivers. It is located in a secondary forest far enough from settlements, so it has the potential to be a habitat for dragonfly diversity. This study aims to analyze the composition and diversity of dragonflies in the Sigolo-golo tourist area. Data collection was carried out using the Visual Encounter Survey (VES) method. The results of research conducted in three locations showed that there were 12 species from five families, namely Libellulidae, Euphaeidae, Calopterygidae, Chlorocyphidae, and Platicnemididae, with a total of 319 individuals. The species with the highest relative abundance value in this study was Pantala flavescens with a value of 77.40%. The value of species diversity at this location is H' = 0.984, which indicates that the diversity index value is low.ABSTRAK: Kawasan Sigolo-golo merupakan area wisata dengan terdapat air terjun dan sungai, yang terletak di dalam hutan sekunder yang cukup jauh dari pemukiman, sehingga berpotensi sebagai habitat bagi keanekaragaman capung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis komposisi, dan keanekaragaman capung di kawasan wisata Sigolo-golo. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Visual Encounter Survey (VES). Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan di tiga lokasi menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 12 spesies dari lima famili, yaitu Libellulidae, Euphaeidae, Calopterygidae, Chlorocyphidae, Platicnemididae dengan total 319 individu. Nilai kelimpahan relatif yang tinggi pada penelitian ini yaitu Pantala flavescens dengan nilai sebesar 77.40%. Nilai keanekaragaman jenis pada lokasi ini adalah H' = 0.984, yang menunjukkan bahwa nilai indeks keanekaragaman tergolong rendah.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe student learning activities, to analyze the differences in increasing scientific literacy in the aspect of student competency and to analyze the increase in conservation attitudes of class X students in plantae material which was taught using the Natural Surroundings (JAS) approach assisted by the QR Code. This research is a quantitative study with a sample of 31 students of class X MIPA 1 control class and 32 students of class X MIPA 3 experimental class. The research design used was the pretest posttest control group model. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, tests and questionnaires. The results showed that there was an increase in student learning activities at each meeting. There is a significant difference in increasing scientific literacy in the competency aspect in indicator 2 with a significance value of 0.000. And there is an increase in conservation attitudes after the learning treatment. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the application of learning using the Natural Surrounding Exploration (JAS) approach assisted by the QR Code can increase student learning activities, scientific literacy aspects of competence and students' conservation attitudes towards biology learning.ABSTRAK: Tujuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan aktivitas belajar siswa, untuk menganalisis perbedaan peningkatan literasi sains aspek kompetensi siswa dan untuk menganalisis peningkatan sikap konservasi siswa kelas X pada materi plantae yang diajarkan dengan pendekatan Jelajah Alam Sekitar (JAS) berbantuan QR Code. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan sampel sebanyak 31 siswa kelas X MIPA 1 kelas kontrol dan 32 siswa kelas X MIPA 3 kelas eksperimen. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu model pretest posttest control group. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, tes dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa pada setiap pertemuan. Terdapat perbedaan peningkatan literasi sains aspek kompetensi yang signifikan pada indikator 2 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000. Dan terdapat peningkatan sikap konservasi setelah perlakuan pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan pendekatan Jelajah Alam Sekitar (JAS) berbantuan QR Code dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa, literasi sains aspek kompetensi dan sikap konservasi siswa terhadap pembelajaran biologi.

Abstract

Islamic values in the subject matter of global warming symptoms for class XI at Senior high school. This research is a continuation of R&D research and development with the ADDIE model using 5 stages namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research instrument used was a practicality test questionnaire and student answer sheets on the e-module. there are 31 students and one educator have participated in this practicality test. The results of data analysis on the average value at the practicality test stage were carried out by educators and students. With the very practical category, the practicality analysis value of educators is 92.65 %, Very practical criteria for data analysis by students yielded 89.09 %. The results of the study concluded that the integrated e-module of Islamic values in the material on global warming symptoms that was developed was very practical to use in the learning process for class XI as an alternative teaching material in the learning processABSTRAK: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur tingkat praktikalitas e-modul terintegrasi nilai-nilai islam pada materi gejala pemanasan global untuk kelas XI Sekolah Menegah Atas. Penelitian ini merupakan lanjutan penelitian dan pengembangan R&D dengan model ADDIE menggunakan 5 tahapan yaitu Analisis, Desain, Pengembangan, Implementasi, dan Evaluasi. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa angket uji praktikalitas dan lembar jawaban peserta didik pada e-modul. terdapat 31 peserta didik dan satu pendidik telah berpartisipasi dalam pengujian kepraktisan ini. Hasil analisis data rata-rata nilai pada tahap uji praktikalitas dilakukan oleh pendidik dan peserta didik. Dengan katerogi sangat praktis diperoleh nilai analisis kepraktisan pendidik sebesar 92,65%, Kriteria sangat praktis analisis data oleh peserta didik menghasilkan sebesar 89,09%,. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa e-modul terintegrasi nilai-nilai islam pada materi gejala pemanasan global yang dikembangkan sangat praktis digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran kelas XI sebagai bahan ajar alternative dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the quality and feasibility of comics as a learning medium using research and development methods with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The research instruments included validation questionnaires measuring students' and teachers' interest in the developed product. The product was validated by three experts: a material expert with a score of 94%, a media expert with 83%, and a religious expert with 95%. All three validation results fall under the "very feasible" category. Based on the teacher assessment response, the product scored 88%, which is categorized as "very practical." Similarly, the student response scored 85%, which was also categorized as "very practical." These results indicate that the product is feasible and practical for teachers in learning. The advantages of the developed media include its portability for learning anywhere, the presentation of material with varied images, the inclusion of Qur'anic verses in each study section, and the integration of learning videos.ABSTRAK : Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui kualitas komik dan kelayakan komik sebagai media pembelajaran menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementasion and Evaluation). Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar angket validasi dan angket respon kemenarikan siswa dan guru terhadap produk. Produk ini divalidasi oleh tiga ahli yaitu ahli materi dengan perolehan persentase sebesar 94%, ahli media sebesar 83% dan ahli agama sebesat 95%. Ketiga hasil validasi tersebut masuk pada kriteria ’sangat layak’. Berdasarkan hasil respon penilaian guru adalah 88% yang juga termasuk dalam kategori ’sangat praktis’. Sedangkan hasil respon siswa menunjukkan nilai sebesar 85% dengan kriteria ’sangat praktis’. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa produk layak dan praktis sehingga dapat digunakan oleh guru untuk pembelajaran. Adapun keunggulan media yang dikembangkan yaitu komik bisa digunakan dimana saja untuk proses pembelajaran, materi yang disajikan dengan gambar bervariasi, adanya ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an disetiap kajian materi dan dilengkapi dengan video pembelajaran.

Abstract

Contextual learning, which integrates learning materials with the students' real environment, can make learning more meaningful for the students. This research aims to assess the feasibility of the Animal Website development product as a learning media. The research adopts the Research and Development (R&D) methodology with the 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). However, the developed product only reached the Develop stage. The study was conducted at Senior High School with students from the 11th and 12th grade of the Science Program (MIPA) as the research subjects. Data collection techniques involved interviews and questionnaires, while data analysis employed qualitative and quantitative analysis methods. The validation results the Animal Website learning media, which incorporates animal-related materials based on the local potential of Bangka Island, is of very good quality and highly suitable for use in the learning process.ABSTRAK: Konsep pembelajaran kontekstual yang mengintegrasikan materi pembelajaran dengan lingkungan nyata peserta didik dapat menjadikan pembelajaran peserta didik jadi lebih bermakna. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji kelayakan produk pengembangan Animal Website sebagai media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan 4D (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. Akan tetapi, produk yang dikembangkan hanya sampai pada tahap Develop. Penelitian dilakukan di MAN (Madrasah aliyah Negeri) dengan subjek penelitian peserta didik kelas XI dan XII MIPA. Teknik pengambilan data berdasarkan wawancara dan angket. Sedangkan, teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil validasi Animal Website materi animalia berbasis potensi lokal Pulau Bangka memiliki kualitas sangat layak untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

One aspect that also influences learning is information literacy, which is one of the knowledge and skills of the 21st century. Based on the results of the needs analysis of XI MIPA students at Senor High School, the average score for information literacy skills only reached 33.74%. Apart from that, the implementation of information literacy is only limited to finding and using information obtained on the internet to complete assignments given by the teacher. This research aims to develop a web-based learning media integrated 3D models to train the information literacy skills called Biology Insight. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D), through the ADDIE development model. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. The research results show that the Biology Insight web is declared very valid and suitable for use in the learning process of class XI MIPA students. This is proven by the validation results of media experts (88%) and material experts (97.5%), readability vi tests through Biology teacher responses (98.8%) and student responses on a small scale (87%).ABSTRAK: Salah satu aspek yang turut memengaruhi pembelajaran yaitu literasi informasi yang merupakan salah satu pengetahuan dan keterampilan abad ke-21. Berdasarkan hasil analisis kebutuhan terhadap siswa XI MIPA Sekolah Menegah Atas, nilai rata-rata keterampilan literasi informasi hanya mencapai 33,74%. Selain itu, implementasi literasi informasi hanya sebatas menemukan dan menggunakan informasi yang didapatkan diinternet. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis web terintegrasi model 3D untuk melatih kemampuan literasi informasi yang dinamakan Biology Insight. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Research and Development (R&D), melalui model pengembangan ADDIE. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa web Biology Insight dinyatakan sangat valid dan layak untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran siswa kelas XI MIPA. Hal ini dibuktikan dari hasil validasi ahli media (88%) dan ahli materi (97,5%), uji vi keterbacaan melalui respon guru Biologi (98,8%) dan respon siswa dalam skala kecil (87%).

Abstract

The research of the study was to determine the feasibility of Google Site learning media integrated Islamic values by utilizing advances in technology and student perceptions. The type of research is R&D using the ADDIE model design. The subjects of this study were researchers, material, religious, and media experts, as well as 61 seventh-grade students of junior high school. The data collection technique is to use the interview method, observation and validation sheet, and response questionnaire. Data analysis is quantitative according to the ADDIE model development procedure. The results showed that the feasibility of the product from material expert validation obtained a score of 97%, religious expert validation 100%, media expert validation with a score of 96%, and educator practicality obtained 91% and 95% learner response. Based on the results obtained, the interactive learning media of the integrated solar system of Islamic values is feasible and practical to be used to help learn and add insight into the relationship of material with Islamic values at junior high school.ABSTRAK: Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui kelayakan media pembelajaran google site diintegrasikan nilai-nilai islam dengan memanfaatkan kemajuan teknolog dan persepsi peserta didik. Jenis penelitian adalah R&D dengan menggunakan desain model ADDIE. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu peneliti, ahli materi, agama dan media, serta 61 peserta didik kelas VII sekolah menengah pertama. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah dengan menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi dan lembar validasi serta angket persepsi. Analisis data yaitu menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif sesuai prosedur pengembangan model ADDIE. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelayakan produk dari validasi ahli materi memperoleh skor 97%, validasi ahli agama 100%, validasi ahli media dengan skor 96%, prktikalitas pendidik memperoleh 91% dan respon perserta didik 95%. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh maka media pembelajaran interaktif sistem tata surya terintegrasi nilai-nilai islam layak dan praktis digunakan untuk membantu belajar dan menambah wawasan keterkaitan materi dengan nilai-nilai islam di sekolah menengah pertama.

Abstract

Worksheets can be used as a solution to the success of the practicum process. This study aimed to analyze students' creative thinking skills through worksheets of microbial growth rates on nata de whey kefir. The method used in this research was a Pre-Experimental Design with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population of this research was the sixth-semester Biology Education Study Program students. The research sample consisted of a class of 21 students selected using a purposive sampling technique. The research instrument consisted of description questions containing indicators of creative thinking. The results of the research data analysis obtained an average N-gain for each indicator of creative thinking skills of 0.461, which was included in the "medium" criteria. Test the data hypothesis using the T-paired test obtained a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. Therefore, H0 was rejected, and H1 was accepted. Based on the research results obtained, data showed that there was an increase in students' creative thinking skills through worksheets on the rate of microbial growth in nata de whey kefir.ABSTRAK: Lembar kerja dapat digunakan sebagai solusi dalam keberhasilan proses praktikum. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keterampilan berpikir kreatif mahasiswa melalui lembar laju pertumbuhan mikroba pada nata de whey kefir. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Pre-Experimental Design dengan desain penelitian one-group pretest-posttest design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester VI Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi. Sampel penelitian menggunakan satu kelas yang berjumlah 21 mahasiswa dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari soal uraian yang memuat indikator berpikir kreatif. Hasil analisis data penelitian diperoleh rata-rata N-gain dari setiap indikator keterampilan berpikir kreatif sebesar 0,461 termasuk pada kriteria “sedang”. Data uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan Uji T-paired diperoleh nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima.  Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh data bahwa terdapat peningkatan keterampilan berpokir kreatif mahasiswa melalui lembar kerja laju pertumbuhan mikroba pada nata de whey kefir.
