Abstract

Human resources play a crucial role in a company, enabling it to grow effectively and operate as expected. This can be achieved through a competent workforce, optimal employee performance, and a supportive work environment characterized by strong work discipline. This study aims to identify the impact of work discipline and the work environment on employee performance in the diaphragm department at PT XYZ. The sample used was a saturated sample, where the entire employee population 41 people was included. The data analysis method employed was multiple linear regression, and data collection was conducted via a questionnaire. Partially, work discipline has a significant positive effect on employee performance, and partially, employee performance is also positively and significantly influenced by the work environment. The F-test yielded a p-value of 0.000, indicating that work discipline and the work environment together have a significant positive effect on employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of green image on green beauty loyalty with green satisfaction as a mediating variable and green functional benefit as a moderating variable among Sensatia Botanicals consumers in Bali. This research employs a quantitative approach with an associative–causal design. Data were collected through a questionnaire distributed to 120 respondents selected using a purposive sampling technique. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM–PLS). The results reveal that green image does not have a direct effect on green beauty loyalty but has a positive and significant effect on green satisfaction. Furthermore, green satisfaction significantly influences green beauty loyalty. The mediation test indicates that green image affects green beauty loyalty indirectly through green satisfaction, indicating a full mediation relationship. Meanwhile, green functional benefit does not moderate the relationship between green image and green beauty loyalty. These findings highlight that green satisfaction serves as a key factor in building consumer loyalty toward green products, while functional benefits are not yet a major driver of loyalty formation.

Abstract

The development of e-commerce in Indonesia provides convenience while presenting challenges for consumers in regions with limited logistics infrastructure, including Sikka Regency, East Nusa Tenggara, where high shipping costs and restricted product access persist. This condition encourages the emergence of alternative services such as personal shopping assistance (jastip), including AleXo Jastip, which facilitates item consolidation from Surabaya to Maumere. This study aims to identify and understand the factors influencing consumers’ decisions to choose AleXo Jastip amid the availability of similar services. A qualitative phenomenological approach was employed, involving six purposively selected informants with varying backgrounds, professions, and online shopping experiences. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and analyzed using Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA). The findings reveal that consumer decisions are shaped by structural–economic factors (cost efficiency and limited local market availability), relational–social factors (trust, social ties, and concern for item safety), and emotional–experiential factors (professionalism, comfort, and satisfaction). AleXo Jastip is perceived as a service partner that offers economic value, security, and social connectedness. The study concludes that strengthening trust-building mechanisms, service interaction quality, and consistency is essential. Recommendations include developing a more structured ordering system, enhancing service transparency, and exploring loyalty strategies to improve competitiveness in regions with logistical constraints.

Abstract

The background of this research stems from the phenomenon of declining employee productivity, which is reflected through an increase in attendance tardiness, decreased work enthusiasm, and a lack of initiative among employees in completing tasks. In addition, there are indications of weak implementation of organizational culture, low work discipline, and suboptimal job satisfaction levels. This study is expected to provide empirical contributions to understanding internal factors that influence employee productivity within government institutions, particularly in the Dinas Perikanan dan Ketahanan Pangan Kota Denpasar. The population in this study consists of 35 employees, who are staff members of Dinas Perikanan Kota Denpasar. The sampling technique used is a saturated sample, resulting in a total of 35 respondents. The research method applied is quantitative, with data analysis techniques including validity testing, reliability testing, non-parametric testing using Spearman’s Rho, and ordinal regression analysis using SPSS version 29. The results of the study show that organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on employee productivity at Dinas Perikanan dan Ketahanan Pangan Kota Denpasar. Work discipline also has a positive and significant effect on employee productivity, and job satisfaction influences employee productivity at Dinas Perikanan Kota Denpasar. The suggestions provided for future research include maintaining the implementation of positive organizational culture values, improving a consistent and fair work discipline system, paying attention to factors that can enhance job satisfaction, and expanding the scope of research by adding other variables that may influence employee productivity.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of empowerment, ease of licensing, business innovation, and government support on the competitiveness of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in South Bolaang Mongondow Regency. The research employs a quantitative explanatory design supported by qualitative data obtained through interviews and observations. Primary data were collected using a Likert 1–5 scale questionnaire from 100 MSME actors in the trade, services, culinary, and household industry sectors, selected through non-probability sampling. Multiple linear regression analysis was conducted after fulfilling validity, reliability, and classical assumption tests. The simultaneous test indicates that the four variables significantly affect MSME competitiveness (F=13.559; p<0.001), with an Adjusted R²=0.337. Partially, empowerment, ease of licensing, business innovation, and government support each have a positive and significant effect on MSME competitiveness (p<0.05), with empowerment showing the largest contribution. The findings suggest that strengthening MSME competitiveness cannot rely on a single intervention but requires an orchestrated policy approach that integrates capacity building of business actors, inclusive licensing services, sustainable innovation development, and government support grounded in a measurable market ecosystem. This study contributes theoretically by integrating internal and external factors within a single empirical framework of MSME competitiveness, while providing policy input for local governments to strengthen the sustainability of local MSMEs.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of financial literacy and digital financial inclusion on the financial performance of MSMEs in Denpasar City, considering the mediating role of digital financial inclusion. This quantitative research employed a cross-sectional approach using purposive sampling of 150 MSME owners across four sub-districts in Denpasar City. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS 3.0. Financial literacy significantly influences financial performance (β = 0.326, t = 4.127, p < 0.001). Digital financial inclusion significantly affects financial performance (β = 0.418, t = 5.293, p < 0.001). Digital financial inclusion partially mediates the relationship between financial literacy and financial performance (indirect effect = 0.218, p < 0.001, VAF = 40.1%). Significant differences in financial performance were found based on business sector (p = 0.024), but not by gender, age, or education level. Simultaneous improvement of financial literacy and adoption of digital financial technology can enhance MSME financial performance in Denpasar City. The research model explains 58.3% of the variation in MSME financial performance).

Abstract

Integrity challenges in academic and professional settings require universities to develop graduates who are not only competent but also ethically grounded as future workers. This study examines the effects of green psychological climate and student engagement on students’ ethical behavior. A quantitative survey design was employed using a five-point Likert questionnaire for the independent variables, while ethical behavior was measured dichotomously. Respondents were active undergraduate students (minimum fourth semester) selected through purposive sampling, totaling 384 participants. Data were analyzed using binary logistic regression, including model fit assessment, simultaneous and partial tests, and odds ratio interpretation. The results indicate that the model is adequate and that green psychological climate and student engagement significantly influence students’ ethical behavior both jointly and individually; student engagement shows a more dominant likelihood effect than green psychological climate. These findings highlight that students’ ethical behavior is shaped by the interaction between an institutional climate that consistently reinforces ethics and sustainability values and students’ active psychological involvement in learning. The study suggests strengthening campus policies on integrity and sustainability and implementing learning strategies that enhance engagement to support more sustainable prevention of unethical behavior.
