Abstract

Abstract: The main problem of this research is the low of learning outcomes (achievements) of fourth grade students of SD Negeri 164 Pekanbaru in social studies subjects (IPS). The purpose of this research was to improve the learning outcomes (achievements) of students in the learning of IPS by using talking stick cooperative learning model. The type of this research is classroom action research (CAR) with two cycles and through four stages that planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The analysis of the data is done by qualitative and quantitative methods. The results of this research showed that the application of the talking stick cooperative learning model has been able to improve IPS learning outcomes (achievements) of fourth grade students of SD Negeri 164 Pekanbaru. It can be seen from the data of student learning outcomes. Students average value before the classroom action were 63.97 and increased became 73.33 in cycle I. Then, its increased again became 82.17 in cycle II. The increasing percentage from the cycle I to the cycle II is 28.45%. The percentage of classical success before the classroom action was 35.89%. After that, Its increased became 58.97% in cycle I and increased again became 82.05% in cycle II.Keywords: Cooperative Learning Model, Talking Stick, IPS Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: The problem this research does because the students achievement of social studies fourth graderes students at SDN 019 Sekeladi still low with an average value 57.60 and Minimum completeness criteria ( KKM ) social studies is 65. Between students, which amounting to 23 students only 6 students completeness. Formulation of the problem "is the implementation of learning model Problem Based Instruction ( PBI ) can improve students achievement of social studies fourth grade students at SDN 019 Sekeladi districts of Tanah Putih ?”. This study aims to improve the students achievement of social studies fourth graderes students at SDN 019 Sekeladi districts of Tanah Putih with implementation learning model Problem Based Instruction ( PBI ). The research was conducted on the date of March 10, 2017 until April 05, 2017. Subjects were fourth graderes at SDN 019 Sekeladi by totaling 23 studens ,7 boys students and 16 gils students. Data collection instruments in this thesis is the a teacher activities and students and achievement students. From the results of the research activities of the teacher in the learning process in the first cycle with the first meeting of an average of 62,50 % and the second meeting improve to 75,00 %. In the second cycle the first meeting 80,00%, and the second meeting improve 87,50%. The results of the data analysis of student activity in the first cycle the first meeting of the two meeting 60.00% and the second meeting improve 70,00%. In the second cycle the first meeting of the two meeting 77,50% and the second meeting improve to 85,00%. Based on the results of the data analysis, the average students achievement before the action the point of average 57,60 (category less). After the action in the first cycle with the average of 66,08 (category enough). In the second cycle meeting improve with the average of 75,43 (category good). Mean that the implementation of learning model Problem Based Instruction ( PBI ) can improve the students achievement of social studies at fourth graderes SDN 019 Sekeladi districts Tanah Putih.Key words: Model Learning of Problem Based Instruction ( PBM ) , fourthgraderes Students Achievement

Abstract

Abstract: The background in this research is the low social achievement of third grade students SDN 42 Pekanbaru. The KKM determined by the school is 73. Out of 36 students, only 14 students (38.88%) reach KKM and 22 students (61.12%) who have not reached KKM with grade 61.47 grade average. This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of social achievement of third grade students SDN 42 Pekanbaru by applying cooperative type model of talking stick. This study presents the learning results obtained from daily test scores before the action with an average of 61.47 increased to 71.66 in cycle I, and increased again to 76.52 in cycle II. Teacher activity in the first cycle of the first meeting gained a percentage of the percentage of 66.66% good category, at the second meeting increased by the percentage of 75.00% with good category. Next cycle II first meeting of teacher activity also increase with percentage of 83,33% good category and at second meeting increase again with percentage equal to 91,67% very good category. While the activity of student in cycle I meeting one get percentage of student activity equal to 62,50% with less, at second meeting increase with percentage 75,00% with good category. Next on the second cycle of the first meeting of student activity increased with the percentage of 83.33% good category and at the second meeting increased with a very good 91.66% category percentage. Based on the results of this study, it can be proved that the appliement of cooperative type talking stick learning model to improve the learning student’s social subject learning result at third grade SDN 42 Pekanbaru.Key Words: Cooperative learning model type talking stick, learning outcomes social

Abstract

Abstract:Pekanbaru City development begins trading center Siak River bank in the area Senapelan, and from there the actual zero point of Pekanbaru is located. The zero point of Pekanbaru when it is marked by a small monument in the area of Indonesia Godown I, Kampung Bandar. The square-shaped stone monument with a height of approximately 70 cm and engraved Pb.0, Pad 313, Bkn 65. (Pb are Pekanbaru, Pad means Padang City and Bkn means Bangkinang City).However, in 2011 was made a monument called the monument Zapin is now recognized to be the zero point of Pekanbaru. Displacement of the zero point is being debated and will shift the identity of the city of Pekanbaru.The purpose of this study is 1) to know the history of the city of Pekanbaru 2) to determine the beginning of the laying of the zero point of Pekanbaru 3) to determine the cause of the zero point of Pekanbaru moved 4) to determine the effect displacement of the zero point of Pekanbaru. The method used in this research is the method of historical research. The technique that use is an analytical technique that is descriptive analysis approach that is used to describe a state or condition with respect to the zero point of the displacement Influence of Senapelan to Sudirman Pekanbaru, which is associated with the existing theory and the data obtained, so it seems obvious conclusion. Results from this study is the influence that occurs due to migration of zero to Sudirman monument that was originally located in the area of Senapelan. Among count automatic distance changing, people's views will be zero, and the downtown area being the same, and the main thing is the identity of the city slightly shifted because that. Simply put, the calculation of the initial distance specified by monument zero point in Senapelan now be changed. Furthermore, the society's perspective on an area of zero point and the center of town to be the same, due to similarities layout is influenced by the movement of the zero point of Pekanbaru.Key Words: Displacement, Kilometer Zero Point, Pekanbaru City

Abstract

Abstract: This study was motivated by the low learning outcomes Civics fourth grade (IV) students SDN 020 Padang Mutung with average value 60.68 (with KKM 70). The purpose of this research was to improve civics learning outcomes of the fourth grade (IV) students of SDN 020 Padang Mutung Kampar districts with the implementation of cooperative STAD type learning model. This research was classroom action with two cycles. The subjects were students of class IV SDN 022 Padang Mutung academic year 2015/2016 whict amounted to 22 people consisting of 10 male students and 12 female students. Based on the result an analysis the observation of teachers and students' activity sheet has increased at every meeting. Teacher’s activity with the implementation of cooperative STAD type learning model at first meeting of the first cycle was 66.66% (good), and the second meeting of the first cycle of 75% (good), At second cycle, Teacher’s activity at first meeting of first cycle was 91.66% (very good ) and the second meeting was 95.83% (very good). Students activities at first meeting of the first cycle was54.16% (enough) and the second meeting was 70.83% (good), At second cycle, student activities at first meeting was 83.33% (very good), and second meeting was 95.85 % (very good). Civics learning outcomes before implementation cooperative STAD type learning model average 60.68, after implementation of cooperative STAD type learning model (UH) I was 68.40 that improve of 12.72% , and the UH II was 82.95 that improve of 36.36%. Based on this it can be concluded that the application of cooperative STAD type learning model can improved civics learning outcomes of the fourth grade (IV) students students SDN 020 Padang Mutung Kampar District.Keywords: Cooperative Learning Model Type stad, Civics studies students achievement

Abstract

Abstract: This research is aimed to investigate the ability of the tenth grade students of SMAN 1 Rambah in writing recount text. The problem discussed in this study is : How good is the level of the tenth grade students ability in writing recount text? The methodology of this research is descriptive quantitative research. The data of the study are recount texts made by the tenth grade students of SMAN 1 Rambah. In this study, the instrument used in this research was a written test in the form of a report of science experiment. There are 7 classes for population of this research consists of 174 students. Since the material which investigated was a report of science experiment, so the writer took 69 students (X IPA 1, X IPA 2, X IPA 3) as the sample of the research selected by purposive sampling. The data of this research were collected by conducting a written test. The writer asked the students to write the scientific report based on the experiment that they have done. It might be chemistry, biology, or physics experiment. The results of data analysis showed the mean score of students’ ability in writing recount text was 70.71. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that the ability of tenth grade students of SMAN 1 Rambah in writing recount text is in good level based on Brown’s analytical scale for rating composition tasks. In relation with the result of the study, it can be suggested (1) for the students, they need more practice in writing and should pay attention to grammar and mechanics aspects, since the score of these writing aspects were low, (2) it is better to English teachers to apply appropriate methods and techniques in teaching recount text in class to the students so that they are able to write recount text well, and (2) for the next researchers, it is hoped that this research can be a source of literature review to conduct similar researches.Keywords: Writing, Ability, Students’ Writing Ability, Recount Text

Abstract

Abstract: This research is a classroom action research that aims to improve the learning mathematics outcomes in the third grade students of SD Negeri 05 Jayapura by applying the type of cooperative learning model Think Pair Share (TPS). The low yield is due to students' learning model used by teachers in teaching mathematics less varied, tends to dull the learning process so that students are less motivated to learn. This research was conducted in the second half (even) in the academic year 2014/2015. The subjects were students of class III SD Negeri 05 Jayapura, as many as 29 people, consisting of 17 men and 12 women. This thesis presents the results of student learning tests showed significant improvement with the implementation of cooperative learning Think Pair Share (TPS). This research is a form of classroom action research consisting of 2 cycles. Research instruments include learning device (syllabi, lesson plans, worksheets) as well as observation sheets teachers and students. The results showed that the learning outcomes and increases the activity of teachers and students. Student learning outcomes in the first cycle an average of 75.52 with 21 students completed the completeness percentage of 72.41% increased in the second cycle average of 81.03 at 27 students completed the completeness percentage of 93.10%. The activities of teachers in the first cycle are categorized as being increased in the second cycle were considered good. Activity of students in the first cycle of the first meeting were categorized fairly elevated in the second meeting acquire either category, then on the second cycle increased categorized as good. It can be concluded that the application of cooperative learning Think Pair Share (TPS) can improve mathematics learning outcomes third grade students of SD Negeri 05 Jayapura.Keywords: Cooperative Learning Model Type Model Think Pair Share (TPS), Mathematics Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated as long as the researchers carry out practical teaching activities in the field (PPL) in one of the elementary schools in Pekanbaru, namely SD Muhammadiyah 6 Pekanbaru, especially in the practice class, which is the VA class of 24 students, almost as much as 55% of students in the class according to the observations of the researchers. very low and it is caused by the ability they have that has disrupted the learning process. This study aims to find out and analyze what are the indicators that influence student motivation in grade V in elementary school in the cluster 1 Payung Sekaki district, Pekanbaru. This type of research uses descriptive quantitative methods, the instrument used in this study uses a questionnaire (questionnaire). The population in this study was grade V students, amounting to 255 students with a sample of 72 students. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire, based on the results of the processed data obtained 85,654% influenced by the goal, 82,078% influenced by changes in energy, 81,272% influenced by feeling / feeling. The conclusion of this study according to the results of the acquisition of the percentage of indicators that most influence on student motivation is the goal indicator with 85.654%. The more valuable the goal is for the individual the stronger the motivation. Key Words: Analysis, Motivation and Learning

Abstract

Abstrac: This research aims to improve grade IV student’s social science contextual teaching learning at SD 007 Sekar Mawar Kecamatan Pasir Penyu Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu academic year 2014/2015 trought “ Application of contextual teaching learning grade IV students social science learning achievement at SD Negeri 007 Sekar Mawar. This research was conducted in mart. The numbers of students are 25 students which contains of 12 boys and 13 girls. This research is classroom action research which contains of three cycles. Each cycle consist of 2 meeting. Parameter of the research is involved students learning achievement after the action in each cycle (daily test I, II, III). Instrument of the research contains of learning tools ( syllabus, RPP, LKS, Learning result paper sheet), observation of student and teacher activity sheet. Data of the research will analyze descriptively. Research data show that learning achievement has increased. Where prior to the application of the methods of giving a task as much as any 13 students (52%) scored daily test is above or equal to the minimum completeness criteria (KKM). It was improved to 76% after using the application of the method of giving a task in first cycle. In the second cycle increased to 92%. Activities of the student during the learning process is can be categorized very well. From the explanation above show that application of the method of contextual teaching learning (CTL) can be improving grade IV student’s social science learning achievement at SD Negeri 007 Sekar Mawar.Keyword : the method contextual teaching learning

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine whether the motivation to learn and learning behavior affects the learning outcomes of the course Introduction to Accounting on Economic Education students of the University of Riau, UIN Suska Riau and Riau Islamic University class of 2014. The subjects were students of Economic Education University of Riau, UIN Suska Riau and Riau Islamic University class of 2014 numbered 80 people, samples were taken using Purposive Sampling method. The data used are primary data and secondary data with data collection using questionnaires and interviews. Data analysis technique used is Multiple Linear Regression Analysis were processed by SPSS 21.0 For Windows and Microsoft Excel program. The results of this study indicate that the motivation to learn and learning behavior have a significant effect on learning outcomes. Means higher learning motivation and learning behavior then it will also improve the student learning outcomes. Thus, to improve learning outcomes required motivated and learn good behavior. Keywords: Motivation, Behavior Learning, Learning Outcomes
