Abstract

Abstract : This research is titled The Readability of Indonesian Text Book and Reading Comprehension Students of Class X SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru. This study aims to describe the relationship between the readability of Indonesian texts and reading the understanding of students of class X SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru. The data of this research is the result of Indonesian language readability test and reading comprehension ability of class X students of SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru consisting of 13 parallel classes with population 415 students and sample size 204 students. Technique of collecting data by giving test of Indonesian text readability and comprehension reading test. To find out whether or not the value expected by the students is calculated using chi square, to find out whether there are differences in mean groups between samples is calculated using Kruskall Wallis, and to find the relationship between the readability of Indonesian texts and reading comprehension is calculated using Rank Order correlation. Based on the research, it is found that (1) the readability of Indonesian text is moderate; (2) the readability of Indonesian texts between different sample groups, Meaning, there is a difference between the readability of Indonesian text between fellow class X or between one or more classes of X; (3) the reading comprehension ability is low; (4) the ability to read understanding among groups of the same group. Meaning, there is no difference reading comprehension between fellow class X or between one or several classes of X; (5) the readability of Indonesian texts and reading comprehension have no significant relationship, Meaning, there is no relation of readability of text and reading comprehension. It can be concluded that the relationship between the two only reached the correlation coefficient of 0.353 including the qualification of low relations.Key Words: readability, text, reading comprehension, cloze test

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated because of the low ability to read the fourth grade students of SDN 008 Sungai Bakau, with the average value of only 56.4 sedngkan KKM is 70. This research aims to improve the ability to read aloud the fourth grade students of SDN 008 Sungai Bakau. This research is a classroom action research (PTK), which consists of two cycles, held on genab semester of 2015/2016. Subjects of this study amounted to 20 students. This study aims to improve the ability to read aloud using the approach Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL). The research instrument consists of learning tools and instrument data collecting observation sheets and assay results of learning. Data analysis technique used is the statistical analysis using the manual method. Data analysis activities of teacher and student activity sheets based on data observed during the implementation of the action. While the analysis of learning outcomes data derived from the results of the final test cycles one and two. Based on data analysis activities of teachers and students saw an increase include: the activities of teachers in the first cycle reached 67.5%, the second cycle to 80% while the student activity reached 62.50% the first cycle, the second cycle reaches 87.50%. Analysis of the data showed an increase in student learning outcomes, namely 68.75 in the first cycle increase in cycle two to be 79.87. This indicates that the application of CTL learning model can improve the ability to read aloud the fourth grade students of SDN 008 Sungai Bakau. Abstract

Abstract: This study was conducted to determine whether there are effects of exercise on knee-tuck jump explosive leg muscle power in volleyball game so that when doing a smash to get maximum result. The design of this research is experimental, with a population of volleyball players of IPLAI Junior Lubuk Pandan, the data in this research is whole population with 11 people as the total. The instruments that used in this research is vertical jump test, which aims to measure the explosive power of leg muscles. Thereafter the data is processed statistically, to test the normality with lilifors test at significant level 0,05a. The hypothesis is the effect of knee-tuck jump exercise to explosive power of leg muscles. Based on analysis of T test, generates T count by 8.615 and amounted to 1.812. It means T table > T arithmetic. Based on the analysis of statistical data, the data is normal. Thus there is the effect of knee-tuck jump exercise towards explosive power of leg muscles in volleyball men’s IPLAI Junior Lubuk Pandan club.Keywords: Knee-Tuck Jump, Explosive Power of Leg Muscles.

Abstract

Abstract : The study aims to determine the effect of student perceptions and attitudesof students on accounting learning achievment. The population is students of class XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Bagansinembah as many as 166 students, and the sample of 106 students.Data collection using questionnaires and documentation techniques. Analysis of data used is multiple linear regression. The result of the research based on multiple linear regression showed students 'perceptions and students' attitudes have an effect on students learning achievment of class XI IPS 1. This can be seen from the value of constanta (a) of 7, 686 and the value of regression coefficient (b) of 1, 171, and 1, 378 with the regression equation 7,686 + 1,371 +, 378. Judging from the calculation of R2 (R Square) obtained value of 0.273. This means that the contribution of students' perceptions and attitudes to accounting lessons on accounting learning achievement in SMA Negeri 1 Bagansinembah is 27.3%.Key Words: Perception, Attitude, Learning Achievement

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the effect on the performance of the union board member participation in Sri Mersing Union in SMK N 1 Selatpanjang. This research was conducted in the savings and loan Sri Mersing UnionSelatpanjang from March to Mei 2014. The research method used is descriptive quantitative method. The population is all members of the Sri Mersing Union. 61 respondents were selected as a sample of union members who are not serving as manager and supervisors. Data collection instrument used was a questionnaire with Likert scale for the dependent variables : participation of members (Y) ; independent variables : the performance of the board (X). Data analysis techniques used are statistical techniques with simple linear regression. From the results, it can be concluded that : (1) the performance of the board affect the participation of members of the Sri Mersing Union; (2) the effect of the board's performance against the participation of members of the Sri Mersing Union Selatpanjang amounted to 49.4 %                                  Key words : union, performance, participation

Abstract

Abstract: This research is aimed to find the influence of group guidance service to the decline of self defense mechanisme of the students. This type of research is quasi experiment with one group pre test and post test pattern. Analysis used in this research is descriptive qualitative and quantitative analytic. Subjects in this study were selected using non probability sampling technique with purposive sampling method. This research research is 30 people, this data collection method is questionnaire. Group guidance on Self Defense mechanisme decline 26% in the mean, while 74% influenced by variables or other factors such as environment, school, family.Keywords : Group Guidance Services,Self Defense Mechanisms

Abstract

Abstract: The objective of this research was to develop the student’s activity paper on the subject of Atomic Structure. The type of this research was research and development (R & D) with the 4-D development model which include Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. This research was to develop phase and be continue with a definite tryout. This research was conducted in FKIP Riau University. The data analysis technique used for this research was descriptive statistic. The descriptive analysis done by calculated the percentage of validation value. The average score of valuation to four expediency aspect of student’s activity sheet by validator’s team, such as the content properness, the language properness, course and the graphical has expediency value continued is 83,33%, 87,50%, 85,00%, and 84,375%. Thus, the average score totality of student’s activity paper based on the Problem Based Learning subject of Atomic structure is 85,05% which is in valid criteria, means that the LKPD Developed is proper to be use.Key Words: Student Activity Sheet, Problem Based Learning, and Atomic Structure

Abstract: Tradition It is the custom of society that is often carried out by a group of people from generation to generation from generation to generation and still continues to this day. Banjar wedding customary tradition is a tradition carried out by Banjar Pengalihan people. This study aims, To find out the process of Indigenous Tradition of Banjar Tribe marriage in Pengalihan Village, Keritang Subdistrict, Indragiri Hilir Regency, To find out the kinds of Indigenous Traditions of the Banjar Tribe marriage in the Pengalihan Village, Keritang District, Indragiri Hilir The Banjar tribe comes from Sumatran, Kalimantan and Javanese Malays who came to South Kalimantan to trade. Their customs and beliefs are due to the centuries-old influence of Dayaks, Malays and Javanese. That Banjar culture in the community area of his hometown is indeed very dominating, it can be seen in daily life and cultural arts. Banjar arts such as Bamanda, Balamut, Madihin, Japen, are still often performed at certain events in connection with celebrating holidays, celebrating weddings, festivals, or other forms of celebration after the harvest season. Based on records, the population in Indragiri Hilir Regency is around 560 thousand people, 40 percent of them are Banjar tribes, followed by Malays, Bugis, Minang, Javanese and other ethnic groups. Regency, knowing the development of the kinds of Indigenous Traditions of the Banjar Tribe marriage in the Pengalihan Village, Keritang District, Indragiri Hilir Regency. In this study using qualitative research methods. Qualitative is a method that does not use numbers in data collection and in giving an interpretation of results. The results of this study indicate that the tradition of the Banjar tribe marriage tradition is one of the indigenous Banjar tribes whose fiber will mean.Key Words: Tradition, Customary Marriage

Abstract:The purpose of this research is to find out if there is the practice of passing in pairs on the ability of passing on the team volleyball men’s Madrasah Aliyah Bahrul Ulum Pantai Raja. So, when a (passing) get the capabilities of passing on a good. The research is research to the treatment of (Experimental), with a population team volleyball men’s Madrasah Aliyah Bahrul Ulum, the data in this research is the whole population of 12 people. The instruments used in this research is a test of passing the ball (passing), it aims to measure the ability of the passing up in volleyball. After that, the data is processed with statistics,to test normality with a lilifors test at significance level α (0.05). The hypothesis put forward is the influence of the exercise of passing in pairs on the ability of passing on. Based on the analysis of statistical data, the data pree test Lhitungof 0,1424, data post test Lhitungof 0,1369 and Ltabel 0,242, then Lhitung<Ltabel.then the data is normal with an increase of 6,08. Based on t test analysis produces Ttabel>Thitung of 6,4 and 1,796, meaning Thitung> Ttabel. Thus, there is the influence of exercise of passing in pairson the ability of passing on the team volleyball men’s Madrasah Aliyah Bahrul Ulum Pantai Raja.Keywords : passing in pairs, the ability of passing on.

Abstract

Abstack: Teaching experience is a task to be done by teachers with supporting factors and increase knowledge in the work. Labor discipline is an attitude of respect, honor, obey and comply with applicable regulations without violating the rules that have been defined. Teacher performance is the result of work that has been accomplished by a teacher as an educator to achieve educational goals. This study aims to determine the effect of teaching and discipline of work on teacher performance. The population in this study are all teachers of SMK Labor Binaan FKIP UNRI, using sampling techniques through sampling methods saturated. Data were collected using questionnaires and documentation. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis, t test and F test with significance level of 0.05%. Based on the research showed that the experience of teaching and discipline simultaneously positive and significant impact on teacher performance. It is based on the analysis results, which show the calculation results F test > F table (11.656 > 3.316). Furthermore, by t test to determine whether each of the independent variables affect the dependent variable. The results showed a partial teaching experience no significant effect on the performance of teachers. This is evidenced in which t test < t table (1.691 < 2.042). Further to the work discipline variable indicates that a significant effect on the performance of teachers. This is evidenced in which thitung> t table (4.620> 2.042). The predictive ability of the two variables on the performance of teachers in the study amounted to 43.7% (R Square .437) while the remaining 56.3% is influenced by other factors which are not included in this study.Keywords: teaching experience, work discipline, teacher performance.
