Abstract

Abstract: This study is a classroom action research that aims to improve learning outcomes competences class knowledge Va SDN 034 KijangRejoTapung District of Kampar through the adoption of Jigsaw Cooperative Learning Model. Based on observations in class Va SDN 034 KijangRejo is known that the learning competencies of knowledge on the subjects of Indonesian students on the theme of 2Peristiwa dalam kehidupansubtema 2 Peristiwa-peristiwa penting are relatively low, with an average of 62.5. Data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis by looking at the activity of the teacher, student activity and learning outcomes of knowledge competency Indonesian theme 2Peristiwa dalam Kehidupan of three sub-themes of Manusia dan Peristiwa Alam, theme 3 Kerukunan dalam Masyarakatsubtema 1 Hidup Rukun and themes 3 Kerukunan dalam Masyarakatsubtema 2 Manfaat Hidup Rukun. The average score was 62.5 basis while third cycle with an average of 77.34, bringing the total increase in learning outcomes competences Indonesian knowledge of 23.74%. Improved learning outcomes have occurred due to the increased activity of teachers and students. Results of observation of teacher activity in the first cycle of meeting 1 that is equal to 62.5%, while the third cycle of meeting 2 is 91.67%, bringing the total increase in the activity of teachers is 29.17%. The percentage of student learning activities in the first cycle of meeting 1 is 41.67%, while the third cycle was 87.5% 2 meeting, bringing the total increase amounted to 45.83% of student activity. From the results of a study it can be concluded that the adoption of Jigsaw Cooperative Learning Model can Improve Learning Outcomes Knowledge Competence Indonesian Va Grade Students of SDN 034 KijangRejoTapung District of Kampar regency. Abstract

Abstract: The problems in this study is the low student learning outcomes in science lesson with the averages grade 65.47. This research aims to improve learning outcomes fifth grade science students of SDN 21 Pekanbaru with the implementation of cooperative learning model type Teams Games Tournaments. The study design used is a Class Action Research (PTK) is conducted in three cycles. Each cycle of four meetings teridiri namely penyampain material and tournaments and one time meeting daily tests. The research was conducted in September and October the number of 42 students consisting of 21 male and 21 female. In order to study this class action is successful, the researchers set the stage that action planning, action, observation, and reflection. The data collection instruments of observation and tests of learning outcomes. Technical analysis of the data that is used as follows, namely the activities of the Master, the average percentage of the activity the teacher first cycle was 68.77% with the category enough, on the second cycle increased to 73, 47% with the good category, then the third cycle increased again to 85.94% with a very good category. While the activities of the students, the average percentage of student activity in the first cycle was 67.21% with the category enough, on the second cycle increased to 78.15% with the good category, then the third cycle increased to 87.52% with the category of very good. Improved learning outcomes of the student base score is 65.47 increased to 70.11 (5%). In the daily deuteronomy I rise again in Deuteronomy Daily II to 77, 85 (21%) and increase again in deuteronomy daily III to 83.45 (36%). From this study be concluded that by applying the model of cooperative learning type Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) may improve learning outcomes fifth grade science students of SDN 21 Pekanbaru.Key Words: Cooperative Teams Games Tournaments, students,learning outcomes.

Abstract

Abstract : Issues raised in this research is to improve student learning outcomes math class III SD Muhammadiyah 4 Pekanbaru. The low learning outcomes of students because teachers still use the lecture method so that the lack of attention of students during the lessons and student think math is a difficult subject and tedious because it deals with formulas so that students feel bored. Quantum model of teaching can improve students' mathematics learning outcomes Class III SD Muhammadiyah 4 Pekanbaru. Subjects in this study were students of class III SD Muhammadiyah 4 Pekanbaru academic year 2014/2015 the number of students 38 people consisting of 26 boys and 12 girls. This research was conducted in two cycles, the first cycle was conducted in two sessions and the second cycle was also conducted two meetings and one repeat cycle end. Data collection instruments in this study was the observation sheet student, teacher observation sheet, outcomes assessment rubric and assessment process. The study is in the form of classroom action research (PTK), which aims to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes Class III SD Muhammadiyah 4 Pekanbaru in the subject matter of measurement. These results indicate that the application of the model of Quantum Teaching can improve students' mathematics learning outcomes Class III SD Muhammadiyah 4 Pekanbaru. At the beginning of the data mean the base score is 68.94, the average in the first cycle increased 8,95poin be 77.89, and the mean on the second cycle increased again 16.05 points to 93.94. On the basis of students' scores classical completeness is 44.74% of students in the first cycle classical completeness students increased 15.65 points to 60.39%. In the second cycle increased 26.45 points to 86.84%. From the results of this study concluded that the application of Quantum Teaching models can improve student learning outcomes Class III SD Muhammadiyah 4 Pekanbaru. Abstract

Abstract : The problem in this research is the low student essay writing skills, as seen from the average value of students is 70,4. Of the 32 students who achieve grades above KKM only 12 students  (37,5%), while students who heve not reached the KKM many as 20 students (62,5%), the value specified KKM is 75. Based on these problem s need classroom action research conducted by applying the model of contextual teaching and learning. This study aims to improve the writing skills of a simple essay third grade students of SDN 001 Teluk Beringin of school year 2014/2015 the number of students as many as 32 people consisting of 19 male students and 13 female students. This research was conducted by three cycles. At  each cycle I,II, and III consist of two face to face meetings and one daily test at the end of the cycle. With the applied model of contextual teaching and learning can improve essay writing skills, it can be seen fron the increase of students writing skills base score is the average of 70,4 increased by 2,9 % to 72,5 in the first cycle, and the cycle II increased by 7,9% to 76, and the third cycle increased by 17,7% to 82,9. The percentage of teachers activity also increased, as seen from the percentage of teachers in the first cycle of activity first meeting 62,5% increase at meeting the second becomes 68,75%, on the second cycle increased in the first meeting , namely 75 % and increased in the second meeting to 81,25%, and rose again on the third cycle of the first meeting be 87,5%, and increased in the second meeting to 93,75%. The percentage of student activity also increased in the first cycle the first meeting 62,5% increase to 68,75% in the second meeting, on the second cycle increased in the first meeting  75%, and increased in the second meeting of 81,25%, in the third cycle increased  in the first meeting of 87,5%, and increased in the second meeting becomes 93,75%. Based on the research results can be concluded that aplication of contextual teaching and learning models enhance the writing skills of third grade student of SDN 001 Teluk Beringin. Abstract

Abstrak : Problem in this study is the low of student ability in making imaginative drawing on the lessons of Cultural Arts and Skills. For that we need to be improved in order to enhance the students' ability to create imaginative pictures. Efforts to repair by applying direct instructional model to enhance the ability to draw imaginative. This research is classroom action research. The research was conducted on third grade students at SDN 85 Pekanbaru academic year 2014/2015. Time of the research was conducted on 21 November 2014 until 6 December 2014. The subject of research is the third grade students of SDN 85 Pekanbaru which contains of 37 students; they are consisting of 17 men and 20 women. Data collection techniques used observation techniques and tests. Data analyzing technique used the activities of teachers and students, the form of product assessment process and results. The results showed that the average scores of students was 59.57, has increased in the first cycle of UH I to 64. Has an increased of 4.43. In second cycle of UH II became 72.67, has increased 8.67 from a first cycle. In the first cycle of teacher activity for first meeting with an average of 65 and second meeting have improving to 75. The second cycle for first meeting with an average of 85 and second meetings is 95. Then the student’s activity in the first cycle for the first meeting with an average of 65% and has increased in the second meeting to 75%. Then the first meeting of the second cycle increased to 90% and in the second meeting increased to 95%. From the above explanation shows that the application of direct learning model can improve the ability to draw imaginative third grade students of SDN 85 Pekanbaru. Abstract

Abstract : In era globalization era, poem is not interested by students when learning Indonesian language at the class. it is because of many things with modern technology which is make students ignore to understanding poem , performance of poem and practice to write poem. Consequently researcher conducted this research toward fifth grade students of SD An Namiroh pusat pekanbaru to describe of students’ writing ability about poem. The population of research is all of fifth grade students SD An Namiroh Pekanbaru. The sample of this research was 140 students of fifth grade of SD An Namiroh Pekanbaru. The research has given essay test to measure their writing ability. Score of determining is with conversion score formula.Analysis of writing ability with average score formula. Poem analyzed based on four aspects. They are the number of lines in the stanza, the number of syllables each lines, poetry and content.  Based on result of data analysis, students’ writing ability about poem which less category, there are 35 students or 25% of sample, the  average category , there are 20 students or 20 or 14,3 %of sample,  the good category is 21 students or 15% of sample, the excellent category is 64 students or 45,7% of sample. Therefore, based on the data above, in conclusion students’ writing ability of poem at Fifth grade of SD An namiroh pekanbaru is 78 score or average category. Key Word : Writing ability , Poem

Abstract

ABSTRACT:The background problem of this research was because of there is difference between Malay ethnic students and Chinese ethnic students toward the implementation of patriotism characteristic in SMAS Maha Bodhi Karimun Regency. In this research, the formulation of the problem was come from the idea that there is the difference in implementing the patriotism characteristic between Malay ethnic students and Chinese ethnic students of SMAS Maha Bodhi Karimun Regency. Furthermore, the aimed of this research was to find out the difference in implementing the patriotism characteristic between Malay ethnic and Chinese ethnic students. The participants of this research were 7 students who come from Malay ethnic and 52 students of Chinese ethnic. This research used an instrument which content of 27 questions. This research was analyzed using “t” test. This finding research was found that the students from Malay ethnic got the average score about 71,29 % while the students from Chinese ethnic got the average score about 68,56 %. From this finding, we can conclude that there is no significant difference between Malay ethnic and Chinese ethnic students in implementing the patriotism characteristic of SMAS Maha Bodhi Karimun Regency. Abstract

Abstract:This research was motivated by the implementation of Curriculum 2013 in PPKn learning process. Education is an absolute must for everyone where it will form a strong, qualified, authoritative, and have a knowledge and ability to live in accordance with the times. Throughout the history of curriculum development in Indonesia, Curriculum 2013 development was the most remarkable pro-contra. Curriculum improvement is actually a common thing, even in fact it is a necessity. It motivated the writer to take a title “The Implementation of Curriculum 2013 in PPKn Learning Process in Senior High Schools throughout the City of Pekanbaru”.The formulation of the research are as follow: “How is the implementation of Curriculum 2013 in PPKn learning process?” and “How is the difficulty level faced by PPKn teachers in Curriculum 2013?”. The objectives of the research are to find out the implementation of Curriculum 2013 in PPKn learning process and to find out the difficulty level faced by PPKn teachers in Curriculum 2013. The population of the research was 6 schools which implement Curriculum 2013, and the sample of the research was 15 PPKn teachers. The instrument to collect the data were questionnaires which consist of 76 questions, and interviews which consist of 4 questions. The data were analyzed by Qualitative Descriptive through percentage. Based on the calculation of percentage by respondents, the  answer “often” was obtained as 53,78376% placed on rank 34%-66% that was adequate. Thus, the hyphothesis which explains the PPKn teachers who were “adequate” toward the implementation of Curriculum 2013 in PPKn learning proces, was accepted. Based on the research findings, it can be inferred that a study on the PPKn teachers toward the implementation Curriculum 2013 in Senior High Schools throughout the city of Pekanbaru were adequate. Abstract

Abstract: Teachers tend to improve the students’ ability by applying strategies. One of them is the topic of this article. This article is based on a research report about using story mapping strategy to improve students’ ability in comprehending narrative texts. The aimof this research was to know whether or not using story mapping strategy could improve students’ ability in comprehending narrative texts and how it could improve the ability. Classroom action research was designed in two cycles at 39 students of XI-1 Science of SMA Tri Bhakti Pekanbaru as the participant of this research. The data were collected through reading comprehension test, observation sheet, and field note. This research found that story mapping strategy could improve the students’ ability in comprehending narrative texts. Students’ mean score improved from 40 in pre-test to 66 in post-test 1, and to 79,7 in post-test 2. It is in line with the activeness of students that improved from 83% in cycle 1 to 96,5% in cycle 2. Story mapping strategy helps students in visualizing the narrative texts. It analyzes each part of the story and tells how it relates to each other. The students were introduced to the essential part to make them comprehend the text easily. This research recommended that teachers could use story mapping strategy to improve students’ ability in comprehending narrative texts since it was an effective strategy by providing the structure and organization of the texts.Key words: story mapping strategy, ability, narrative text

Abstract

Abstract: This research was motivated for a custom which is the original custom of Kabupaten Rokan Hulu, wherein it can be said that no matter the law, this custom must be implemented. But, in fact, this “Adat Upah-upah” is running only for several people, the remainders do not. It motivated the writer to take a title “A Study on the People’s Perception toward “Adat Upah-upah” in Desa Pematang Berangan Kecamatan Rambah Kabupaten Rokan Hulu”. The objective of the research is to find out the people’s perception toward “Adat Upah-upah” in DesaPematang Berangan Kecamatan Rambah Kabupaten Rokan Hulu. The population of the research was 353 KK, and the sample of the research was 35 persons. The instrument to collect the data were questionnaires which consist of 16 questions and interviews which consist of 4 questions. The data was analyzed by Qualitative Descriptive through percentage. Based on the calculation of percentage by respondents, the  answer “good” was obtained as 60,17% placed on rank 50,01%-75,00%. Thus, the hyphothesis which explains the people’s perception that was “good” toward “Adat Upah-upah” in Desa Pematang Berangan Kecamatan Rambah Kabupaten Rokan Hulu, was accpeted. Based on the research finding, it can be inferred that a study on the people’s perception toward “Adat Upah-upah” in Desa Pematang Berangan Kecamatan Rambah Kabupaten Rokan Hulu was good.  Keywords: Peception, “Adat Upah-upah”.
