Abstract

Abstract: This study discusses the translation 'kandou' in the comic Kimetsu no Yaiba. The method is descriptive qualitative. The purpose of this study is to discuss form, function and meaning, using semantic translation methods and translation procedures based on Newmark's theory. The results indicated that there are forms maa, ou, oo, e, e', hora, nanda, ara, are, aa, a', waa, kya, and gya. Morphologically, the equivalent forms found there are two forms, namely lexical and grammatical. The lexical form is found in the equivalent of ‘apa’ and the grammatical form is found in the equivalent of ‘wah’, ‘oh’, ‘eh’, ‘tuhkan’, ‘apa ini’, ‘apa-apaan’, ‘apa itu’, ‘kok’, ‘waa’, ‘kya’ and ‘gya’ which shows the function and meaning of feeling surprised, amazed, doubtful, convinced, impressed, suspicious, asking for attention, showing something, asking for meaning, angry, sad, afraid and sick.Key Words: Translation, Kandou, Comic.

Abstract

Abstrack:This research is describing the product development of Learning Implementation Plans (RPP) using a learning model that has never been applied to the dokkai 3 course before, namely the reciprocal teaching. This research includes level 3 research and development (R&D) research, which is developing existing products and also making and testing the effectiveness of these products. The data sources in this study were RPP development media experts and dokkai material experts, as well as 9 Japanese Language Education students from the Riau University FKIP year 2019 as respondents. Data collection was carried out with a questionnaire validation test of the feasibility of media development experts and material experts, students response questionnaires, and observations during the learning process. The data analysis in this study is in the form of qualitative descriptive, and quantitative data techniques by carrying out the product development process in accordance with the procedures of the level 3 Development research is carried out continuously until the product lesson plans are declared suitable for use in the dokkai 3 learning process.Key Words: research and development(R&D), RPP, reciprocal teaching, dokkai

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the effect of using the PHET-assisted LKPD on students' understanding of the concept of electrical circuit material for class IX at MTs Negeri 8 Kampar. This study involved 15 students of class IX.1 MTsN 8 Kampar. The instrument used is LKPD in the form of a description. Data were collected through 3 learning stages using LKPD, namely, pre LKPD, during LKPD, and discussion. Each scattered item has 3 indicators, namely electric current, open circuit, and closed circuit. Then the research results were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that learning using LKPD assisted by PhET media was able to improve students' understanding of concepts in electrical circuit material. This can be seen from the increase in the percentage of students' correct answers at the average percentage in each stage of learning.Keywords: LKPD, Phet simulation, understanding the concept

Abstract

Abstract: The problem in this study is the consumptive behavior of students towards using internet quotas excessively and not for what they need, Using internet quotas to seek pleasure, which most students get nothing from using internet quotas other than just looking for fun, so they cannot control themselves to do things. something that is more useful than just looking for fun from using the internet, the large number of students who use the internet cannot be separated from the large internet quota used. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was a significant correlation between self-control and consumptive behavior in the use of internet quota during the Covid-19 Pandemic at SMPIT Qurrata A’Yun Batusangkar. This research is a quantitative method of correlational type. Sampling using Cluster Sampling, with a population of 153 students, and a sample of 44 people. The data were collected by spreading the Likert Scale. The data analysis technique used Product Moment. negative and significant relationship between self-control and student consumptive behavior. This means that the higher the student's self-control, the lower the student's consumptive behavior, on the contrary, the lower the student's self-control, the higher the student's consumptive behavior.Key Words: Self Control, Consumptive Behavior, Internet Quota

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the importance of professional competence with the results of student learning development. The formulation of the problem in this study is whether there is an influence of the professional competence of Civics teachers on the results of student learning development at SMPN 1 KubuBabussalam. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the professional competence of PPKn teachers on the results of student learning development at SMPN 1 KubuBabussalam. This type of research used quantitative research. The population in this study were all students at SMP N 1 KubuBabussalam as many as 314 people with a total sample of 76 students. The technique used in sampling is the Slovin formula. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire / questionnaire, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique that the researcher uses is simple linear regression. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is a positive influence of teacher professional competence on student learning development outcomes, meaning that every time there is an increase in teacher professional competence, there will also be an increase in student learning development outcomes in a better direction. This is reinforced and supported by a significance smaller than the alpha value, which is 0.007 <0.05, meaning that the professional competence of teachers has a positive and significant effect on the results of student learning development at SMPN 1 KubuBabussalam, RokanHilir, RokanHilir. Furthermore, it can be seen that t count is greater than Fcount is greater than Ftable (7.748>3.96) then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, indicating that teacher professional competence has a positive and significant effect on student learning outcomes at SMPN 1 KubuBabussalam, RokanHilir , RokanHilir.Key Word: Influence, Professional Competence, Learning Development Outcomes, PPKn

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine "The effect of Double Leg Bound exercise has an effect on the results of Leg Muscle Power for the Boys Volleyball Team of SMA Negeri 1 Dayun, Siak Regency. This research was conducted at the volleyball court of SMA Negeri 1 Dayun, Jl. KH. Ahmad Dahlan, Sialang Sakti Village, Siak Regency. This study uses one group, so this study uses a one-group pretest-posttest design approach. In this design there is a pretest before being given treatment. From the analysis it can be concluded that there is an effect of Double Leg Bound exercise on increasing leg muscle power. Programmed and continuous training, the more routinely we do the Double Leg Bound exercise, the better the team's leg muscle power will be. It is clear that to get the results of leg power, it can be increased by doing the Double Leg Bound exercise. This can be seen from the results obtained by using the Double Leg Bound exercise, the results of the leg power obtained are also increased, especially in the Riau Province Satpol Putra team, which this research has held.Key Words: Double Leg Bound Exercise, Leg Muscle Power

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to improve students' cognitive learning outcomes byimplementing a cooperative learning model of Think Talk Write type with mind mapping onglobal warming material for class XI of SMAN 1 Bonai Darussalam. The type of research used isa quasi-experimental design with one group being given treatment and one group not beinggiven any treatment. The research population was all students of class XI SMAN 1 BonaiDarussalam in the academic year 2021/2022, totaling 27 students and the research sampletotaling 15 students. The research instrument used was a test of students' cognitive learningoutcomes. The data collection technique in this study was to provide cognitive learning outcomestests after the learning process was carried out. The data were analyzed using descriptiveanalysis by calculating the absorption and effectiveness of learning, and inferential analysis ofhypothesis testing by means of t-test using the IBM SPSS Statistics 23 program. The results ofthis study were that there were differences in the cognitive learning outcomes of students whoapplied the Think Talk Write cooperative learning model. with Mind Mapping by applyingconventional learning, while the average absorption power of the experimental class is 82.22%in the good category and the control class is 68.29% in the fairly good category with a differencein value of 13.93%. The effectiveness of learning in the experimental class is in the effectivecategory and the control class is in the quite effective category. Thus the implementation of theThink Talk Write type cooperative learning model with Mind Mapping can improve students'cognitive learning outcomesKeywords: Cognitive Learning Outcomes, Think Talk Write, Mind Mapping, Global Warming

Abstract

Abstract: In this study there are problems regarding the gross motor development of children who have not been stimulated such as (balance, mimicking motion, playing by rules, distinguishing right and left, washing hands after playing). This study aims to find out the influence of space outbound games on the gross motor skills of children aged 5-6 years. This research is quantitative research with a type of experimental research with the design of one group pre-test post-test design. The population and sample of this study were 5-6 years old children, numbering 15 children. Observation data collection techniques and data analysis techniques use t-tests using the Windows ver.25 SPSS program. The test is used as a data collection technique, the data obtained is then processed using the t-test to see the comparison of pretest and posttest. Based on the analysis of data known thitung = 24,180 >ttabel = 1.76131 with Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000 because Sig< 0.05. This means that there is an influence of space outbound games on the gross motor skills of children aged 5-6 years which is significant at 42.33%.Key Words: Space Outbound Games, Gross Motor Skills

Abstract

Abstract: This research was conducted to determine the effect of the concentration of baker's yeast on the quality of Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) and the design of the Student Worksheet (LKPD) for biotechnology material for class XII SMA in May-October 2021. This research was carried out in 2 stages, namely the experimental stage: the effect of concentration baker's yeast on the quality of Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) and the LKPD design stage: analysis of the potential development of biotechnology teaching materials for class XII SMA. The study used an experimental method by conducting experiments at the Biology Laboratory, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) and the Chemistry Laboratory, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences (Faperika), Pekanbaru. Sampling was carried out using a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 5 treatments and 3 replications. The parameters in this study were yield, water content, free fatty acids and organoleptic. Based on the results of the analysis of variance (Anava) with an accuracy level of 0.05 or 5%, the concentration of baker's yeast showed a significant effect on the quality of Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO). Giving baker's yeast with a concentration of 20% gave the best quality improvement of Virgin Coconut Oil and based on the analysis of potential research results, it can be used as a student worksheet design for biotechnology material for class XII SMA.Key Words: Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO), fermentation, baker's yeast, LKPD Design

Abstract

Abstract: Translation in non-English speaking countries is important for communication between people with different cultures and languages. To acquire an accurate, clear and natural translation, a translator needs a what is called translation techniques which were proposed by Molina and Albir in 2002. It is a basis in a translation process, which is transferring a written text from the source language to target language. It is in fact the bottom line in this research is entitled „An Analysis of Translation Techniques Used in “The Little Prince” Movie‟s Indonesian Subtitle Text‟. In order to describe it, the writer used the descriptive qualitative approach. Besides, the writer also used the quantitative approach to compile the findings and presenting it in a table with the percentage of each technique‟s frequency. This research finds out there are 16 out of 18 techniques used in this subtitle and the most prominent technique used was the literal translation technique with a frequency of 299, or 28.23% of total data. While the least one was particularization technique which only occurred for 5 times (0.47% of total percentage). The writer also finds out that two of those techniques were not applied by the translator. These are on the ground that the writer could not identify any essential specifications of both techniques. They are description and variation technique.Key Words: Translation, Translation Techniques, Movie, Subtitle.
