Abstract

This research aimed at describing the impact of online learning during COVID-19 pandemic toward primary-aged children’s ability. The research was conducted at State Elementary School of Rejodadi. The descriptive survey of quantitative method was employed to carry out this research. The data collecting technique was done by filling out an online questionnaire through Google Form. The collected data reached were 124 of 178 parents of the students from the first to sixth grade. Data analyses used were data collection, reduction, data display, and conclusion. The data analysis technique used was modus and percentage. The research reveals that online learning during COVID-19 pandemic gives impacts on children’s ability improvement and decline such as thinking, language, mathematical, technological, communication, physical, and prayer ability. The greatest improvement of children ability is on technological ability (36%) and thinking ability (17%), while the greatest decline of children ability is on thinking ability (33%) and physical ability (19%).

Abstract

Abstract: Indonesia is currently facing an industrial revolution 4.0. This affects the education era which is characterized by the use of digital technology in the learning process. The use of technology-based learning media is absolutely necessary in the learning process, Hago is one of them. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of how to improve student learning outcomes in Elementary Schools (SD) through online game learning media (Hago). This research took place at SDN Gogorante Kediri Regency with the research subjects were fourth grade students. In collecting data using 5 steps, namely identification of research variables, identification of research variables, research techniques and approaches, data collection techniques, question validation, and data analysis techniques. Based on the results of the trial, a minimum score of 50 and a maximum score of 90 was obtained with an average student score of 74.80 which was already above the KKM of 70.The conclusion from the trial results is that the use of learning media based on Hago online games has influence on student learning outcomes and is suitable for use as a learning medium. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of the probing-prompting learning model on student learning outcomes on the theme Our Friends of the Environment in grade V Elementary School. This study uses a quantitative method with a quasy experimental research type. Population and sample of all students in grade V with a total of 17 students. The data obtained by observation, pretest (pre-test) aims to determine student learning outcomes before being given treatment and posttest (final test) to determine student learning outcomes after being given treatment. The research instrument used the pretest and posttest questions. Data analysis using t-test, t-test results on learning outcomes obtained t count> t table that is 3.29> 2.09 with a confidence level of 95%. Meanwhile, the influence of variable X (probing-prompting learning model) on variable Y (learning outcomes) is 76.7%. With these results, the alternative hypothesis is accepted and the null hypothesis is rejected. It can be concluded that there is a significant effect of the probing-prompting learning model on student learning outcomes in the theme of our best friend's environment in grade V elementary school.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the aspects of basic science process skills in the 6th grade Bupena Elementary School (SD) science textbook. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The Bupena SD class VI A science textbook is the source of the data in the study. The instrument used in this study was a checklist or a suitable list. The data collection technique was used documentation, study, where the data were obtained from examining documents in the form of a Bupena SD science textbook for grade VI A. The process of collecting data was by providing a checklist on each aspect. Basic science process skills contained in each theme of the Bupena science textbook. The data processing technique was carried out by calculating the percentage of the 6th grade Bupena science textbook that facilitates basic science process skills. The results showed that the percentage of aspects of basic science process skills in the Bupena theme 1 science textbook were 83% with the very facilitating category. Furthermore, theme 2, the percentage of content is 67%, with the category of sufficiently facilitating. The percentage of content in theme 3 is 83%. However, overall the Bupena science textbook has presented material that facilitates basic science process skills. The number of activities that present or contain aspects of basic science process skills in the Bupena IPA textbook varies, with the highest number of activities in the observing aspect, namely 19 activities. The measuring aspect has not been included in the Bupena science textbook because there is no science material related to measuring activities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of online learning during the pandemic in spiritual, affective and psychomotor aspects. The type of research used in this study is a qualitative research, with a descriptive design. The data obtained by the researcher is data in the form of primary and secondary data with data collection techniques in the form of interviews and observations to 6 public and private elementary school teachers who are divided into low grade and high grade teachers in Rembang, Pati, Purwodadi, Sragen, and Madya Districts. Surakarta. The data analysis techniques used are 1) Data collection, 2) Data reduction, 3) Data presentation, and 4) Conclusions, the validity of the data using triangulation methods with research results as follows: 1) Implementation of online learning in the spiritual realm based on the results of the above interview can it can be concluded that the achievement of online learning in the spiritual realm runs optimally, 2) the implementation of online learning in the realm of attitudes based on the results of the interview above, it can be concluded that the achievement of online learning in the realm of attitudes runs optimally, and 3) the implementation of online learning in the realm of skills based on the results of interviews can it can be concluded that the achievement of online learning in the realm of skills received by students has maximum results. It can be concluded that the implementation of learning during the COVID-19 pandemic for elementary school teachers with maximum achievements.

Abstract

Teaching materials are one of the important factors in the effectiveness of learning, especially at the Higher Education level. Lack of teaching materials can certainly affect the quality of learning or lectures. The purpose of developing this module is 1) to increase students' understanding of the three characteristics of student soldiers which will be developed in learning courses so that students really animate, interpret and can implement them in everyday life on campus and outside campus, ) to determine the feasibility level of the developed teaching materials. This type of research is research and development research. Development refers to the ADDIE development model (analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation). Based on the overall product assessment by material and learning experts, a score of X = 265 was obtained, which was included in the "Very Good" score criteria. While the overall product assessment by media experts obtained a score of X = 167, which is included in the "Very Good" score criteria. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Course Review Horay model in learning science in elementary schools. The method in this research uses qualitative research with data collection techniques, namely literature studies. Data collection used is by collecting, checking information or data about the findings that are different from books, proposals, various articles and journals that apply. Data that has been obtained, researched, and centered inside and outside efficiently and basically then described in a narrative. From the results of the research analysis showed that the value of the activeness and activities of students in science learning showed that there were differences in the understanding of students between cycle I and cycle II. That is, from several studies that have been applied using the Course Review Horay model, it shows that the learning effectiveness that students already have shows that they are less active in cycle I and in cycle II indicate an active category. Based on the literature study, it can be concluded that the CRH model can make it easier for students to learn, is able to make students interested or happy to learn science learning materials and this CRH model is very effective in being applied in elementary

Abstract

Javanese script is one of the subjects that is considered quite difficult for elementary school students. The conventional way of teaching teachers is one of the contributing factors. The use of learning media using educational games is one solution for teachers in teaching. Puzzles are a form of innovation that can be used to stimulate children's brains. Playing while learning will make children more interested so that children will not feel bored quickly. The aims of this study are: (a) To find out the mechanism of using Puzzle Carakan media in learning to write Javanese script. (b) To find out how the effect of using Puzzle Carakan media in learning write Javanese characters. This type of research uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The data analysis technique used is by analyzing student answers, as well as comparing student learning outcomes before learning to use Puzzle Carakan and after using Puzzle Carakan.

Abstract

Abstract: Based on the needs analysis carried out by the researchers at SDN Gadingkulon II, researchers obtained information that students had difficulty understanding material during the pandemic, students were also less enthusiastic about carrying out online learning, students were late in collecting and doing assignments. This is because the material provided is in the form of documents in the form of pdf, doc and Power Point. Questions given through the googleform platform. With these problems, learning activities during the pandemic cannot run well. Therefore, the problems that exist in the field must be addressed immediately. From the problems above, it can be overcome by developing LPDD based on digital picture stories. The purpose of this research is to develop LKPD teaching materials based on picture stories that can be used as an alternative to teaching materials used during the COVID-19 pandemic that are feasible, practical and effective and in accordance with the characteristics of students. This study uses the ADDIE development model which consists of five steps: Analyze (analyze), Design (design), Develop (development), Implementation (implementation), and Evaluation (evaluation). The subjects of this study were 4th grade students. The data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The final result of the research shows that the validation results can be said to be feasible where the validation results from material experts get a validity level of 85.5% of these results have entered the valid or feasible type. which of these results can also be said to be valid or feasible to be tested. Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to improve social studies learning outcomes in class V SD Negeri Sriwedari No.197 Surakarta by using edmodo-based m-learning media. The research was held at SD Negeri Sriwedari No.197 Surakarta. The target of this study was the fifth grade students of the 2018/2019 academic year, which amounted to 26 students. The classroom action research mechanism takes place in 2 cycles with one meeting, in each cycle there are 4 stages, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. Data collection used is test and non-test (observation and documentation). Validation is used with 3 methods, namely test, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique in this study uses simple statistics.Based on the implementation of the pre-cycle on social studies subjects with material appreciating the services and role of the figure of struggle in preparing for Indonesian independence by using edmodo-based m-learning media not yet seen from 26 students only 4 students who completed KKM so that the percentage reached 15.38% with average scores - average 51.51. In cycle 1, the percentage of completeness was successful, which was 11.84% but the average value increased by 55.35. Cycle 2 experienced an increase of 26 students, only 5 students or 19.23% who did not achieve completeness, and 21 students or 80.76% achieved completeness according to KKM, namely 70. Thus, the use of edmodo-based m-learning media is appropriately applied in social studies learning especially material that appreciates the services and role of the struggle figure in preparing for Indonesian independence which has an impact on increasing teacher activities, student activities, and learning outcomes of class V SD Negeri Sriwedari No.197 Surakarta .
