Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of transportation policies in the maintenance of public street lighting (PJU) in Sukabumi City, PJU is a very important public facility to support the safety and comfort of road users at night. Therefore, PJU maintenance must be carried out optimally in accordance with applicable policies. This research used qualitative method with descriptive approach, data collection technique through field observation, interview, and documentation. Informants were determined by non-probability sampling technique and snowball sampling method. This research uses the theory of Van Meter Van Horn (1975). The results of this study indicate that the implementation of transportation administration policies in maintaining PJU in Sukabumi City is still not optimal. Such as budget constraints, lack of coordination between related institutions, and lack of community participation. However, improvement efforts continue to be made to improve the quality of PJU services in Sukabumi City.

Abstract

To reduce the high impact of disaster risk, BPBD Cianjur Regency has made several efforts, one of which is the pre-disaster stage, namely disaster mitigation. This research aims to analyze natural disasters that often occur in Cianjur Regency and the need for natural disaster mitigation measures in order to minimize the risk or impact caused. The theory used in this research is the role theory proposed by Haroepoetri Arimbi and Santosa (2003). The result of this research is that BPBD Cianjur Regency in the implementation of natural disaster mitigation focuses on non-structural mitigation by running several programs. Overall, the implementation of the mitigation program has been running well but has not been maximized due to the limited budget and the vast area of Cianjur Regency, making it difficult for BPBD to run and develop natural disaster mitigation programs in all areas of Cianjur Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the priority village program for preventing stunting in Cisaat Sub-District, Sukabumi Regency. The urgency of this study is driven by the lack of public awareness about the importance of avoiding stunting, inefficiencies in aid distribution, and the shortage of posyandu (integrated health service posts) supervisors to regularly monitor the growth of toddlers. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a snowball sampling technique and six informants. The result of this research is that the priority village program for stunting prevention has not been maximally implemented, due to the inability to conduct examinations by stunting experts, lack of human resources, inadequate facilities and infrastructure, and low public understanding of the importance of stunting prevention. The study recommends the need for training and capacity building for health workers, ensuring the availability of facilities and infrastructure, increasing the number of human resources for comprehensive and effective monitoring, and enhancing communication and coordination among all parties. Innovative approaches in community outreach are also required to raise awareness about the importance of stunting prevention.

Abstract

This research focuses on the quality of service provided by the Integrated Police Service Center (SPKT) of Sukabumi City Police. The purpose of this study was to determine and describe the services provided by the Integrated Police Service Center (SPKT) of Sukabumi City Police in handling public complaints. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection through observation, interviews and documentation. The theory used in this research is Zeithaml et al (1988) with five dimensions namely (1) tangibles, (2) reliability, (3) responsiveness, (4) assurance, and (5) empathy. In this study, researchers used non-probability sampling and purposive sampling techniques to determine informants. The results of this study indicate that based on the five dimensions, the tangibles aspect shows quite good quality even though there are still weaknesses in terms of infrastructure such as service rooms and parking lots that are still limited. The reliability dimension is quite reliable, but there is still room to improve several things such as the delivery of clearer information regarding procedures, flow, and requirements for making reports. Meanwhile, the dimensions of responsiveness, assurance, and empathy show good results with improvements.

Abstract

In the era of globalization, manufacturing companies face challenges in maintaining employee loyalty amidst cultural diversity. The phenomenon of low employee loyalty is evident from high turnover rates, absenteeism, and non-compliance with company regulations. This study aims to analyze the influence of cross-cultural leadership and organizational culture on employee loyalty, with job satisfaction as a mediating variable in the manufacturing industry in Cianjur Regency. The method used is descriptive analysis with a population of 8,400 employees. The sample selection was carried out randomly and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with a sample size of 200 respondents. The results of the study indicate that cross-cultural leadership does not have a significant direct effect on employee loyalty, but it has a significant impact on job satisfaction. Organizational culture has a significant effect on both employee loyalty and job satisfaction. Job satisfaction is proven to mediate the effect of cross-cultural leadership and organizational culture on employee loyalty. These findings underscore the importance of leadership that can manage cultural diversity and a positive organizational culture in creating job satisfaction, ultimately enhancing employee loyalty. This research provides insights for manufacturing companies in Cianjur to focus on leadership and organizational culture aspects to improve employee loyalty through job satisfaction.

Abstract

This research is about the E-Readiness of the Berau Regency Population and Civil Registration Service in public services using the Si Penyu Beramal application. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach, involving observation, interviews and documentation studies. The results show that electronic readiness is considered sufficient, with several factors influencing it, such as telecommunications infrastructure, connectivity, use of information technology, adequate budget, governing laws, and paradigm changes by employees. The main obstacle is the shift from offline to online systems and the failure to achieve three performance targets. Suggestions include improving infrastructure, human resource training, efficient budget management, and outreach to the community.
