Abstract

Tawang Beach has potency as a tourism destination in Pacitan District, East Java. Unique type of beach and the existence of Fish Auction are tourist attractions available on the beach. JLS and technological developments have contributed to the increase in the number of tourist visits. Studies on the suitability and carrying capacity of the environment in Tawang Beach as beach tourism are important to support development and proper management. Assessment of suitability area uses quantitative assessment instruments, based on parameters of water depth, beach type, beach width, substrat material, current velocity, slope, brightness, coastal land cover, dangerous organism, and availability of fresh water. Analysis of the carrying capacity of the area uses calculations according to the area of Tawang Beach and the range time visitors enjoying the beach. The results of the analysis show that Tawang Beach is suitable (S1) to be developed as a beach tourism area with a value of 80-84.16%. The total carrying capacity of the area is 205 people/day

Abstract

Indonesia has extensive degraded land to be rehabilitated. This study aimed to analyze the species diversity and composition of seedlings for land rehabilitation in Kapuas Watershed, the reasons for species selection, and the location of seedling plantation and to compare the species compostion of seedlings for rehabilitation of degraded lnad in Kapuas Watershed dan Serayu-Opak-Progo Watershed. Three-year (2015-2016-2017) data of seedlings were gathered through questionnaire to Kapuas Watershed Management Agency. The data were analyzed quantitatively using a statistical software called Past. The results showed that the species richness of seedlings ecah year ranged from 15-25 eitth a total of total species of 34, consisting of 24 native species and 10 introduced. The Simpson dominance index (D) was 0.19-0.93, Simpson diversity index (1-D) 0.07- 0.81, and Shannon diversity index (H’) 0.22-1.97. The selection of species was mostly determined by its high availability and most of the seedlings were planted in forest area. The composition of seedling species in Kapuas Watershed had low similarity with that of Serayu-Opak-Progo Watershed. The resulted vegetation would have moderately diverse species.

Abstract

Currently, many city parks have been renovated but have lost their face, because the design is done instantly, making it difficult to recognize their origins, city parks develop into recreation areas without leaving traces of their history. Departing from the above thoughts, this research was conducted as an effort to map the characteristics of the city park with the study case of Taman Suropati. Taman Suropati has been renovated so that it has lost its face, the design is done instantly, it becomes difficult to recognize its origin, the city park develops into a place of recreation without leaving traces of its history. Departing from the above thoughts, this research was conducted as an effort to map the characteristics of the city park as a city identity, with a case study in Taman Suropati. Currently Taman Suropati has undergone 100% change from its previous form as an identity. Suropati Park was previously a soccer field, no origins or historical traces of the park were found.No trace of the park's history was found, making it difficult to recognize that the park was previously a soccer field.soccer field.Currently Taman Suropati has undergone 100% change from its previous form as an identity. A hidden soccer player sculpture cannot be a clue to the origin of the park, the absence of markers that provide information about the origin of the park makes visitors lose track of the origin of Taman Suropati. But on the other hand with the diversity of facilities that are provided. Taman Suropati is able to build vitality for the area, as well as culinary tours at night, Taman Suropati has been able to become a generator for its environment. From this description, Taman Suropati can become an identity within the framework of the environment or medium level, namely as a place identity. The results showed that the city park can be a city identity in various contexts, namely the global context (provincial level), the context of urban planning or macro level (region), the context of the environmental framework as a place identity. Abstract

Ruang terbuka hijau dapat diterapkan pada jalur pejalan kaki untuk mendukung kegiatan pada jalur pejalan kaki. Dalam Kawasan perumahan Peruri Karawang ruang terbuka hijau dibutuhkan bagi masyarakat. Selain sebagai area interaksi ruang terbuka yang ada juga dapat bermanfaat sebagai pembentuk iklim mikro bagi lingkungannya. Fenomena yang terjadi pada jalur pejalan kaki di Perumahan Peruri Karawang ialah kurang adanya konsep penataan lanskap yang jelas sehingga ruang tersebut tidak berfungsi secara maksimal baik dilihat dari segi fungsinya maupun estetika. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah melakukan identifikasi terhadap pemanfaatan jalur pejalan kaki pada Kawasan Perumahan Peruri Karawang. Dikarenakan sering terjadinya pemanfaatan yang tidak seharusnya terjadi di jalur pejalan kaki. Metode pengumpulan data primer dan sekunder melalui survey lapangan dan studi literatur. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pada jalur pejalan kaki terdapat beberapa pemanfaatan yang tidak sesuai fungsinya sehingga menurunkan kualitas jalur pejalan kaki baik fungsi maupun estetikanya. Maka dari itu diperlukan konsep penataan yang tepat pada area jalur pejalan kaki tersebut agar memiliki fungsi yang baik dan kualitas estetika yang baik.

Abstract

Penelitian  ini  bertujuan  untuk mengetahui  kesesuaian lahan tambak udang di wilayah pesisir Kabupaten Kaur. Sampel pengamatan sebanyak 21 tambak wilayah pesisir Kabupaten Kaur pada tahun 2019. Parameter pengukuran meliputi aspek tanah (topografi dan jenis tanah), Kualitas dan Sumberdaya Air (suhu air, pH air dan jarak dari pantai) dan Iklim (curah hujan), sedangkan analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil  penelitian  diketahui bahwa dari 133 ha tambak udang, terdapat 15 tambak (71,42%) yang tidak sesuai  berada di Kecamatan Kaur Tengah (T1, T1), Kecamatan Tetap (T3), Kecamatan Kaur Selatan (T4, T5, T7, T8, T10, T11, T12, T13, T14, T15), Kecamatan Maje (T16), dan Kecamatan Nasal (T21), sedangkan 6 tambak (28,58%) sesuai berada di Kecamatan Kaur Selatan (T6, T9) dan Kecamatan Maje (T17, T18, T19, T20). Ketidaksesuaian lahan tambak ini karena bertentangan dengan Peraturan Presiden Nomor 51 Tahun 2016 Tentang Batas Sempadan Pantai dan Perda No.04 Tahun 2012 tentang Rencana Tata Ruang Wilayah Kabupaten Kaur Tahun 2012-2032, Pasal 21 angka (2) disebutkan bahwa kawasan sempadan pantai berupa kawasan daratan sepanjang tepian laut dengan jarak paling sedikit 100 (seratus) meter dari titik pasang air laut tertinggi ke arah daratan. Dengan demikian 15 tambak berada di sepadan pantai dan 6 tambak di luar sepadan pantai.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengelolaan sampah padat (medis dan non medis) di Rumah Sakit Hasanuddin Damrah Manna berdasarkan kriteria Kepmenkes RI No.1204/Menkes/SK/X/2004 tentang persyaratan kesehatan lingkungan rumah sakit. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Rumah Sakit Hasanuddin Damrah Manna Kabupaten Bengkulu Seletan. Waktu penelitian pada bulan Agustus sampai dengan Oktober 2019. Metode penelitian menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data pengelolaan sampah padat dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dengan supervisi pengelolaan sampah dan petugas pengelolaan Sampah sebanyak 15 orang. Selanjutnya penilaian kesesuaian pengelolaan sampah di Rumah Sakit Hasanudin Damrah Kota Manna dengan acuan standar Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan RI No.1204/Menkes/SK/X/2004. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan sampah Rumah Sakit Hasanuddin Damrah Manna masih belum sepenuhnya sesuai dengan Kepmenkes RI No.1204/Menkes/SK/X/2004. Aspek pemilahan, pengumpulan, dan pengangkutan masih tergolong “cukup sesuai, sedangkan aspek penyimpanan dan pengolahan sudah sesuai dengan Kepmenkes RI No.1204/Menkes/SK/X/2004

Abstract

Curah hujan yang tinggi dapat menyebabkan terjadinya banjir. Kota Bengkulu yang berada di bagian hilir DAS Air Bengkulu, selama beberapa tahun terakhir mengalami kejadian banjir, khususnya di Kecamatan Muara Bangkahulu dan Sungai Serut. Penelitian ini mengkaji karakteristik curah hujan pada DAS Air Bengkulu saat terjadi banjir selama 10 tahun (2010-2019). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Pendekatan Wilayah untuk menentukan karakteristik curah hujan yang dapat menyebabkan banjir di Kota Bengkulu dan metode analisis statistik, yaitu Principal Component Analysis (PCA). Dalam penelitian ini juga menghitung periode ulang curah hujan maksimum dengan menggunakan perhitungan metode Iway Kadoya dan proyeksi curah hujan menggunakan data ECMWF. Penelitian ini menggunakan software ArcGis/ArcMap 10.4.1, Past4.03, OpenGrADS, Microsoft Excel dan Microsoft Word. Hasil analisis dari 13 kali kejadian banjir selama tahun 10 tahun (2010-2019), pada saat banjir rata-rata curah hujan masuk dalam kategori hujan Lebat (>50 mm) per hari dengan jumlah curah hujan di bagian Hilir DAS Air Bengkulu lebih tinggi dibandingkan pada bagian hulu. Curah hujan yang paling berpengaruh terhadap banjir, yaitu curah hujan pada hari H kejadian banjir. Hasil perhitungan periode ulang hujan maksimum dengan metode Iway Kadoya memperoleh nilai curah hujan berkisar antara 117 - 584 mm dan terdapat 4 pos hujan yang memiliki periode ulang hujan maksimum dalam rentang waktu yang sama, yaitu 20 tahunan. Peluang terjadi banjir di Kota Bengkulu dalam 5 tahun ke depan sebanyak 5 kali berdasarkan hasil analisis proyeksi curah hujan dasarian.

Abstract

There are more tofu industries in Indonesia, which means there is more waste from these sectors that need specific handling. If tofu waste with a high organic matter concentration is disposed of untreated, it might have detrimental effects on the water supply. The purpose of this study was to investigate efficient techniques for using filtration media to treat tofu waste. Combining bioball and bioring media is the primary media layout in the filtration column. The tofu industry in Sepande Village, Candi District, Sidoarjo Regency, provided the tofu waste. Each column's filtration medium has a total height of 20 cm and a 1.5-liter wastewater capacity. The results showed an improvement in the quality of tofu wastewater after treatment. Filtration media using bioballs and bioring proved effective by looking at the results of waste treatment after filtration in the form of increased pH, decreased aggressive CO2, reduced turbidity, and decreased BOD. Abstract

Penajam Paser Utara and parts of Kutai Kartanegara, East Kalimantan regions were selected as the location of the relocation of the National Capital of Indonesia. Significant land use changes have occurred since 2000 until 2023 and potentially affect changes in the carrying capacity of the protected function from before and current development. This study aims to determine the carrying capacity of the protected function in the development area of the Nusantara Capital City (IKN). The study results show that the carrying capacity of the protected function in the Nusantara Capital City area in 2000 resulted in a value of 0.42 while in 2023 it resulted in a value of 0.50. Both values are in moderate condition where in 2000 it was dominated by shrubs while in 2023 it has an increase in land area in the form of plantation forests that dominate the Nusantara Capital City area and the expansion of agricultural land as well as settlements and other buildings.   Keywords: Carrying Capacity of The Protected Function, Nusantara Capital City, Land-use Change

Abstract

The aim of the research is to develop charcoal briquettes made from a mixture of water hyacinth and coconut shells. This research approaches product development with stages: selecting raw materials, drying raw materials, charring, cleaning charcoal from impurities, making charcoal powder, binding charcoal powder, pressing and printing, and drying briquettes and characterization of the results. The equipment used includes: digital balance, ruler, vernier caliper, pressing and printing tools, oven, drum as a container for processing raw materials, smoothing or grinding tools, 80 mesh sieve, and LPG cylinder and stove. The ingredients used are water hyacinth (Eichhornia crassipes), coconut shell, starch or tapioca flour, and water. This research produced samples of 4 types of percentage composition composition between coconut shell and water hyacinth composition I (0% : 90%); II (25% : 65%); III (45% : 45%); and IV (65% : 25%) with the same percentage of adhesive for each composition, namely 10%. Compositions IV, III, II, and I show density values in order from largest to smallest, namely 0.5474 g/cm3; 0.5448 g/cm3; 0.4761 g/cm3; and 0.4126 g/cm3. Compositions II, III, I, and IV show the water content values in order from smallest to largest, namely 7.7556%; 7.8040%; 8.0366%; and 9.6544%. Compositions III, IV, II, and I show the combustion rate values in order from largest to smallest, namely 0.335 g/minute; 0.255 g/min; 0.230 g/min; and 0.202 g/min. Recommended ongoing research with the aim of optimizing the results of international standard charcoal briquettes; and expanding its usefulness, both for energy needs, supporting community economic growth as well as for environmental conservation.
