Abstract

Peran  suami  dalam  rangka  perencanaan  persalinan  akan  membantu  ibu  secara psikologis, dan  mental.  Seorang  suami  perlu melakukan perencanaan bukan hanya dimana akan melakukan persalinan, tetapi juga menyediakan biaya persalinan, rencana adanya komplikasi persalinan, menyediakan rencana pendonor, dan juga fasilitas penunjang lainnya. Dukungan  suami  menjadi  penting manakala  dewasa  ini  masih  banyak  suami yang  tidak  memberikan  akses  kesehatan  dan kebutuhan  ibu  selama  kehamilan,  persalinan dan nifas. Suami di indonesi masih memiliki peranan yang sangat besar dalam menentukan keputusan  dalam  keluarga.  Manakala  suami yang  memberikan  dukungan  tentu  ibu  dan anak akan memperoleh hak-hak yang layak.

Abstract

Unmet need merupakan salah hal yang menimbulkan adanya kehamilan yang tidak diinginkan sehingga dapat memicu terjadinya aborsi. Tindakan aborsi turut menyumbang jumlah kematian ibu dan anak, untuk itu diperlukan metode yang dapat digunakan untuk mengatur jumlah dan jarak anak yang di­­­­i­nginkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan unmet need KB pada Pasangan Usia Subur di Kecamatan Padang Barat Kota Padang Tahun 2015. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan desain cross sectional  pada 152 Pasangan Usia Subur di bulan Mei-Oktober 2015. Pengolahan data menggunakan uji chi-square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara dukungan suami (p=0,014) dengan unmet need KB. Pendidikan, pekerjaan, jumlah anak hidup, pengetahuan  dan sikap responden tentang KB tidak terdapat hubungan yang bermakna dengan unmet need KB. Perlu adanya upaya yang melibatkan dukungan suami dalam rangka  menurunkan angka unmed need KB di Kecamatan Padang Barat. Kata Kunci: unmed need, Dukungan Suami

Abstract

Plaque is caused of the caries and periodontal deseases. Plaque can be cleaned up by mechanization that is brushing teeth. The data show that decline in behave right of brushing teeth from 6.2% in 2007 become 1.7% in 2013. Best on the kinds of the movement of tooth brusing, there are six methode. Every techniques of brushing teeth having a overbalance and shortage. The objective research is knowing the differences plaque index of brushing teeth a combination of techniques roll and horizontal with a combination techniques vertical and horizontal to grade IV – V students in SDN 08 Kubang Duo Koto Panjang. The methode research is quasi experiment with pretest and postest approach. Technique sampling is random sampling as many as 54 people. Data retrival through observation dan treatment. The analysis data statistic with T-Test showed the significant difference between plaque index of brushing teeth a combination of techniques roll and horizontal with a combination techniques vertical and horizontal with p value 0,03. A combination of techniques roll and horizontal is more effectivly lowering plaque. Suggestion for the students to apply tooth brushing a combination of techniques roll and horizontal routinely every day 2 times to prevent the oral deseases.

Abstract

Using of hearing protection equipment (HPE) as a preventive measure to prevent the hearing disorder so that it will not be worse. Many ground handling workers of Kualanamu International Airport are not wearing HPE while working at workplaces with niose intensities > 85 dB. This study aims to find out the use of HPE on workers’ hearing disorder. The study used quantitative method with cross sectional design. The population of this study amounted to 128 people. The samples taken in this study amounted to 55 people by using simple random sampling technique. Samples were 20-40 years old and had no history of ear disease. The use of HPE data were gathered with questionnaires and hearing function disorder with Audiometry. Data analyzed by using bivariate analysis with Chi-Square test (α=0.05). The result of the research showed that 21 respondents (38.2%) did not use HPE and and 36 respondents (65.5%) had hearing disorder. The result of bivariate analysis showed that there is a significant correlation between HPE usage with hearing disorder (p=0.001; OR=11.600; 95% CI=3.121-43.120). The conclusion of this study is that hearing protective equipment is a factor affecting hearing disorder, so it is advisable to ground handling workers to always wear earplugs while working in areas with noise above TLV.

Abstract

The quality of drinking water in the drinking water refill depot (DAMIU) is still low. Based on the results of bacteriological testing conducted by Puskesmas in Tanjungpinang 2015, it is known that 5 samples drinking water refill (AMIU) containing coliform bacteria. This study aims to know bacteriological quality in drinking water refill and determine Factors of Hygiene sanitasion DAMIU that associated with AMIU’s bacteriological quality in Tanjungpinang city. The study design was a cross sectional study with sample of 30 DAMIU in Tanjungpinang. Sample selection is done by proportional random sampling. Data were analyzed using Chi square test. The results showed that 20% AMIU containing germs total , but for E.coli, 100% not containing. Building sanitation, processing tools sanitation and galon sanitation most of drinking water refill already eligible and not related with germs total number, only Operator hygiene that 53% eligible and related with germs total number (p value 0,017). The study conclude that 20% AMIU containing germs total. Operator hygiene factor related with germs total. To prevent the presence of germs in drinking water refill, the operator should apply hygiene behaviour and have certificate of seminar and training about hygiene and sanitary processing of DAMIU

Abstract

sexually transmitted infection (STI) remains a major health problem in some parts of the world. This study aimed to determine the host and environmental factors the effect on the incidence of cervicitis on sex workers. The study was observational case-control design with consecutive sampling technique. Risk factor for cervicitis is a history of sexually transmitted infections (p=0,0001), have couple (boy friend) different gender (p=0,014, OR=4,4; CI95%=1,3-14,3), history of oral sex/cunnilingus (p=0,003, OR=6,8;CI95%=1,9-24,8), smokers (p=0,0001, CI95%=5,6; CI95%=2,4-13,1). Condom use last sex behavior is a protective factor affecting the incidence of cervicitis (p=0,0001, OR= 0,198; CI95 %=0,07- 0,5). The conclusion of this study is to prevent servisitis at-risk groups of commercial sex workers it should avoid from exposure of agents that cause sexually transmitted infections, does not have a spouse who is not authorized (girlfriend) that leads to sex behavior, avoid behaviors oral sex / cunnilingus, no smoke. At-risk behavior should use condoms for prevention servisitis

Abstract

Imunisasi merupakan upaya pencegahan penyakit, Cakupan imunisasi di Indonesia tahun 2013 sebesar 59,2%, sedangkan target renstra (88%), di Sumbar 84,51% dan di Kota Padang 84,8%. Penelitian ini berujuan untuk mengetahui faktor yang mempengaruhi pemberian imunisasi dasar lengkap. Desain penelitian ini adalah cross sectional yang dilaksanakan di Kecamatan Kuranji. Sampel penelitian 80 orang diambil secara accidental sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara dan observasi. Analisis data secara univariat, bivariat dan multivariat. Hasil analisis univariat diperoleh 47,50% imunisasi tidak lengkap, berpendidikan rendah 5%, bekerja 30%, berpengetahuan rendah 48,75%, sikap negatif 50%, pelayanan kesehatan kurang 10%, hambatan 18,75% dan motivasi kurang 40%. Hasil analisis bivariat diperoleh p-value pengetahuan (0,007), sikap (0,014), motivasi (0,001), informasi (0,04), pendidikan (0,34), pekerjaan (0,66), pelayanan kesehatan (0,47), hambatan (0,43) tidak memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan pemberian imunisasi. Hasil analisis multivariat diperoleh p-value variabel motivasi=0,0001. Pengetahuan, sikap dan motivasi orang tua serta informasi tentang imunisasi merupakan faktor yang mempengaruhi kelangkapan pemberian imunisasi dasar pada bayi, oleh karena itu diisarankan kepada petugas kesehatan agar meningkatkan promosi kesehatan terutama tentang imunisasi.Kata Kunci: Pengetahuan, Sikap, Motivasi, Informasi Kesehatan

Abstract

One deposit/layers that accumulated and are attached to the surface of the tooth is debris. Debris index can be influenced by a kind of food edible. Consumedthe food are fibrous and watery like fruits is self-cleansing. Consumefibrous fruits and contain many water like apple, pineapple and carambola can help cleaning debris on the surface of the tooth.The methodology is research sample experiment with 60 students, level I of nursing teeth (20 chewing apple, 20 chewing pineapple, 20  chewing carambola). The sample in purpose sampling from the analysis test anova one way. The results of the study the difference of debris index is apple 1,1, pineapple 1,1 and carambola 1.09. Results test one way anova value p = 0.000 it means there are a differences the decline in debris index chewing with the apple, pineapple and carambola. Conclusions is apples and pineapple better in lowering debris index than carambola. Was recomended to respondents to consume fibrous fruit and watery after eating and to daily because pure the surface of the tooth naturally.

Abstract

The earlier age for dating among teenagers has an impact to increase the chance of sexual behavior. This study aimed to identify the factors related to sexual behavior among teenager dating in Denpasar City. This study was observational analytic with cross-sectional approach. Sample size was 880 students dating with sampling technique using nonprobability sampling. This study showed the proportion of teenager who had risky sexual behavior was 22,1%. Factors related to risky sexual behavior among teenager dating were aged >15 years old (OR=3,0; 95%CI=1,9-4,8; p<0,001), male (OR=3,0; 95%CI=2,2-4,2; p<0,001), education level of senior high school compared to junior high school (OR=3,9; 95%CI =2,4-6,2; p<0,001), education level of vocational high school compared to junior high school (OR=2,4; 95%CI =1,5-3,9; p=0,001), private school (OR=2,2; 95%CI=1,6-3,1; p<0,001), never accessed to health reproductive information (OR=2,0; 95%CI =1,3-3,0; p=0,001), accessed to pornography content (OR=4,1; 95%CI=2,8-6,1; p<0,001), lack of knowledge (OR=1,7; 95%CI=1,2-2,4; p=0,006), and lack of attitude (OR=3,1; 95%CI=2,2-4,5; p<0,001). There were relationship between age, sex, educational level, school status, the access of health reproductive information, the access to pornography content, knowledge, and attitude toward risky sexual behavior. Giving information comprehensively regarding reproductive and sexual health is essential approach through involving active participation from parents and teachers.

Abstract

Rokok merupakan permasalahan besar pada sepuluh tahun belakangan ini. Terdapat 4,9 juta kematian setiap tahunnya, dimana 70% dari jumlahnya terjadi di negara berkembang (TCSC-IAKMI 2008). Universitas Andalas telah menetapkan kebijakan larangan merokok di lingkungan kampus pada tahun 2011, kebijakan ini merupakan langkah untuk melindungi  perokok pasif dari paparan asap rokok orang lain. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan informasi yang mendalam mengenai implementasi kebijakan larangan mero­kok di Universitas Andalas tahun 2012. Desain penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Teknik penentuan informan dilakukan secara purposive sampling dengan jumlah informan 17 orang.  Data dikumpulkan dengan cara wawancara mendalam, focus group discussion (FGD) dan observasi, dan kemudian diolah dengan triangulasi data, sumber dan metode. Hasil penelitian menujukan bahwa dari sisi input yaitu tenaga, sarana dan dana belum memadai, sedangkan dari segi proses, implementasi kebijakan larangan merokok belum optimal dilakukan, karena masih terdapat permasalahan yang disebabkan oleh tidak adanya pengawasan dan kejelasan tanggungjawab untuk mengawasi kebijakan ini. Disarankan agar selanjutnya Universitas Andalas menyediakan alokasi dana dan memperjelas alur tanggungjawab pada implementasi kebijakan larangan merokok, serta menetapkan sanksi bagi yang melanggar larangan merokok.
