Abstract

The development of CTL-based interactive video media is motivated by the lack of utilization of media such as videos in the learning process, thus causing a lack of student interest in learning, especially in mathematics subjects. With the use of this media, the learning process becomes more interesting and fun. The purpose of this research is to produce a product in the form of CTL-based interactive video media that is suitable for mathematics subjects on flat building materials. The type of research used is R&D with the 4D model (Define, Design, Development, Dessemination) or called the 4Ps, namely Defining, Planning, Development and Dissemination. This media was validated by media experts and material experts who were then tested on grade 4 Madrasah Ibtidaiyah students totaling 21. The results of the media expert validation obtained an overall average score of 87% with the criteria "Very Good". The results of the material expert validation obtained an overall average score of 78% with "Good" criteria. And the results of class teacher validation in the media field obtained an average score of 79% with the criteria "Good" and in the field of material obtained an average score of 82% with the criteria "Good". While the results of student responses obtained an overall average score of 90% with the criteria "Very Good". So it can be concluded that this CTL-based interactive video is very feasible to use and can increase student learning interest.

Abstract

Abstract This research aims to examine the relationship of the cooperative script method in increasing self-confidence and its impact on public speaking skills. This study used path analysis with 37 students as the sample. Data collection was through a questionnaire to assess learning methods, self-confidence, and public speaking skills. The data were analyzed through linear regression and Sobel tests. The results showed that 1) The cooperative script method had an influence on students' self-confidence; 2) Students' self-confidence had an influence on their public speaking skills; 3) The cooperative script method did not have a significant direct effect on students' public speaking skills so that the cooperative script method has an indirect effect on students' public speaking skills through self-confidence as a mediating variable. Therefore, to improve public speaking skills indirectly, learning methods or models that affect self-confidence are needed because self-confidence is one of the components that can affect students' public speaking skills.

Abstract

Abstract Comics are a series of images created as a learning medium for conveying information. Comic teaching materials are tools used by teachers or instructors in the teaching-learning process to convey information through pictures following stories. The main purpose of this research was to analyze comics as an interesting medium for learning Indonesian Language in elementary school (SD/MI) students. The research method used was library research. The data sources in this research were previous research findings from both national and international journals. The literature reviews were based on existing literature and documentation data. Data analysis from the results of literature and research using qualitative analysis started with data reduction, display, conclusion, and data verification. The research results showed that the use of comics as a learning medium was very suitable for helping students, especially SD/MI students, to understand and achieve the goals of learning Indonesian language. However, it needs to prepare teaching materials in comic form. The images in comics must be arranged carefully so as not to make information overwhelm students' imaginations. Various images in comics help students gain an understanding of the objectives to be achieved in the subject. Therefore, learning media in the form of comics can be used as an alternative to Indonesian language learning process for elementary students.
