Abstract

This study aims to explain the forms of difficulties experienced by students in solving story problems in fractional material and their causal factors in terms of gender. The indicator of the problem solving steps used is the Polya step. The research subjects were fourth grade students at SD Negeri 1 Tanggeran for the 2021/2022 academic year. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The data sources in this study were fourth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Tanggeran. The research subjects were two male students and two female students. The data collection techniques used were interviews and document studies. The validity test technique used is time triangulation and technical triangulation. The data analysis technique used is the Miles and Huberman model analysis technique. The results of this study indicate (1) The forms of difficulties experienced by male students are difficulties in planning problem solving and difficulties in solving problems according to plan. (2) The forms of difficulties experienced by female students are difficulties in planning problem solving and difficulties in solving problems according to plan. (3) Factors causing difficulties experienced by male and female students.Keywords: Difficulty, Problem Solving, Gender, Elementary School.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the intensity of the HOTS content in the second grade teacher book theme 7 "Togetherness" and the fourth grade teacher book theme 1 "The Beauty of Togetherness". This research is a qualitative research with the type of document analysis. The data sources of this research are the thematic learning assessment instruments in the second grade teacher book theme 7 "Togetherness" and the fourth grade teacher book theme 1 "The Beauty of Togetherness". The data collection technique used in this research is a documentary study. The data validity test technique used triangulation techniques and increased persistence. Data analysis techniques used the interactive model of Milles and Hubberman with the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results of this study are the assessment instruments in the class II teacher's book theme 7 "Togetherness" with the HOTS category, namely a total of 12 instruments or 27.3% of the total number of assessment instruments. The assessment instrument in the fourth grade teacher's book theme 1 "The Beauty of Togetherness" with the HOTS category is 17 instruments or 51.5% of the total number of assessment instruments.

Abstract

The results of this study indicate that during the pandemic students' learning motivation decreases. If this is allowed to continue, it will have a negative impact on the future of Indonesian education. So it takes the role of the educator as a teacher and as a motivator in various ways so that it is expected to be able to increase student learning motivation. Based on the research that has been done and the explanations presented, it can be concluded that there are several roles played by the teacher in increasing the learning motivation of the students of SD Negeri Setono during the covid-19 pandemic, including 1) the teacher as a demonstrator, the teacher always studies and prepares material. 2) The educator as a class manager, the teacher creates a comfortable atmosphere and conducts active learning. 3) The teacher, as a mediator, the teacher chooses the learning media according to the student's learning needs. 4) teachers as facilitators, teachers understand and provide facilities to students. 5) the teacher as an evaluator, the educator evaluates by giving assignments, holding tests, and giving homework. 6) the teacher as a motivator, instils a sense of enthusiasm and also provides motivation in various ways .

Abstract

This study aims to describe the ability to use sentences based on sentence structure on the skills of writing interview texts for fourth grade students of SD Negeri Tegalsari. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with reports on the results of student interviews. The sampling technique in this research is the research subject. Data collection techniques used interviews, documentation studies, and observation. Validity test data using source triangulation techniques and triangulation techniques. The data analysis technique uses imperative analysis which includes four stages, namely: (1) data collection, (2) data reduction, (3) data presentation, (4) drawing conclusions. The percentage of errors in the use of subject indicators (19.23%), predicate indicators (13.46%), object indicators (8.65%), information indicators (45.2%), and complementary indicators (13.46%). The causes of errors in the use of sentences based on sentence structure in the reports of student interviews include: (1) lack of understanding of students on the selection and use of appropriate sentences, (2) lack of application of strategies in teaching sentence structure by teachers. The teacher's effort to overcome this is by giving exercises to students so that students are accustomed to communicating using standard language, both spoken and written.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the character education value of love for the homeland at Mangkubumen Kidul Surakarta. This research is a qualitative research. The subjects of this study were students of class IVB Elementary School Mangkubumen Kidul Surakarta, totaling six student respondents. Data collection techniques in this study used interviews, observations, and questionnaires. The validity of the data in this study used technical and time triangulation. Data analysis used the Miles-Huberman interactive analysis model. The results of this study indicate that in the implementation of the character education value of love for the homeland, student respondents can act to accept the diversity with a percentage of 80%; using domestic products with a percentage of 100%; imitate the value of heroism with a percentage of 84%; memorized the national anthem with a percentage of 74%; build a person who likes to learn with a percentage of 87%; and prioritize the public interest over personal or group with a percentage of 49%. Based on the average data obtained, it can be identified that the love of the homeland character education has been implemented very well.Keywords: character education, love for the homeland at elementary school.

Abstract

The aims of this study is to describe the form of difficulty in internalizing concept of cultural ethnic diversity and technical difficulties in implementing the online learning process experienced by fourth grade elementary school students. This research is a qualitative research (case study approach). The subjects of this study were students, teachers, and parents. Data was collected by means of interviews, questionnaires, and document studies. The validity test technique used is triangulation of sources and techniques. Analysis of the data using the analysis model of Miles and Huberman. The results of this study are as follows. First, the form of difficulty in internalizing the concept is the identification of forms of local cultural diversity and providing examples of respect for this diversity caused by eye disorders, lack of interest and motivation, lack of parental attention, home atmosphere is not conducive, the implementation of learning is not in accordance with the lesson plan, and the ability of teachers to diagnose children's learning difficulties is low. Second, technical difficulties in the implementation of online learning are inadequate learning tools and internet quota, low tech ability, teachers don’t use learning models, and teachers use inappropriate learning methods that don’t facilitate online student activity.

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of the study was to determine the implementation of Civics learning on the material "Relationship of Symbols with the Precepts of Pancasila'' and to find out the application of Pancasila values to fourth-grade students of SD Negeri Purwotomo No. 97. This research uses qualitative research using the case study method. The results of the study showed that Civics learning material on the relationship of symbols and Pancasila principles went well and learning took place actively. The implementation of the Pancasila values from the first to the fifth precepts has been going well, from the average results of 20 students or 92% of students have implemented the Pancasila values from the first to the fifth precepts, but there are still some values in the implementation that are not optimal, especially indicators. Opinions in the value of deliberation and representation have also not been carried out optimally because students are not confident in themselves and are afraid of being wrong if their opinion is not right. This there is a need for habituation carried out by parents and guidance by teachers in schools in the application of Pancasila values so that students are accustomed to behaving and behaving in accordance with Pancasila values.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek dengan metode Design Thinking terhadap keterampilan berpikir kreatif dalam pembelajaran IPA pada siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar di Kecamatan Laweyan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Penelitian dilakukan dengan satu kali tes. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD di Kecamatan Laweyan yang berjumlah 56 siswa. Sumber data berasal dari siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes deskripsi. Analisis validitas dan normalitas data menggunakan korelasi product moment dan Uji Kolmogorov-Smirnov melalui aplikasi SPSS 16.0 for windows. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan quasi-experimental yang diterapkan pada Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan uji regresi linier sederhana pada aplikasi SPSS 16.0 diperoleh nilai signifikansi (2-talled) sebesar 0,025 < 0,05 menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek dengan metode Design Thinking terhadap keterampilan berpikir kreatif. Berdasarkan hasil nilai signifikansi tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis kerja (Ha) yang berbunyi “Ada Pengaruh Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek dengan Metode Design Thinking berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif pada pembelajaran IPA kelas IV SD di Kabupaten Laweyan” diterima.The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Project Based Learning with the Design Thinking method on creative thinking skills in science learning in fourth grade elementary school students in Laweyan District. This research is a quantitative research. The study was conducted with one test. The subjects of the research were the fourth grade students of SD in Laweyan District, totaling 56 students. Sources of data come from students. The data collection technique used a description test. Data validity and normality analysis using product moment correlation and Kolmogorov-Smirnov Test through SPSS 16.0 for windows application. This study uses a quasi-experimental approach that is applied to Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The results showed that based on a simple linear regression test on the SPSS 16.0 application, a significance value (2-talled) of 0.025 <0.05 indicates that there is an effect of Project Based Learning with the Design Thinking method on creative thinking skills. Based on the results of the significance value, it can be concluded that the working hypothesis (Ha) which reads "There is an Effect of Project Based Learning with the Design Thinking method has an effect on creative thinking skills in science learning for grade IV SD in Laweyan District" is accepted.

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Penelitian dilakukan dengan satu kali tes. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas V Sekolah Dasar di Kecamatan Laweyan yang berjumlah 51 siswa. Sumber data berasal dari siswa. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan tes beralasan pilihan ganda. Analisis validitas dan normalitas data menggunakan korelasi product moment melalui aplikasi SPSS 16.0 for windows dengan teknik Kolmogorov-Smirnov. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan yang diterapkan adalah Quasi-experimental Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan Uji Regresi Linier Sederhana pada aplikasi SPSS 16.0 diperoleh nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) sebesar 0,013 < 0,05 menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan video animasi terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis. . Kesimpulan penelitian adalah ada pengaruh Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan video animasi terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis pada pembelajaran IPA kelas V Sekolah Dasar di Kecamatan Laweyan.This research objective was to determine the effect of video animation-assisted problem-based learning (PBL) on Fifth grade elementary school critical thinking skills in scientific learning in Laweyan District. This research is a quantitative research. The study was conducted with one test. The research subjects were fifth grade elementary school students in Laweyan district, totaling 51 students. Sources of data come from students. The method of data collecting employed a multiple choice reasoned test. Data validity and normality analysis using product moment correlation through SPSS 16.0 for windows application using Kolmogorov-Smirnov technique. This study uses an approach that is applied is Quasi-experimental Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The results showed that based on the Simple Linear Regression Test on the SPSS 16.0 application, a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.013 < 0.05 indicates that there is an effect of Problem Based Learning (PBL) assisted by animated video on critical thinking skills. The research's conclusion is that there is an effect of Problem Based Learning (PBL) assisted by animated videos on critical thinking skills in science learning for fifth grade elementary school in Laweyan District.

Abstract

The lack of application of student-centred learning causes students to lack understanding of the material they are studying. The impact is the low understanding of students' abilities. Therefore, this classroom action research aims to apply a student-based learning approach using a problem-based learning model to improve students' understanding skills. The method used the Kemmis & Taggart Model Classroom Action Research that every cycle in the research consists of four stages. It is planning, action, observing, and reflecting. This research is carried out in 2 cycles, each containing 2 lessons. The data was from the results of students' cognitive test questions. Based on the results of classroom action research carried out in 2 cycles, it can be concluded that the application of the problem-based learning model can improve the ability to understand the material for Heavy and Light Equipment in Construction Work for class XI students of SMK Negeri 1 Klego. It is proven by the increase in student learning outcomes each cycle. In the first cycle, there was an increase in the percentage of completeness from 40% (pre-cycle) to 66% with an average of 75.4 (sufficient category) after only 69 previously. Then in the second cycle, there was an increase in student completeness to 83% with an average score is 81.7 (good category).
