Abstract

This research entitled Effort to Improve Student Understanding of Concepts in Materials Plant Leaf Structure and Function Through Application of Guided Inquiry in Elementary School fourth grade students Kadulimus 3. This study aims to improve students' understanding of concepts in science learning after using guided inkuri models and want to know the student activity using a model of guided inquiry. Methods This study uses classroom action research. This study was conducted with 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of 2 meetings and consists of four stages, namely: 1) planning, 2) action, 3) observations and 4) reflection. This study also used the instrument of observation and tests. Based on the research results obtained from tests students' understanding of the concept of mastery learning in the first cycle reached 68.29% and the second cycle increased to 87.80%. In addition to the student activity also is increased in the first cycle of 63.41% and 80.48% for the second cycle. Keyword : guided inquiry,learning outcomes, understanding of the concept

Abstract

Gangguan perkembangan berbahasa adalah ketidakmampuan atau keterbatasan dalam menggunakan simbol linguistik untuk berkomunikasi secara verbal atau keterlambatan kemampuan perkembangan bicara dan bahasa anak sesuai kelompok umur, jenis kelamin, adat istiadat, dan kecerdasannya. Oleh sebab itu bila gangguan bicara dan bahasa tidak diterapi dengan tepat akan terjadi gangguan kemampuan membaca, kemampuan verbal, perilaku, penyesuaian psikososial dan kemampuan akademis yang buruk. Orang tua/guru perlu memahami perilaku bermasalah ini sebab “anak yang bermasalah” biasanya tampak di dalam kelas bahkan dia menampakkan perilaku bermasalah itu dalam keseluruhan interaksi dengan lingkungannya. Dengan bahasanya, manusia berkomunikasi untuk bersosialisasi dan menyampaikan hasil pemikirannya. Identifikasi dini keterlambatan bahasa harus memecahkan dua masalah utama yaitu masalah ketersediaan informasi yang dapat dipercaya dari seorang anak pada usia berapa ketika mereka mengalami keterbatasan dalam kemampuan berkomunikasi. Selanjutnya, teknik pengukuran harus cost-effective dengan menghargai waktu secara professional dan secara luas mampu diaplikasikan untuk anak pada berbagai tingkat sosial dan latarbelakang bahasa termasuk bilingual. Masalah kedua adalah pada interpretasi hasil dari proses identifikasi. Banyak anak yang mengalami keterlambatan bahasa pada usia 24 sampai 30 bulan akan mengejar dalam beberapa tahun kemudian dan tidak memerlukan intervensi. Tantangan yang ada adalah dalam mengidentifikasi dan menggunakan informasi lain yang relevan dalam memperbaiki keputusan diagnosis mengenai seorang anak secara individual untuk mencegah gangguan perkembangan yang lebih signifikan.Kata kunci: bahasa, komunikasi, anak  Language development disorders is the inability or limitations in the use of linguistic symbols to communicate verbally or delay the ability of speech and language development of children according to age group, sex, customs, and intelligence. Therefore, when a speech and language disorder is not treated properly there will be disruption reading ability, verbal skills, behavioral, psychosocial adjustment and poor academic ability. Parents / teachers need to understand this problematic behavior because "a problem child" usually appears in the classroom she even revealed that problematic behavior in the overall interaction with the environment. With language, humans communicate for socializing and convey the results of his thoughts. Early identification of language delay must solve two major problems, namely the issue of availability of reliable information of a child at any age when they lack the ability to communicate. Furthermore, the measurement techniques must be cost-effective with respect to professional time, and broadly can be applied to children at various social levels and language backgrounds, including bilingual. The second problem is the interpretation of the results of the identification process. Many children who have language delays at age 24 to 30 months will be pursuing in the next few years and requires no intervention. The challenge is to identify and use other relevant information to improve decisions regarding a child's diagnosis on an individual basis to prevent a more significant developmental disorder.Keywords: language , communication , child

Abstract

Abstrak. Mata pelajaran IPS di Sekolah Dasar dikembangkan sebagai mata pelajaran terintegrasi atau integrative social studies, bukan sebagai pendidikan disiplin ilmu. Tantangan yang dihadapi peserta didik saat ini adalah banyak dan beragamnya masalah-masalah sosial yang harus dihadapi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, oleh sebab itu pembelajaran IPS bertujuan untuk  mengembangkan keterampilan sosial. Namun, mengingat perkembangan siswa SD yang masih dalam tingkat berpikir kongkrit maka disarankan pembelajaran IPS SD menggunakan contoh-contoh masalah sosial yang kongkrit dan yang  mungkin melibatkan pengalaman-pengalaman siswa SD secara langsung. Namun dalam kenyataannya berdasarkan wawancara pada guru-guru SD di kota Serang masih banyak ditemukan kesulitan dalam mengajarkan IPS. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa kemampuan guru-guru di SD belum sesuai dengan tuntutan tujuan pembelajaran IPS. Oleh sebab itu penting kiranya mahasiswa PGSD semester V sebagai calon tenaga pendidik dibekali pengalaman dengan metode simulasi guna mengembangkan literasi informasi pada pembelajaran IPS yang menunjang pada pengembangan karir profesionalnya nanti. Kata kunci: metode simulasi, literasi informasi IPS, dan mahasiswa  Abstract. Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui peningkatan aktivitas kolaboratif mahasiswa pada mata kuliah pendidikan matematika I dengan menerapkan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw berbasis lesson study. Penelitian dilakukan dengan tahapan-tahapan yang berlaku dalam pembelajaran berbasis lesson study yang terdiri dari plan, do dan see. Lokasi penelitian di FKIP UNPAK dengan waktu pelaksanaan antara bulan Mei-Juni 2013. Subyek penelitian mahasiswa S1 Prodi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar (PGSD) semester VI yang mengambil mata kuliah pendidikan matematika I. Pengumpulan data dengan teknik dokumentasi, observasi, wawancara dan angket. Instrumen meliputi : lembar observasi, pedoman wawancara dan angket. Data hasil observasi dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif untuk mengetahui peningkatan aktivitas kolaboratif mahasiswa dalam kerja kelompok. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw berbasis lesson study dapat meningkatkan aktivitas kolaboratif mahasiswa dalam kerja kelompok pada mata kuliah pendidikan matematika I, khususnya pada materi KPK, FPB dan pecahan. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari peningkatan ketercapaian indikator kegiatan lesson study di setiap siklusnya, serta hasil angket respon mahasiswa yang mayoritas menyatakan positif terhadap proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan. Selain itu, hasil wawancara terhadap mahasiswa juga menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw ternyata dapat meningkatkan motivasi mahasiswa untuk belajar secara berkolaborasi. Alangkah baiknya jika para dosen dalam membelajarkan mata kuliah pendidikan matematika 1 mencoba menggunakan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw berbasis lesson study. Kata Kunci: Aktivitas Kolaboratif, Jigsaw, Lesson Study  Abstract. This study aimed to increase collaborative activities of students in the subject of Pendidikan Matematika I by implementing cooperative learning jigsaw-based lesson study. Research carried out by stages that apply in lesson study based learning consisting of plan, do and see. The research location FKIP UNPAK the execution time between the months of May-June 2013. The research subjects S1 Prodi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar (PGSD) VI semester who take courses in mathematics education I. The collection of data by technical documentation, observation, interviews and questionnaires. Instruments include: observation sheets, interview and questionnaire. Data were analyzed descriptively qualitative observations to determine an increase in collaborative activity of students in group work. The results showed the application of cooperative learning jigsaw-based lesson study can increase the activity of students in the collaborative group work in mathematics education courses I, in particular on the material KPK, FPB and fractions. It can be seen from the increase in activity indicators lesson study achievement in each cycle, and the results of questionnaire responses that the majority of students expressed positive towards their lessons. Moreover, interviews conducted on college students also shows that the type cooperative learning jigsaw may increase student motivation to learn collaboratively. Abstract

The success of teachers in carrying out the task as educators in elementary schools is not enough to rely only high spirits, but must also have sufficient knowledge about the growth and development of learners, because of good teaching should be based on the growth and development of learners, if this is done then the process more effective and efficient learning. Under these conditions, it is necessary educators to understand more deeply about it. Growth and development can not be separated, meaning that there will be no development if the child is not growing. Term growth is associated with changes in the form of biological / physical, while the developments related to the change in function biolgis / physical human being in line with its growth. In general, human growth and development and the growth and development each have specific characteristics, such as growth and development of elementary school students. Abstract

Salah satu faktor yang membuat pemahaman konsep siswa tidak terbentuk secara utuh dan komprehensif adalah pembelajaran yang tidak sesuai dengan karakteristik perkembangan siswa sekolah dasar. Terlebih lagi pembelajaran berbicara pada pelaksanaan maupun penilaiannya tidak sesuai dengan kompetensi yang hendak dicapai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran awal pembelajaran pemahaman konsep dan berbicara dengan menggunakan strategi partisipatif melalui media gambar denah dan kartu pancing foto. Pendekatan penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode Pra-eksperimen desain Perbandingan Kelompok Statis atau Rancangan Postes Terhadap Kelompok-Kelompok Non-Ekuivalen (Statistic Group Comparison or Postest Only With Nonequivalent Groups). Subjek penelitian dalam penelitian ini mengambil sampel penelitian, kelas IV-A SDN Layungsari 1 kota Bogor sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan dan kelas IV-B SDN Bubulak kota Bogor sebagai kelompok kontrol. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan non random sampling. Jumlah sampel pada kedua kelompok populasi diambil jumlah yang sama yaitu 21 orang.Berdasarkan hasil uji t-tes, hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan pemahaman konsep antara hasil postes kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol serta terdapat perbedaan kemampuan berbicara antara hasil postes kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol.  Direkomendasikan untuk dilakukan kajian lebih lanjut mengenai pembelajaran pemahaman konsep dan berbicara dengan menggunakan strategi  partisipatif melalui media gambar denah dan kartu pancing foto. Kata Kunci: Strategi partisipatif, Pemahaman konsep, Pembelajaran berbicara One of the factors that make students' understanding of the concept is not formed completely and comprehensively is learning that does not  accordance with the characteristics of the development of elementary school students. Moreover, learning to speak on the implementation and the assessment does not accordance with the competence to be achieved. This research aimed to obtain an overview of early learning understanding of the concept and talking by using  participatory strategy through media ” gambar denah” and “kartu pancing foto”. This research is a quantitative approach using pre-experimental comparison group design Static or design Postes Groups Against Non-Equivalent (Statistics Group Comparison or posttest Only With Nonequivalent Groups). The research subjects in this study took a sample of research, class IV-A SDN Layungsari 1 Bogor as the experimental group and class IV-B and SDN Bubulak Bogor as a control group. The sampling technique using non-random sampling. The number of samples in both groups were taken the same number of population is 21 people. Based on the test results of t-test, the results showed there are differences between the understanding of the concept of post-test results of the experimental group and the control group, and there are differences in speech between the results posttest experimental group and the control group. Recommended for further study on the understanding of the concept of learning and talking using a participatory strategy through media “gambar denah” and “kartu pancing foto”.Keywords: Participatory strategy, Understanding of the concepts, Learning to speak.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar IPA yang memenuhi kecukupan kriteria materi, relevansi materi, konsistensi materi serta urutan penyajian sesuai dengan konsep pengetahuan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua tahap perencanaan dan pengembangan. dalam tahap perencanaan dilakukan melalui analisis standar dan kompetensi dasar dan materikals mengajar penyusunan, sehingga bahan rancangan pengajaran yang dihasilkan siap untuk di uji dan uji lapangan. tahap perkembangan dilakukan melalui pengujian ahli untuk menilai bahan rancangan instruksional yang memenuhi kriteria kelayakan isi, presentasi kelayakan, bahasa berbasis kelayakan. sedangkan uji lapangan yang dilakukan oleh siswa untuk menilai kelayakan rancangan elemen kegrafikan. Tahap pembangunan dapat diulang sampai rancangan bahan ajar tidak mendapatkan masukan atau perbaikan tim ahli dan mahasiswa. Hasil tahap pengembangan ini adalah bentuk bahan ajar yang telah memenuhi kriteria dan siap untuk digunakan oleh siswa. Berdasarkan pada hasil bahan ajar telah memenuhi unsur-unsur kelayakan konten, presentasi kelayakan, ketepatan bahasa dan penggunaan grafik. Kata kunci: bahan Pengajaran, praktikum IPA This research aims to develop teaching material science that meet the criteria sufficiency of the material, the relevance of the material, the consistency of the material as well as the order of presentation in accordance with the concept of knowledge. this research was conducted in two stages pre development and development. in the phase of pre development conducted through standard analysis and basic competencies and the drafting teaching materikals, so that the resulting draft teaching materials are ready to test the expert and public examination. stage of development done through expert testing to assess draft instructional materials that meet the eligibility criteria of content, presentation feasibility, feasibility languanges. while the public test performed by the students to assess the feasibility of the draft elements kegrafikan. The phase of development can be repeated until the draft instructional materials do not get input or improvement of a team of experts and students. Results of this development phase is a form of teaching materials that have met the  criteria and is ready for use by students. Based in the results of teaching materials have met the eligibility elements of content, presentation feasibility, appropriateness of languange and elements of kegrafikan. Keywords : Teaching materials, Practical Science

Abstract

Abstrak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penerapan metode pembelajaran Contextual Teaching Learning terhadap hasil belajar dan Self-Esteem siswa pada mata pelajaran PKn. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Kuasi Eksperimen karena pada penelitian ini subjek tidak dikelompokkan secara acak, tetapi peneliti menerima keadaan apa adanya. Sampel berdasarkan populasi tersebut dipilih dua kelas yaitu kelas V di SDN 1 Rangkasbitung sebagai kelas kontrol dan SDN 1 Muara Ciujung Timur sebagai kelas eksperimen. Pengumpulan data dilaksanakan dengan teknik penyebaran angket, tes perlakuan dan perbuatan serta tes tertulis bentuk uraian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : 1) Hasil belajar siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran CTL lebih baik dibandingkan dengan siswa yang mendapat pembelajaran biasa, 2) Self-Esteem siswa yang mendapat metode pembelajaran CTL tidak lebih baik dibandingkan dengan siswa yang mendapat pembelajaran biasa.  Kata Kunci: Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL), Self-Esteem , PKn  Abstract. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of learning methods Contextual Teaching Learning for learning outcomes and Self-Esteem students in the PKn. The method used was Quasi-Experiments for the study of this subject is not grouped randomly, but researchers accept what their circumstances. The population-based sample have two classes of fifth grade at SDN 1 Rangkasbitung as the control class and SDN 1 Muara Ciujung Timurt as an experimental class. The collection of data carried out by the technical questionnaire, the test treatment and deeds as well as a written test in narrative form. The results showed that: 1) Learning outcomes of students who obtain CTL better learning than students who received the usual learning 2) Self-Esteem learning methods CTL student gets no better than students who received regular learning.. Keywords: Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL), Self-Esteem , PKn

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui 1) tingkat self-efficacy dosen yang sesang membimbing skripsi mahasiswa di semester ganjil 2015/2016, FKIP Untirta, 2) tingkat self-efficacy mahasiswa yang sedang menyusun skripsi di semester ganjil 2015/2016 FKIP Untirta, 3) hubungan self-efficacy dosen dalam membimbing skripsi mahasiswa dan self-efficacy mahasiswa dalam menyusun skripsi di semester ganjil 2015/2016, FKIP Untirta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan penggujian korelasi. Subjek penelitian adalah dosen dan mahasiswa yang sedang membimbing dan menyusun skripsi. Instrument penelitian berupa angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan self-efficacy antara dosen dan mahasiswa yang sedang menyusun skripsi pada semester ganjil 2015/2016. Kata Kunci: Self Efficacy mahasiswa dan dosen   Abstact. Thesis is a task which is composed of students as evidence of learning for undergraduate education. in the process of preparation of the thesis students will encounter obstacles different and beliefs that can vary to deal. this will affect the time required to complete the thesis, these problems, researchers wanted to test relationship with self-efficacy lecture and students are in compiling thesis odd semester 2015/2016, faculty of teacher training and pedagogical, university of sultan ageng tirtayasa. the aim of research was to find out whether there relationship with self-efficacy lecture and students are in compiling thesis odd semester 2015/2016, faculty of teacher training and pedagogical, university of sultan ageng tirtayasa. This type of research used in this research is the survey method. This study is correlations, samples are student and lecture faculty of teacher training and pedagogical, university of sultan ageng tirtayasa. The result of research could be concluded as follows: (1) there is relational relationship with self-efficacy lecture and students are in compiling thesis odd semester 2015/2016, faculty of teacher training and pedagogical, university of sultan ageng tirtayasa.                                                                                Key Word: Self Efficacy, Studen and Lecture

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan sejauh mana kepercayaan diri mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Konsep Dasar Matematika I (KDM) pada mahasiswa S1 PGSD Universitas Muhammadiyah Tangerang. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa S1 PGSD Universitas Muhammadiyah Tangerang Semester I Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016. Sampel penelitian sebanyak tiga kelas yaitu kelas G, H, dan I. Data yang dikumpulkan diperoleh melalui angket kepercayaan diri matematika yang didistribusikan kepada sampel penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepercayaan diri mahasiswa S1 PGSD Universitas Muhammadiyah Tangerang Tahun Akademik 2015/2016 terhadap mata kuliah KDM I secara umum sudah baik, karena setengah dari jumlah mahasiswa mencapai kriteria tinggi untuk kepercayaan dirinya terhadap matematika terutama pada mata kuliah KDM I. Kata Kunci: Kepercayaan Diri, Konsep Dasar Matematika   Abstract. This study aims to describe students’ self confidence in subject 1st Basic Concept of Mathematics of 1st grade students’ Basic Education of Muhammadiyah Tangerang University. This research was a description method. The research population is 1st grade students’ Basic Education of Muhammadiyah Tangerang University of Academic Year 2015/2016. The sample consisted of three classes such as G, H, and I. Research instrument is non test (questionnaire’s self-confidence of mathematics). The result of the study shows that students’ self-confidence of 1st grade student Basic Education of Muhammadiyah Tangerang University reach out a good criteria, it cause a half of the amount of student reach out a high criteria for self confidence in subject 1st Basic Concept of Mathematics. Keywords: Self-Confidence, Basic Concept of Mathematics
