Abstract

AC-BC is Laston layer of concrete asphalt which is an intermediate layer with minimun hardness of 5 cm. Laston is a layer of road construction that consist a mixtures of hard asphalt and material thas has continious gradation mixed, spread, and solidified at a certain temperature. This leads to the fack that mixture of laston is more sensitive to the varieties of a mixtures proportion.This studydiscussed about impact of bamboo powder used as an addtional material for the mixture of asphalt as much as 1% and 2%. The mixtures characteristic include value of VIM,VMA,VFA,Stability,Flow and MQ. Variant were made to 3 types : normal , additonal 1% bamboo powder and addtional 2% bamboo powder. The analysis resultsshowed value of testing characteristic of addtional 1& bamboo powder fulfill the requirement as addtional (addictive), material as a complement material gradation especially filler agregat with certain percentage of compostition.

Abstract

Air Traffic Controller at Rahadi Osman Airport Ketapang faces dilemma dealing with the obligations of Article 272, Law No. 1 of 2009 on Civil Aviation concerning the provision of navigation services and 429 concerning the sanctions to officials who do not have a navigation service certificate as if the conflicting views of airspace condition and navigation service authority there. This study aims to analyze the structure of controlled airspace and air navigation service authority with parameters : separation, cruising altitude distribution, efficiency and effectiveness of air navigation services. The results are the structure of  Aerodrome Traffic Zone airspace and aerodrome control tower services are not able to accommodate the development of air traffic which impact to the violation of Article 429. Restructuring the airspace into the Control Zone with the authority of navigation services as an Approach Control to accommodate the operational needs and the law’s legality is the solution.

Abstract

With the rapid growth of population in line with rapid increasing of number of vehicles and vehicles ownership in Palembang, thus causes congestion in the streets, espescially in the center of town. Moreover, compounded by many vehicles parked on the street. One way to overcome these problems by diverting the private vehicles use to public transport modes, in addition, Park and Ride system must be applied in the terminals during will be heading to downtown Palembang The aim of this study is to determine the characteristics of the trip and measure the potential application of the park and ride system for people, this system is used to determine the magnitude of the supply needs of the vehicle that will carry out the transfer of the vehicle Park and Ride particularly in the Alang-alang lebar district area. The analysis conducted in this study is a descriptive analysis, analysis of origin-destination matrix and modal choices  matrix method is used with the base crosstabulation, and analysis of parking supply in the Alang-alang lebar terminal. In addition, before the analysis done, previously conducted Revealed Preference (RP) survey and traffic count to obtain more accurate data from this study. From the tesult of the research that has been conducted, the population with more frequent trip are males aged between 25-55 years with the status as a private employee and student, and the district with the most attracted trips are  Ilir Barat I and Sukarami, as well as the magnitude of potential Park and Ride vehicles in alang alang lebar area are 16.065 motorcycles and 2.768 cars.

Abstract

Traffic information is an important necessity for humans. Advances in technology make various facilities. The use of smart phone is already very common thing. The use of smart phones, especially development based on open source license is very favorable. Any individual or organization can create applications that can be accessed by many people. There are various applications on smart phone device that is associated with the map -based transportation. Staring from the application issued by government agencies to the application made by the individual. One of the legal application based map application issued by the agency is MoT GIS or known as "GIS KEMENHUB". This application issued by the Ministry of Transportation. Problem for user is the limitations of information that can be obtained from the features.  Applications are found to be the maximum that is less attractive to users. The purpose of this study was to determine how the advantages and disadvantages of the user application. Advantages and disadvantages which were known from the user side could be input for the development of better applications. This study contained the discussion of the current state of the application. Object current application was the basis for the development of applications, input from external users who were not part of the developer to add a new angle in the subsequent development. The use of applications generated by government agencies were legally expected to reduce mistrust users to use the data including map data. Legal institutions were expected to generate data in accordance with clear standards. This application is not directly related to the system or management of transportation, however the use of application based on the appropriate map can asses the transportation easily.

Abstract

Jakarta, as a sprawling metropolitan, is burdened with the daily activities of its population and their everyday movements. The huge amount of vehicles, especially light vehicles, moving towards the business districts such as Semanggi has filled to capacity the toll roads, more specifically the Jakarta Inner Ring Road, and thus traffic is the result. To increase the capacity and to decrease traffic, PT Jasa Marga has implemented a contraflow lane that starts from km 01+600 until km 08+600. This research is to study the traffic characteristics from the contraflow lane, with the focus at the entrance zone and the middle zone. The emphasis of this study is to understand the performance and effectivity of contraflow lane and the effect it has on the toll road in regards of the traffic characteristics (capacity, volume, speed and density). The method of this research is to compare existing conditions that is surveyed first-hand with standards set from the Public Works Minister, MKJI (Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia) and Greenshield’s Theory. The result of this research shows that the implementation of a contraflow lane decreases the degree of saturation from those greater than 0.75 to less than 0.75, by significantly increasing road capacity. Thus it can be concluded that the contraflow lane is effective and is an excellent means to decrease traffic.

Abstract

Severe traffic congestions are often in Dewa Ruci Intersection. It leads to the Bali Provincial Government is forced to build an underpass at this intersection. The impact of construction will be add to the congestion becomes more severe that will take it during the project. To overcome, it is necessary to make the comparative method that have already used (secant pile) with precast method (sheet pile) is known relatively quickly and cheaply. However, this comparison should be followed up with a risk analysis that will happen with these methods. The results showed that sheet pile can accelerate 13.58 days or 5.21% and reduce Rp. 2,754,284,040.00 or 14.47% of secant pile method. The construction cost risk level of sheet pile is almost equal to secant pile but the construction time risk level of sheet pile is smaller than the secant pile.

Abstract

Motor vehicles always generate noise pollution levels are influenced by a variety of machine types and models of exhaust.  Sound or noise pollution on the roads impassable formed due to the accumulation of noise sources, especially at a distance of buildings on these roads. Improved traffic flow from motorcycles, private cars, public transport passenger, and transportation of goods accounted for 53.65% of the noise level with a value of 53,810 dB noise.

Abstract

Study about behaviors of traveler who used motorcycle are very limited in developing countries, especially using activity based approach. This kind of analysis is useful in developing strategy to handle the usage of motorcycle in Indonesia. This study aims to prepare data about travel and its related activities and to determine mandatory activities of workers. The result of this initial analysis found that duration of sleeping and working are two activities with the highest duration, while activities of waiting, studying, and delivery are three activities with the lowest duration.

Abstract

Level of service is important parameter for determining the road performance that is influenced by speed and volume of traffic at the certain road. In the appendix of Decree 14 year 2006 is listed categories level of service for each condition of any road function such as arterial, collector and local road. But the level of service at those decree seem too optimistic or not sensitive when applied to the current road conditions, especially on the streets of the city, that cause all the roads show at lowest level of road service or F level, especially during peak hour, so it is certainly difficult to evaluate. For those reason it is necessary to revise the provision regarding road level of service that based on a calculation of Road Service Index which consists of variables such as design speed, travel time, road capacity and traffic volume at the certain time. The revise of those provision will be proposed become the Transportation Minister Decree substitute the recent regulation. This research based on observation or field study, then IHCM method used for Level of Service analysis and mathematical method for calculating road service index. Conclusion based on comparisson of those both methods.

Abstract

The low standard of National road is continuously reconstructed to establish Trans National connectivities. During the reconstruction period, the loss of road user costs and the negative impacts for surrounding environment were inccurred. Predicted losses of road users have not been conducted, so that it is important to be investigated. Initially, road performances were analyzed during road reconstruction. The road performances were analyzed using a descriptive method. Road performance variable includes running costs referred to the Bina Marga guidelines of Pd - T-15 -2005- B. National road reconstruction project in fiscal year 2013 is used as a case study. The results of the analysis are obtained as follows: 1) speed (Vm) can be predicted from the exponential relationship model in which degree of saturation in pre-reconstruction (DSp) is used as a generator variable. This generator variable is predicted declining at 6 km/h (DSp = 0.1);  2) The traffic flow (Qm) is predicted by multiplying the current pre-reconstruction flows with a factor of Fq. Traffic flows is predicted declining by 28% (Fq = 0.72); and 3) The degree of saturation (DSm) is predicted by a factor of Fds and estimated to increase by 30% (Fds = 1.3).
