Abstract

In the industrial world or what we could call the modern world, it is not only factories or companies that are developing but also MSMEs. MSMEs are enterprises or businesses carried out by individuals, groups, small business entities, or households. Indonesia as a developing country makes MSMEs the main foundation of the community's economic sector, this is done to encourage the ability to be independent in development in society, especially in the economic sector. This MSME has also implemented technology in its business processes. In technological advances, society is required to be able to apply technology, especially the internet, such as electronic market share, e- market ethics, and e-market advertising. The core subjects of e-market advertising are product photography and product design. Because technology has developed nowadays, all the above processes can be done through it. This training is specifically designed for this purpose, namely to develop the skills of the MSME community in smartphone product photography and how to package their products so that they can compete and win the competition in the electronics market. This training was quite successful as shown by the enthusiasm of the training participants and resulted in some very good product photography. The result of this training is that more and more SME practitioners are going online and promoting their products in mass media.

Abstract

Pucangan Village is a village located in Kartasura District, Sukoharjo Regency, Central Java. This village is approximately 15 km from Sebelas Maret University. With a total population of 13,842 people, according to field observations, around 80% of residents who run MSMEs in Pucangan Village have not mastered digital technology; only about 20% of people understand digital technology. In addition, PKK community organizations in Pucangan Village have not been optimally involved in the recovery of the village's economic acceleration. Pucangan Village has many potential natural and human resources that can be utilized, one of which is MSME products in the form of emping melinjo, crackers, and furniture businesses. But in reality, this potential has not been optimally developed because it does not know how to carry out digital marketing with the potential that exists in Pucangan Village. We can help by utilizing the resources in Pucangan Village as a dedication to economic development, especially surrounding MSMEs. In this digitalization era, marketing optimization through digital marketing is very important in order to improve the economy more quickly and efficiently. This training is useful to understand the digital marketing market, which has the potential to increase economic development. The purpose of this activity is to empower rural communities with human resources that can guide the community to become more developed, develop natural resources to be used more efficiently, and produce products that have value in the community with digitalization so that people know more about the market with a wider scope for MSMEs, especially rural communities. Increasing production and marketing of products in Pucangan Village with the establishment of a partnership between Pucangan Village and Sebelas Maret University can create an economy that is more open to the digital world, especially understanding production and marketing that will increase MSME productivity.

Abstract

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a crucial role in Indonesia's national economic development. One sector with significant development potential is the batik industry, particularly handwritten batik (batik tulis) found in Tanjungbumi, Bangkalan, Madura. However, many batik artisans continue to rely on traditional sales methods, which restrict their market reach. This community service activity aims to enhance the branding and digital marketing capabilities of batik artisans through training on utilizing social media as a promotional tool. The implementation method consists of three stages: preparation, coordination, and educational activities. The training focuses on optimizing social media platforms, creating engaging content, and effectively using hashtags. Risk mitigation topics, such as adding watermarks to content, were also introduced to prevent unauthorized copying of batik patterns. The results indicate an improved understanding among artisans regarding the significance of branding and digital marketing strategies. The participants expressed great enthusiasm and were motivated to apply the knowledge gained. This activity demonstrates that support from higher education institutions can encourage artisans to adapt to technological advancements and enhance their product competitiveness. A recommendation arising from this activity is the need for ongoing support and advanced digital training to ensure batik artisans are better prepared to compete in the digital era.

Abstract

The productivity of pineapple in Karangjengkol Village, Purbalingga Regency is 110 million/Ha/year. Based on the situation analysis, currently pineapple sales use the slashing system and the existing processed products are jam, jam and pineapple dodol with low quality. As a result, the price obtained is low and the shelf life of pineapple and its processed products is relatively short, which is 3 days for fresh pineapple and 14 days for its processed products. The objectives of this community service are: 1) To find out the understanding and implementation of pineapple dodol and instant powder processing techniques. 2) To find out the level of mastery of target group members regarding simple post-harvest technology, namely grading, coating harvest wounds with rosella antimicrobial bioactive compounds. After the technology transfer, the increase in the number of people who know the proper and correct processing methods regarding dodol, instant powder and grading increased, respectively: 17%, 22% and 34%. Grading and rinsing wounds with rosella extract disinfectant can prevent contaminants and extend the shelf life of fresh pineapple. In the manufacture of instant powder, stirring after caramelization and stopping the heat source must be done quickly and without pause until small crystals are formed. In the processing of dodol, the right stirring and temperature affect the quality attributes of the resulting dodol.

Abstract

Batukerbuy Village is a coastal village located in Pasean District, Pamekasan Regency. The main commodity in this village is chili. However, there are obstacles that can cause damage to chili plants, namely the whitefly pest attack. Whitefly pests suck sugar-containing plant fluids, called sap, from plant parts such as leaves, stems, and flowers. This pest attack can cause huge losses for farmers so there must be proper handling to overcome the pest attack. The use of chemical pesticides is considered to have a negative impact on humans and the environment. One alternative to pest control to be developed is the manufacture of vegetable pesticides using neem leaves. Neem leaves contain alkoids, steroids, saponins, tannins, and flavonoids. Therefore, socialization and training on making vegetable pesticides were conducted with the aim of reducing the use of chemical pesticides. The results of this socialization include an understanding of the importance of sustainable agriculture, where the use of vegetable pesticides can be a better solution in controlling plant pests.
