Abstract

Until 2020, there is no consensus among researchers about the actual compulsive buying concept is. There are many different compulsive buying concepts in the scientific literature (Ridgway et al., 2008; Goldsmith et al., 2015).  Consequently, it is difficult for marketers to implement it in marketing decision making. This study aims to clarify it by categorizing any existing compulsive buying concepts in scientific literature and offer one of which for the best explanation. Based on a literature study, we collected data from any scientific research in any discipline. By using bibliometric analysis, the concept of compulsive buying can categorize it into three categories: compulsive buying as a disease, as a bad habit or "a want" or consumer culture, and as a force. Among the compulsive buying categories, this study has offered the compulsive buying as a force to be the best concept for compulsive buying explanation. The idea can clarify the concept of compulsive buying to be better because it can differentiate compulsive buying from similar concepts such as addiction, impulsive buying, and obsessive-compulsive disorder.

Abstract

Within the conduct of the study, the research adopted the TAM (Technology Acceptance) theory as the basis for identifying the factors that influence the customers to perform transactions through online sites. Furthermore, within the study as well the researcher would like to adopt the TPB (Theory Planned Behaviour) as the support of TAM theory in predicting the online consumer behaviours within the online sites. On the other hand, in the data analysis the researcher has run by using the PLS 3.0. In the same time, survey by means of questionnaire distribution carried out toward the respondents who used to perform transactions through online sites. Finally,  this research found that visualization, online review and trust have positive impact on purchase intention smartphone of consumer  through You Tube Channel

Abstract

The research explores the influence of job satisfaction and organizational climate on organizational citizenship behavior. The object of this research are employees at PT.CCM. The research conducted to 60 respondents by delivering a questionnaire. The data analysis conducted with multiple linear regression tests. The result of this research shows that there is a partially and simultaneously correlation between job satisfaction and organizational climate toward organizational citizenship behavior.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan peran kebahagiaan kerja dan komitmen karyawan memediasi pengaruh kebahagiaan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan. Populasi penelitian ini adalah karyawan perusahaan swasta di Bali. Besarnya sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 200 orang dengan metode purposive sampling. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah Path Analysis dengan menggunakan pendekatan SEM-PLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebahagaan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Kebahagiaan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku inovatif dan kebahagian kerja juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasional. Selanjutnya, perilaku inovatif berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan dan komitmen organisasional berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Perilaku inovatif mampu memediasi parsial secara signifikan pengaruh kebahagiaan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan dan komitmen organisasional mampu memediasi secara signifikan pengaruh kebahagiaan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan.  Oleh karena itu penting bagi pimpinan di perusahaan untuk memperhatikan mengembangkan perilaku inovatif dan komitmen organisasional sehingga kebahagiaan kerja mampu meningkatkan kinerja karyawannya.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membangun model loyalitas konsumen pada produk halal khususnya kosmetik. Berdasarkan source credibility theory, penelitian ini menguji pengaruh langsung dan tidak langsung kredibilitas merek dalam memediasi pengaruh celebrity endorsement dan citra produk halal terhadap loyalitas konsumen. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menyebarkan kuesioner secara online dan offline. Purposive sampling digunakan dalam memilih responden. Penelitian ini dilakukan di wilayah Jabodetabek (Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi). Secara keseluruhan, 156 responden berpartisipasi sebagai sampel dalam penelitian ini. Data diolah dengan menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan selebriti tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung terhadap loyalitas konsumen. Sedangkan Citra Produk Halal tidak berpengaruh secara langsung terhadap loyalitas merek. Namun, Citra Produk Halal menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan melalui kredibilitas merek.

Abstract

Knowledge is the most important strategic resource for knowledge-based organizations such as higher education to achieve sustainable competitive advantage. Facing dynamic and unpredictable competition, organizations not only rely solely on a workforce training system that focuses on selecting workers who have specific knowledge, skills, abilities, or competencies, but also organizations must start thinking about how the knowledge sharing process can be carried out in organization. This study is conducted to investigate factors influencing knowledge sharing activities among academics in Indonesia. These factors include individual factors, group factors, organizational factors, and technological factors. This study involved academics from public and private universities in Indonesia and data collected through surveys. This study involved 141 respondents from 17 study programs which include 31 public and private universities in Indonesia. The results showed that individual factors, organizational factors, and technological factors had a significant influence on knowledge sharing activities among academics in higher education, while group factors did not have a significant effect on knowledge sharing activities between academics in universities in Indonesia

Abstract

The tourism sector is a service sector that contributes significantly financially to the country's economy. Maluku province has tourism potential. Including a tourist attraction in Oma village, one of the villages in Central Maluku district, Ambon City, Maluku Province. This research is a multi-year study (4 years) and aims to: 1. create a profile and mapping of tourist objects, 2. create easy access and facilities, 3. implement integrated marketing communications and digitization of tourism marketing and 4. collaborate on tourism marketing in Oma village with Maluku tourism & investment industry. For the first year of research, the research objective is number 1, which is to create a profile and mapping of tourist objects in Oma's Country. This type of research is applied research and qualitative methods.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze and evaluate the discovery and creation of opportunities in entrepreneurship moderated by social media. Two variables were used as antecedents namely Prior Knowledge and Entrepreneurial Alertness. This research used structural equation modeling method as well as Partial Least Square (PLS) theory. There were 294 final data processed from entrepreneurs who interacted using social media. From the 5 proposed hypotheses, the 5 hypotheses were significantly positive. Prior Knowledge had a significant impact on Entrepreneurial Alertness, social media had a significant impact in moderating Prior knowledge and Entrepreneurial Alertness on finding and creating opportunities. The novelty of this research explores the concept of entrepreneurship in social media and very few researchers conduct research in this field

Abstract

This research is triggered by the author's concern about a brand that will build a strong bond with consumers regardless of the impact it will have. Previous research conducted in the UK stated that brand attachment not only leads to favorable consumer behavior such as brand loyalty, but also detrimental consumer behavior such as trash-talking, schadenfreude and anti-brand actions which are only moderated by attachment avoidance styles (Japutra et al. , 2018). Trash-talking is different from negative WOM. The purpose of this study was to examine positive behavior (brand loyalty) and negative consumer behavior (trash-talking, schadenfreude, and anti-brand action) due to brand attachment using anxiety attachment style and attachment avoidance style as moderating variables in Indonesia. This study uses an online questionnaire method with a sample of 80 respondents. Furthermore, the data were tested using the PLS-SEM method with the help of the WarpPLS 7.0 software. The results explain that strong brand attachment has a strong influence on brand loyalty, trash-talking, schadenfreude, and anti-brand actions. However, these relationships were not moderated by either anxiety attachment styles or avoidance attachment styles. It can be concluded that the relationship between the brand attachment variable and the brand loyalty variable, the trash-talking variable, the schadenfreude variable and the anti-brand action variable were not moderated by the anxiety attachment style and the avoidance attachment style.

Abstract

Banking efficiency is very important in supporting the success of macro policies specifically, maintaining the sustainability of development that affects economic growth and social welfare. This study discusses the efficiency of commercial banks for the 2015-2019 period using data from the 10 largest commercial banks in Indonesia. The methodology used is non-parametric, Data Envelopment Analysis, to analyze technical efficiency. The results showed that 7 banks had a maximum efficiency level consistently during the study period and there were still 3 banks that did not reach the maximum efficiency but during certain periods or periods. Based on the results of the DEA, inefficient banks in a certain period can achieve maximum efficiency by reducing inputs such as labor costs, net fixed assets, and the number of deposits. This might be attributed that the competition in the banking industry and because not all inputs could be controlled by management, some large banks cannot maintain their level of efficiency consistently.
