Abstract

This study aims to describe the further concept of under-age marriage among the Sasak people. This is important considering that early marriage is a social phenomenon that still occurs in many parts of Indonesia, including on the Lombok island, Indonesia. This high rate of marriage occurs in both urban and rural areas with a variety of social, economic and cultural backgrounds. This study uses a qualitative approach with literature study methods. The data collection technique was carried out by reviewing the official website of Google Scholar, Research Gate, Science Direct, and trusted online media sites. The results of this study indicate that early marriage is marriage under the proper age and not physically and mentally ready to carry out marriage. Early marriages occur due to the encouragement of various factors including social, economic, educational and cultural factors. The impact of early marriage, among others, causes children to drop out of school, instability in building a family, the occurrence of domestic violence (KDRT), and women's subordination which is then summarized based on the economic, social, health and psychological impacts both in the short and long term.

Abstract

In civic education, one of the materials is about human right. It introduces the students to know what students’ rights since in the childhood in living as a citizen who has ideology Pancasila. Islamic human right perspective also needs to be taught. This study aimed to explain integrating Islamic values in teaching human right in digital era. A literature study was used in this study. The integration of Islamic value in teaching human right is intended to students has Pancasila human right insight is the study result. The are some efforts for teacher to do in raising students right’ awareness as religious people by cultivating Islamic values in teaching human rights which intended to establishing students’ attitude and behavior .It is in order to the students are able to face the challenges of digital era such as; human rights violations, cyber-crimes, radicalism contents, etc.

Abstract

State Defence Program is a program held by the Indonesian government in the efforts to form backup military troops which consist of citizens, combining military roles with a civil career which is called Military Reserve (Komponen Cadangan). This program is aimed at the general public as a place to develop human resources, especially the younger generation who are the nation’s successors. There has been a discourse around implementing military education through State Defence’s education program as one of the backups for defense and security in Indonesia, which raises pros and cons among citizens. This program’s main targets are the nation’s youth, which includes university students. Efforts are made with plans for collaboration between State Defence and Independent Campus (Kampus Merdeka) programs. Hence, an analysis of university students’ opinion about this program has to be done to give us an illustration that is useful for the government and citizens. Writers’ method in analysing is done by collecting data from a survey, in which the respondent target is university students to see their perspectives about the program.

Abstract

This writing aims to identify, understand, and examine the causes and solutions of the low pride in the nation and state itself, namely Indonesia. The method used in writing is a qualitative method of document or text study with factual data obtained from reliable sources. The results obtained from this writing, the writer knows that the cause of the lack of a sense of nationalism in the nation and state, one of them is due to the flow of globalization that is difficult to stem and less optimal character education. Thus, it can be concluded that various factors influence the low level of pride in the nation and the state itself. So those efforts are needed to overcome these problems, one of which is efforts to improve character education based on civic disposition.

Abstract

One of the efforts that can be done to achieve the learning objectives is by applying a learner-centered learning model such as the inside outside circle type cooperative learning model and the bamboo dancing type. Thus, this study aims to see the effect of the type of cooperative learning model inside outside circle and type of bamboo dancing on learning outcomes. The population in this study were students of class VIII SMPN 6 Banda Aceh. Sampling was done by purposive sampling technique by taking only two classes. The research method uses a quantitative approach with the type of experimental research design, none equivalent groups pretest-posttest design. Data were collected through the provision of multiple-choice tests to students. The results showed that tcount tTable (3.48 1.67). Thus Ha is accepted, so it can be concluded that the learning outcomes of students who are taught using the Inside Outside Circle learning model are better than the Bamboo Dancing learning model.

Abstract

Adolescence is a time when there are many processes experienced by an individual, both physically and psychologically. For this reason, this scientific research aims to be able to describe what developments occur during adolescence towards maturity and its effects on mental health from the anxiety they experience. The method used in this research is a literature study from various data reference sources, also give them some questionnaires. From this analysis, I will look at what problems they generally experience and what is the background of these problems in general. How do they motivate themselves, is it enough with the role of self-motivation, then, do they need motivation from other people in dealing with this problem, then how is the context devoured by someone who is more closed off, and those who think the problems and stress they experience are just winds. Then, how about their mental health today? With this condition, the role of self-motivation, such as self-love and self-awareness, plays an important role. The role of the closest people is also important in helping them express their feelings.

Abstract

This experimental study examines the effect of teacher self- efficacy training to increase work engagement among teachers. Participants in this training were 16 teachers from the level of playgroup/kindergarten, and lower grade primary level. Work Engagement is measured using the Work and Well Being Survey (UWES) attitude scale, while Teacher Self Efficacy is measured using the Norwegian Teacher Self Efficacy Scale (NTSES). The results showed that there were differences in the level of understanding of participants' knowledge about work engagement and teacher self-efficacy before and after training, through the results of statistical tests with the Wilcoxon non-parametric SPSS 16.0 program 0.001 (sig. 0.05). Based on the correlation test for the two variables, the results of the pre-test (0.502) and post-test (0.507) were obtained. Based on T-test, the results of the significance level of work engagement is 0.183 (sig. 0.05) and the significance level of teacher self-efficacy is 0.131 (sig. 0.05), which means that there is no difference in the level of work engagement and teacher self-efficacy on the participants before and after attending the training. The finding shows the training materials provide new insights for the training participants in terms of knowledge level. However, the training has not increased work engagement level, probably caused by the matter of the social desirability bias and performance bias in this research.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to see the effect of the outdoor learning method on student motivation in the Museology course of the History Education Study Program at the IKIP PGRI Pontianak. This research method used is experimental, with a research design that is Quasi experimental. The experimental class is A and the control class is B. The location is on the IKIP PGRI Pontianak campus. Data collection techniques with learning motivation questionnaires, observation sheets and documentation. Data analysis techniques used descriptive statistics, parametric statistical tests, and used the Effect Size formula. The results of this study are 1. The average learning motivation of students who are not taught using the History Education laboratory is 66.33 which is classified as sufficient. 2. The average learning motivation of students who are taught or the experimental class using the outdoor learning method is 77.42 which is classified as good. 3. There is a significant difference in the average learning motivation of students in the control class and students in the experimental class. 4. Based on the calculation using the effect size obtained Es 80, or Es = 0.55, it can be concluded that the use of the outdoor learning method on learning motivation in Museology courses is classified as moderate.

Abstract

Marhaenism is the principle of struggle for the Indonesian people driven by Sukarno in the early days of the national movement against imperialism of foreign nations. The oppression and capitalism of the bourgeoisie at that time became a crucial issue which Sukarno saw as something to be opposed. The marhaen, hereinafter became a term for those who are oppressed, destitute, and do not have the opportunity to prosper themselves. Socio-democracy, socio-nationalism, mass action and non-cooperation characterize the marhaen movement. In the end, marhaenism succeeded in becoming the distinctive ideology developed by Sukarno and inspired him in designing the basics of the formulation of Pancasila. However, after independence, problems related to poverty and the welfare of the community, especially the marginalized (marginalized) are still not over, so there is a need for a political strategy that leads to policy optimization by prioritizing the interests of the little people. So, the reactualization of the principle of marhaenism becomes relevant to be reviewed and echoed again. The purpose of this study is to provide an analytical (descriptive analytical) description of the reactualization of the principle of marhaenism using a qualitative approach.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine the profession of housewives who have an important role in a family, especially in managing finances for daily needs. The high level of spending in Indonesia causes people to have a wasteful lifestyle, but the adoption of a saving attitude can be influenced by other factors, for example television as a communication medium which can provide positive information content through television shows.  This research uses quantitative methods by distributing questionnaires to collect data and applying moderated regression analysis. Questionnaires were distributed to 100 housewife respondents in Cisaranten Kidul Village with the criteria of watching the FTV program "Pintu Berkah". The results showed that the influence of FTV broadcasts and religiosity had a positive effect on saving attitudes, as evidenced by the values of t = 3.278, p (0.001) α (5%) and t = 3.025, p (0.003) α (5%). Based on the results of these calculations, a housewife proves that with social cognitive theory, a person will learn through experience gained from the media or the environment. Housewife respondents who watch the FTV "Pintu Berkah" tend to be influenced by the program, which has gone through several stages of knowledge processing to then implement a frugal lifestyle in accordance with the religious values adhered to by each individual.
