Even though Japan is located by a great distance from Islamic countries, halal tourism prominence has become a rapidly growing interest of the country. In fact, in 2016, Japan won the ?World?s Best Non-OIC Emerging Halal Destination.? The study attempts to describe an examination of the images found in Japan?s tourism promotional brochures. The study aimed at interpreting the denotative and connotative messages of the promotional images in the sampled brochures. A visual content analysis was applied to interpret the brochures? layout and the promotional images. The findings of the study imply that distinctive Islamic Symbols and Japanese monumental structure are the prominent denotative elements of the brochure. Regarding the connotative elements, the analysis indicates that female Muslim and Halal food become the main Synecdoche in representing Japan?s Halal destination image.

This research discusses about E-Learning, which is needed to balanced Education in this modern era. There is a difference in the implementation of E-Learning in every school, what the researchers found is the evaluation system to get the results of learning the value of knowledge that is done online by using an application called Edubox. This research aimed :(1) To know the student’s response to Edubox utilization as an evaluation tool in SMP Negeri 10 Bandung. (2) To know effective IPS learning outcomes of students after using Edubox class VII SMP Negeri 10 Bandung. (3) To Know the results of the cognitive Social Studies learning of students after using Edubox in class VII SMP Negeri 10 Bandung. This research used qualitative descriptive study methods. The participant of this research is 7 random students in every class, Social Studies teachers and vice-principal as the facilities and infrastructures in the field of management Edubox. The Data collecties by interviews, observations, and documentation, while analyzing data using data reduction, data presentation, data verification. The finding shows that 1) the response of the learner, educators, schools on the existence of Edubox brought a positive impact so that the evaluation can be implemented easily. 2) Edubox presence provide change to students in affective learning outcomes such as attitudes, interests and better self-concepts. 3) Edubox can make the learning results in the form of the knowledge value of the learners increased from the previous results. Therefore, I used Edubox as Social Studied learning outcome tool.

In some countries, it is stated that youth political participation tends to decline, and the media are then regarded as ones of the causes of this decline. This is strongly supported by the media perspective. However, it is undeniable that there are contradictions to these views, which bring forth the mobilization perspective. There are also parties who consider that the media have merits in increasing political participation. In this case, communication plays an important role as an analytical tool to determine the effect of online political news consumption on political participation. Political knowledge is used as a mediator in this study. This study was conducted to see the position of Consumption of Online Political News in influencing Political Participation through Political Knowledge among Students. The study employed a quantitative method through questionnaires as an effort to collect and analyze data through regression analysis. Population in this study is Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia’s student that used online news portal. The questionnaires were distributed to 100 student respondents. Sampling method of this study using purposive sampling with several criterias. The results of the study show that there is a significant effect of online political news consumption on political participation with a direct value 0,719.

Social media has been growing rapidly, and it revolves around self-disclosure. Social media provide the opportunity to showcase oneself, begin and extend one’s social circle, exchange content and even personal information in order to deepen online connections to others. Instagram as the most influential social media nowadays, triggers its users to perform OSD. The use of social media is indeed one of the predictors that have an impact. But apart from that, there is an exposure created by the presence of a media. The effect of media exposure also often affects a person in self-disclosure on social networks. The independent variable in this study is Instagram influencer content exposure. As users who have massive followers, influencers can mobilize and influence their followers with very high feedback through the content they uploaded, therefore followers are often triggered to do OSD on their social media. The purpose of this study was to determine how significant the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable, the motivation for online self-disclosing. The paradigm used is quantitative with correlational studies. The method of distributing the questionnaire was carried out by using a simple random sampling technique to 100 respondents who were followers of the @catwomanizer Instagram account. The results showed that the two variables simultaneously had a 0.620 degree of relationship with a strong correlation level.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran tematik terpadu menggunakan Model Cooperative Script di kelas IV SDN 21 Taluak IV Suku Banuhampu Kabupaten Agam. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Jenis penelitian yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV SDN 21 Taluak IV Suku Banuhampu Kabupaten Agam sebanyak 26 siswa. Penelitian dilaksanakan dua siklus. Rancangan penelitian meliputi,(1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan, (3) pengamatan dan (4) Refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan pada : a) RPP siklus I 81,94% (B) Siklus II 91,66% (AB) b) pelaksanaan pada aspek guru siklus I 81,9% (B) Siklus II 94,4% (AB) c) pelaksanaan pada aspek siswa Siklus I 80,55% (B) pada siklus II 94,44% (AB) d) hasil belajar siswa siklus I 77,02 (B) pada siklus II 81,49 (B+) . Dengan demikian model Cooperative Script dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar tematik terpadu siswa kelas IV SDN 21 Taluak IV Suku Banuhampu Kabupaten Agam.

Kajian ilmiah ini akan memberikan gambaran tentang variabel pemrograman dan memberikan petunjuk pembuatan variabel pada Visual C++. Secara matematis variabel adalah sebuah simbol yang mewakili kuantitas di dalam pemrograman komputer. Variabel adalah suatu tempat yang disediakan dalam memori komputer untuk menampung data dan nilai. Pemrograman yang menggunakan Visual C++ memiliki keunikan dalam penyusunan variabel yaitu variabel yang memiliki hubungan langsung dengan kontrolnya, yang dibuat melalui prosedur Member Variable.

Artikel ilmiah ini, akan memberikan gambaran tentang apakah resiko dan bagaimana pengamanan dalam electronic commerce (eCommerce). eCommerce merupakan satu set dinamis teknologi, aplikasi dan proses bisnis yang menghubungkan perusahaan, konsumen, dan komunitas tertentu melalui transaksi elektronik dan perdagangan barang, pelayanan, dan informasi yang dilakukan secara elektronik. Meskipun eCommerce merupakan sistem yang menguntungkan karena dapat mengurangi biaya transaksi bisnis dan dapat memperbaiki kualitas pelayanan kepada pelanggan, namun sistem eCommerce ini beserta semua infrastruktur pendukungnya mudah sekali disalahgunakan oleh pihak-pihak yang tidak bertanggung jawab, dan bisa juga terkena kesalahan-kesalahan yang mungkin timbul melalui berbagai cara. Kerusakan hebat bisa terjadi pada semua elemen yang berkaitan dengan sistem ini baik itu dalam sistem perdagangan komersial, institusi finansial, service provider, bahkan konsumen sekalipun. Harus diakui, sesuatu yang dibuat oleh manusia itu memang tidak ada yang sempurna. Untuk itu perlu dikaji pengamanannya.

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui Sistem Pengarsipan Jurusan Berbasis Web pada Politeknik Negeri Sriwijaya (Tinjauan pada SAP Jurusan). Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendapatkan perangkat lunak yang menyimpan Satuan Acara Pengajaran semua jurusan yang ditempatkan pada satu server dan dapat diakses dari mana saja dan oleh siapa saja tanpa mengabaikan keamanan data. Manfaat yang diharapkan dari hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) dapat melakukan perbaikan, penambahan atau pun pennghapusan data Satuan Acara Pengajaran dengan mudah (2) Semua SAP masing-masing jurusan dapat dengan mudah dibaca oleh pimpinan dan dapat mengetahui kwalitas dari kurikulum dan SAP yang sedang diterapkan pada masing-masing jurusan/program studi (3) masyarakat umum dapat dengan mudah membaca kurikulum pada jurusan yang diminati.

Pesatnya perkembangan teknologi Internet, membuat remaja menjadi kelompok digital native karena mereka tidak perlu diajari cara menggunakan teknologi tersebut. Kelompok remaja ini menjadi sasaran utama dalam literasi digital karena (1) dianggap paling rentan, dan (2) diharapkan menjadi agen perubahan untuk mengatasi berbagai problem masyarakat digital. Interaksi di dunia maya biasanya lebih mempererat hubungan juga dapat pula merenggangkan hubungan yang sudah terjalin. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menggambarkan pengembangan hubungan interpersonal remaja dalam penggunaan media sosial menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setiap remaja mempunyai banyak identitas atau akun di media sosial, baik pada akun asli maupun akun palsu. Pada kenyataannya terdapat perbedaan antara pribadi di dunia nyata dengan pribadi di dunia maya. Efektivitas komunikasi interpersonal dipengaruhi oleh seberapa besar keterbukaan dari remaja yang sedang berinteraksi, sehingga dapat meningkatkan hubungan antar personal remaja tersebut, menjadi lebih dekat dan erat walaupun mereka berkomunikasi dengan menggunakan media sosial. Sikap remaja pada saat beriteraksi dengan orang lain dipengaruhi faktor eksternal dan faktor internal berupa kecerdasan emosional dan kepercayaan diri. Remaja membutuhkan pengembangan hubungan antar personal dalam berkomunikasi menggunakan media sosial.

The purpose of this study was to increase students' motivation and learning outcomes through a self-organized learning environment (SOLE) learning model assisted by e-learning applications. This research uses the classroom action research method. The subjects of this study were students of class XI Marketing Department at SMK Negeri 1 Puhpelem in Wonogiri Regency, Indonesia. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, questionnaires, tests, and analysis of documents and archives. The data collected were analyzed descriptively qualitatively and quantitatively. The results showed an increase in students' motivation and learning outcomes through the role of a self-organized learning environment (SOLE) learning model assisted by e-learning applications. The results of the study obtained a comparison of the increase in learning motivation and learning outcomes of students in class XI Marketing A SMK Negeri 1 Puhpelem at the pre-action stage by 34.86%, increasing in cycle 1 to 64.39% and increasing again in cycle 2 by 85.17%. Learning outcomes increased in the pre-action stage by 33.33%, increased in cycle 1 to 68.57%, and increased again in cycle 2 by 88.57%. learning motivation for class XI Marketing B SMK Negeri 1 Puhpelem at the pre-action stage was 33.12%, increased in cycle 1 to 67.35%, and increased again in cycle 2 by 86.25%. Learning outcomes increased in the pre-action stage by 31.25%, increased in cycle 1 to 74.29%, and increased again in cycle 2 by 91.42%.
