Abstract

Student?óÔé¼Ôäós interest in history learning in X MIA 7 SMA Negeri 1 Rembang has been not optimal yet. This research aims to explain the application of discovery-inquiry learning model based on the historical studies and batik local Lasem culture on culture acculturation matter as an effort to increase student?óÔé¼Ôäós interest in historical learning. This research is a classroom action research which consist of two cycles. Each cycle was done through planning, acting, observing and reflecting. Student?óÔé¼Ôäós interest in historical learning variable consist of four indicators are attention, relevance, confidence and satisfaction indicators. Attention indicator data got by observing technique and relevance, confidence and satisfaction data got by quesionaire technique.The student?óÔé¼Ôäós interest in historical learning score in cycle I was 149 (37%). After he first cycle of action, the achievement score of student?óÔé¼Ôäós interest on historical learning was 224 (62%). In cycle 1 it was found out that the achievemnat score of some indicators not good. Then the researcher did the same thing as in cycle I. The achievement score of student?óÔé¼Ôäós interest was 291 (73%). With this learning model, student?óÔé¼Ôäós attention, relevance, confidence, and satisfaction toward learning could be increased. Therefore, discovery-inquiry learning based on historical studies and batik local Lasem culture can be used as one alternative of learning model to be applied in historical learning for increasing the student?óÔé¼Ôäós interest on historical learning.Key words: Batik local Lasem culture; Student?óÔé¼Ôäós interest on historical learning; discoveryinquiry learning model; historical studiesAbstrakMinat belajar sejarah siswa kelas X MIA 7 SMA Negeri 1 Rembang, tidak optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan penerapan model pembelajaran discovery-inquiry berbasis studi keilmuan sejarah dan budaya batik lokal Lasem pada materi akulturasi budaya bagi siswa sebagai upaya meningkatkan minat belajar sejarah siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan class action research yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Setiap siklus meliputi langkah perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Variabel minat belajar sejarah siswa terdiri dari empat indikator yaitu indikator perhatian, relevansi, keyakinan dan kepuasan. Indikator perhatian diperoleh dengan teknik pengamatan, sedangkan indikator relevansi, keyakinan dan kepuasan diperoleh dengan teknik kuesioner. Perolehan skor minat belajar sejarah siswa pada prasiklus mencapai skor 149 (37%). Setelah tindakan siklus I, pencapaian skor minat belajar sejarah siswa adalah 224 (62%). Hasil siklus I menunjukkan pencapaian skor yang tidak1 Hasil Penelitian Tahun 20132 Guru SMA Negeri 1 Rembangbagus di beberapa subindikator. Kemudian peneliti melakukan tindakan pada siklus II seperti siklus I. Pencapaian skor minat belajar sejarah siswa mencapai 291 (73%). Dengan model pembelajaran ini perhatian, relevansi, keyakinan dan kepuasan siswa terhadap pembelajaran mengalami peningkatan.Oleh karena itu, model pembelajaran discovert-inquiry berbasis studi keilmuan sejarah dan budaya batik lokal Lasem pada materi akulturasi budaya dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu alternatif model pembelajaran untuk diterapkan pada mata pelajaran sejarah untuk meningkatkan minat belajar sejarah siswa.Kata kunci: Batik lokal Lasem; Minat belajar sejarah; Model pembelajaran discoveryinquiry; Studi keilmuan sejarah

Abstract

The ability to distinguish series and parallel circuits is one of the core abilities that must be mastered before learning various electrical circuits, from simple electrical circuits to complex electrical circuits taught to students at the elementary school to secondary school level. Therefore, this study aims to determine whether there is a significant relationship between student majors during high school and the origin of schools on the ability of students to distinguish series and parallel circuits. This research is quantitative research with an ex-post-facto approach and conducted on students at the University of Mataram Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program with a proportion of 119 respondents (Science Major), 61 people (Social Science Major), 6 people (Language Major) and 7 respondents coming from vocational high schools. Data is collected using test techniques provided through Google Form. Data were analysed using the biserial point correlation. The hypothesis is tested by comparing the value of the biserial point correlation with the value of r product moment. The results showed that the biserial point value between Science Major - Social Science Major, Science Major – Language Major, Social Science Major – Language Major and Senior High School - Vocational School were all below the r product moment value so it can be concluded that there was no significant relationship between the majors of students during high school and the origin of the school's ability to distinguish series and parallel circuits.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the effectiveness of humanitarian feature learning media in enhancing the ability to write a short story class X SMAN 2 Bantul. Research design with a quasi-experimental wich design of a control group of non - equivalence. The sample in this research was 72 students, divided into experimental class ( X. IPA2 ) and the control class (X. IPA 4). The collection of data through tests that test writing short stories, questionnaires, and interviews. T-test calculation results showed that the scores t is greater than t table ( th = 4,804 > tt = 1,980 ) at the significance level of 5% with db 70. Shceffe test calculation results between groups using data posttest control group and the experimental group obtained F count ( F'h = 21.392 ) is greater than the F table ( F't = 3.985 ) with 70 db at significance level of 5 %. This suggests that learning to write short stories using learning media feature of humanity in the experimental group was more effective than learning to write short stories without using learning media feature of humanity in the control group. The questionnaire results showed that the majority of students, 55.5 % feel learning media feature given humanity, capable of inspiring them both in terms of appearance and structure of the short story ideas that include titles, conflict, character, setting, and problem resolution . The works of students who use the medium of learning in the form of human features appear to be more structured , both in terms of the appearance of ideas ranging from story ideas, titles, and logical thinking as well as the structure of the short story ( plot, setting, and characterization). Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengindentifikasi berbagai kesalahan gramatikal berdasarkan Surface Strategy Taxonomy dan frekuensi kemunculannya serta untuk mengetahui berbagai macam problematika mahasiswa ketika menulis teks dalam bahasa Inggris. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif-kuantitatif dengan instrument berupa tes tertulis berbentuk esai dan kuesioner.  Teks deskriptif berbahasa Inggris yang ditulis oleh mahasiswa semester tiga merupakan objek dari penelitian ini. Teks-teks tersebut kemudian dianalisis berdasarkan teori Surface Strategy Taxonomy  yang dikemukakan oleh Dulay. Dari hasil analisis teks, peneliti menemukan 4 jenis kesalahan gramatikal yang sesuai dengan teori Dulay. 4 jenis kesalahan tersebut berupa Omission (68.31%), Addition (9.6%), Misformation (8.45%), dan Misordering (2.11%).  Berbagai macam problematika yang dihadapi mahasiswa ketika menulis diantaranya adalah lemahnya pemahaman tentang tenses, lemahnya penguasaan vocabulary, pemilihan leksikal yang tidak tepat dala kalimat, dan penyusunan struktur kalimat yang salah dalam teks. Dalam hal ini, mahasiswa masih menuliskan teks dengan memakai struktur kalimat bahasa asli atau bahasa Indonesia.  Kata Kunci: kesalahan gramatikal, deskriptif teks, Surface Strategy Taxonomy.

Abstract

The morfosyntactical errors in students?óÔé¼Ôäó writing composition have been a phenomenon that both writing teachers and other faculty members have complained about. Those errors are not only made by junior students, but also made by senoir students at the university level. One of the reasons of making those morfosyntactical errors is that our students still use their background knowledge of Indonesian sentences?óÔé¼Ôäó structure in their English writing.?é?á?é?á The main objective of this research is to investigate the influence of schemata of Indonesian language structure toward the ill-formedness of English sentences. In brief, this research studies the morfosyntax elements that can cause the formation of ill-formed sentences, the types of ill-formed sentences made by Indonesian students in writing English composition, and also to investigate the students?óÔé¼Ôäó difficuties in writing English. The data of this research was taken from the 3rd semester students of the English Education Department of IKIP PGRI Semarang. The researchers collected the data by (1) Observation and mid semester test result to choose the students. Those who got the score 75 or upper were choosen as the repondents. (2) Questionnaire, and (3) The writing test. From the findings, it was found that the schemata of Indonesian language structure give a significant influence toward the ill-formedness of students?óÔé¼Ôäó English sentences. The most frequent types of ill-formedness are from: noun form and tenses. This fact indicates that our students have difficulty mostly in those two types of topic. Abstract

Block play is the ability in constructive activities by building complex buildings using unit blocks that can improve the ability of eye and hand coordination, train fine motor skills, train children in problem solving, games that give children freedom of imagination, so that new things can created as a child's creativity a creative idea. The rationale for this improvement in learning is the lack of creativity in children. The purpose of this study are: 1) to know that through the direct practice method can increase creativity in forming building blocks in children, 2) to find out the magnitude of the increase in creativity in forming building blocks through direct practice methods in children Group A Kindergarten State Temanggung Regency Semester I 2016/2017 Academic Year. The subjects of this study were 15 students of Group A of TK Kindergarten in Temanggung Regency. Data collection methods used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The conclusion of this study is that playing building blocks has proven to be effective in increasing the creativity of children in Group A of Temanggung District Kindergarten 2016/2017 Academic Year. This is indicated by the achievement of completeness criteria in the classroom action research that has been carried out. Completeness of learning outcomes of children who get very good grades from Cycle I to Cycle II has increased by 60%, so that from the initial condition to Cycle II it has increased by 73.3%. In the performance indicators the researchers determined 80% of children could show their creativity, in Cycle II it had exceeded the expected target of 86.7% of children being able to show their creativity in creating a form using building blocks and telling the results of their work.

Abstract

The formulation of the problem of this research was how much improvement of the students?óÔé¼Ôäó activity and learning outcomes, and the change of the students?óÔé¼Ôäó behavior by using Project Based Learning Model for the students of Class XI IPA 5 of SMA Negeri 3 Demak. This PTK was done in two cycles. There was a changing in learning behavior from the students?óÔé¼Ôäó enthusiasm in learning, the interaction between the students and the teacher, the interaction between the students themselves, the teamwork, the students?óÔé¼Ôäó activity in group discussion, the students?óÔé¼Ôäó efforts in following the learning process, and the students?óÔé¼Ôäó participation in concluding the learning material. The result of cycle 1 was 28 (65,12 %) of the students completed the learning process, and 15 (34,88 %) did not complete the learning process. The class average was 71,74 in cycle 1 and increased to 81,35 in cycle 2. Keywords: project based learning method, learning activity, learning achievement.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengimplementasikan model pengelolaankurikulum pendidikan karakter integratif di Universitas PGRI Semarang. Penelitian inimerupakan penelitian tahun kedua dari penelitian yang berjudul “Pengembangan ModelPengelolaan Kurikulum Pendidikan Karakter Integratif di Universitas PGRI Semarang”.Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif. Subyek penelitian terdiri dari KepalaProgram Studi, Sekretaris Program Studi, Dosen, Mahasiswa dilingkungan FPIPSKR. Teknikpengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumen. Teknik validitas datamenggunakan triangulasi data. Teknik analisis data menggunakan nvivo. Hasil penelitianmenunjukkan bahwa implementasi model pengelolaan kurikulum pendidikan karakterintegratif di Universitas PGRI Semarang sudah dilakukan sesuai ketentuan tetapi hasilnyabelum maksimal. Hal ini disebabkan oleh beberapa hal, diantaranya adalah tidak semua pihakmempunyai komitmen yang tinggi dalam mengimplementasikan pendidikan karakter, baikpihak program studi, dosen dan mahasiswa dan keterbatasan sarana prasarana pendukungpendidikan karakter.Kata Kunci: Implementasi, Model, Pengelolaan, Kurikulum, Pendidikan KarakterIntegratif
