Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan profil kemampuan calon guru sekolah dasar dalam membedakan rangkaian seri dan rangkaian paralel. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Sampel diambil secara acak (random sampling) sebanyak 195 orang mahasiswa calon guru sekolah dasar di salah satu universitas negeri di kota Mataram, Nusa Tenggara Barat. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes sebanyak 40 butir soal berbentuk  pilihan ganda dengan dua opsi jawaban. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan peresentase ketercapaian per indikator dan dikatagorikan berdasarkan kriteria yang ditetapkan.Berdasarkan persentase jawaban mahasiswa pada masing-masing indikator diperoleh bahwa pada besaran satuan rangkaian listrik katagori baik, pada alat ukur listrik katagori cukup, pada susunan rangkaian listrik katagori kurang, pada karakteristik rangkaian berdasarkan arus listrik kategori cukup, pada karakteristik rangkaian berdasarkan tegangan listrik katagori cukup, serta pada karakteristik rangkaian berdasarkan daya listrik adalah katagori cukup. Secara keseluruhan mahasiswa calon guru sekolah dasar cukup mampu membedakan rangkaian seri dan rangkaian paralel.

Abstract

Tujuan dari studi ini adalah menganalisis potensi amfibi sebagai model untuk pengembangan media dan alat peraga pembelajaran sains sekolah dasar (SD). Analisis potensi dilakukan dengan mensinkronisasi aspek-aspek sains amfibi dan sains SD menggunakan metode komparatif. Aspek sains amfibi diperoleh melalui hasil review dokumen, sedangkan aspek sains SD mengacu pada permendikbud No. 37 Tahun 2018. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa amfibi memiliki potensi sebagai model untuk mengembangkan media dan alat peraga pembelajaran sains SD. Untuk kelas IV, pemanfaatan amfibi sebagai model dapat dilakukan pada KD 3.1, KD 3.2, dan KD 3.8. Di kelas V, terdapat 6 KD pengetahuan yang dapat memanfaatkan amfibi yaitu KD 3.1 – KD 3.5, dan KD 3.8. Adapun untuk di kelas VI, terdapat KD 3.1 dan KD 3.3 yang sesuai untuk menjadikan amfibi sebagai model dalam pembelajaran sains SD.

Abstract

The ability to distinguish series and parallel circuits is one of the core abilities that must be mastered before learning various electrical circuits, from simple electrical circuits to complex electrical circuits taught to students at the elementary school to secondary school level. Therefore, this study aims to determine whether there is a significant relationship between student majors during high school and the origin of schools on the ability of students to distinguish series and parallel circuits. This research is quantitative research with an ex-post-facto approach and conducted on students at the University of Mataram Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program with a proportion of 119 respondents (Science Major), 61 people (Social Science Major), 6 people (Language Major) and 7 respondents coming from vocational high schools. Data is collected using test techniques provided through Google Form. Data were analysed using the biserial point correlation. The hypothesis is tested by comparing the value of the biserial point correlation with the value of r product moment. The results showed that the biserial point value between Science Major - Social Science Major, Science Major – Language Major, Social Science Major – Language Major and Senior High School - Vocational School were all below the r product moment value so it can be concluded that there was no significant relationship between the majors of students during high school and the origin of the school's ability to distinguish series and parallel circuits.

Abstract

ABSTRAKDalam dunia akademisi plagiarisme merupakan suatu perbuatan tidak terpuji karena merupakan tindakan mencuri ide atau gagasan orang lain. Namun demikian, tindakan plagiarisme masih sering dilakukan mahasiswa dalam menulis karya tulis ilmiah. Untuk mengatasi persoalan itu maka dilakukan sosialisasi wawasan plagiarisme karya tulis ilmiah sebagai bentuk kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang ditujukan kepada mahasiswa PGSD. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberi pemahaman yang baik kepada mahasiswa tentang definisi plagiarisme, ruang lingkup plagiarisme, faktor penyebab plagiarisme, tipe plagiarisme dan sanksinya, cara menghindari plagiarisme, simulasi cek plagiarisme dan teknik parafrasa. Metode Pelaksanaan sosialisasi kegiatan dilakukan secara daring (online) melalui media zoom meeting. Dari hasil pre test dan post test menunjukan bahwa terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan pemahaman mahasiswa tentang plagiarisme. Wawasan tentang plagiarisme sangat penting dalam menunjang keberhasilan mahasiswa dalam menulis karya ilmiah yang bebas plagiat. Kata kunci: wawasan plagiarisme; karya tulis ilmiah ABSTRACTIn the academic world, plagiarism is an act that is not commendable because it is an act of stealing other people's ideas or ideas. However, plagiarism is still often done by students in writing scientific papers. To overcome this problem, socialization of plagiarism insights into scientific writings was carried out as a form of community service activity aimed at PGSD students. This activity aims to give students a good understanding of the definition of plagiarism, the scope of plagiarism, the causes of plagiarism, the types of plagiarism and its sanctions, how to avoid plagiarism, simulation of plagiarism checks and paraphrasing techniques. Methods of the socialization of activities is carried out online through zoom meeting. The results of the pre test and post test showed that there was a significant increase in students' understanding of plagiarism. Insight about plagiarism is very important in supporting the success of students in writing plagiarism-free scientific papers. Keywords: plagiarism insight;scientific writing

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran Hands on Activity terhadap kemampuan komunikasi tertulis siswa kelas V SDN 34 Cakranegara pada materi pecahan.  Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dan desain ini adalah one group pretest-posttest design. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD 34 Cakranegara. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah kesuluruhan populasi yang dipilih secara purposive random sampling. Berdasarkan hasil tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis diperoleh rata-rata nilai pretest sebesar 49, 36 dan nilai posttest diperoleh rata-rata nilai 65, 62. Hasil Uji t diperoleh  (dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05 dengan df 23) yaitu 3,872 > 2,056 maka  ditolak, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Hands on Activity  terhadap kemampuan komunikasi tertulis siswa pada materi pecahan di kelas V SDN 34 Cakranegara.

Abstract

Mathematical literacy is an ability that is needed by students in this changing era. Mathematical literacy can be seen from the ability to formulate contextual problems mathematically; using facts, concepts, and mathematical procedures; as well as interpreting and evaluating mathematical outcomes well. One of the factors that cause students' good mathematical literacy is teacher's good mathematics literacy. The purpose of this study is to describe the mathematical literacy abilities of pre-service elementary school teacher in solving PISA problems about shape and space. This research method is qualitative-descriptive. The subjects of the study were pre-service elementary school teachers, each with high, medium, and low cognitive abilities. The results showed that high-ability pre-service teacher were able to demonstrate good mathematical literacy performance, which was able to fulfil all three aspects namely formulating mathematical problems; use mathematical concepts and procedures well; and interpret mathematical answers well in the context of the problem. Medium-ability pre-service teachers are not able to meet several indicators on aspects of formulating problems and using mathematical concepts and procedures. Low-ability pre-service teachers cannot fulfil all indicators on aspects of using mathematical concepts and procedures properly.

Abstract

This research aims to develop science interactive students’ worksheets oriented to higher-order thinking skills for the fifth elementary school students. The developed student worksheet aims to provoke and familiarize students with their higher-order thinking ability. The cognitive domain of higher-order thinking skills involved is analytical skills. The 4D development model (define, design, develop, and disseminate) was used in this study. The data in this study were collected using a validation sheet. Data analysis was carried out in a quantitative descriptive. The development results showed that science interactive students worksheets oriented to higher-order thinking skills developed were valid with an average score of 3.33. Secondly, the score for the practicality of using the science interactive students’ worksheets was 3.69 and 3.38 according to teachers and students, respectively. In conclusion, the science interactive students’ worksheets oriented towards higher-order thinking skills, are valid and practical to be used by students of the fifth-grade elementary school.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the conceptual understanding of prospective elementary school teacher students on the concept of geometrical space which includes the relationship between lines and planes as well as lines and lines in geometrical space using Android games. The Android game used was XSection. This research is a quasi-experimental study with a pretest-posttest control group design. The sample in this study was taken using a cluster random sampling technique and obtained class 3C as an experimental class, namely the class that learns using Android-based educational games and 3D class as the control class, namely the class that learns without using Android-based educational games. Data regarding conceptual understanding were obtained by the multiple-choice tests and data were analyzed using independent sample t-test and normalized gain test. The results showed that the experimental class showed a significant increase in understanding the concept of geometrical space compared to the control class. The post-test average score of students' conceptual understanding in the experimental class was higher than the control class so that the Android-based education game was effective in improving students' understanding of the concept of geometrical space for prospective elementary school teachers.

Abstract

The instrument for measuring knowledge in the subject of Elementary School Curriculum Study and Development has been created to measure students' understanding of teacher candidates in applying concepts, implications and curriculum development at the elementary school level. In order to make reliable and feasible instrument for measuring students knowledge in the subject of Elementary School Curriculum Study and Development, this study aims to produce empirical evidence about the validity and reliability of test instruments using the Rasch model analysis. The study was conducted by testing 20 items on 142 elementary school teacher candidate at one of the State Universities in the City of Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara. The validity and reliability of the instrument were measured by the Rasch analysis model using the Winstep program. The one-dimensional testing of 20 items has a variance measured at 42.7% which exceeds the minimum points of 40.0% desired by the Rasch model. The reliability index of the respondents was 0.65 and the item reliability index was 0.98. All items show a positive value for Point Measure Correlation (PMC) in terms of item polarity which means there is no conflict between the item and the construct being measured. Outfit Mean Square value also shows that all items that almost all items have an MNSQ Outfit value smaller than 1.5 which means the measurement value can be said to be productive except for item 13 (3.77) and item 16 (3.77). Both of these items need to be re-examined because they have problems in measuring their validity. The results of this study have proven that the knowledge measurement test instrument in the Elementary School Curriculum Study and Development course has validity and reliability values that meet and are empirically feasible to be used in measuring Basic School Curriculum Study and Development knowledge for prospective teacher students.

Abstract

Model pembelajaran yang sesuai merupakan bagian penting dalam kegiatan proses belajar dalam mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang direncanakan. Tujuan artikel penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) terhadap self-efficacy (efikasi diri) dan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik selaku calon pendidik. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif berpendekatan kuasi eksperimen dengan one group pretest-postest design dengan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa lembar penilaian berbasis Physics Self Efficacy Scale dengan teknik analisis deskriptif untuk mengukur efikasi diri dan soal tes bentuk essay dengan teknik analisis paired sample t-test dan N-Gain untuk mengukur peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa efikasi diri peserta didik Aspek efikasi diri dalam menyelesaikan masalah fisika peserta didik sebesar 79%, Aspek efikasi diri dalam mempelajari fisika peserta didik sebesar 81%, Aspek efikasi diri dalam menerapkan pengetahuan fisika peserta didik sebesar 75%, Aspek efikasi diri dalam mengingat pengetahuan fisika peserta didik sebesar 78%, Aspek efikasi diri dalam melakukan percobaan fisika peserta didik sebesar 82%. Sebaliknya, kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik menunjukkan bahwa t-hitung > t-tabel yaitu 25.562 > 2. 446 maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. N-Gain diperoleh sebesar 0.68 artinya teradapat pengaruh dan mengalami peningkatan yang cukup signifikan. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model PjBL dalam pembelajaran fisika berpengaruh terhadap efikasi diri dan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik sebagai calon pendidik.
