Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that most influence the rate of recovery of pulmonary tuberculosis patients using the Cox Proportional Hazard model. In the case of the cure rate of pulmonary tuberculosis patients, not all independent variables meet the proportional hazard assumption, so the stratified cox regression model is used. The stratified cox regression model used is the stratified cox model with interaction and without interaction involving pulmonary tuberculosis patients in one of the Gorontalo Hospitals. The results showed that the variables of shortness of breath, previous pulmonary tuberculosis patients, and smoking habits were the most significant factors affecting the recovery rate of pulmonary tuberculosis patients.

Abstract

Learning mathematics requires students to understand concepts, the low understanding of students' concepts becomes an obstacle in learning. So that the researchers used the background to apply the Index Card Match (ICM) learning model. This study aims to improve understanding of mathematical concepts using the Index Card Match (ICM) learning model on arithmetic sequences and series material. This research is a classroom action research. The research subjects were students of class XI TKJ SMK Negeri 1 Batudaa for the academic year 2022/2023 with a total of 28 students. The techniques used in data collection are observation and tests. The data analysis technique in this study is the analysis of observation of teacher activities, student activities and tests of understanding mathematical concepts. The design used in this study is the research design of the Kammis and Mc Taggart models. The research procedure includes planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The study consisted of 2 cycles. The results showed that the implementation of learning using the Index Card Match learning model on arithmetic sequences and series materials could improve students' understanding of mathematical concepts. This is evidenced by the average results of the mathematical concept understanding test in the first cycle which is 63.57, increasing in the second cycle to 81.42 with the percentage of observations of teacher activities in the first cycle reaching 71.15% while the second cycle reaches 86.53% and the percentage the results of the observation of student activity in the first cycle reached 65.17%, an increase in the second cycle reached 83.92%. Based on the research above, there are benefits in applying the Index Card Match (ICM) learning model, namely, in order to increase understanding of mathematical concepts and foster motivation and interest in learning mathematics.

Abstract

Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) is a multivariate statistical method. in addition, SEM is a method that is able to disclose the simultaneous correlation between indicator variables (which are directly observed) and latent variables (which are not directly observed). Information and communication technology developments facilitate the growth of the digital economy. One form of implementing technology and information in the growth of the digital economy is conducting non-cash transaction. Furthermore, digital financial service are financial service that use digital technology through third paties, namely without intermediaries from banks and the general public. Technological development change business activities in financial service, especially in the digital world. The use of a QR (Quick Response) code payment system is a system that is currently popular. On January 1, 2020, Bank Indonesia officially released a standart for using the Indonesian QR code called Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS). Thus, this research aimed to determine the factors affecting MSME customers’ interest in using QRIS as a payment method. This research employed 97 respondents’ responses obtained from distributing questionnaires to MSME (Micro, Small, and medium Enterprises) in Gorontalo City, in which the respondents were the customer who often used QRIS as the payment method. The finding indicated that public understanding and convenience affected customers’ interest in using QRIS as a payment mtehod. In comparison, the benefits and obstacles did not significantly affect customers’ interest in using QRIS as a payment method.

Abstract

AbstrakTujuan dari peneIitian ini adaIah untuk mengembangkan video pembelajaran interaktif berbantuan aplikasi filmora pada materi persamaan kuadrat kelas IX SMP Negeri 1 Dulupi. PeneIitian pengembangan ini menggunakan metode Research and DeveIopment (R&D) dan modeI 4-D (Four D Model) yang memiIiki empat tahapan yaitu Define, Design, Develop dan Desiminate. Melalui tahapan 4-D dihasilkan media pembelajaran interaktif dengan hasil analisis pada tahap uji ahli dengan hasil validasi ahli media dan ahli materi memperoleh rata-rata persentase 81,30% yang dikategorikan "Sangat Valid Digunakan". Kelayakan media diperoleh melalui hasil uji keterbacaan media oleh 6 orang siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 1 Dulupi 90,53%, dengan kriteria “Sangat Layak Digunakan”. Kepraktisan media diperoleh melalui angket respon siswa dan guru matematika SMP Negeri 1 Dulupi terhadap video pebeIajaran interaktif berbantuan aplikasi filmora. Hasil angket respon siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 1 Dulupi 93,47 % , hasil angket respon guru matematika SMP Negeri 1 Dulupi 80,35% dengan kriteria “Sangat Praktis Digunakan”. Kesimpulan bahwa video pebeIajaran interaktif berbantuan aplikasi filmora valid, layak, dan praktis untuk dapat diimplementasikan atau digunakan dalam pembelajaran matematika di kelas.Kata Kunci: Video Interaktif, Filmora, Persamaan Kuadrat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan guna untuk melihat pengaruh multimedia interaktif terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi sistem koordinat. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan subjek penelitian yang diklasifikasikan menjadi dua yakni VIII-A selaku kelas eksperimen serta VIII-B selaku kelas kontrol pada populasi MTs Negeri 2 Bolaang Mongondow Utara. Dengan desain penelitian pre-test post-test control group design. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu melalui instrumen tes setelah proses pembelajaran yang didasarkan pada indikator. Untuk mengukur hasil belajar peserta didik menggunakan pre-test dan post -test. Pengolahan data memakai analisis deskriptif memperlihatkan bahwasannya rata-rata hasil belajar peserta didik kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi jika diperbandingkan kelas kontrol. Adapun hasil analisis inferensial memperlihatkan bahwasannya kedua data berdistribusi normal serta homogen sehingga dilanjutkan dengan uji analisis kovarian (anacova) dan diperoleh hasil ditolak serta  diterima. Sehingga hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar peserta didik lebih tinggi setelah dibelajarkan menggunakan multimedia interaktif dibandingkan dengan menggunakan power point.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematik asiswa pada materi himpunan melalui model pembelajaran open ended. Penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 1 Batudaa pada tahun ajaran 2022-2023. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan melibatkan 26 siswa sebagai subjek penelitian. Istrumen yang digunakan berupa lembar pengamatan kegiatan guru, lembar pengamatan kegiatan siswa, dan tes hasil belajar siswa. Hasil pengamatan kegiatan guru menunjukkan kategori minimal baik atau sangat baik dengan presentase 97,06% sedangkan hasil pengamatan kegiatan siswa menunjukkan kategori minimal baik atau sangat baik dengan presentase 90%.Adapun tes hasil belajar menunjukkan bahwa banyaknya siswa yang mencapai nilai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal adalah 23siswa (88,46%) dan tidak tuntas sebanyak 3 orang siswa (11,54%). Jadi, rata-rata hasil belajar matematika siswa pada materi himpunan telah memenuhi indicator keberhasilan belajar.

Abstract

Inappropriate teaching models can hinder the effectiveness of learning and negatively impact students' learning outcomes. Conversely, the implementation of suitable teaching models can provide a better learning experience and support the achievement of learning objectives. The Osborn teaching model is one appropriate approach to enhancing students' learning outcomes, especially in the topic of sets. This model emphasizes active student participation in generating ideas and problem-solving through brainstorming techniques. By granting students the freedom to express themselves and collaborate within groups, the Osborn model helps increase student engagement in learning and enrich their understanding of the subject matter. Therefore, through the implementation of the Osborn teaching model, it is expected that students' learning outcomes in the topic of sets will significantly improve. Research results confirm that the application of the Osborn model has a significant positive impact on students' learning outcomes in the subject of sets. There was a consistent improvement from cycle I to cycle II, where average learning outcomes increased significantly. This improvement was observed in the affective, psychomotor, and cognitive domains, with percentages increasing from the previous cycle. Evaluations conducted in each cycle demonstrate the effectiveness of the Osborn model in deepening students' understanding of set concepts. The final results indicate that the average learning outcomes of students have met the minimum success indicator of 80%, illustrating that the implementation of the Osborn model has successfully enhanced overall student learning achievements in understanding the set material.

Abstract

This study aims to know whether or not there is an influence between the learning outcomes of students who are taught using the TGT cooperative learning model and that of using direct learning in terms of student motivation. This is a quasi experimental study using Treatment By Level design which is carried out in class XI SMA in Wonosari in the even semester of the 2022/2023 academic year. The study samples are the students in class XI, totalling 71 students. The data are obtained from instruments in the form of   multiple choice and questionnaires. Each is used to test mathematics learning outcomes and student motivation. Data analysis uses a two-way analysis of variance and a    Scheffe test. The findings show that: 1) The learning outcomes of students who are taught using the TGT learning model are higher than that of using the direct learning model. This content evidenced results obtained Fcount = 12.701 and Ftable = 3.98, so Fcount  > Ftable  causes the (H1) to be accepted. 2) There is interaction influence between the learning model and students' motivation on students' mathematics learning outcomes. This content evidenced results obtained Fcount = 5.1913 and Ftable = 3.98, so Fcount > Ftable causes the (H1 ) to be accepted. 3) The learning outcomes of students with high motivation who are taught using the TGT learning model are higher than that of using direct learning model. This content evidenced results obtained Fcount = 16.472 and Ftable   = 3.74, so Fcount  >   Ftable  causes the (H1 ) to be accepted. 4) The learning outcomes of students with low motivation who are taught using the TGT learning model are lower than that of using direct learning model. This content evidenced results obtained Fcount = 1.420 and Ftable = 3.74, so Fcount < Ftable causes the (H0 ) to be accepted.

Abstract

Mathematics is a foundational subject essential for the advancement of technology and various scientific disciplines. This study aims to enhance the mathematics learning outcomes of class XI-C students at SMA Muhammadiyah Batudaa through the use of circle board learning media. Conducted as classroom action research during the 2023/2024 academic year, the study involved 28 students from class XI-C. Data collection methods included tests and observations, utilizing essay tests and observation sheets to assess teacher and student activities. The findings reveal that implementing circle board learning media significantly improved student learning outcomes on circle tangent material. Observations showed notable increases in teacher activity: from 70% to 95% in preliminary activities, 69,4% to 97,2% in core activities, and 68,7% to 93,7% in closing activities. Similarly, student activity observations improved from 75% to 90% in preliminary activities, 67,8% to 92,8% in core activities, and 58,3% to 91,6% in closing activities. These results demonstrate that the use of circle board learning media effectively enhances students' mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research aims to enhance students' learning outcomes using the Problem-Based Learning model on the topic of Transformation. This study is a classroom action research conducted collaboratively between researchers and teachers involving 30 students in class IX of Satap Tobongon Public Junior High School in the academic year 2023/2024. The research was conducted in two cycles, each comprising three meetings. Instruments used in this study included teacher activity observation sheets, student activity observation sheets, attitude assessment sheets, skill assessment sheets, and learning outcome tests. Data collection was performed through observations and written tests. The research results indicate that the observed teacher activity, categorized as good and very good, increased from 69.44% to 86.11%. Similarly, the observed student activity, categorized as good and very good, increased from 59.38% to 84.38%. Students' learning outcomes improved in the cognitive domain from 66.67% to 86.67%, in the affective domain from 65.00% to 85.83%, and in the psychomotor domain from 67.50% to 85.00%. Thus, all assessment aspects have achieved the learning success indicators in cycle II through the use of the Problem-Based Learning model.
