Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara dengan salah satu guru matematika di SMP Negeri 8 Denpasar menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar Matematika peserta didik rendah. Hal ini disebabkan oleh kurangnya motivasi dan ketertarikan peserta didik dalam mengikuti pembelajaran Matematika serta terlihat juga bahwa pembelajaran masih berfokus pada guru bukan kepada peserta didik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 5E. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari dua siklus, dimulai dengan pra-siklus. Setiap siklus melibatkan perencanaan, pelaksanaan atau tindakan, pengamatan atau observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu peserta didik kelas VIII H Tahun Ajaran 2023/2024 di SMP Negeri 8 Denpasar yang berjumlah 40 orang peserta didik. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi lembar observasi dan tes hasil belajar peserta didik. Adapun hasil dari penelitian yang dilaksanakan adalah pada Siklus I persentase peserta didik yang tuntas adalah 52,5% kemudian meningkat di Siklus II dengan persentase ketuntasan 82,5% dikarenakan sudah memenuhi ketuntasan klasikal yang ditetapkan maka penelitian dihentikan pada Siklus II. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran Matematika dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 5E.

Abstract

Problem based learning merupakan model pembelajaran yang mendorong peserta didik untuk lebih aktif dan memaksimalkan kemampuan berpikir kritis untuk mendapatkan solusi dari masalah pada dunia nyata. Namun masih banyak peserta didik yang mengalami permasalahan dalam pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perbedaan keefektifan pendekatan realistic mathematics education dengan model problem based learning ditinjau dari kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan hasil belajar matematika peserta didik di sekolah. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi experiment. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas X SMAN 7 Denpasar Tahun Pelajaran 2023/2024 dan diambil dua kelas secara acak yaitu kelas X.1 dan kelas X.2. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah soal tes pemecahan masalah dan soal hasil belajar matematika pada materi barisan dan deret. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) ada peningkatan keefektifan hasil belajar matematika dengan pendekatan realistic mathematics education dengan model problem based learning ditinjau dari kemampuan pemecahan masalah, (2) ada peningkatan efektivitas hasil belajar matematika melalui pendekatan realistic mathematics education ditinjau dari kemampuan pemecahan masalah, dan (3) terdapat perbedaan keefektifan antara pendekatan realistic mathematics education dengan model problem based learning ditinjau dari kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan hasil belajar matematika peserta didik pada materi barisan dan deret secara bersamaan.

Abstract

Bongkasa Pertiwi Village, Abiansemal District, Badung Regency, is a highland area where the community maintains strong traditions, including raising Balinese pigs for both traditional and economic purposes. Balinese pigs have a genetic advantage in the form of high fat content, making them highly sought after as raw material for suckling pigs. However, since late 2021, pig farming in Bali has faced a serious threat in the form of an African Swine Fever (ASF) outbreak, which has caused mass deaths with a mortality rate of nearly 100%. This situation is exacerbated by the lack of understanding among farmers regarding disease prevention and management. This Community Service Program was implemented to address two main issues: (1) preventing the spread of ASF, and (2) developing Balinese pig fattening. The activities included outreach, training, mentoring, and the implementation of biosecurity practices in the barn. Additionally, training was provided on formulating high-fat, low-fiber feed to support optimal fattening. The results of this activity demonstrated improved knowledge and skills among farmers in implementing biosecurity measures, such as routine disinfection, pen waste management, and livestock movement restrictions. Farmers were also able to practice producing alternative feed based on local ingredients with a nutritional composition tailored to the needs of fattening Bali pigs. The resulting impacts included a reduced susceptibility to ASF, an average 12–15% increase in daily pig weight during the fattening period, and increased collective awareness among livestock groups for more professional business management. Thus, this activity not only provides a short-term solution to the ASF threat but also encourages the independence and sustainability of livestock groups in increasing Bali pig productivity, ultimately contributing to the economic resilience of village communities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the planning, implementation, and evaluation processes of facilities and infrastructure management at State Elementary School 11 Sesetan Denpasar to support the creation of an effective, comfortable, and efficient learning environment. Employing a qualitative approach with a case study design, data were collected through direct observation, in-depth interviews with school stakeholders, and document analysis. The findings show that facilities planning is carried out systematically and collaboratively, involving teachers, school leaders, and committees. The school adopts a digital inventory system to optimise asset management, while regular evaluations are conducted monthly, semiannually, and annually to ensure continuous improvement. The study concludes that structured and participatory facility management contributes significantly to improving the quality of educational services and fostering a conducive learning atmosphere. These results offer practical implications for educational policymakers and school administrators in developing adaptive and innovative school facility management strategies in response to the evolving demands of basic education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and evaluate the concept of mindful learning-based mathematics instruction at the Center of Excellence School, SMK Negeri 5 Denpasar. This study used a mixed methods approach that combines quantitative and qualitative analysis, involving teachers and students as respondents. The research instrument was a teacher and student questionnaire that underwent validity and reliability testing. The test results showed that all statement items had an r-value above 0.30 and a Cronbach's Alpha value above 0.90, thus declaring the instrument valid and reliable. The data analysis revealed that teachers had a positive perception of the implementation of mindful learning-based mathematics instruction, as it was considered capable of increasing student learning awareness, focus, and active engagement in the learning process. Meanwhile, the analysis of student questionnaires indicated that the mindful learning approach provided a more reflective learning experience, increased learning motivation, and helped students understand mathematical concepts more deeply. The findings of this study indicate that the concept of mindful learning-based mathematics instruction has the potential to improve the quality of mathematics instruction in vocational education and is relevant for implementation at SMK Negeri 5 Denpasar as a Center of Excellence School.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a digital-based mathematics learning model with a differentiation approach that suits the characteristics of tenth-grade students at SMAN 7 Denpasar. The study used a mixed methods approach, combining qualitative exploration through interviews, observations, and focus group discussions (FGDs) with teachers and education experts, as well as quantitative measurement through questionnaires to assess the model's effectiveness and acceptability. The results show that the developed model consists of four main components: digital data-based differentiation planning, adaptive learning implementation through an interactive platform, integrated digital assessment, and adaptive reflection and feedback. The implementation of this model increased student engagement, motivation, and mathematics learning outcomes by 12–18% compared to conventional learning, while simultaneously reducing mathematics learning anxiety. This model provides practical guidance for teachers in designing learning that is responsive to differences in student abilities and learning styles. The research findings confirm that digital integration and learning differentiation are strategic innovations for improving the quality of mathematics learning in the digital era and supporting the implementation of the Independent Curriculum.
