This study aims to identify the types of plants that have the potential as a source of food. Knowing the behavior of Long-tailed Monkeys in the Wolo Tadho Nature Reserve Area. The method used in this study was the Focal animal sampling method, where observations of animal movements began in 3 periods, namely (a) period I (07.00 to 09.00 WITA), (b) period II (11.00 to 13.00 WITA) and (c) period III (15.00 to 17.00 WITA) with a time interval of 10 minutes. Observations were conducted on one individual Long-tailed Macaque (Macaca fascicularis) and its behavior was followed and recorded using One Zero Sampling. One Zero Sampling is the recording of the dominant behavior within the time interval of an observation session. The results of the study found the number of plants that have the potential as a food source in the Wolo Tadho Nature Reserve area there are 15 types of plants known to be selected by long-tailed monkeys (Macaca fascicularis) as food. The most dominant vegetation types are Lamtoro (Leucaena leucocephala), Tamarind (Tamarindus indica L) and Mangrove (Rhizophora apiculata) and the daily behavior of long-tailed monkeys (Macaca fascicularis) which is often done is moving 31%. Abstract

Community forests are forests located on land encumbered by property rights. Community forest development is built with the aim of reactivating uncultivated land or idle land to make it more productive so that it can increase the income of community forest farmers while maintaining its ecological functions. One proof of the success of community forest management in NTT occurred in Kobekamusa Village, TTS Regency. The Community Forest Program in Kobekamusa Village is managed by the Hetven Forest Farmers Group, which takes care of 25 ha of local community land that is part of the Kobekamusa Community Forest. The existence of KTH Hetven in managing the Kobekamusa Community Forest has not been able to minimize events outside the group's design. From an institutional perspective, KTH Hetven is still a Beginner Class KTH, it does not yet have complete supporting data, such as the Decree on the Establishment of KTH which was only issued in 2021. To determine the effectiveness of KTH Hetven's institutional performance in this study using SWOT analysis which is limited to the assessment of the identification of internal aspects and external aspects that affect the performance of KTH Hetven. From the results of the study, the internal aspects for strengths consisted of, (1) A clear structure of KTH, (2) Members' responsibility to their positions, (3) The group is run with kinship, (4) The existence of self-help efforts, and (5) Planting types of MPTS. Meanwhile, the weaknesses consist of, (1) The group class is still a beginner group, (2) Limited equipment, (3) Wood processing is still not effective, (4) Failure of MPTS plants, and (5) Delay in administrative completeness. The results of research on external aspects for opportunities consist of, (1) Cooperation of KTH with other stakeholders, (2) Broader timber marketing targets, while the threat factors consist of, (1) The intensity of assistance that is still rare, (2) Limited education and training activities, (3) There is still illegal logging, and (4) Inadequate road access.

Abstract

In the Kelimutu National Park area there is a tourist attraction, namely, Lake Kelimutu. The tourist attraction of Lake Kelimutu has a high beauty value, making it always crowded with tourists, both local and foreign. The presence of tourists can be a factor in the level of bird species diversity in the Kelimutu National Park area. This is because birds tend to be sensitive to human presence (Bötsch et al., 2017) so this study aims to determine the diversity of bird species in bird habitats around tourist objects. The method used in collecting data in the field is the path and point method. In data analysis, the method used is the Mackinnon's Species List method. The results of this study indicate that the presence of tourists does not affect the diversity of bird species in habitats around the Lake Kelimutu tourist area.

Abstract

Abstract

Birds are one component of the ecosystem that has an important role. Because ecologically, birds have a role in spreading seeds, helping pollinate plants and as a bio-indicator or supporting component for environmental quality. This research aims to find out the types of birds that are included in the list of protected bird species based on LHK regulation No.P.106/2018. The method used in this research is a combination of the point count method and the transect method. Data analysis in this research uses Shannon-Wiener analysis, namely to calculate species diversity. The results of the research show that of the 63 bird species found, 7 bird species are included in the list of protected species based on LHK regulation No.P.106/2018 and based on the IUCN conservation status, the bird species diversity index is classified as high. The calculation results show the value (H'=3.498). As time goes by, the diversity of bird species in the Mutis Timau Nature Reserve area will decrease or increase according to the adaptability of birds to changes in habitat conditions due to significant climate change or competition with other wild animals.
