Abstract

This study was conducted to analyse the validity of the self determination instrument. The study used a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional survey design with a convenience sample technique of 102 people, consisting of 45 men and 57 women, in junior high schools in West Java, Indonesia. The self-determination instrument was elaborated from Ryan and Deci's Theory, with 17 items and 6 levels of answer choices. Data were analysed using the Rasch Model with the help of Winstep software version 3.73. Analysis of self-determination instrument results through the Rasch model based on aspects of unidimensionality, item analysis (item difficulty level and item suitability level), diagnostic rating scale and instrument analysis. The results of the reliability value of 0.91 so that it can be used as a consideration of measuring instruments to measure self-determination abilities in junior high school students, and the Guidance and Counselling process can be implemented in the need assessment step.

Abstract

Adanya perubahan fisik yang dialami remaja, sering kali membuat mereka mengalami keadaan ketidakpuasan terhadap tubuh. Sehingga citra tubuh yang mereka memiliki cenderung negatif. Dalam menentukan citra tubuh bersifat positif atau negatif diperlukan adanya pengukuran. Dalam melakukan pengukuran dibutuhkan alat ukur yang valid dan reliabel. Pengujian validitas dan reliabilitas salah satunya dapat menggunakan permodelan Rasch. Keunggulan dari pendekatan ini yaitu dapat menghasilkan skala pengukuran dengan interval yang sama untuk memberikan informasi yang akurat mengenai responden dengan item dan itu menjadi alasan penggunaan pendekatan permodelan Rasch dalam menganalisis validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen citra tubuh. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain cross-sectional dengan jumlah partisipan sebanyak 110 orang. Analisis menggunakan permodelan Rasch yang dibantu dengan aplikasi Winstep versi 3.73. Hasilnya penelitian menunjukkan bahwa instrumen citra tubuh memiliki nilai undimentionalitas di bawah 15% yang artinya variabel pada instrumen dapat menggambarkan citra tubuh. Nilai Cronbach Alpha yaitu 0.53 menunjukkan bahwa instrumen tersebut memiliki reliabilitas yang lemah. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan separasi menggunakan rumus didapatkan nilai separasi person 2.56 dan separasi item 8.01. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa instrumen ini dapat mengelompokkan kemampuan individu ke dalam dua kelompok dan penyebaran kesukaran item ke dalam delapan kelompok.

Abstract

 Emotional intelligence is an essential aspect because it can influence individual success or success. Therefore, a valid and reliable emotional intelligence instrument is needed. This research was conducted to analyze the validity and reliability of the emotional intelligence instrument for students. This research was conducted using a quantitative approach and a cross-sectional study design with random sample selection and analysis using the RASCH Model. The RASCH model analysis has the advantage of creating evenly spaced measurement scales to provide accurate information about participants and the quality of the items producedThe results of the analysis show that items from the Emotional Intelligence instrument are well received by college students with Cronbach alphas values that include special categories. This is because it represents the interaction between the respondent and the instrument item. Person reliability score results are included in a special category as a measure of the consistency of responses of respondents.  Item Reliability score are included in a special category as an indicator of the quality of the item items in the instrument.

Abstract

Learning motivation is one of the factors that determine student success. Each student has different motivations when participating in learning at school. The differences in student learning motivation create teaching problems for teachers. Because each student brings different motivation when participating in learning. The purpose of this study is to record the factors that cause low student learning motivation and find the dominant factor in influencing student learning motivation. This research uses the Systematic Literature Review research method. The results showed that there are internal and external factors that affect students' low learning motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to show the influence of BK teachers' understanding of professional ethics and competence on the quality of guidance and counseling services. This research uses a literature review approach obtained by the source through the data base of national and international journal providers found on the google scholar page which is then analyzed. The results of this study concluded that understanding ethics and fulfilling the competence of BK teachers affects the guidance and counseling services provided. Because guidance and counseling services cannot be provided with just anyone, to facilitate the guidance and counseling process, BK teachers must have competencies and realize the code of ethics in order to achieve effective goals that are accountable to clients.

Abstract

Alat ukur stabilitas emosi diperlukan supaya remaja mengetahui tingkat stabilitas emosi yang dimilikinya. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengembangkan instrumen yang valid sehingga dapat menguji tingkat stabilitas emosi remaja. Analisis validitas ini dilakukan untuk menguji apakah instrumen stabilitas emosi mampu mengungkap tingkat stabilitas emosi remaja secara akurat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui survei secara random sampling terhadap 152 responden terdiri dari 43 orang laki-laki dan 109 orang perempuan kelas XI pada salah satu sekolah di Sumedang, Jawa Barat. Analisis instrumen dilakukan menggunakan model RASCH dengan aplikasi winstep versi 3.73.0 dari John M. Linacre. Berdasarkan hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa instrumen stabilitas emosi cukup baik untuk mengukur kestabilan emosi pada remaja dengan nilai cronbach alpha yang mempresentasikan interaksi antara person dengan butir-butir item keseluruhan sebesar 0.62 termasuk kategori baik, nilai person realiability sebesar 0.57 sebagai indikator konsistensi jawaban responden, termasuk kategori cukup. Sedangkan item reability sebesar 0,98 sebagai indikator kualitas butir-butir item dalam instrumen, tergolong kategori istimewa.
