Abstract

This study examines the influence of demand forecasting on raw material inventory control at CV Wery Group Gunungsitoli. The research was motivated by challenges in managing inventory due to fluctuating market demand, which often caused overstocking or stock shortages, leading to inefficiencies in operations. A quantitative research method was employed, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to 30 employees. The data were analyzed using SPSS version 27, including validity and reliability tests, normality and heteroscedasticity tests, simple linear regression, and a T-test. The findings revealed a significant positive relationship between demand forecasting and raw material inventory control, indicated by a regression coefficient of 0.802 with a significance level of 0.000 (p < 0.05). The coefficient of determination (R²) was 0.711, meaning that 71.1% of the variation in inventory control can be explained by demand forecasting. This implies that the more accurate the demand forecasting, the more effective the inventory control. The study suggests that CV Wery Group should improve forecasting capabilities as a strategic tool to enhance operational efficiency and support production continuity.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis manajemen kearsipan dalam upaya meningkatkan pengelolaan penatausahaan administrasi dan mengetahui kendala manajemen kearsipan dalam upaya meningkatkan pengelolaan penatausahaan administrasi di Dinas Perumahan dan Kawasan Permukiman kota Gunungsitoli. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif, dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan antara lain observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah reduksi data, penyajian data dan menarik kesimpulan/ verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan arsip pada Dinas Perkim Kota Gunungsitoli belum terlaksana secara optimal, masih banyaknya masalah-masalah yang terjadi dalam proses pengelolaan arsip mulai dari penciptaan hingga pemusnahan arsip, hal tersebut membuat proses dari pengelolaan tersebut belum optimal. Dalam pelaksanaan pengelolaan arsip Dinas Perkim Kota Gunungsitoli menghadapi beberapa hambatan yaitu kurangnya pengetahuan pegawai, kurangnya sarana dan prasarana yang memadai, ketiadaan gedung khusus tempat penyimpanan arsip, belum melaksanakan penyusustan dokumen arsip, tidak ada SOP penyimpanan arsip, serta tantangan penggunaan arsip digital. Kata kunci: Manajemen Kearsipan, Pengelolaan Penatausahaan Administrasi.

Abstract

Perkembangan dalam dunia bisnis seiring berjalannya waktumaka terciptanya suatu perkembangan yang begitu pesat dari berbagai macam aspek. Pengusaha harus berusaha untuk mempertahankan posisi dalam persaingan pesat yang sedang berlangsung di era globalisasi. Fenomena perkembangan pesat yang sering terjadi dalam dunia bisnis tercermin pada suatu tindakan untuk mempertahankan kualitas mutu suatu produk yang berkualitas, sehingga pengusaha dapat mempertahankan permintaan dan kepuasan pelanggan atau konsumen dimana salah satu jaminan mutu ialah pemberian label halal pada produk. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Responden adalah karyawan dan konsumen UD. Wery Bakery Kota Gunungsitoli tepatnya di Desa Miga berbelanja dan menikmati produk dari UD.Wery Bakery Kota Gunungsitoli sebanyak 40 orang dimana peneliti mengumpulkan data menggunakan angket, kemudian melakukan uji validitas data, uji reliabilitas data, uji asumsi klasik (uji normalitas), uji regresi linear berganda, dan uji hipotesis (uji t, uji f, dan uji koefisien determinasi). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pengaruh Quality Assurance terhadap Jumlah Permintaan Produk Di UD.Wery Bakery Kota Gunungsitoli dapat dilihat dari nilai hasil Uji t yang menunjukkan bahwa nilai sig. sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Quality Assurance yang baik akan meningkatkan permintaan produk. Kata Kunci: Quality Assurance, Permintaan Produk, Label Halal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peranan sistem manajemen keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja (SMK3) terhadap produktivitas kerja karyawan pada PT. Harazaki Persada Utara, dan rumusan masalah nya Bagaimanakah peranan sistem manajemen keselamatan, dan kesehatan kerja (SMK3) terhadap produktivitas kerja pada karyawan PT. Harazaki Persada Utara? jumlah sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 40 orang.Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian kuantitatif dan pendekatan kuantitatif. Scoring setiap item pernyataan variabel X (SMK3) pada indikator Penetapan kebijakan K3 mendapatkan nilai 71,8%, Perencanaa K3 mendapatkan nilai 68,5%, Pelaksanaan Rencana K3 dengan nilai 69,5%, Pemantauan dan evaluasi kinerja K3 68,5%, Peninjauan dan Peningkatan kinerja K3 65,8%. Skor yang didapatkan pada variabel X dengan rata-rata 68,8% yang berarti termasuk dalam kategori cukup memuaskan. Scoring item pernyataan variabel Y (Produktivitas) pada indikator Kemampuan dengan nilai 71,7%, Semangat kerja 68,5%, Pengembagan diri 67,5%, kualitas kerja 69%, Efesiensi kerja 71%. Skor yang didapatkan pada variabel Y dengan rata-rata 69,8% yang berarti termasuk dalam kategori cukup memuaskanDari penelitian mendapatkan hasil dari uji T didapatkan nilai t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel (2,700 > 1,686) dan nilai sig. (0,01 < 0,05), dapat disimpulkan bahwa SMK3 memiliki peranan secara parsial terhadap Produktivitas kerja.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Toko Geuliss Bakery & Cake yang bergerak pada industri roti dan kue dengan menganalisis efisiensi rantai pasokan dalam pendistribuan produk. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses alur rantai pasokan dalam pendistribusian produk kepada konsumen, kendala yang dihadapi dalam distribusi produk serta upaya yang dilakukan dalam meningkatkan efisiensi rantai pasokan agar pendistribusian produk berjalan optimal pada Toko Geuliss Bakery & Cake. Metode yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kualitatif dengan melakukan wawancara kepada 6 informan. Hasil wawancara menunjukkan bahwa ketersediaan bahan baku dan stok produk relatif terjaga, meskipun pencatatan manual masih menimbulkan risiko kesalahan. Sistem distribusi berjalan terstruktur dengan menerapkan prinsip sesuai urutan masuk (First In, First Out), kecepatan, ketepatan, serta pemeriksaan berlapis guna menjaga akurasi pengiriman. Namun, toko menghadapi beberapa kendala, seperti keterbatasan armada, keterlambatan pasokan, faktor eksternal (cuaca dan kondisi jalan), serta biaya distribusi yang tinggi akibat jarak pengiriman dan pembelian mendadak. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, Toko Geuliss Bakery & Cake menerapkan berbagai strategi, antara lain penambahan tenaga kerja sementara, penyediaan stok cadangan, pembuatan produk setengah jadi, pengaturan rute efisien, penggabungan pesanan, serta penerapan SOP sederhana guna meminimalisir kesalahan. Secara keseluruhan, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen rantai pasokan yang baik berkontribusi pada peningkatan kepuasan pelanggan, meskipun masih diperlukan perbaikan, khususnya pada aspek digitalisasi pencatatan dan penambahan armada distribusi agar efisiensi lebih optimal.

Abstract

The main objective of this study is to compare and analyze the effectiveness of the MRP (Material Requirement Planning) method in optimizing raw material inventory management in the Nias Tofu business. This study uses a mixed method. Primary data in this study were obtained directly from the Nias Tofu business through observations and interviews, while secondary data were obtained from the company in the form of production data from the Nias Tofu Product business in 2024. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive analysis techniques and the steps taken in the method analysis.MRP. According to the analysis results, the 2024 soybean raw material purchasing and demand data using the conventional method showed a shortage of raw materials of 14,200 kg with an order frequency of 14 times. Inventory management experienced inefficiencies, namely storage costs of IDR 1,600,000 and ordering costs of IDR 400,000, and raw material shortages still occurred, while the application of the MRP method resulted in order planning with an order frequency of 6 times, a fixed order quantity of 16,784 kg, and a much lower total inventory cost of IDR 335,160. The implementation of the MRP method has proven successful in eliminating raw material shortages and reducing operational costs so that the production process runs more smoothly and efficiently. This study proves that the application of MRP is effective in managing raw materials and optimizing production in the Nias Tofu business, making a significant contribution to smooth production and inventory cost efficiency.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of cafe business competition in Gunungsitoli City, which demands effective marketing strategies, particularly in the utilization of promotional mixes and business location selection. The purpose of the study is to analyze how promotional mixes and location aspects play a role in increasing sales at Murai Coffee Gunungsitoli. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The research informants consisted of the owner, employees, and customers of Murai Coffee. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that Murai Coffee has implemented promotional strategies such as simple advertising, sales promotions, personal selling, public relations, and direct marketing that gradually increase customer interest. Meanwhile, the location factor, although not located in the city center, still provides sales opportunities through a comfortable atmosphere and quality service. However, challenges are still found in the comfort aspect, such as noise from outside and hot room temperatures, so that improvements to supporting facilities are needed. This research is useful for Murai Coffee in designing more optimal promotional strategies and location arrangements, for Nias University as a contribution to the development of marketing science, and as a reference for future researchers who want to study marketing strategies in the culinary sector.

Abstract

This study highlights the problem of managing teak wood raw materials in the form of boards at UD Gemilang, Gunungsitoli City. The company often experiences shortages or excess inventory due to a conventional ordering system that is not based on optimal demand calculations. This inefficiency causes wasteful costs and disrupts the smooth production process. The main objective of this study is to analyze current inventory management and apply the EOQ (Economic Order Quantity) method to determine the optimal order quantity, as well as evaluate its impact on cost efficiency and production operations. The EOQ method is expected to be a systematic and rational solution for managing inventory more efficiently. This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach. Data were collected through direct interviews with business owners and documentation of raw material purchasing and usage reports for 2024. The analysis was conducted using the EOQ formula to calculate the optimal order quantity, ordering costs, storage costs, safety stock, reorder point, and total inventory cost (TIC). The analysis results show that the optimal order quantity for teak wood raw materials is 282 boards, with an ordering frequency of 6 times a year. This number is more efficient than the actual ordering system which is carried out monthly without a fixed calculation. The recommended safety stock is 22 boards, with a Reorder Point (ROP) of 36 boards. The implementation of the EOQ method successfully reduced total inventory costs from Rp6,768,000 to Rp3,496,800.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Effect of Raw Material Inventory Management on Work Productivity of PT. KSS (Karunia Sejahtera Sejati) Nias Branch. The research method used is a quantitative approach. The sample in this study amounted to 31 respondents. Data collection techniques were carried out through the distribution of questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques used simple linear regression analysis, classical assumption tests, coefficient of determination tests and t-tests with the help of the SPSS version 25 statistical application. The R2 Determination Test that has been carried out obtained the result that the R2 value is 0.620. This shows that the Raw Material Inventory Management variable (X) can explain Work Productivity (Y) by 62%, while the remaining 38% is explained by other factors not covered in this study. Based on the data analysis, it shows that simultaneously the Raw Material Inventory Management variable has a positive and significant effect on Work Productivity with a significance of 0.000 <0.05 and the T-value obtained is 6.877> 1.696 so that it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and has an effect on the dependent variable of Work Productivity (Y). The conclusion of this study is that the Raw Material Inventory Management variable partially or simultaneously has an effect on Work Productivity and it is recommended that PT. KSS (Karunia Sejahtera Sejati) provide increased competency and understanding of employees regarding inventory management that is very necessary so that they are able to carry out their tasks more efficiently and effectively, so that work productivity increases. Periodic training and socialization regarding inventory management and its relationship to work productivity must continue to be carried out.
