Abstract

Patient satisfaction is the result of the patient's assessment of health services by comparing what is expected in accordance with the reality of health services received. So that patient satisfaction at the hospital depends on how the services provided by the hospital. The objective of this study is to determine patient satisfaction in providing nursing care in the inpatient ward of the Murni Teguh Memorial Hospital. This study was a descriptive survey study. The population of this study were patients in the inpatient room of Murni Teguh Hospital Medan in July. The sampling technique in this study was Quota sampling, which was done by determining the number of research samples in advance, which was 60 people. The method of data collection with instruments on patient satisfaction uses a standardized questionnaire, namely the questionnaire gap model. The results showed that most of the patients said they were satisfied with the provision of nursing care as many as 52 (86.7%) and were not satisfied as many as 8 (13.3%). It is concluded that based on the results of the study showed that the better the provision of nursing care to patients, the level of patient satisfaction of nursing services will be better as well. It is recommended for further research to add variables such as factors related to patient satisfaction with the quality of nursing care.

Abstract

Discharge planning results in an integrated relationship when the patient receives care in the hospital and the care given after the patient goes home. Discharge planning requires good and directed communication so that the patient can understand and benefit when the patient is at home. This is one of the important factors that makes patients obedient to return to the hospital for control. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between nurse educator in discharge planning with the level compliance of inpatients for check-ups at Murni Teguh Memorial Hospital. This study is a quantitative study with a correlational study design using a cross-sectional approach. The study was conducted at Murni Teguh Memorial Hospital. The sample in this study amounted to 30 respondents with purposive sampling technique. Data analysis used the Chi-Square test. The result of this study with the chi-square test showed a relationship between nurse educator in discharge planinng with the level of compliance of inpatients for check-ups as indicated by a p-value <0.05. It is recommended for further researchers to add research variables such as factors related to patient compliance in treatment.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat di Kampung Tobati, Jayapura Selatan, bertujuan menekan tingginya angka stunting yang meningkat dari 29% pada 2024 menjadi 33% pada 2025. Program ini menekankan pendekatan edukatif, partisipatif, dan teknologi, melibatkan ibu rumah tangga dan remaja sebagai mitra utama serta memberi pengalaman praktis bagi mahasiswa dan dosen. Kegiatan meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan, penerapan teknologi, pendampingan, dan evaluasi berkelanjutan. Inovasi yang diterapkan mencakup penggunaan alat ukur digital, website untuk deteksi status gizi, media pembelajaran digital, dan pengolahan sampah organik menjadi pupuk melalui komposter. Mitra dilatih mengolah pangan lokal berbasis ikan dengan alat sederhana untuk meningkatkan gizi dan nilai tambah produk. Hasilnya, pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan kesadaran masyarakat terkait kesehatan, lingkungan, dan pangan meningkat, dengan harapan program berkelanjutan melalui dukungan pemerintah, penguatan kader, dan replikasi ke wilayah lain.
