Abstract

Optimizing organizational performance has a positive impact on the services provided. Various steps need to be taken in an effort to create a sustainable business. Organizational excellence is inseparable from several main factors, such as: performance, customer satisfaction, leadership, process management, employee involvement, learning, innovation, and social responsibility. Organizations must be able to assess their performance to explore various opportunities and be able to put themselves in a competitive situation. The Baldrige Criteria are a guide for organizations to evaluate performance and create superior and world-class management. This criterion consists of seven pillars, namely: leadership; strategic planning; focus on consumers and markets; analysis and knowledge management; focus on human resources; business process management; and results. This research was conducted to analyze the application of the Baldrige Criteria to the Mangunan Fruit Garden tourist attraction as an effort to create superior and world-class tourism management. A qualitative, descriptive research design was used in this study and was combined with the Baldrige Criteria instrument. Collected data for this study through in-depth interviews with several informants from management and employees. The results of the study explained that the management of the Mangunan Orchard was not in accordance with the Baldrige Criteria. Tourist attraction managers need to design the right strategy to create superior and world-class organizational performance.

Abstract

Abstrak:Pariwisata merupakan salah satu sektor yang sangat penting dalam meningkatkan perekonomian negara, termasuk Indonesia. Berbagai dampak yang dihadirkan oleh sektor pariwisata perlu menjadi perhatian pengelola dan pihak lainnya. Kehadiran pandemi secara langsung mengubah strategi dan fokus pengelolaan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengembangkan potensi Curug Cileat menjadi objek wisata alam yang berkelanjutan dan memberikan manfaat bagi masyarakat. Langkah ini dapat dilakukan dengan mempelajari kondisi lingkungan internal dan eksternal. Dalam penelitian ini, desain metode campuran digunakan bersamaan dengan Analisa SWOT-8K untuk mengungkapkan berbagai aspek pengembangan Curug Cileat. Informan yang dipilih dalam penelitian ini adalah ketua kelompok pengelola objek wisata di Curug Cileat. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, objek wisata Curug Cileat berada di Kuadran 1-A. Hasil tersebut memungkinkan pengelola objek wisata dapat menerapkan strategi pertumbuhan agresif. Menciptakan pariwisata berkelanjutan, pengelola dapat memaksimalkan berbagai kekuatan yang dimilikinya, seperti: (1) potensi objek wisata; (2) lokasi objek wisata; (3) kompetensi sumber daya manusia; (4) kesejahteraan karyawan; (5) kebersihan objek wisata; (6) pemberdayaan masyarakat; (7) penerapan protokol kesehatan; (8) keamanan objek wisata; dan (9) keberadaan izin operasional. Selain memaksimalkan potensi yang ada, pengelola juga dapat memanfaatkan berbagai peluang yang muncul, antara lain: (1) keunikan objek wisata; (2) penggunaan TI; dan (3) dukungan masyarakat.Abstract:Tourism is one of the most important sectors in improving the economy of any country, including Indonesia. The various impacts presented by the tourism sector need to be of concern to managers and other parties. The presence of the pandemic directly changed the management strategy and focus. This research is important to do to develop the potential of Curug Cileat to become a natural tourist attraction that is sustainable and provides benefits for the environment. This step can be done by studying the internal and external environmental conditions. In this study, a mix methode design was used in conjunction with the SWOT-8K to reveal various aspects of the development of Curug Cileat. The informant chosen for this study is the head of the tourism object management group at Cileat Curug. Based on the research that has been done, the Cileat Waterfall tourist attraction is in Quadrant 1-A. The results mentioned are possible if the tourism object manager can implement an aggressive growth strategy. To create sustainable tourism, tourism object managers can maximize their various strengths, such as: (1) maximizing the potential of tourist objects; (2) location of tourist objects; (3) competence of human resources; (4) employee welfare; (5) cleanliness of tourist objects; (6) community empowerment; (7) implementation of health protocols; (8) safety of tourist objects; and (9) the existence of operational permits. In addition to maximizing the existing potential, managers can also take advantage of various opportunities that arise, including: (1) the uniqueness of tourist objects; (2) the use of IT; and (3) the existence of community support.

Abstract

Tourism is an important contributor to the regional economy. This condition confirms that tourism needs to be well prepared. The presence of the COVID-19 pandemic has had an impact on all sectors, including tourism. This situation is characterized by a decrease in the number of tourist visits, both local and foreign. Another impact of the pandemic is the lack of management focus on managing tourist attractions. These conditions directly affect the implementation of marketing strategies in achieving management targets. The purpose of this study is to analyze the application of the 7p marketing mix to the tourist attraction of Dira Park Ambulu in creating sustainable creative tourism. A qualitative design is used in this study, which explores everything about managing tourist attractions. Data collection through interviews combined with the 7p marketing mix instrument. The selected informants came from management, employees, and visitors who were enjoying Dira Park Ambulu's services. The Miles Huberman method is used in data processing and analysis through the stages of transcription, reduction, coding, categorization, and drawing conclusions. The study's findings show what would happen if Dira Park Ambulu's tourist attraction did not meet the 7-point marketing mix concept. Some of the instruments used in the 7p marketing mix instrument, including products, prices, marketing distribution channels, promotions, human resources, processes, and physical evidence, have not been fully implemented. The results of this study confirm that the management of the Dira Park Ambulu tourist attraction needs to thoroughly implement the 7p marketing mix instrument.

Abstract

COVID-19 memberikan dampak bagi perkembangan bisnis di seluruh dunia, tidak terkecuali Indonesia. Beberapa dampak secara langsung dapat dirasakan, diantaranya: penurunan penjualan, melemahnya minat beli konsumen serta fokus pengelolaan yang kurang professional. Pelaku usaha di beberapa wilayah terpaksa menutup usaha mereka. Situasi tersebut tidak lepas dari kebijakan Pemerintah dalam menekan jumlah penyebaran kasus. Namun demikian, di sisi lain terjadi peningkatan penjualan melalui transaksi online. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif analisis. Pencarian data sekunder serta studi literatur melalui telaah jurnal yang berkaitan dengan penggunaan teknologi digital oleh pelaku usaha menjadi acuan. Penelitian ini menegaskan jika pandemi COVID-19 memberikan dampak terhadap perkembangan usaha. Berkaca pada situasi tersebut penggunaan teknologi digital menjadi implementasi strategi inovasi yang perlu dilakukan. Digitalisasi diperlukan dalam berbagai sektor, termasuk pelaku UMKM untuk dapat bersaing dan memenuhi kebutuhan serta harapan konsumen. Pelaku UMKM dalam prakteknya mengadopsi penggunaan perangkat dan alat digital untuk dapat memperluas aktivitas pemasaran dan menekan biaya pemasaran.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi memberikan peluang dalam aktivitas pemasaran pariwisata. Penggunaan virtual reality (VR) menjadi salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan. Virtual reality dianggap sebagai cara yang mampu membatasi aktivitas kunjungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap perubahan aktivitas nyata menjadi aktivitas virtual berdasarkan pengalaman yang dirasakan. Desain penelitian kualitatif melalui pendekatan studi kasus digunakan pada pengguna layanan VR di museum Taman Pintar dan Play Both Mall Pakuwon. Penelitian ini mampu mengungkap pengalaman seseorang setelah menggunakan layanan VR. Analisa Miles Huberman dikombinasikan dengan metode semi-immersive dan model UTAUT digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menemukan jika kesenangan menjadi salah satu faktor pendorong penerimaan teknologi VR. Sedangkan kondisi teknologi, aktivitas sosial dan interaksi yang dilakukan menjadi salah satu penghambat. Meskipun demikian, penggunaan layanan VR mampu menjadi salah satu cara merangsang motivasi pengguna.

Abstract

Abstrak: Beberapa pengelolaan desa wisata oleh POKDARWIS memiliki kekurangan dalam fungsi dan efektivitas kelembagaan. Kondisi tersebut secara langsung berpengaruh terhadap pengelolaan dan perkembangan desa wisata. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat fungsi kelembagaan POKDARWIS dan lembaga masyarakat lainnya melalui implementasi kampanye sadar wisata 5.0 yang dicanangkan Kementerian Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif. Program pengabdian yang dilakukan berfokus pada kegiatan: (1) pendampingan POKDARWIS; (2) pendampingan kelompok PKK; (3) pendampingan pelaku seni dan budaya; serta (4) pendampingan organisasi karang taruna. Peserta yang terlibat dalam pendampingan ini berjumlah 60 orang Lebih lanjut, kegiatan ini berupaya meningkatkan kapasitas, pemahaman serta kesadaran antar kelompok masyarakat dalam upaya menciptakan pengelolaan pariwisata berkelanjutan. Evaluasi melalui postest dilakukan selama kegiatan pendampingan berlangsung dan pasca kegiatan pendampingan sebagai bentuk evaluasi. Hasil evaluasi menunjukan, sebanyak 51 peserta (85%) memahami pentingnya kampanye sadar wisata bagi penguatan kelembagaan dalam menciptakan pariwisata berkelanjutan. Hasil pengabdian masyarakat ini mampu memberikan dampak positif dalam pengelolaan pariwisata berkelanjutan. Selain itu, hasil kegiatan ini mampu menyamakan presepsi positif masyarakat yang tertuang dalam nota kesepahaman.Abstract: Some of the management of tourist villages by POKDARWIS needs to improve in institutional function and effectiveness. These conditions directly affect the management and development of tourist villages. This community service activity aims to strengthen the institutional functions of POKDARWIS and other community organizations by implementing the 5.0 tourism awareness campaign launched by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy. The community service program focuses on (1) POKDARWIS assistance; (2) PKK group assistance; (3) arts and culture actors assistance; and (4) youth organization assistance. Participants involved in this assistance amounted to 60 people. Furthermore, this activity seeks to increase capacity, understanding, and awareness among community groups to create sustainable tourism management. Evaluation through post-tests during and after mentoring activities as a form of evaluation. The evaluation results showed that 51 participants (85%) understood the importance of tourism awareness campaigns for institutional strengthening in creating sustainable tourism. The results of this community service can positively impact sustainable tourism management. In addition, the results of this activity were able to equate the positive perceptions of the community as contained in the memorandum of understandin.

Abstract

Museums are often perceived as places that are unattractive, unclean, and lack explanation, so interest in visiting museums is still low. This condition is different from the Kotagede Museum, which experienced a growth in the number of visitors. In an effort to maintain existence, managers need to satisfy visitors' wants and needs. This situation is in accordance with one of the conditions for creating sustainable tourism, which takes into account visitor satisfaction. This research aims to determine visitors' attitudes towards the Kotagede Museum. This research uses a mixed method through fishbein analysis. The Fishbein multi-attribute attitude model is used as a data analysis technique. Questionnaires, interviews, and observations were used as data collection techniques. Questionnaires were distributed to 372 respondents and reinforced with open interviews to explore respondents' answers. The research results stated that visitors' attitudes towards the Kotagede Museum were positive, with a score of 94.313. The attitude value is in the right position of the cut-off point, between the range of agree and strongly agree. The aesthetic building attribute got the highest score (20.599), and the strategic location attribute got the lowest score (16.855). Kotagede Museum managers can maintain attributes that get high scores and improve the quality of attributes that get low scores.

Abstract

Indonesia has the potential for beauty and rich resources that are recognised worldwide. This diversity can be developed through the tourism sector. Tourism development can be done with the right strategies. As a development effort, attractiveness instruments are important to pay attention to. This research was conducted to develop the potential of the Lo'Ko Mata tourist attraction so that it is sustainable and provides broad benefits. This step can be done through an analysis of the internal and external environment. A mixed-methods design was used in this research, along with SWOT-8K analysis, to reveal various aspects of development. The Informant for this research is the manager of the public relations division. Based on data analysis, the Lo'Ko Mata tourist attraction is in Quadrant 1-A. These results can be used as a basis for managers to implement aggressive growth strategies. As an effort to create sustainable tourism, managers can maximise the various strengths they have, such as: 1) uniqueness of tourist attractions; 2) tourism promotion; 3) maintenance of tourist attractions; 4) role of the community; 5) potential of tourist attractions; 6) economic conditions of the community; 7) technological development; 8) tourism development; 9) cleanliness of tourist attractions; and 10). operational permit. Apart from maximising existing potential, managers can also take advantage of various opportunities that arise, including: 1) collaboration with external parties; 2) HR skills; and 3) HR welfare. Furthermore, through instruments of weakness and threat, managers need to design strategies to minimise and eliminate negative impacts. Formulating the right strategy will have an impact on management sustainability.

Abstract

MSMEs play a crucial role in supporting the tourism industry. This condition is a great opportunity for MSMEs. The target market for MSMEs is not only local tourists but also foreign tourists. In reality, there is competitive competition on the ground. This condition affects not only local MSMEs but also foreign business actors. Numerous studies confirm that the Ansoff Model can facilitate the development of development plans. However, there has been little research in the MSME export area. This research contributes to increasing product competitiveness in export markets. This study uses a mixed research design (mix method). This research employed both interview activities and the distribution of questionnaires. The first stage involved distributing questionnaires to nine MSMEs that had carried out export activities. We carried out instrument mapping through internal factor evaluation (IFE), external factor evaluation (EFE), and SWOT analysis. The Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE) analysis reveals a positive difference value of 1.25. The strengths are greater than the weaknesses. The External Factor Evaluation (EFE) analysis reveals a positive difference score of 0.95. The opportunities that an organization has are greater than the threats. The Ansoff Model reveals market penetration as a viable strategy. MSME players need to pay attention to their target market. Global markets are more complicated because they involve different rules. Furthermore, MSME players need to consider the market opportunities they have. We must introduce the product's quality and characteristics on a large scale. The accuracy with which MSME actors analyze situations enables them to compete in any market.

Abstract

Beberapa POKDARWIS memiliki permasalahan dalam peningkatan kapasitas dan keterampilan SDM. Keadaan tersebut memberikan dampak terhadap pengelolaan dan perkembangan desa atau kampung wisata. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan memperkuat kualitas dan kapasitas SDM melalui program sadar wisata 5.0 yang digaungkan oleh Kementerian Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif Republik Indonesia. Beberapa agenda kegiatan yang dilakukan berfokus pada: 1) pendampingan dan penguatan SDM POKDARWIS, 2) penguatan konten digital marketing, 3) memperkuat pemahaman generasi muda terhadap perkembangan pariwisata dan 4) memperkuat kerjasama dengan lembaga pendukung pariwisata. Kegiatan ini diikuti 30 peserta kegiatan yang berasal dari berbagai elemen masyarakat di kampung wisata Purbayan. Kegiatan ini berupaya meningkatkan kapasitas serta keterampilan SDM sebagai upaya menciptakan pengelolaan pariwisata berkelanjutan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukan, sebanyak 27 peserta (90%) telah memahami pentingnya kerjasama antar SDM serta mampu meningkatan kapasitas dan keterampilan SDM. Lebih lanjut, kegiatan pengabdian ini mampu mamberikan dampak positif terhadap pengelolaan kampung wisata Purbayan yang berkelanjutan. Penguatan kerjasama dengan berbagai pihak, mampu tertuang dalam nota kesepahaman yang menjadi langkah awal kerjasama diperiode berikutnya.
