Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the discipline of learning of high achieving students in SD 13/1 Rengas Condong Muara Bulian. This research was conducted in odd semester 2019/2020. This research is motivated by the existence of students applying disciplinary life in the school environment, students successfully applying discipline such as arriving on time, this study uses a qualitative approach to the type of descriptive research, data collection is done by observation, interviews, and documentation in the form of learning activities in the classroom. Researchers directly conducted interviews with class teachers and students concerned. The results of the study To helping disciplinary success there needs to be a good cooperative relationship between the school principal, class teacher, parents and school committee in SD Negeri 13/1 Rengas Condong Muara Bulian.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi literasi baca tulis dan literasi sains di Sekolah Dasar 96/I Ladang Peris. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian fenomenologi. Data penelitian berupa deskripsi mengenai implementasi pelaksanaan gerakan literasi  baca tulis dan literasi sains di kelas VI Sekolah Dasar 96/I Ladang Peris. Subjek penelitian adalah guru kelas VI Sekolah Dasar 96/I Ladang Peris. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah pedoman wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pelaksanaan gerakan literasi baca tulis dan sains berada pada tahapan pengembangan. Upaya guru dalam mengembangkan literasi sains dan baca tulis adalah: 1) mendorong peserta didik menuliskan cerita dengan bahasanya sendiri, 2) jika pembelajaran tema yang memuat muatan sains selesai guru meminta peserta didik menuliskan rangkaian kegiatan pembelajaran (kegiatan pembelajaran dilaksanakan melalui percobaan) di dalam kertas satu lembar, 3) kegiatan berbagi cerita tentang buku yang dibaca, 4) bermain peran sesuai bacaan, 5) membuat pojok baca untuk peserta didik, 6) memperbaharui buku di pojok baca. Guru mengimplementasikan gerakan literasi baca tulis dan sains yang sangat bervariasi.

Abstract

Problem solving is a process used to solve problems. The problem solving process involves metacognitive activities for someone who can explore metacognitive thinking skills, especially in regulating and controlling cognitive activities. Learning in chemistry education leads students to explore metacognitive thinking skills through problem solving. One of the materials that is the problem is chemical equilibrium. Solving chemical equilibrium problems requires good metacognitive skills. This study aims to describe the metacognitive skills of chemistry education students in solving chemical equilibrium problems. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The research data were descriptive texts of students' metacognitive skills in problem solving which were collected through problem solving tests and interviews. The test results obtained were analyzed qualitatively. Metacognitive skills data analysis techniques from the interview results using the analysis model of Miles and Huberman. The research subjects were 32 students of Education Chemistry Study Program, Education and Teacher Training Faculty, Jambi University. The results showed that 4 students did problem solving by just experimenting, so that the tests that were carried out were not quite right. The results of the interview stated that the students did not understand the problems in the questions. 14 students had difficulties and were confused about problem solving solutions but their understanding of the problems was quite good. The results of the interview stated that the students were aware of their weaknesses. 7 students were able to solve problems and check problem solving. The results of the interview stated that the students realized that there was a mistake in solving the problem given, but the students were hesitant to correct the error. 7 students demonstrated near-perfect overall problem solving skills and rechecking their work. The results of the interview stated that the students were aware of their abilities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan prosedur pengembangan, validitas, dan kepraktisan multimedia pembelajaran berbasis website pada materi energi kelas IV sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SD Negeri 14/I Sungai Baung pada tanggal 3 Januari sampai 3 Februari 2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model pengembangan Lee & Owens, dengan subjek penelitiannya adalah peserta didik kelas IV A SD Negeri 14/I Sungai Baung. Data penelitian dan pengembangan ini diperoleh dari beberapa sumber yaitu: hasil wawancara kebutuhan terkait pengembangan produk didapatkan dari wawancara kepala sekolah, pendidik, dan peserta didik kelas IV, validitas produk didapatkan dari validasi ahli media, validasi ahli materi, dan validasi ahli bahasa. Kepraktisan produk didapatkan dari angket respon guru serta peserta didik uji kelompok kecil dan besar. Prosedur pengembangan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model Lee & Owens yang terdiri dari tahapan assessment and analysis, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat validitas produk yang diperoleh dari validator media memperoleh rata-rata nilai 4,8 termasuk kategori “sangat valid” dengan persentase sebesar 96 %, validator materi memperoleh rata-rata nilai 4,91 termasuk kategori “sangat valid” dengan persentase sebesar 98,18 %, dan validator bahasa memperoleh nilai rata-rata 4,91 termasuk kategori “sangat valid” dengan persentase sebesar 98 %. Adapun kepraktisan produk yang diperoleh dari peserta didik memperoleh rata-rata nilai 4,92 termasuk kategori “sangat praktis” dengan persentase 98,43 %, dan respon guru memperoleh rata-rata nilai 4,91 dengan kategori “sangat praktis” dengan persentase 98 %. Kesimpulan yang didapatkan dari hasil penelitian ini adalah multimedia pembelajaran berbasis website pada materi energi kelas IV sekolah dasar dinyatakan valid, praktis dan layak digunakan.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low writing skills of class III students at SDN 13/I Muara Bulian. This research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which aims to describe the use of the MIKiR active approach using interactive media to improve writing skills in class III. This research was conducted at SDN 13/I Muara Bulian. Research data was obtained using observation, interviews, tests and documentation techniques. The types of data in this research are qualitative and quantitative data. The research results show that using the MIKiR active approach in the learning process using interactive media can improve writing skills in class III. This can be seen from the results of observations in cycle I, meeting I, the average percentage of 41.03% was still in the quite good criteria and this percentage increased because at meeting II the average percentage was 46.73% even though it was still in the quite good category. In cycle II there was a significant increase where from the average percentage of students' scores in cycle II, meeting I, the average percentage was 63.58%, which was still within the good criteria and this percentage increased because at meeting II the average percentage was 75.54%, which was included into the very good category. In this case it is concluded that the use of the MIKiR active approach using interactive media can improve writing skills in class III at SDN 13/I Muara Bulian.

Abstract

The current condition of entrepreneurial activities to form entrepreneurial character has yet to be optimally implemented at the elementary school level. This is evident in elementary schools where entrepreneurial activities have not been appropriately programmed, one of which is the absence of an entrepreneurship module. This study aims to develop an entrepreneurship module for forming entrepreneurial character in elementary schools. This research is a research and development. Product development uses the ADDIE model. The subjects of the study were media validators, content validators, language validators, and teachers. The trial subjects were 25 elementary school students. The methods used in collecting data were observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Data collection instruments were questionnaire validation and practicality questionnaires. The techniques used to analyze data were qualitative descriptive analysis and quantitative descriptive analysis. The study results showed that the developed entrepreneurship module had an average validity level of 87.5% with a very valid category and a practicality level of 94.5% with a very practical category. It can be concluded that the entrepreneurship module product in forming entrepreneurial character in elementary schools is feasible to use in the learning process.

Abstract

Dari hasil wawancara yang dilakukan dengan guru, ditemukan fakta bahwa guru – guru masih kesulitan dalam kenaikan pangkat. Kesulitan ini dikarenakan guru tidak memiliki keterampilan dalam menulis karya ilmiah, serta kebiasaan guru yang tidak pernah untuk melakukan peneletian. Untuk itu maka perlu dilakukan upaya untuk memberikan bekal keterampilan kepada para guru untuk melaksanakan penelitian, menulis karya ilmiah dan mempublikasikannya. Salah satu bentuk penelitian sederhana yang dapat mudah dilakukan oleh guru adalah dengan melaksanakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Dalam pelaksanaanya guru terlihat sangat antusias dalam mengikuti seluruh rangkaian kegiatan pengabdian yang dilakukan oleh tim pengabdian ini, hal ini karena dapat menjadi sumber pengetahuan dan mengasah kemampuan guru dalam membuat karya tulis ilmiah. Dari hasil observasi, diperoleh fakta bahwa guru–guru telah memiliki pengetahuan dan kemampuan dalam membuat karya tulis ilmiah yang berasal pelaksanaan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pemanfaatan media ular tangga terhadap peningkatan keaktifan peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran matematika di kelas IV SDN 049/II Senamat. Penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan fenomenologi dan menggunakan metode kualitatif untuk menemukan pengalaman peserta didik selama proses pembelajaran. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Temuan penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa media ular tangga secara signifikan berhasil meningkatkan keaktifan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran. Keaktifan terlihat dari antusiasme peserta didik dalam melaksanakan tugas pembelajaran, keberanian bertanya, keterlibatan dalam diskusi kelompok, dan motivasi belajar yang meningkat. Media ini memadukan unsur permainan dan pembelajaran, menghasilkan suasana yang menyenangkan dan interaktif sehingga peserta didik merasa lebih termotivasi untuk memahami materi operasi hitung bilangan cacah. Hasil dari pada penelitian ini adalah bahwa media ular tangga efektif untuk meningkatkan keaktifan belajar peserta didik dan dapat menjadi alternatif inovatif dalam pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar. Media ini tidak hanya meningkatkan keterlibatan peserta didik tetapi juga mendukung pengembangan keterampilan sosial, berpikir kritis, dan komunikasi.

Abstract

This research aims to describe students' analysis of learning difficulties in class II multiplication material at SD Negeri 13/1 Muara Bulian. The methodology used in this research is a qualitative method with the type of research being a descriptive case study. This selection approach considers that the cases under study require observation and there will also be closeness between researchers and respondents so that it will produce in-depth data. The researcher chose the type of descriptive case study research because this type of research accurately describes the problems that existed when the researcher conducted the research (currently) or an actual problem, and is based on the facts of the problem being researched so that he can find out about the difficulties of analyzing student learning at school. student bases obtained from observations and interviews sourced from class II students and teachers at SD Negeri 13\1 Muara Bulian, as well as documentation in the form of photos and sound recordings which can be used as support for data collection. This observation was carried out for about three days. Next, students are given a questionnaire, which first accounting them on how to fill it out. The results of the instrument used to detect student learning difficulties are explained using the application by looking at the profile graph. At Piaget's cognitive stage, the characteristics of grade II elementary school students have the ability to think concretely, so that elementary school students will absorb the material more if the material can be seen in real life and experience learning. This research uses the Polya procedure, which is divided into 4 stages, namely; understand the problem, solve the problem, and review the completeness of the problem solution. helping the average second grade student at SD Negeri 13/1 Muara Bulian at the stage of understanding the problem was 95.5%. The average completion at the problem solving planning stage is 97.7%. And the average difficulty at the stage of reviewing the completeness of problem solving is 79.5%. Factors causing difficulties for class II students in solving mathematical problems in multiplication material based on the Polya procedure include intellectual factors, padagogy. facilities and environment. The implication of this research is that the results of this research are expected to increase teachers' insight into the difficulties of learning multiplication in class II, apart from that this research can also be a reference source for Jain researchers who research the same topic.
