Abstract

The main task in the IHKP division is to deliver goods in the form of materials, semi-finished products, finished products, or even waste, from plant A to plant B in the consumer factory area, namely the PT XYZ factory. Based on the Traffic Accident Data from the IHKP Division, there were 18 major accidents that occurred in 2016-2020. In solving the above problems, the IHKP division carries out risk management only after the risk occurs. The IHKP Division does not yet have an effective risk prevention plan. In other words, the aim of this study was to design the system of risk management for the company's material handling services to meet the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 based on ISO 31000:2018. In the first stage of the study, researchers conducted a gap analysis of the actual condition of the company and its requirements. In the second stage, the researcher makes a proposed business process design according to the gaps obtained. In the third stage, a business process improvement method was applied by the researchers to the proposed business. As a result, the proposed business process and the draft SOP are then verified to the company to ensure whether the proposal is in accordance with the company or not.

Abstract

Various efforts have been made by the government in reducing the number of COVID-19 cases in Indonesia, such as health intervention programs by encouraging the adaptation of new habits, such as carrying out healthprotocols which include washing hands, using hand-sanitizer, and wearing masks. To make healthintervention programs more effective and to see the importance of students as agents of change and socialcontrol, this study aims to analyze gender differences in the actual behavior of individual students inpreventing the transmission of COVID-19. This study used an online survey to a group of students (IndustrialEngineering, Telkom University) and it will be analyzed using descriptive analysis and binary logisticregression test. The results show that the gender were significantly associated with the actual behavior ofpreventing the transmission of COVID-19, through the use of hand-sanitizer (p<0.05) and washing handsevery time they left the house (p<0.05). Female students tend to have better actual behavior than malestudents. Overall, this study found that more than 90% of students reported having carried out actual COVID19 prevention behaviors well. It is hoped that these results can be used as an illustration of interested partiesto target groups of students, especially the male gender, that should be placed on providing informationrelated to COVID-19 prevention behavior.

Abstract

PT XYZ is a company engaged in the furniture industry, the products produced are various, one of which isthe Yamato folding chair. Yamato folding chairs are the most produced products, the production process ofYamato folding chairs consists of three processes, namely the construction process, the nickel chromeplating process, and the assembly process. In this study, the researchers focused more on the nickel chromeplating process because the most defects were in this process based on historical data from July 2020 toDecember 2021. The nickel plating process also has many types of defects including streaks, burns, yellow, and so on. Nickel chrome plating process is a metal deposition process on the surface of a metal or nonmetal electrolytically. In the analysis of the problem there is a process that is not fulfilled using the Ishikawadiagram, 5 whys analysis, and FMEA it is known that the influential factor is the incompatibility of pH levels,to correct these problems, a tool is designed. The method used for the design of the tool is the QFD (QualityFunction Deployment) method. QFD is a way to improve the quality of products and services byunderstanding each consumer's needs, then connecting them through technical aspects to produce productsor services that suit consumer needs in each manufacture product or service produced. The results of thisstudy are a tool to monitor pH levels so that they are in standard conditions. With the design of a monitoringtool for pH levels, it is expected to minimize defects that occur in the coating process.

Abstract

Every company must have uncertainties that can affect the company's performance. The risk is the result ofthe emergence of uncertainty. Risk management is a step that can be taken to measure the risks that exist inthe company. CV. XYZ, as a manufacturing company whose production floor involves both machines andhumans, has already implemented HIRARC methods in its risk management. CV. XYZ requires a riskregister dashboard as a tool for risk documentation and monitoring through real-time reports and annualreports. A dashboard is a tool used to analyze data and information. The rapid development of technologyhas led to improved solutions through information systems. The user interface risk register dashboard isdesigned using the Human-Centered Design (HCD) method, with steps to define user contextspecifications, user needs specifications, and user interface risk register dashboards. The design result ofthe user interface design risk register prototype with log-in page, menu form Risk update, mitigation andcontingency menus, risk database, and dashboard are divided into two categories, i.e., real-time report andannual report. User interface design can provide convenience and interaction to the user, and risk registrydashboard design can improve risk management efficiency with the presence of centralized and structuredrisk-related information, as well as facilitate risk evaluation, thus driving continuous improvement.

Abstract

Vendors are suppliers of goods or services that help the production process of a company. One ofthe companies that carry out vendor selection is CV Milyarda Cipta Karya which is engaged infashion. Vendor selection is an activity to determine vendors who will work with the company tohelp the production process. Based on an assessment of the 30 most popular CV Milyarda CiptaKarya's products on Shopee, there are consumer complaints about the inconsistent quality ofmaterials. This problem is caused by the absence of standards governing the mechanism forselecting fabric vendors. Therefore, it is necessary to know the priority level of vendor selectioncriteria. Vendor selection criteria are Quality of goods, response time, location, flexibility, price, vendor inventory policy, and vendor service. The data needed in the design are vendor selectioncriteria according to William J Stevenson, namely hierarchical data and criteria weightingquestionnaires. The method used to determine the priority level of vendor selection criteria is theAnalytical Hierarchy Process method. Based on the calculation of the AHP method, the resultsobtained are the criteria for quality of goods 0.19, location 0.12, response time 0.12, vendorinventory policy 0.09, flexibility 0.09, price 0.11, and vendor service 0.28. The largest priority valueis vendor service and the smallest is flexibility.
