Abstract

This study's goal was to outline the opportunities and challenges of how digitization will affect MSMEs. We combined publication trends from numerous papers using the qualitative methodology to find them. We found that the process of digitizing MSMEs involves switching from analog to digital technologies in order to improve the efficacy and efficiency of MSMEs business operations. The digitization of MSMEs has compelled stakeholders in MSMEs businesses to change corporate governance from outdated techniques to more contemporary ones. For MSMEs, becoming digital involves more than just utilizing technology to sell goods. Additionally, MSMEs will be able to manage their accounts, track their cash flow, and buy raw materials online as a result of digitization. As a result, digitization is crucial to the whole operation of MSMEs business activities.

Abstract

This research was conducted in Dairi Regency, North Sumatra. The purpose of this study was to determine the Export factors on local revenue of the Dairi Regency of North Sumatra. this uses quantitative and qualitative data and the model used is Path Analysis which is operated through the SPSS Version 25.0 for Windows program. In this study, the data collection method used was using a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The number of samples used was 20 tilapia fish entrepreneurs, the data collected by distributing questionnaires. Based on the results of path analysis testing directly Capital, Exchange Rates, Inflation, Exports, Production, Prices directly have a significant and positive effect on Regional Original Income (ROR), the purpose of this study is to analyse the effect of ROR on Capital, exchange rates, inflation, export production of tilapia prices in the Dairi district of North Sumatra. in this study shows that there are only two 2 variables that affect the regional original income of the dairi district, namely exports and selling prices that have a significant effect on the regional original income of the dairi district of North Sumatra. While capital, exchange rates, inflation, production have an insignificant effect on the local revenue of the Dairi district of North Sumatra.

Abstract

Foreign branding is a branding strategy by giving a brand name using spelling or pronunciation in a certain foreign language, with the main target of influencing the dimensions of brand image, and influencing perceived quality, as well consumer attitudes towards products. The purpose of this research is to explain foreign branding and its effect on brand perception. A literature review from various sources related to foreign branding strategy was conducted as part of the research. According to the research findings, brand image, purchase decision, and brand admiration are the effects of foreign branding. Consumers tend to prefer foreign-sound products because it creates brand image as international products which have best quality. So it effects on how people decide to but the foreign products and people also admire foreign-sound products too much especially in young generation. Local entrepreneurs should learn a lot about foreign branding to compete and upgrade the level of their products and sales.

Abstract

Hujan es merupakan fenomena cuaca ekstrem yang dipengaruhi oleh proses konvektif dan mikrofisika awan yang kompleks. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi pengaruh asimilasi data satelit menggunakan WRF-DA 3DVAR terhadap simulasi hujan es dengan WRF-HAILCAST pada kejadian hujan es Yogyakarta tanggal 11 Maret 2025. Dua eksperimen dilakukan, yaitu tanpa asimilasi (NODA) dan dengan asimilasi data satelit (DAST). Hasil menunjukkan bahwa asimilasi data satelit meningkatkan pembentukan hidrometeor fase es, ditandai dengan konsentrasi cloud water lebih dari 0,06 g/kg, kristal es lebih dari 0,014 g/kg, dan graupel mencapai 0,175 g/kg. Kedua eksperimen menghasilkan estimasi diameter hujan es 10–30 mm dengan diameter maksimum sekitar 25–30 mm. Meskipun tidak meningkatkan diameter maksimum, DAST mampu merepresentasikan lokasi pembentukan hujan es lebih mendekati distribusi ZHAIL radar. Selain itu, nilai koefisien korelasi reflektivitas meningkat dari 0,48 menjadi 0,56, menunjukkan bahwa asimilasi data satelit meningkatkan representasi struktur badai dan lokasi kejadian hujan es.

Abstract

Turbulensi atmosfer merupakan fenomena dinamika atmosfer berskala kecil yang berperan dalam pertukaran momentum dan panas, sekaligus berdampak bagi keselamatan penerbangan, terutama di wilayah tropis dengan topografi kompleks seperti pesisir barat Sumatera. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil angin vertikal dan karakteristik turbulensi atmosfer di wilayah Bandara Internasional Minangkabau menggunakan data radiosonde periode Desember 2022–November 2023 pada pukul 00 UTC dan 12 UTC. Karakteristik turbulensi dianalisis melalui frekuensi Brunt–Väisälä (N²), Bilangan Richardson (Ri), dan laju disipasi energi (ε) yang diturunkan dari Metode Analisis Thorpe, dilengkapi kontribusi geseran angin vertikal melalui closure Rmin, serta penyaringan Trend-to-Noise Ratio (TNR) untuk mengurangi deteksi overturning palsu akibat noise instrumen. Profil vertikal dibagi menjadi tiga lapisan: Lower Troposphere Layer (0–3 km), Middle Troposphere Layer (3–10 km), dan Upper Troposphere and Lower Stratosphere Layer (10–18 km). Pada periode penelitian, hasil menunjukkan bahwa kecepatan angin dan vertical wind shear meningkat tajam pada UTLS, dengan puncak kecepatan angin musim Desember-Januari-Februari (DJF) mencapai sekitar 29 m/s pada ketinggian 15–16 km. Lapisan UTLS teridentifikasi sebagai zona dengan kondisi instabilitas dinamis (Ri < 0,25) paling sering terjadi, yang mengindikasikan potensi shear-driven turbulence dengan frekuensi kejadian mencapai sekitar 40–48% terutama pada musim DJF, konsisten dengan nilai turbulensi aktual oleh εtotal serta kategori intensitas Severe yang juga memuncak pada lapisan yang sama. Mekanisme shear-driven teridentifikasi lebih dominan dibandingkan convective/overturning pada hampir seluruh lapisan dan musim, dengan kategori intensitas Severe mencapai sekitar 55–56% pada UTLS musim DJF.
