Abstract

Effective sex education plays a crucial role in providing children with a healthy understanding of sexuality, yet there persist various issues related to sex education in kindergarten. Classroom management challenges also represent significant obstacles that need to be addressed for the successful implementation of sex education. Within educational institutions like Ceria Timoho Kindergarten, the role of teachers in delivering sex education remains pivotal. This research aims to identify classroom management patterns used in providing sex education to children at Ceria Timoho Kindergarten through a qualitative approach involving observation, documentation, and interviews. Data analysis employed qualitative analysis methods. The research results reveal that the classroom management model for sex education emphasizes student-centric approaches that consider individual needs, holistic strategies encompassing emotional, social, and ethical aspects, the selection of age-appropriate teaching methods, the importance of effective communication, and the necessity for thorough evaluation to ensure age-appropriate understanding. These findings offer valuable insights into the significance of effective sex education in helping children comprehend and respect their sexuality, fostering emotional and physical awareness, and promoting overall well-being.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of differentiated learning management at Al-Ilham Banjar Inspirational Elementary School, a dynamic instructional approach tailored to address the diverse needs of individual students. Differentiated learning aims to optimize each student's learning experience and outcomes by adapting teaching methods, yet it presents significant challenges for educators in terms of planning, resource allocation, and evaluation. Using a qualitative research methodology, including interviews, observations, and documentation, this study investigates the school's strategies in managing these challenges. The findings reveal a comprehensive, three-tiered approach: (1) assessing and identifying students' learning readiness and needs, (2) organizing and mobilizing resources, such as actively involving parents and employing specially designed teaching modules that align with differentiated instruction, and (3) implementing varied instructional strategies, allowing differentiation across content, learning processes, and final products to cater to diverse learning profiles. Additionally, the school employs formative and summative assessment methods to monitor and evaluate students’ progress continuously, ensuring that differentiated learning outcomes are achieved effectively. This management strategy demonstrates a strong potential to maximize each student's abilities, providing a structured framework that could serve as a valuable reference for other educational institutions looking to enhance their differentiated learning practices. This study thus contributes valuable insights for schools and educators interested in implementing effective differentiated learning management.

Abstract

Kepemimpinan di sekolah ialah kewajiban berguna yang wajib dicoba oleh kepala sekolah. Perihal ini sebab salah satu bagian terutama dalam suatu badan merupakan kepemimpinan, sukses tidaknya sesuatu badan didetetapkan oleh kepemimpinan seseorang atasan dalam melaksanakan usahanya. Dengan begitu kualitas pembelajaran disebuah sekolah tidak hendak melonjak bila tidak terdapat pengembangan serta transformasi yang dicoba oleh kepala sekolah berlaku seperti arahan. Kepala sekolah dalam melaksanakan kedudukan kepemimpinannya wajib tetap berusaha membagikan transformasi kearah yang lebih maju dengan melaksanakan manajemen kenaikan kualitas. Dalam penerapannya kepala sekolah senantiasa mengaitkan masyarakat sekolah supaya bersama merasakan kalau sekolah ialah kepunyaan bersama. Dalam melaksanakan kepemimpinannya, kepala sekolah SMP Negeri 3 Bakam sudah penuhi tanggung jawab serta kedudukannya guna menggapai tujuan sekolah yang diharapkan serta menghasilkan atmosfer kegiatan yang mendukung serta mengasyikkan. Peran kepemimpinan yang dijalankan kepala sekolah SMP Negeri 3 Bakam yaitu yang pertama sebagai educator, kepala sekolah mengarahkan dan membina setiap guru agar melaksanakan tugas pengajaran secara tepat dan benar. sebagai manager, kepala sekolah telah melakukan peranan manajemennya. Peranan manajemen yang diartikan merupakan pemograman, pengorganisasian, penerapan, pengawasan, serta penilaian.

Abstract

Vocational Secondary Education creates graduates who are ready for employment in the labor market, aligned with the competencies and industry requirements of their fields. The implementation of the Teaching Factory has proven to be a solution for equipping students with the skills and knowledge necessary for entering the workforce. This study aims to analyze the role of student involvement in the implementation of the Teaching Factory in enhancing the job readiness of students at State Vocational High School 1 Jatibarang. A qualitative descriptive method was employed. The research was conducted at State Vocational High School 1 Jatibarang, with data collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings revealed that student involvement in the learning process through the Teaching Factory implementation significantly affects their skills, both soft and hard skills, regarding job readiness. Direct student engagement enhances the mastery of technical competencies, such as production processes and services, proficiency in skills relevant to their field, and understanding of standard operating procedures. Furthermore, the development of non-technical abilities equips students with skills in communication, teamwork, and problem-solving. Thus, student involvement in the learning process plays a crucial role in the job readiness of vocational school graduates, enabling them to integrate into the workforce.

Abstract

Principal transformational leadership in the era of technology and tight competition between schools provides new challenges and opportunities in developing school quality. This study aims to determine the implementation of transformational leadership at SMP Muhammadiyah Semin which has 30 teachers, and a principal who is always innovative and creative in developing and improving school quality. The principal of SMP Muhammadiyah Semin is able to deliver and change the public image of the school which initially began to decline in quality and public trust into a school that is the main destination for prospective students from various sub-districts. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques using in-depth interviews with the principal. Currently, the implementation of transformational leadership at SMP Muhammadiyah Semin can improve according to the vision and plan prepared by the management team. In its implementation, the principal gets problems and challenges from within and outside the school. These problems come from teachers, school facilities, and government policies related to PPPTK and DPK teachers. However, the principal can find a strategy from the challenges faced so that the leadership at SMP Muhammadiyah Semin can develop even better.

Abstract

Kemampuan guru dalam memanfaatkan teknologi merupakan hal yang penting untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan di era teknologi ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui serta menganalisis secara lengkap tentang kemampuan guru dalam penggunaan teknologi untuk pembelajaran di SMK Muhammadiyah Imogiri. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik survei menggunakan google form. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) 95,1% guru pernah memanfaatkan teknologi saat melukakan pengajaran, 2) 71,1% rata-rata guru sudah mengunakan LCD proyektor saat pengajaran dikelas, 3) 95,2% para guru pernah memanfaatkan gadget berupa laptop, komputer, atau smartphone di saat proses pembelajaran, 4) 86,7% guru telah memanfaatkan softwareatau aplikasi saat mengajar di kelas baik secara daring maupun luring.

Abstract

Classroom management by the teacher is one of the external factors that greatly influences the level of success of a student's learning. Creative and innovative classroom management has the opportunity to spark and grow students' self-confidence. Therefore, there is a close relationship between classroom management and students' self-confidence. This study aims to provide knowledge and understanding to teachers in increasing creativity and innovation in classroom management, so that they can grow and form students' self-confidence, especially elementary school students who are the golden age to shape children's personalities. Seeing how important it is to have a great sense of self-confidence to be able to appear in public without being too nervous. It needs to be trained and familiarized from an early age, one of which is through classroom management by teachers. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method, which is a process of data analysis carried out through the literature study stage. The results of the study indicate that the importance of the role of a teacher in managing the classroom is to trigger the growth and development of students' self-confidence. This can be done by a teacher according to the level of creativity and innovation of each teacher. The higher the level of creativity and innovation of a teacher in managing the classroom, the greater the opportunities and progress of students in building their self-confidence.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine the leadership roles of the principal in the effort develop teacher professionalism. This method uses literature review or litearture research, which is to study literature books that are in accordance with the teory discussed in the scope principal leadership and also analyzes scientific articles cited with using spinger link and google scholar. The results is showed that the role of leadership the principal by providing guidance, motivation and supervisioan, they are can improve professionalism of teachers in work which can have implication for learing process. Leadership principals in an effort to develop teachers professionalism can be done through, such as : 1) teacher attend training and seminars, 2) join to workshops or activities like KKG/MGMP/MGBK are used in designing or developing a learing curriculum and learing media.

Abstract

Purpose – This study explores teachers' perceptions of the Implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum at SMA Muhammadiyah 5 Yogyakarta. It aims to identify challenges and conveniences faced by teachers during its application, focusing on how the curriculum's core principles align with modern educational needs. Design/methods/approach – A qualitative descriptive approach was used, collecting data through semi-structured questionnaires completed by 21 teachers from various disciplines. The responses were analyzed thematically to highlight significant themes related to curriculum adaptation and execution. Findings – Key conveniences identified include enhanced teacher collaboration (33% of teachers reported positive experiences), relevance of teaching materials to students' real lives (19% of teachers appreciated this aspect), effective facilitation of the “Proyek Penguatan Profil Pancasila” (P5) (29% highlighted the benefits), and streamlined instructional content (19% acknowledged its positive impact). Conversely, challenges include implementing differentiated learning (24% of teachers found this particularly challenging), preparing for P5 (19% of teachers reported difficulties), developing the Alur Tujuan Pembelajaran (ATP) (14% of teachers faced difficulties in developing ATP), and understanding students' individual characteristics (24% of teachers faced faced challenges in this area). These findings present areas requiring further support and emphasize the curriculum's transformative potential. Research implications/limitations – The study is limited to one institution with a relatively small sample size. Findings suggest successful curriculum implementation requires improved teacher training, resources, and structured guidance, especially for differentiated learning and P5 management. Originality/value – This research contributes to the limited literature on Kurikulum Merdeka in Indonesia. It provides insights for policymakers and practitioners to optimize teacher readiness and resource allocation, enhancing the curriculum’s impact on teaching efficacy and student outcomes. Abstrak Tujuan – Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi persepsi guru terhadap implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di SMA Muhammadiyah 5 Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi tantangan dan kemudahan yang dihadapi guru selama penerapan kurikulum, dengan fokus pada kesesuaian prinsip-prinsip inti kurikulum dengan kebutuhan pendidikan modern. Desain/Metode/Pendekatan – Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner semi-terstruktur yang diisi oleh 21 guru dari berbagai disiplin ilmu. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara tematik untuk mengidentifikasi tema-tema utama terkait adaptasi dan pelaksanaan kurikulum. Temuan – Kemudahan utama yang ditemukan dalam penelitian ini meliputi peningkatan kolaborasi antar guru (33% guru melaporkan pengalaman positif), relevansi materi ajar dengan kehidupan nyata siswa (19% guru mengapresiasi aspek ini), efektivitas fasilitasi “Proyek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila” (P5) (29% menyoroti manfaatnya), serta penyederhanaan konten pembelajaran (19% mengakui dampak positifnya). Sebaliknya, tantangan yang dihadapi meliputi penerapan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi (24% guru mengalami kesulitan dalam aspek ini), persiapan P5 (19% guru melaporkan kendala), pengembangan Alur Tujuan Pembelajaran (ATP) (14% guru mengalami kesulitan dalam menyusun ATP), dan pemahaman terhadap karakteristik individu siswa (24% guru menghadapi tantangan dalam hal ini). Temuan ini menunjukkan area yang membutuhkan dukungan lebih lanjut serta menyoroti potensi transformatif kurikulum. Implikasi/batasan Penelitian – Penelitian ini terbatas pada satu institusi dengan jumlah sampel yang relatif kecil. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keberhasilan implementasi kurikulum memerlukan peningkatan pelatihan guru, penyediaan sumber daya, serta panduan yang lebih terstruktur, khususnya dalam pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dan pengelolaan P5. Orisinalitas/Nilai – Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada literatur yang masih terbatas mengenai Kurikulum Merdeka di Indonesia. Studi ini memberikan wawasan bagi para pembuat kebijakan dan praktisi pendidikan untuk mengoptimalkan kesiapan guru dan alokasi sumber daya guna meningkatkan efektivitas pengajaran serta hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Penerapan teknologi Sistem Informasi Manajemen Administrasi dengan koneksi jaringan lokal area diharapkan mampu mengintegrasikan administrasi di pesantren dan madrasah sehingga lebih mudah, cepat dan raoi dalam pengaturan serta pelaporannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dan mengupas tuntas tentang implementasi system informasi manajemen (SIM) dalam mendukung pembelajaran tahfidzul qur’an di Pondok Pesantren Muhammadiyah Abudzar Al-Ghifari Batanghari Lampung Timur. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif studi kasus. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Pondok Pesantren Muhammadiyah Abudzar Al-Ghifari Batanghari Lampung Timur. Data yang digunakan menggunakan data primer dan data sekunder. Sumber data diperoleh dari hasil wawancara responden dan pengamatan serta dokumentasi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan pendekatan wawancara semi terstruktur, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan pendekatan triangulasi sumber, triangulasi metode dan triangulasi teori. Teknik keabsahan data menggunakan model Milles and Huberchman. Hasil analisis data pada judul ini menghasilkan pola berfikir yang dinyatakan oleh peneliti bahwa Implementasi Sistem Informasi Manajemen (SIM) dalam mendukung program tahfidzul qur’an di Pondok Pesantren Muhammadiyah Abudzar Al-Ghifari dipengaruhi oleh metode pembelajaranyang kreatif oleh guru, strategi kuantum dan dukungan moril serta materil oleh donator sehingga dapat meningkatkan hafalan santri dari segi kognitif, afektif dan psikomotorik.
