Abstract

Needs assessment is the main thing performed by school counselors as a basis for developing a guidance and counseling service program. In conducting needs assessment, problems that frequently occur are related to ratios, feasibility and practicality of instruments, as well as needs assessment procedures. One solution that can be used to overcome these problems is the use of application analysis needs of students based on text communication media. This research aims to determine the efficiency of students’ needs analysis application based on text communication media on vocational high school students. The research method used was experiment with the one-group pretest-posttest design technique. The research population was 45 vocational high school counselors in Kediri city. The percentage of random sampling was 25% of the total population, so the number of subjects was 11 people. The research instrument was the Students’ Needs Efficiency Assessment Questionnaire by the school counselor and interviews. The research data were analyzed in descriptively and comparative tests. Based on the analysis results, the needs assessment of text-based media communication is to improve the efficiency of students’ assessment declared efficient.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi hasil pengamatan dan pengalaman peneliti, bahwa pembelajaran di SMK Hang Tuah Kediri masih didominasi oleh keaktifan guru (konvensional). Berpikir kritis merupakan sebuah kemampuan yang seharusnya dimiliki oleh semua siswa SMK. Untuk itu butuh upaya untuk mengembangkannya, salah satu upaya yang bisa dilakukan melalui layanan BK adalah dengan menggunakan teknik problem solving. Sehingga peneliti memandang perlu untuk mengetahui keefektifan teknik problem solving dalam peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SMK. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan one group pretest posttest design dengan subyek penelitian siswa SMK Pelayaran Hang Tuah Kediri kelas X Nautika A. Berdasarkan skor pretest, tingkat berpikir kritis siswa di SMK Pelayaran Hang Tuah perlu ditingkatkan. Hasil penelitian yang kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji Wilcoxon didapati hasil taraf signifikansi sebesar 0,007 dengan batas signifikansi rtabel sebesar 5% atau 0,05. Dari hasil tersebut dapat dinyatakan bahwa teknik Problem Solving dalam Peningkatan Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Siswa SMK Pelayaran Hang Tuah Kediri Kelas X Nautika A Tahun 2015/2016 terbukti efektif”.

Abstract

An important competency that must be possessed by the counselor is competence in communication and positive interaction with the school society. These skills include three things, namely with teaching staff, students, and students. From the dispute, there were no instruments that were eligible to get this ranking. The purpose of this research is to create a communication instrument of communication and positive interaction with the school society that has acceptance by experts and understanding. This research method is development research. Research subjects were two experts from academia and two experts from guidance and counseling. The results of the study with the subject of two academic experts are 0.34 with quite good/decent enough criteria. Results from research with expert research subjects 0.36 with the criteria quite good/decent enough. The conclusion from this study shows that the assessment instrument of communication competence and positive counselor interaction with the school society has had a good acceptance from experts and conversions. From the findings, the researcher provides suggestions: 1) before applying the instrument, the researcher needs to provide an understanding in the form of a direct explanation to the BK teacher on the function of the BK performance evaluation instrument; 2) the researcher should develop instruments using easy to understand language, straightforward and simple sentences, and the sentence is not too long; 3) in further research it is necessary to further develop the results of this research in the form of applicable technology.

Abstract

Pandemi covid-19 membawa dampak luar biasa pada perekonomian negara, peternakan ayam broiler/ potong tidak luput dari dampak tersebut. Di desa jombok, para peternak yang menjalankan system kemitraan inti plasma, banyak yang merugi karena tingginya proses produksi yang tidak diimbangi oleh harga beli dari mitra inti. Dengan keadaan tersbut banyak peternak yang memilih untuk menghentikan operasional ternaknya. Setelah pandemic berlalu, ternyata mereka kesulitan untuk bermitra kembali karena sarana dan kandang yang digunakan tidak lagi memenuhi kriteria mitra inti. Dengan resiliensi rendah dan penuh dengan keraguan mereka menjalankan peternakan secara mandiri dengan hasil yang tidak maksimal. Melalui PKM ini, tim pengusul menjalankan beberapa solusi antara lain: 1) konseling dalam rangka meningkatkan keyakinan dan kepercayaan diri peternak, 2) menyelenggarakan bimbingan dan pelatihan utnuk meningkatkan pengetahuan pengelolaan ternak secara mandiri, 3) Melakukan peremajaan pada sarana pokok yang digunakan untuk mengoperasikan peternakan, 4) Melakukan perbaikan minor pada kendang serta penambahan bibit unggul. Adapaun luaran yang ditargetkan dari kegiatna ini yaitu mulai dari publikasi jurnal dan prosiding nasional, artikel pada media masa, video kegiatan yang telah terunggah pada youtube, serta peningkatan pemberdayaan mitra.
