Abstract

This article explains how spiritual values and local traditions can be harmonized in human life in the modern era. The modern era, which is characterized by rapid technological developments, globalization and social change, often presents challenges in preserving spiritual and traditional values. On the one hand, sacred values such as moral and ethical foundations serve as guidelines for individuals and society to maintain a balanced life. On the other hand, local traditions express cultural identity that is rooted in people's lives. This article examines the importance of synergy between the two so that there is no conflict between modernity, religious values and customs. By adopting a dialogical and holistic approach, society can use modernity as a means to strengthen sacred values and maintain the continuity of traditions. This article also describes real examples of communities trying to harmonize the two and offers strategies for achieving harmony between spiritual values and local culture in facing modern-day challenges.

Abstract

The urgency is increasingly pressing amidst the complexity of environmental and social problems in dealing with the threat of diversity. Therefore, the integration of the Cambridge Curriculum and the Merdeka Curriculum is essential as it supports the quality of education and character development of students in facing global challenges. This study was conducted at SMAN South Sumatra. This research aims to analyze the integration of the Cambridge Curriculum and the Merdeka Curriculum in shaping Islamic character at SMAN South Sumatra. This research employed a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data were collected through interviews, documentation, and observation. The results of the research show that the implementation of the character formation program at SMAN South Sumatra found that all activities were integrated into the character formation program and had a significant influence. Apart from that, it can be applied practically in Islamic religious learning, developing a more adaptive curriculum, as well as theoretical contributions to the understanding of Islamic character formation in the curriculum in the current era.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh literasi digital terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) siswa kelas VIII di SMP Islam Terpadu ad-Durrah Medan Marelan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei melalui angket tertutup yang disebarkan kepada 59 siswa sebagai sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat literasi virtual siswa berada pada kategori baik dan memberikan kontribusi positif yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar PAI. Analisis regresi linier sederhana menghasilkan nilai koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar zero,621, yang berarti literasi digital memberikan kontribusi sebesar 62,1% terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar, sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya penguatan literasi virtual dalam pembelajaran PAI untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan hasil belajar siswa. Dengan demikian, sekolah dan guru diharapkan dapat mengembangkan program literasi virtual yang terintegrasi dalam proses pembelajaran.
