Abstract

As the objective of EFL teaching is to help students to communicate fluently in the target language, teachers should provide authentic models of language use for every level and age. To hit the target we should focus not only on linguistic, but also on literary and cultural elements. Since fairy tales offer these elements, they are highly beneficial to use in EFL teaching programs, especially for young learners. This objective of this research is to investigate the effectiveness of teaching English pronunciation through fairy tale media. This research was conducted at SMPS PGRI Pondokgede class 8-3. The writer has conducted field research for 1 month. Some data was taken through observation, process, and post-learning and teaching activities. This paper contains ways to improve students’ English pronunciation by providing Thumbelina and Pinocchio fairy tales. The result of this study indicated that: (1) teaching English pronunciation trough fairy tale is effective to increase students’ pronunciation (2) students become easier to understand the subject matter and increase their English vocabulary, and (3) students become more active and confident when reading texts or fairy tales by showing good pronunciation.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the communication strategy used by the local guide when guiding foreigners in museum kesejarahan Jakarta, especially the types of strategy in communication and the function of each strategy for the local guide to solving their problem in the museum. Communication strategy is the important thing that the guide needed to build a good conversation with the foreigners' visitor there. The objective of this study is to find out the most dominant type of strategy in communication and the functions of each strategy when the guide faced the problem when guiding, the writer used the descriptive qualitative method. The data collection was done by collecting the data from observation and the conversation problem with each foreign tourist. Primary data collected from direct field observations and interviews. The writer analyzes some conversations that can be shown as the problem faced by the tour guide. This research used theory by Celce-Murcia et al’s (1995) model of communication strategies is considered as the most complete and detailed. The writer divided communication strategies into five main categories. They are avoidance, achievement, stalling, self-monitoring strategies, and interactional strategies. Results showed that there were 5 types of communication strategy and The dominant of those theories was an interaction strategy. Abstract

Technological developments that occur in this era change consumer behavior in making purchasing decisions. Research on consumer purchasing decisions for a product has been done a lot. In this study, the authors aim to re-examine the factors that influence according to the current developments on consumer purchasing decisions on local Culinary UMKM products. In this study, The.factors.that become variables.are Online Advertisement, Online Marketplace, and Prices which are hypothesized to have an effect on Purchase Decisions for Local Culinary UMKM Products. The analytical methodused in this study is path analysis with the help of the SPSS for Windows version 26 statistical program. Respondents were collected from active social media users who had shopped for local UMKM products, both offline and online. Test the hypothesis that is guided by the value of sig.<0.05 then Ha is accepted and if the value is sig.>0.05 then Ha is rejected. This study also shows how significant the influence of Online Advertisement and Online Marketplace on Purchase Decisions directly or indirectly, which is through price as an intervening variable. The results obtained from this study are Online Advertisement, Online Marketplace, and Prices are proven to have a direct influence on Purchase Decisions. In addition, through the intervening variable, the value of the influence of Online Advertisement through Price does not have a significant effect on Purchase Decisions. While the Online Marketplace through Price has a significant influence on Purchase Decisions.

Abstract

Layanan internet untuk perusahaan dalam skala besar jaringan internet dibutuhkan router sebagai penghubung terhadap konetivitas, hampir setiap perusahaan pada bidang teknologi pasti memiliki sebuah jaringan yang dikelola oleh router Namun dalam segi keamanan sebuah router yang mempunyai tugas yang begitu besar terhadap jaringan memiliki kerentanan yang sewaktu-waktu dapat di manfaatkan oleh orang-orang yang jahat yang tidak bertanggung jawab Serangan DOS sudah berkembang menjadi serangan yang terdistribusi yang biasa disebut DDoS (Distributed Denial Of Services). Dari jenis-jenis serangan DDoS yang ada, serangan UDP-Flooding adalah jenis serangan yang dapat menyebabkan efek yang signifikan pada sebuah router Serangan UDP Flooding dilakukan dengan cara mengirimkan paket data yang begitu banyak, dan apabila terlalu banyak permintaan data dari user, akan terjadi Flood data atau kebanjiran data baik melalui transmisi Internet Protocol (IP) address atau mac address, Dalam pencegahan terjadinya serangan DDoS maka dilakukan pengamanan yang seharusnya pada router mikrotik, Salah satu pemanfaatan keamanan pada router mikrotik adalah implementasi fitur yang berada pada Firewall yang berfungsi sebagai filter rules dalam sebuah jaringan, Filter Rules merupakan salah satu firewall pada mikrotik yang digunakan untuk menentukan apakah suatu paket data dapat masuk atau tidak kedalam sistem Router MikroTik.

Abstract

The development of knowledge and technology has encouraged various large companies in Indonesia to compete with each other to advance their companies. PT Taman Impian Jaya Ancol, a unit of Sea World Ancol North Jakarta, has implemented an electoral procurement system as an application that realizes good governance. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of the E-Procurement system at PT Taman Impian Jaya Ancol Unit Sea World North Jakarta. The method used is a qualitative descriptive research method. Data collection techniques use observation, interview and documentation methods. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that PT Taman Impian Jaya Ancol Unit Sea World has a fairly good procurement administration procedure, with the principles of effective, efficient, competitive, transparent, fair and accountable. Electronic procurement is a web-based application system that carries out the process of all procurement of goods by utilizing the internet, by direct appointment and auction methods. The document process used by PT Taman Impian Jaya Ancol unit of Sea World Ancol North Jakarta, on the document for the implementation of procurement of goods includes a Bill of Quantity (BQ), a draft work agreement or contract, a Letter of Order (SP), a Report on Receipt of Goods (LPB), and a Minutes (BA) which are carried out regularly and archived properly. In the process of procurement of goods with an e-procurement system does not always run well, there are obstacles that occur during the implementation of procurement, namely from considering prices, not explaining complete specifications of goods, and applying the e-procurement system

Abstract

The government is currently stepping up its support for the digital literacy movement in the hopes that its citizens will become not just tech-savvy but also digitally literate and able to exercise responsible behavior when using digital tools. Micro, Small, and Medium-Sized Businesses (MSMEs) in the Sumedang area are among the primary audiences for this initiative. To help micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) compete on a larger scale and expand their customer base, marketing communications are being digitized. Therefore, the goal of this research is to examine MSMEs' use of digital marketing communications as a form of digital literacy. To better understand the phenomenon under investigation, this study employs a qualitative strategy and descriptive methods of analysis. Based on the findings of this research, the MSME Digital Literacy Development is implemented through the utilization of social media due to its low cost, high efficiency, and high effectiveness. Constructing content, databases, and promotional materials contributes to the growth of digital literacy. The use of social media for marketing purposes has the potential to expand the target audience beyond what could be attained through traditional channels of communication..

Abstract

This study compares the financial performance of PT Kimia Farma, Tbk, and PT Sido Muncul, Tbk in the pre-pandemic period and during the COVID-19 pandemic. The type of data used is secondary data obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the form of the financial reports of PT Kimia Farma Tbk and PT Sido Muncul Tbk before the Covid-19 pandemic (2018-2019) as a reflection of conditions before the COVID-19 pandemic and the 2020-2021 financial reports as a reflection of conditions during the COVID-19 pandemic. The data analysis tool used SPSS version 22 and the Wilcoxon Sign Test, a non-parametric test used to analyze data in two related groups, including cases before and after where the same object was observed under two conditions. The results of the research show the performance of PT. Kimia Farma Tbk and PT. Sido Muncul Tbk, there is a significant difference in the performance of PT. Sido Muncul Tbk is better than PT. Kimia Farma Tbk. both before the pandemic and during the Covid 19 pandemic, where the performance of PT. Sido Muncul Tbk is better than PT. Kimia Farma Tbk, both before the pandemic and during the Covid 19 pandemic.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of perceived price, product quality and service quality on customer satisfaction at PT Dafnet Media Gemilang in Bojonggede District, Bogor Regency. This study used a quantitative descriptive method by distributing questionnaires via Google Form to PT Dafnet Media Gemilang subscribers in Bojonggede District, Bogor Regency. The population in this study was 1200 people in Bojonggede District who were PT Dafnet Media Gemilang customers. Meanwhile, the number of samples was 120 people with the sampling technique used was the Slovin technique. In analyzing the data, this study used SPSS 26 to calculate the results of the Multiple Linear Regression variable test, t test, F test, and determination analysis. The results of this study indicate that based on the t test, price perception, product quality and service quality have a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction on PT Dafnet Media Gemilang in Bojonggede District, Bogor Regency. Based on the results of the F Test, price perception, product quality and service quality together have a significant effect on customer satisfaction at PT Dafnet Media Gemilang in Bojonggede District, Bogor Regency. Based on the results of multiple regression analysis, the effect of perceived price, product quality and service quality on customer satisfaction at PT Dafnet Media Gemilang in Bojonggede District, Bogor Regency is 76.5% while the remaining 23.5% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

Abstract  –  In industrial products and services, the handling of complaints can be used as a measure of the quality of products and services offered, one of them is in the automotive business (dealer). The purpose of this study is to prove and analyze the effect of quality of service and complaint handling to customer satisfaction, as well as customer loyalty Auto 2000 Ciledug Jakarta. Research method used in this study is explanatory research. The number of respondents in this study were 200 respondents. The means of analyis in this research is the structural equation modeling (SEM). The results showed that all three influenced one another. Customer satisfaction can be increased by improving the quality of service and complaint handling. Keywords: complaints, loyalty, quality of service, satisfaction

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of organizational culture and work environment on employee performance at PT Pamapersada Nusantara, both partially and simultaneously. This research uses a quantitative descriptive method by distributing questionnaires to PT Pamapersada Nusantara General Service Division employees. The population in this study was 70 people at PT Pamapersada Nusantara General Service Division. Meanwhile, the number of samples was 70 people, and the sampling technique used was the Purposive Sampling technique. In analyzing the research data, SPSS 26 was used to calculate the results of the Multiple Linear Regression variable test, t-test, F test, and determination analysis. Based on the t-test, this research shows that organizational culture and work environment positively and significantly affect employee performance at PT Pamapersada Nusantara General Service Division. Based on the results of the F Test, corporate culture and the work environment have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT Pamapersada Nusantara General Service Division. Based on the results of multiple regression analysis, the influence of organizational culture and work environment on employee performance at PT Pamapersada Nusantara General Service Division is 76.5%. In comparison, the remaining 23.5% is influenced by other variables not examined in this research.
