Abstract

Students think that being active in organizations can reduce academic achievement so that it causes delays in study and is faced with a dual role as a student who must excel academically and take care of ormawa. This study aims to determine the representation of academic achievement of students who are active in organizations. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that organizational activeness can increase the Grade Point Average (GPA) as evidenced that almost all award recipients are those who are actively involved in organizations. Organizational activeness can increase motivation, learning achievement as well as existence and self-actualization. Organizational activity can have a positive impact, namely an increased level of self-confidence, fostering leadership, organized time management, critical thinking, honed public speaking and having good relationships. And the strategies carried out by students to maintain academic performance include setting the Pomodoro Technique time, using an urgency matrix and flowchart to make it easier to determine the level of urgency of tasks, and involvement in the Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM) program which can be converted to Semester Credit Units (SKS).

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji implementasi pandangan filsafat Positivisme, Progresivisme, Humanisme, dan Pancasila dalam praktik pendidikan di Indonesia. Dengan metode tinjauan literatur, penelitian ini menganalisis peran masing-masing filsafat dalam membentuk sistem pendidikan yang inklusif dan adaptif. Positivisme memberikan kerangka kerja berbasis data empiris untuk evaluasi dan kurikulum yang terukur, sementara Progresivisme berfokus pada pembelajaran berbasis siswa yang fleksibel dan relevan dengan kebutuhan individu. Humanisme menekankan pengembangan potensi holistik siswa mencakup aspek intelektual, emosional, sosial, dan spiritual. Pendekatan Pancasila mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai moral dan kebangsaan untuk membentuk karakter siswa yang religius, demokratis, dan toleran. Gabungan pendekatan ini menciptakan keseimbangan antara modernisasi pendidikan dengan penguatan nilai-nilai lokal, meskipun menghadapi tantangan seperti ketimpangan sumber daya pendidikan dan kurangnya pemahaman mendalam oleh pendidik. Studi ini merekomendasikan sinergi berbagai filsafat pendidikan untuk menciptakan sistem yang komprehensif dan responsif terhadap kebutuhan masa depan.

Abstract

Mahasiswa merupakan aset bangsa melalui terlatihnya keilmuan dan keterampilannya. Kampus mengajar menjadi salah satu jembatan mewujudkan misi perubahan melalui mahasiswa selaku Agent of Change dan Social Control. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1.) Mengetahui bagaimana program Kampus Mengajar meningkatkan kompetensi mahasiswa, 2.) Mengetahui bagaimana program Kampus Mengajar meningkatkan peran mahasiswa sebagai Agent of Change dan Social Control. Menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif yang pengumpulan datanya dilakukan melalui wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Sampel penelitian ini merupakan mahasiswa peserta program Kampus Mengajar yang melaksanakan penugasan di SDN 3 Karangtengah dan SMKS PGRI 4 Kota Blitar sejumlah 19 Mahasiswa. Temuan penelitian ini menggambarkan bagaimana kemampuan mahasiswa berkembang secara softskills seperti kemampuan komunikasi, penyelesaian masalah, kreativitas, dan kemampuan bersosialisasi. Kemudian juga secara hardskill, seperti mengajar, penggunaan teknologi, menulis dan juga riset. Peran sebagai agen perubahan dan pengontrol sosial pun menunjukkan hasil positif melalui program inovatif yang berdampak signifikan dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa dan juga penyelesaian konflik yang dimiliki sekolah penempatan. Secara keseluruhan program Kampus Mengajar memiliki pengaruh signifikan tidak hanya bagi kualitas diri mahasiswa sebagai peserta namun juga peningkatan kualitas pendidikan dan budaya di sekolah lokasi pelaksanaan program.

Abstract

The independent curriculum is a learning curriculum that focuses on diverse intracurricular activities, with the hope that students can be more optimal and have enough time to strengthen competencies and deepen scientific concepts. At SMP Negeri 5 Tulungagung there are still teachers who experience difficulties in planning lessons in preparing administration such as analyzing learning outcomes and carrying out assessments. The researcher's aim in conducting this research was to determine the difficulties of class VII teachers in implementing the independent curriculum at SMP Negeri 5 Tulungagung. The type of research used was descriptive qualitative research with research informants, the principal, deputy head of curriculum, and 12 class VII subject teachers at SMP Negeri 5 Tulungagung. The techniques and instruments for collecting data for this research were carried out by means of interviews, observation and documentation. This research uses data analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions and verification. Based on the research results, it shows that there are several teachers experiencing difficulties in implementing the independent curriculum. The following are some of the difficulties faced by teachers, namely: teachers are not optimal in participating in independent curriculum training, teachers still experience administrative difficulties in analyzing learning outcomes and developing teaching modules that are adapted to school conditions and students, lack of complete IT-based learning media, such as LCD projectors which is not yet available in every class, there are some teachers who find it difficult to implement technology-based learning, and when it comes to entering grades into E-Reports, some teachers tend to have different understandings in determining minimum grades because there are no Minimum Completion Criteria.

Abstract

Higher education plays an important role in preparing a generation that is able to compete in the global era. However, not all students are interested in continuing their studies to college, one of which is influenced by external factors. Students' interest in continuing their studies to college is an important concern in the world of education, especially at the high school level. Based on the results of initial observations at SMAN 1 Kauman, it was found that only 37.3% of grade XI students were interested in continuing their studies, while 62.7% chose to work directly or start a business. This is influenced by several factors, such as the economic conditions of parents, the influence of peers, and the role of guidance and counseling teachers. This study aims to determine the influence of the socio-economic conditions of parents, peers, and the role of guidance and counseling (BK) teachers on the interest in continuing their studies of grade XI students at SMAN 1 Kauman. This study uses a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The results of the study showed that partially, the Socioeconomic Conditions of Parents (X₁) have a positive and significant effect on Interest in Continuing Studies (Y), obtained a calculated t value = 9.557> t table = 1.971, with a significance level of 0.000 <0.05. Peers (X₂) also have a positive and significant effect on student interest, obtained a calculated t = 9.348> t table = 1.971, with a significance of 0.000 <0.05. Likewise, the Role of BK Teachers (X₃), has the greatest positive and significant effect, obtained a calculated t = 17.222> t table = 1.971, with a significance of 0.000 <0.05. Simultaneously, the three variables have a significant effect on Interest in Continuing Studies with a calculated F value = 166.965 > F table = 2.65, and a significance of 0.000 < 0.05. The coefficient of determination (R²) value is 0.710, meaning that 71% of the variation in student interest is influenced by the three variables, while the remaining 29% is influenced by other factors not studied. The interpretation of these results shows that students who have parents with better economic conditions tend to have stronger financial and psychological support to continue their education. A positive peer environment also provides motivation and emotional support, while BK teachers play an important role in providing information, direction, and shaping students' awareness of the importance of higher education. These three factors together show a real contribution in shaping students' interest in making educational decisions to college level. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the Socio-Economic Conditions of Parents, Peers, and the Role of BK Teachers have a significant effect on Interest in Continuing Studies to College in grade XI students of SMAN 1 Kauman.

Abstract

Choosing a study program is an important decision for students because it is related to their future education and career. Many students do not fully understand their interests and talents about what they choose. This study aims to determine students' decision-making in choosing an economic education study program and the factors that influence these decisions. This study uses a qualitative method with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is carried out through four stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of the study show that students' decision-making is influenced by internal factors (interests, motivation) and external factors (job prospects, information from alumni). Students' interests are mostly in line with their previous educational background and are supported by their parents. Dominant information is obtained from alumni, more than from social media. The decision to choose a study program is based on considerations that are closely related to these factors.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of students' questioning activity in the learning process and identify internal and external factors that influence it. The subjects of the study were sixth semester students of class A of the Economics Education Study Program, Bhinneka PGRI University, Tulungagung in 2025. The study used a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results of the study showed that students' questioning activity is still relatively low and has not become a deep-rooted learning culture. The dominant internal factors include low interest in the material, lack of self-confidence, and suboptimal learning motivation. Meanwhile, external factors include a less conducive classroom atmosphere, teaching methods that are not fully interactive, and peer influence. Lecturers have a strategic role in creating an inclusive learning climate through active methods such as Problem Based Learning, group discussions, and providing motivation and a safe space to ask questions. This study concludes that increasing students' questioning activity requires a comprehensive approach that includes psychological, pedagogical, and social aspects in the lecture environment.

Abstract

This research is motivated by changes in student consumption patterns in the digital era, especially through the use of the Shopee marketplace. Features such as discounts, free shipping, Shopee PayLater, and promotions based on algorithms and social media make shopping activities easier and more attractive. However, this convenience also encourages the emergence of consumptive behavior. This phenomenon shows the importance of studying internal and external factors that influence student consumptive behavior, especially in academic environments such as the Economics Education Study Program, Bhineka PGRI University, Tulungagung. Problem formulation: (1) What are the internal factors that influence the consumptive behavior of students who use the Shopee marketplace at Bhineka PGRI University, Tulungagung?; (2) What are the external factors that influence the consumptive behavior of students who use the Shopee marketplace at Bhineka PGRI University, Tulungagung?; (3) To what extent do internal and external factors influence the consumptive behavior of students who use Shopee at Bhineka PGRI University, Tulungagung? The method used is qualitative with a case study approach to students of the Economics Education Study Program at Bhineka PGRI Tulungagung University who actively use Shopee. The data collection technique was carried out by in-depth interviews with seven informants selected purposively based on certain criteria. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Internal factors that influence the consumer behavior of students who use Shopee at Bhineka PGRI Tulungagung University consist of personal motivation, emotions, self-control in shopping, impulsive buying and following trends that encourage intensive online shopping, especially in the fashion category and other lifestyle needs (2) External factors that influence the consumer behavior of students who use Shopee include promotions, discounts, flash sales, the influence of social media and influencers, social environment and peers, ease of access and features of the Shopee application (3) Internal and external factors on the consumer behavior of Shopee students at Bhineka PGRI Tulungagung University are interrelated and reinforce each other, where internal psychological needs are triggered by external stimuli such as promotions and social pressure, thus forming intense consumer habits that are potentially financially risky, so that financial literacy is important to control this behavior.

Abstract

This research investigates the influence of location, price, and promotion on consumer purchase decisions for Getuk Pisang Bariklana products in Tulungagung. This decline is assumed to stem from a combination of external factors, including a potentially less strategic business location, a relatively higher price compared to similar competing products, and promotional activities deemed insufficiently broad and effective in reaching the target market. To achieve the research objectives, a quantitative approach was employed using a survey method. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents, who are consumers of Getuk Pisang Bariklana in Tulungagung. The data analysis technique applied was multiple linear regression. This method was chosen to comprehensively examine and measure the extent to which each independent variable (partially and simultaneously influences consumer purchase decisions.The research results indicate that, partially, the location, price, and promotion variables significantly influence purchase decisions, each with a significance value of p < 0.05. Simultaneously, these three variables also significantly influence purchase decisions, evidenced by an F significance value of 0.000. The coefficient of determination of 0.510 indicates that 51% of the variation in purchase decisions can be explained by the location, price, and promotion variables, while 49% is explained by other factors outside this research model.
