Abstract

Sale Community in Rembang adopts a ngunggahi ngunggah tradition of marriage, in which the woman proposed to or applying for a man who would marry. This tradition is locally called ngemblok. Ngemblok is one form of reverence to the relics of the past, a form of respect for the historical heritage. This tradition was passed on in people’s lives Rembang District especially among Sale community for generations through education in the family.

Abstract

Chinese ethnic in Pecinan Bintoro Demak is an Indonesian citizen who should have a sense of nationalism. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the understanding and form of participation in ethnic Chinese ethnic practices. The research method used qualitative approach with data collection technique through interview, observation, and document study. Interviews and observations were used to analyze ethnic Chinese understanding, while the forms of participation used interviews, observations, and document studies.The result of the research shows that (1) Chinese ethnic Pecinan Bintoro of Demak Regency have a unity meaning where society is united without seeing the difference of tribe, religion, culture, and all live together side by side. The family has a central role in instilling the values ​​of nationalism. (2) The form of ethnic Chinese participation is seen from the participation of ethnic Chinese in Kampung Pecinan Bintoro Demak District in several social activities, example salvation in commemorating Indonesia's independence day, and come to mourn when there are neighbors who died. Although for gotong royong activities, the competition on the anniversary of Agustusan is still not so visible, it does not make the boundary wall among the surrounding community.

Abstract

Students in the District Galesong Takalar not understand the cultural values ​​of the nation so that they do not correspond to the violation of norms that exist in society. The purpose of this study build social studies learning models based on cultural values ​​of the nation. The method used is the method mix types equental exsploratory strategy, data collection techniques by observation, documentation interviews, and questionnaires. Use of data analysis techniques, data reduction, data presentation, inferences and simple linear regression test. The focus of research about learning model IPS. The results showed that the factors affecting the formation of the character of students in the Public Junior High School 2 Galesong Takalar including family environment by 83.0%, 54.2% of the school environment, relationships 68.4% and 55.1% of social media while at Madrasah Aliyah Assalamiah Galesong influence of family environment of 88.2%, 79.0% of the school environment, relationships 43.6% and 73.7% of social media. This study recommends value clarification technique study model for shaping the character of students in social studies.

Abstract

The Kali Loji Festival is a means that was initiated to restore the local wisdom of the society of Pekalongan City in maintaining the preservation of the river. The festival is expected to increase public awareness around Kali Loji to maintain the cleanliness of the river. The formulation of the problem in this research is how the festival of Kali Loji in preserving the river in Pekalongan City. The purpose of this study was to find out and analyze the Kali Loji festival to preserve the river in the society around the Pekalongan Kali Loji. The research method is carried out qualitatively with the theory of structural functionalism and Habitus theory. Data analysis through qualitative analysis of interactive models. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the study show that the community's concern for the sustainability of the river is very low before the Kali Loji festival. The Kali Loji festival which teaches the people around Kali Loji not to throw garbage in the river and maintain the sustainability of the river for human survival, the concern of the community around Kali Loji starts to grow again. The activity of the Kali Loji festival makes communities more environmentally literate, so the people more aware of the river lodges and preserve the river. For people around Kali Loji to change habits to preserve the river better.

Abstract

Mutual cooperation and rotating work is a business activity carried out by several people, both farmers and farmers or farmers with the government to achieve the same goal of community harmony and economic prosperity. The purpose of this study is to analyze the values ​​of kinship systems towards agricultural modernization of farmers in Soki Village, Belo District, Bima Regency. The research method used is qualitative. The informants in this study were farmers in Soki Village, Belo District, Bima Regency. The technique of collecting data is by observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The validity of the data in this study uses triangulation techniques. The results of the study show that the value of mutual cooperation and rotating work carried out by farmers in Soki village are not only in agricultural activities such as planting, cutting, and harvesting. But the community of farmers in the village of Soki conducts mutual cooperation in celebration events such as circumcision, marriage and even at the opening of a new house. Mutual cooperation activities and rotating work have the same goal, namely to alleviate and facilitate work while preserving and applying the culture of the relics of the men.

Abstract

Environment content-based teaching material construction for social studies has become the prototype of the environment content-based social studies learning module for class VII SMPN students in Cirebon. Based on how to develop the construction of the social studies teaching material in accordance with the social studies learning nature so the positive impact on social studies learning activities. This research is R&D development with Borg and model Gall. The purpose of research in this research is to develop the construction of an environmental-based social studies teaching material that suits the types of social studies learning so that it positively affects the learning activities of social studies. The construction of the environmental-based social studies teaching materials in Cirebon, covering several phases including intelligence, schematic, assimilation and accommodation, equalization, and interiorization. The final result of this study is the development of an environmental-based social studies learning module with emphasis on students cognitive structure through the process of the asimilasi and the accommodation supported by direct visits to the Cirebon Kasepuhan. All experiences involve two similar processes such as introduction, or knowing, in connection with the assimilation process, and accommodation that results in a cognitive structure modification. These modifications can be shown as a learning process. Students show the environment-based social studies modules can also be a solution to improve quality in social studies learning

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the causes and effects of changes livelihood choices for generation Z children and the impact of social changes in farmer families in Desa Karangmalang. This research used qualitative with the form of case studies. The data is collected through observation, interviews, and documents. The collected data will be analyzed using qualitative analysis, namely by describing the results of research in the form of words or sentences so that the researchers describe in depth the results of the research in accordance with the actual conditions that occurred in the field. The research targets were generation Z children and farmer families. The results showed that the factors of changes in livelihood choices was motivated by the knowledge of generation Z children about farmers, the economic value of the farming family, and the social status of the farmer families for generation Z children. These factors have influenced the social changes of generation Z children to choose livelihoods other than farmers.

Abstract

____________________________________________________________ The research objective was to analyze the impact of changes in distance learning interactions. The approach method was qualitative. The data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation. The source and method triangulation were used as data validity techniques. The data analysis technique was done by collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, and verifying conclusions. The learning interactions of students before the pandemic period were: (1) Student learning interactions include the planning stage, the teaching stage, and the learning evaluation stage. (2) Forms of student interaction include learning cooperation, accommodation, competition. During the distance learning process, changes in interaction appear (1) Students who spend activities doing assignments, relaxing, helping parents, playing games, and hanging out with friends. (2) The teacher carries out the lesson planning; the learning application shares assignments to students and provides advice for students who are not disciplined. The impact of changes in distance learning interactions: (1) for students, experiencing shock, passive students, students looking for signals in various places, losses in the assessment. (2) for teachers, experiencing unprepared use of learning media, find it difficult to apply learning methods. (3) for parents, parents find it difficult to replace teachers' roles, forcing parents to be technology literate.

Abstract

Menulis merupakan salah satu kompetensi yang harus dimiliki oleh guru dalam mengkomunikasikan pandangan dan ilmunya sebagai bahan ajar maupun sebagai bahan pengayaan. Namun banyak guru yang ternyata masih awam dengan penulisan baik artikel maupun buku. Dengan demikian diadakanlah penulisan buku referensi dimana mereka dapat bercerita mengenai pengalaman mereka menghadapi kurikulum merdeka. Kegiatan pelatihan ini merupakan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang diadakan oleh Fakultas Ilmu Sosial, Universitas Negeri Semarang. Pelaksanaan pengabdian diawali dengan perencanaan dan persiapan seperti menetapkan sasaran, media pelatihan, waktu, narasumber, materi, dan mitra penerbit serta komunitas penunjang. Pelaksanaan dilakukan melalui daring dengan kuota 30 orang peserta yang dibagi ke dalam kegiatan sinkronus dan asinkronus selama satu bulan. Dengan adanya pelatihan ini banyak guru yang kemudian berminat untuk menulis dengan baik sehingga setelah pelatihan berakhir 2 buku keluar dengan judul Pengalaman Lapangan Pelaksanaan Kurikulum Merdeka dan Kebhinekatunggalikaan yang siap diterbitkan pad akhir Oktober 2022.

Abstract

Utilization of the environment is a learning approach that seeks to increase student involvement through the utilization of the environment as a learning resource. The purpose of this study is to analyze the lesson preparation plan, implementation of learning and assessment of environmental-based social studies learning in developing social skills of junior high school students during the Covid-19 Pandemic. This study uses qualitative research methods, namely research that produces descriptive data. This research was conducted by taking locations in SMPN 1, SMPN 3 and SMPN 12 Pekalongan. Data collection techniques are in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The data that has been collected is then analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis. The data that has been collected will be interpreted with source triangulation and technical triangulation. The results obtained from the research that environmental-based social studies learning can improve students' social skills during the covid-19 pandemic. The development of students' ideas and intellect can be more optimal when students are able to take advantage of their environment as a learning resource
