Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah mempunyai peranan yang cukup besar bagi kesejahteraan masyarakat. Sector ini mampu menyerap tenaga kerja cukup besar dan memberi peluang bagi UMKM untuk berkembang dan bersaing dengan perusahaan yang lebih cenderung menggunakan modal besar (capital intensive). Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah memperbaiki aspek manajemen pemasaran yang berdampak pada peningkatan penjualan. Mitra kegiatan ini adalah Kelompok Usaha Makanan Ringan Di Kota Tarakan meliputi Usaha Mikro Bude Ramdan Usaha Mikro Ar-Raihan. Permasalahan utama kedua mitra adalah mitra tidak terlalu fokus pada pengelolaan pemasaran lebih mengandalkan system pemasaran yang masih konvensional seperti system pemesanan barang, penitipan pada toko terdekat, serta penjualan di toko sendiri yang posisinya tidak terlalu strategis sehingga menyebabkan penjualan produk yang stagnan. Permasalahan mitra diatasi melalui penerapan manajemen dan teknik pemasaran produk mitra dengan menggunakan media internet (online). Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan diperoleh: 1) terdapat peningkatan pemahaman pentingnya teknologi terhadap usaha; 2) meningkatnya kemampuan dalam pengelolaan teknologi internet; 3) peningkatan dalam penyerapan pasar; 4) Peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi bagi mitra dalam mengelola website dan Social Media Marketing, yaitu kemampuan mitra mengkomunikasikan produk dan merk produk sehingga memiliki daftar pelanggan tetap pada website yang berpotensi melakukan pembelian produk secara berkelanjutan.

This study aims to examine the effects of institutional ownership, independent board of commissioners, profitability and liquidity on firm value. Goods and consumer manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange were sampled in this study with the period 2015 to 2019. Data analysis used statistical methods. The results showed that Institutional Ownership and Profitability had a positive and significant effect on firm value. Meanwhile, the independent board of commissioners has a negative and insignificant effect on firm value, liquidity has a positive and insignificant effect. This study implies that increased monitoring of institutional shareholders and increased performance is an effective way to increase firm value. In addition, the company must continue to improve the supervisory role of the independent board of commissioners and maintain the level of liquidity in order to have a long-term advantage.

There have been numerous studies investigating the dynamics of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) development. However, this research topic still offers several interesting research gaps to be explored. Accordingly, the purpose of this research is to test the effects of entrepreneurial orientation and asymmetric information that affect MSME entrepreneurs’ emotional biases, as well as the relationships between these variables and MSME’s financing and performance. Our research objects are MSMEs located in four urban villages in Salatiga City, Central Java that engage in various business sectors, such as the food and beverage, the service industry, the groceryw, and the horticulture sector. We analyze the research data with the Partial Least Square (PLS) software. The research results reveal that entrepreneurial orientation and asymmetric information positively influence MSME entrepreneurs’ emotional bias. Meanwhile, emotional bias has a significantly positive influence on financing. Finally, we also find that financing positively affects MSMEs’ performance. In sum, our study demonstrates the importance of the behavioral aspect (emotional bias) in explaining MSMEs’ performance through its indirect impact through financing.

The Covid-19 pandemic has forced the world to experience a global economic crisis. Economic decline has greatly harmed the business, including Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). Small and Medium Enterprises must be able to take strategic steps to maintain their business. The current research is aimed to conduct empirical test on the effect of responsive digital marketing, customer relationship management, and working capital efficiency on SMEs' efforts to maintain performance during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research sample was 57 respondents who represent SMEs of Processed Food. The data analysis technique used SEM-PLS. Result of research has shown that responsive digital marketing has been proved as helpful to SMEs in maintaining their sale performance during covid-19 pandemic. Besides this result, other finding has shown that main key to maintain customers and sale performance in sustainable manner during covid-19 pandemic is by improving customer satisfaction and building long term relationship with customers. Other finding has indicated that aggressive working capital management will facilitate SMEs to maintain their performance during covid-19 pandemic.

This research is aimed to conduct an empirital test on supply chain herding behavior of domestic investors in capital market in Indonesia by assuming that supply chain herding behavior is affected by the social effect of established investors and the informative effect of information regarding Earning Per Share (EPS) value. Motivation behind this research is a concern that many investors often make mistakes repeatedly in their investment decision, which later it forces them to suffer a great loss. This phenomenon is explained using Behavioral Finance Theory. The theory says that while making decision to invest, investors are affected more by irrational factor than rational factor. Research method was using 2x2 factorial experiment design that involved two factors and two indicators in each factor. The effect of two factors and also two indicators in each factor, either partially or simultaneously, on supply chain herding behavior in investment decision was tested. Data were collected by giving treatment to 100 investors. The collected data were processed for testing the hypothesis. Data analysis was done by determining mean difference value across the groups and examining the effect of independent variable on dependent variable. Result of research shows that the social effect of the established investors who are skilled in investment analysis is more dominant and significant on investors’ decision to invest than the informative effect of information regarding EPS value. The implication of this result is that investors need to understand their psychological condition and strengthen their investment analysis skill. It is suggested that the next research should use biased psychology as variable or other indicator of accounting information that influences investment decision.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh kompensasi dewan direksi dan dewan komisaris dalam meningkatkan nilai perusahaan melalui kinerja lingkungan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan non keuangan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2015-2019 dan sampelnya adalah perusahaan yang mengikuti Program Peringkat Kinerja Perusahaan (PROPER). Data dianalisis menggunakan PLS-SEM dengan aplikasi WarpPLS versi 7.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompensasi direksi dan dewan komisaris berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan dan kinerja lingkungan. Kinerja lingkungan berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan. Namun kinerja lingkungan tidak memediasi pengaruh kompensasi dewan direksi dan dewan komisaris terhadap nilai perusahaan. Penelitian ini mendukung teori keagenan dan teori pemangku kepentingan dalam menjelaskan strategi perusahaan untuk meningkatkan nilainya.

Entrepreneurial success will have an impact on economic growth. Entrepreneurship that integrates internet technology in its business activities will be able to improve business performance in the current digital economy era. This study aims to empirically examine the effect of internet technology-based business implementation on business performance. Internet technology-based business applications are measured by 5 indicators (online communication channels, online promotion channels, online supplier distribution channels, online sales channels, and online transaction channels). While business performance is measured by 5 indicators (profit growth, sales growth, capital growth, efficiency, and customer growth). The sample in this study was 100 UMKM in Tarakan city using the sample area probability sample method based on the sub-district area. Data analysis technique uses PLS-SEM method with WarpPls 6.0 application. The results showed that internet technology-based business implementation was able to encourage business performance improvement. The entrepreneur must be able to integrate its business operations with Internet-based technologies to create opportunities and facilitate building performance.Keywords: Entrepreneurship, Internet Technology, Online Business.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran likuiditas, leverage, dan profitabilitas dalam meningkatkan nilai perusahaan dengan pendapatan perkapita sebagai variabel moderasi pada perusahaan sektor properti dan real estate yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) selama periode 2017-2021. Pemilihan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Berdasarkan metode purposive sampling diperoleh sebanyak 44 perusahaan sehingga diperoleh 220 data observasi. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik SEM-PLS dengan aplikasi WarpPLS versi 8.0. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan likuiditas berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan, leverage berpengaruh negatif tidak signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan, profitabilitas berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan, pendapatan perkapita memoderasi pengaruh likuiditas dengan memperkuat hubungan terhadap nilai perusahaan, pendapatan perkapita tidak dapat memoderasi pengaruh leverage terhadap nilai perusahaan, pendapatan perkapita memoderasi pengaruh profitabilitas dengan memperlemah hubungan terhadap nilai perusahaan. Secara umum hasil penelitian ini mendukung teori sinyal tentang upaya perusahaan dalam meningkatkan nilai perusahaan.

Isu green business is a small part of a large real issue has hit the headlines of economic growth in the future, namely the sustainability of the business. The SME sector has an important role to make it happen. This role is obtained for the SME sector is a sector which has the closest relationship with the community. The purpose of research is to know the extent to which the implementation of green business has made SMEs in the town of Tarakan and know the role that implement green business input green, green process, green output, green marketing, government regulation and public awareness affect the performance of SMEs in the city of Tarakan. The results showed that the perpetrators of Small and Medium Enterprises in the town of Tarakan is said to have implemented environmentally friendly businesses. And the amount of Financial Performance for Small and Medium positively and significantly influenced by Green Output, Green Marketing, and Public Awareness Levels. As for Green Input, Green Process and Government Regulation, a negative effect but not significant.

Gender diversity in the corporate boards can determine dividend policy. The objective of this research is to conduct empirical test over the effect of gender diversity in commissioner and director boards on dividend policy with institutional ownership as moderation variable. Research sample is the companies listed at Indonesia Stock Exchange on period 2018-2022 and paying cash dividend. Data analysis is done using SEM-PLS with computer application of WarpPLS 8.0. The result of research shows that the positive effect of diversity gender in commissioner board on dividend policy is determined by institutional ownership. Gender diversity in director board has positive effect on dividend policy without moderation of institutional ownership. In general, these results are consistent to the agency theory that states that dividend payout can reduce agency problem.
