Abstract

This study aims to determine the existing condition of the regional innovation system in East Belitung Regency and analyze the challenges and opportunities in managing regional potential and creating superior commodities. The qualitative method is the approach in this study using secondary data sourced from related policy documents, while primary data is obtained through interviews and focus group discussions with stakeholders in East Belitung Regency. Research variables use variables from the general framework that are conducive to innovation and business. The results showed that various policies and regulations that could encourage the growth of the business sector and new industries in the form of regulations related to licensing and providing business funding assistance for business actors. Policies that encourage business activities, such as tax incentives and industrial and trade incentives, do not yet exist in East Belitung Regency. Likewise, policies or regulations related to the development of regional innovation activities and other carrying capacity, also not yet regulated. The current condition of RIS has not yet been formed in East Belitung Regency. However, some variable indicators to support the effectiveness of RIS have been owned and have been relatively implemented, although they are still sporadic and sectoral in nature. This condition remains an important capital for the preparation and strengthening of East Belitung Regency RIS. Of course, this basic capital still needs strengthening and development to be able to sustain RIS that works effectively.

Abstract

RSUD Pandega Pangandaran adalah sebuah rumah sakit pemerintah baru sehingga memiliki tantangan untuk dapat memperkenalkan rumah sakit kepada masyarakat melalui media sosial. Rumah sakit juga memiliki kewajiban untuk melaksanakan Promosi Kesehatan sesuai dengan Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan melalui kegiatan menginformasikan, mempengaruhi, dan membantu masyarakat agar berperan aktif untuk mendukung perubahan perilaku dan lingkungan serta menjaga dan meningkatkan kesehatan menuju derajat kesehatan yang optimal. Dengan pengelolaan media sosial yang baik, rumah sakit dapat menyajikan berbagai informasi kesehatan untuk masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengelolaan media sosial yang dilakukan oleh RSUD Pandega Pangandaran dengan menggunakan model sirkuler SoMe dari Regina Luttrel. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa RSUD Pandega Kabupaten Pangandaran secara aktif membagikan informasi seputar rumah sakit dan informasi kesehatan. Optimalisasi media sosial dilakukan dengan menetapkan standar dalam desain konten, keterangan gambar dan tagar yang digunakan dalam setiap unggahan di akun media sosial agar konten yang diunggah konsisten. Pengelolaan media sosial RSUD Pandega dilakukan secara manual dengan mengamati insight media sosial. Interaksi pengikut pada media sosial belum optimal serta engagement rate masih menjadi tantangan bagi pengelola media sosial RSUD Pandega. Pengelola dapat memaksimalkan fitur yang ada pada media sosial dan meningkatkan interaksi dengan pengguna media sosial.Kata kunci: Humas; Informasi; Media Sosial; Promosi Kesehatan; Rumah Sakit.

Abstract

Objek wisata Telaga Sarangan merupakan icon objek wisata yang ada di Kabupaten Magetan yang mampu menarik ratusan ribu wisatawan dalam setiap tahunnya. Namun sering waktu berjalan, terjadi penurunan atau ketidak stabilan jumlah wisatawan pada objek wisata Telaga Sarangan. Dinas Pariwisata dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Magetan selaku pengelola objek wisata Telaga Sarangan, dinilai perlu menerapkan strategi pelayanan guna meningkatkan wisatawan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan strategi pelayanan Dinas Pariwisata dan Kebudayaan dalam meningkatkan wisatawan pada objek Wisata Telaga Sarangan. Metode penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode pengumpulan data dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Adapun fokus penelitian menggunakan lima rumusan strategi peningkatan pelayanan publik menurut Osborne dan Plastrik 1997. Berikut lima strategi dan hasil penelitian, 1) Core Strategy (Strategi Inti), Dinas Pariwisata dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Magetan melakukan pembinaan sumber daya manusia (SDM) kepada pegawai yang berada pada objek wisata Telaga Sarangan, merawat fasilitas sarana dan prasarana pariwisata pada objek wisata Telaga Sarangan. 2) Consequences Strategy (Strategi Konsekuensi), Dinas Pariwisata dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Magetan mempunyai aturan sesuai dalam memberikan pelayanan yaitu maklumat pelayanan. 3) Customer Strategy (Strategi Pelanggan) Dinas Pariwisata dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Magetan memberikan pelayanan bagi para wisatawan dengan menyediakan fasilitas pelayanan 4) Control Strategy (Strategi Pengawasan) Pengawasan Dinas Pariwisata dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Magetan terhadap objek wisata Telaga Sarangan adalah dengan adanya arahan dan evaluasi dari pimpinan. 5) Culture Strategy (Strategi Budaya) Dinas Pariwisata dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Magetan memberikan pembinaan kepada anggota paguyuban dan pegawai agar sesuai dengan tupoksi. The Sarangan Lake tourist attraction is an icon of a tourist attraction in Magetan Regency which is able to attract hundreds of thousands of tourists every year. But often as time goes by, there is a decrease or instability in the number of tourists at the Sarangan Lake tourist attraction. The Magetan Regency Tourism and Culture Office as the manager of the Sarangan Lake tourist attraction, is deemed necessary to implement a service strategy to increase tourists. The purpose of this study is to describe the service strategy of the Tourism and Culture Office in increasing tourists at the Sarangan Lake Tourism object. This research method is a qualitative descriptive method of collecting data using observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. The research focus uses five formulations of strategies to improve public services according to Osborne and Plastrik 1997. The following are the five strategies and the results of the research are 1) Core Strategy, the Tourism and Culture Office of Magetan Regency conducts human resource (HR) training for employees who located at the Sarangan Lake tourist attraction, maintains tourism facilities and infrastructure at the Sarangan Lake tourist attraction, and cooperates with the relevant stakeholders. 2) Consequences Strategy, the Tourism and Culture Office of Magetan Regency has appropriate rules in providing services, namely service announcements. 3) Customer Strategu, The Office of Tourism and Culture of Magetan Regency provides services for tourists by providing service facilities 4) Control Strategy, Supervision of the Tourism and Culture Office of Magetan Regency for the Telaga Sarangan tourist attraction is with directions and evaluations from leader. 5) Culture Strategy, Office of Tourism and Culture of Magetan Regency provides guidance to community members and employees so that they are in line with their main duties and functions.

Abstract

Media is a tool used by companies or institutions to convey information to the public. The media has an important role in the success of a promotional program. Hospitals have the function of improving public health status by conveying information and health education in accordance with the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 44 of 2018 concerning the implementation of health promotion. This study aims to determine the media and health promotion program at the Regional General Hospital in Purwakarta Regency. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques of observation, interviews, and literature study. The results showed that the RSUD in Purwakarta Regency used internal media including audio and visual media, posters, leaflets and banners for health promotion to patients, patient families and hospital human resources. Meanwhile, for health promotion targeting the external public, hospitals utilize digital media such as websites, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube. Health promotion programs implemented by the hospital include education on healthy lifestyles, drug use, dental care, and other health education related to the top ten diseases in hospitals. The hospital periodically evaluates health promotion activities.

Abstract

KBRI Damaskus sebagai perwakilan tertinggi Republik Indonesia di Republik Arab Suriah memiliki tanggung jawab untuk melakukan nation branding Indonesia guna mempromosikan dan meningkatkan citra serta reputasi Indonesia di Suriah. Kelas Bahasa Indonesia merupakan salah satu strategi KBRI Damaskus dalam melakukan kegiatan nation branding di Suriah. Kelas ini dibuka secara gratis untuk masyarakat Suriah dari berbagai latar belakang profesi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses nation branding yang dilakukan oleh KBRI Damaskus melalui kegiatan Kelas Bahasa Indonesia dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif studi kasus dengan melakukan observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa KBRI Damaskus melakukan serangkaian proses branding untuk dapat membangun nation brand Indonesia, antara lain adalah proses brand positioning, brand identity, brand personality dan brand communication. Berdasarkan proses tersebut, KBRI Damaskus mengadakan Kelas Bahasa Indonesia, sebagai strategi yang paling tepat. Serangkaian proses nation brand ini cukup efektif karena angka skor indeks citra KBRI Damaskus memperoleh hasil yang cukup tinggi.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of community involvement and attachment on the development of pioneer tourism villages, specifically focusing on Panundaan Tourism Village in West Java, Indonesia. Employing a quantitative methodology, the research utilizes structured questionnaires to gather data from residents, analyzing their perceptions of the costs and benefits associated with tourism development. Utilizing Social Exchange Theory as a theoretical framework, this study seeks to understand how perceived costs and benefits influence community support for tourism initiatives and how these perceptions correlate with residents' life satisfaction. The analysis, conducted through Structural Equation Modeling, reveals that deeper community attachment enhances perceived benefits but also heightens awareness of costs. The findings highlight the complex interplay between community involvement, perceived benefits, and life satisfaction, offering insights into strategies for sustainable tourism development in pioneer tourism villages.

Abstract

Background: The rapid advancement of technology and information has necessitated libraries to transform respective services in order to remain relevant and effective. To achieve relevance and effectiveness, libraries must cultivate an organizational culture that supports necessary transformations, particularly in the field of library services. In particular, libraries that significantly support research have been found to continually innovate respect offerings with the sole purpose of providing information capable of facilitating the research process. Purpose: This research aimed to examine the support provided by the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) for the successful documentation of publications, with a specific focus on the evolving services offered by the library. Method: The research method used is qualitative research with a case study approach. Result:The BRIN Library offers a variety of services, including research consultation, information retrieval, bibliometric analysis, data visualization, literature review support, and plagiarism detection. In order to achieve the stated objective, a qualitative method was adopted with a case study approach to explore the phenomenon of knowledge-sharing in the context of library transformation as part of its organizational culture. Conclusion: The obtained results showed that knowledge-sharing activities at BRIN Library played a significant role in enhancing the expertise of librarians and improving the quality of research services. These services were observed to be facilitated through formal and informal programs, egalitarian leadership practices, as well as internal and external motivational strategies. It was also found that BRIN librarians actively contributed to research innovation in Indonesia by enabling access to critical information, promoting information literacy, and fostering collaboration among academics. Based on the findings, knowledge-sharing activities within libraries supporting research were inferred to lead to the cultivation of an organizational culture that promotes interdisciplinary and inter-institutional collaboration.

Abstract

Background: Health promotion is an important part of the health services strategy in hospitals around the world, including in Indonesia. Hospitals can contribute to improving Indonesians’ health by complying with regulations and following government plans. Al Islam Hospital is a type B hospital in Bandung that has adopted diverse health promotion and communication programs. RS Al Islam Bandung is committed to improving the community’s health status through various programs. Purpose: This study aimed to understand how the hospital’s health promotions (PKRS) installation implements advocacy, community empowerment, and partnership programs through communication activities and media. Methods: We employed a qualitative method that included interviews, observation, and a review of relevant literature. Results: The results showed that RS Al Islam Bandung had integrated the principles of effective health communication into its PKRS program. Firstly, hospital management engages in health advocacy by issuing policies in various media that support health promotion programs; secondly, Al Islam Bandung Hospital equips the community with the information, willingness, and skill necessary to tackle the different health issues by involving patients and their families, hospital human resources, and the community; and thirdly, RS Al Islam Bandung establishes collaboration with educational institutions, local communities, and mass media. Conclusion: For the sustainability and effectiveness of health promotion programs, hospitals must ensure continued cooperation with stakeholders and continue to improve their health communication media. Implication: The study suggests that hospital management can conduct a continuous evaluation of health promotion activities carried out at Al Islam Bandung Hospital so that the health promotion and communication activities are not limited to the hospital area. The hospital can achieve this by optimizing its communication media. Hospitals can start using social media analytics and SEO campaigns to produce messages that cater to the needs of their audience.

Abstract

Instagram @kotabaruparahyangan adalah fanpage realestate di Kabupaten Bandung Barat dengan jumlah followers lebih dari 50,000. Followers memiliki preferensi yang berbeda terkait jenis konten yang mereka sukai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jumlah dan jenis, preferensi, serta sentimen followers pada postingan akun Instagram @kotabaruparahyangan. Digunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan akun Instagram @kotabaruparahyangan memiliki pola yang dinamis dalam postingannya. Frekuensi tertinggi berjumlah 23 postingan pada September 2023, sedangkan frekuensi terendah 14 postingan pada bulan Mei 2023. Jenis postingan experiental menjadi postingan dengan tingkat frekuensi tertinggi, kemudian emotional, resonance, personal, dan educational dengan frekuensi terendah. Preferensi followers berdasarkan perhitungan engagement rate menghasilkan kategori postingan educational bernilai 6,8%, experiental 1,4%, emotional 1,1%, resonance 0,70%, dan personal 0,68%. Melalui sentiment analytic tools Sentitude, sentimen followers didominasi oleh sentimen netral 92%, positif 7%, dan negatif 1%. Menunjukkan bahwa interaksi followers tidak menunjukkan reaksi yang kuat baik positif maupun negatif terhadap konten.

Abstract

Health promotion in hospitals is implemented based on the Regulation of the Minister of Health No. 44 of 2018 concerning the Implementation of Hospital Health Promotion. Health promotion is a community empowerment process that provides information, influences, and assists communities in supporting behavioral and environmental changes. Hospitals, both public and private, are required to conduct health promotion following the principles of a healthy paradigm to improve public health. This qualitative descriptive study aims to determine the types of information, health promotion tactics, and communication media used by the Regional General Hospital (RSUD) in Subang Regency. Data collection techniques employed library studies, observations, and in-depth interviews with the hospital's health promotion team. The results showed that health promotion in hospitals has been carried out since 2015. Information and health promotion programs include health counseling at the hospital, community outreach, community education, and health talk shows. The information conveyed consists of hospital services, diseases and treatment, and health tips. Communication media used include audio media in the hospital, print media (leaflets, brochures, and billboards), and digital media (websites, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube) to reach a wider audience.
