Abstract

History learning is often still dominated by mainstream material in textbooks. Local historical studies, such as Chinese-Javanese relations in Yogyakarta, have yet to be accommodated. For this reason, this study formulates the construction of history learning about Chinese-Javanese harmony in Yogyakarta in the context of utilizing public history. This qualitative research uses library methods to identify history learning sources about Chinese-Javanese relations in Yogyakarta. Furthermore, with the critical theory paradigm, the construction of history learning with the perspective of diversity regarding Chinese-Javanese harmony in Yogyakarta is formulated that can be applied in the classroom. As a result, it was found that the existence of the Chinatown area, inscriptions at the Yogyakarta Palace, kelenteng (temples), wayang Cina-Jawa or Wacinwa (Chinese-Javanese puppets), and local cuisine can be a source of learning the history of Chinese-Javanese harmony in Yogyakarta. These learning sources have the potential to be studied in the space of public history, so history learning can be constructed by encouraging students to produce public historical works in digital form through social media so that they can be widely enjoyed. Constructing history learning like this can contribute to building diverse discourses in society to strengthen national integration.Keywords: Chinese, Yogyakarta, public history, history learning, diversity.Pembelajaran sejarah kerap masih didominasi materi arus utama dalam buku teks. Kajian sejarah lokal seperti relasi Tionghoa-Jawa di Yogyakarta belum terakomodasi. Untuk itu, penelitian ini merumuskan konstruksi pembelajaran sejarah tentang keharmonisan Tionghoa-Jawa di Yogyakarta dalam konteks pemanfaatan sejarah publik. Penelitian kualitatif ini menggunakan metode penelitian kepustakaan untuk mengindentifikasi sumber-sumber belajar sejarah tentang relasi Tionghoa-Jawa di Yogyakarta. Selanjutnya dengan paradigma teori kritis dirumuskan konstruksi pembelajaran sejarah berwawasan kebinekaan mengenai keharmonisan Tionghoa-Jawa di Yogyakarta yang dapat diterapkan di kelas. Hasilnya didapati bahwa keberadaan kawasan Pecinan, prasasti-prasasti di Keraton Yogyakarta, kelenteng, wayang Cina Jawa (Wacinwa), dan kuliner lokal dapat menjadi sumber belajar sejarah keharmonisan Tionghoa-Jawa di Yogyakarta. Sumber-sumber belajar tersebut berpotensi untuk dikaji dalam ruang sejarah publik, maka pembelajaran sejarah dapat dikonstruksi dengan mendorong siswa menghasilkan karya sejarah publik dalam bentuk digital melalui media sosial sehingga dapat dinikmati secara luas. Konstruksi pembelajaran sejarah seperti ini dapat berkontribusi membangun wacana kebinekaan di tengah masyarakat untuk menguatkan integrasi bangsa.Kata kunci: Tionghoa, Yogyakarta, sejarah publik, pembelajaran sejarah, kebinekaan.

Abstract

Tasikmalaya Regency, under the government of Raden Adipati Aria Wiratanuningrat, experienced significant developments in batik, woven and cloth, factory construction, market development, transportation, economic centers, and the development of cooperation. This development was also followed by challenges that must be passed because, at that time, Tasikmalaya Regency faced a situation due to the world depression from 1929-1937. The purpose of this study was to describe the economic crisis of Tasikmalaya Regency during the reign of Raden Adipati Aria Wiratanuningrat. The method used is the historical method, a systematic set of principles and rules intended to assist in collecting historical sources, assessing them critically, and presenting a synthesis of the results achieved. The results found in this study include that Raden Adipati Aria Wiratanuningrat was able to make the people of Tasikmalaya Regency not panic when facing the impact of the world depression from 1929-1937. He can also provide solutions so that the economic situation continues to develop in a world depression. One solution is to build cooperation so that the business followed by the community continues. Economic developments that can be seen are the industrial centers of batik, woven cloth, hats, and umbrellas. There is also an increase in the number of factories, a wholesale market, and means of transportation that can facilitate the mobilization of the community and entrepreneurs.Keywords: Sukapura Regency, Tasikmalaya Regency, Raden Adipati Aria Wiratanuningrat, Priangan RegentKabupaten Tasikmalaya di bawah pemerintahan Raden Adipati Aria Wiratanuningrat mengalami perkembangan yang cukup signifikan di bidang kerajinan batik, anyaman dan kain, pembangunan pabrik, pembangunan pasar, transportasi, sentra ekonomi, dan berkembangnya cooperation. Adapun perkembangan ini juga diikuti dengan tantangan yang harus dilaluinya karena pada masa itu Kabupaten Tasikmalaya menghadapi situasi akibat depresi dunia pada tahun 1929-1937. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran situasi perekonomian Kabupaten Tasikmalaya pada masa pemerintahan Raden Adipati Aria Wiratanuningrat. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode sejarah, yaitu seperangkat prinsip dan aturan yang sistematis yang dimaksudkan untuk membantu dalam pengumpulan sumber-sumber sejarah, menilainya secara kritis, dan menyajikan suatu sintesis hasil yang dicapai. Hasil yang ditemukan pada penelitian ini di antaranya adalah Raden Adipati Aria Wiratanuningrat mampu membuat masyarakat Kabupaten Tasikmalaya untuk tidak panik saat menghadapi dampak depresi dunia pada tahun 1929-1937. Dia juga mampu memberikan solusi agar situasi perekonomian tetap berkembang dalam keadaan depresi dunia. Salah satu solusinya adalah mengembangkan cooperation agar usaha yang diikuti oleh masyarakatnya tetap berjalan. Perkembangan perekonomian yang terlihat yaitu adanya sentra industri kerajinan batik, anyaman dan kain, topi, dan payung. Terdapat juga peningkatan jumlah pabrik, adanya pasar induk, alat transportasi yang dapat memfasilitasi mobilisasi masyarakat dan pengusaha.Kata Kunci: Kabupaten Sukapura, Kabupaten Tasikmalaya, Raden Adipati Aria Wiratanuningrat, Bupati Priangan

Abstract

This research is entitled “Kuda Kosong Art of Cianjur (1998-2011) (Study of Traditional Art in The Global Flow)”. The reason behind this research is the fact that the art of Kuda Kosong in Cianjur District was once banned, then reappeared and the lack of writings or studies on local history, especially about Kuda Kosong in Cianjur District. So this research focuses on the development of Kuda Kosong art in 1998-2011 in Cianjur District. This study aims to obtain information about the ebb and flow of Kuda Kosong art in Cianjur District. This study aims to obtain information about the ebb and flow of the Kuda Kosong art in Cianjur District. The method used in this research is historical method consisting of several steps that includes the collection of the source material, verification or criticism regarding the source of research, and historiography or written history. The results of the Kuda Kosong art research in Cianjur District include information that this art has existed since the 18th century in Cianjur District. The development of Kuda Kosong art experiences ups and downs and there is a change in function, namely kuda kosong art can be addressed publicly which at first can only be witnessed by guests of the pavilion. The procession of ngalinggihkeun and ngalungsurkeun in Kuda Kosong art was eliminated because it was considered not in accordance with Islamic law. As a result, it hampered the development of the Kuda Kosong art in 1998. Efforts to preserve the kuda kosong art, the government collaborated with various parties involved, namely artists, cultural observers, and MUI so that the Kuda Kosong art could be performed again with the condition that some deviant processions were eliminated.

Abstract

This research is based on findings from class XI IPS in SMA Pasundan 2 Bandung, which shows a low level of student skills in processing information. To resolve the issue, researchers are implementing the use of gadgets to enhance student skills in processing information. The goal of this research is to enhance student skills in processing information during history lessons. This research uses Action Research methodology. The results of the research from the first cycle, second cycle, and third cycle show a significant increase. In the first cycle, the students' ability to process information was still low. This was due to the students' lack of optimizing their use of gadgets in searching for information, using unreliable sources, and not being able to interpret information in their own language. In the second cycle, a significant improvement occurred in all three indicators. In the third cycle, the students fully utilized their gadgets to search for information and did not rely on a single source of information. They used credible sources of information, interpreted the information in their own language, and presented the information in a concise, dense, and easily understandable manner using infospace media. With the results of this research, it is hoped that relevant parties can develop and improve the learning process of history through the use of gadgets.

Abstract

Abstract When the Covid C-19 Pandemic hit the world, all museums in various parts of the world were closed, including the National Education Museum of Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI National Education Museum). This paper aims to explore how the UPI National Education Museum metamorphosed, and passed the pandemic period by continuing to provide services to the academic community, in its function as a learning resource and edutourism-based sustainable education space. Through a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques in the form of documentation studies and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) with inductive analysis, it was found that the UPI National Education Museum in addition to carrying out its functions in the fields of education, research and recreation, also expanded it towards triple helix cooperation, involving the private sector / DUDI (Business and Industry World). To be able to carry out its mission, the UPI National Education Museum must change its status from an ordinary unit to an autonomous unit.  This research recommendation by the university policy holders (UPI) is used as one of the academic texts in deciding the UPI National Museum to be the only unit in UPI that is autonomous with flexibility in presenting programs from outside, especially in collaboration with the private sector, known as triple helix. This means that the UPI National Museum has followed the trend of world museums, which carry out re-imagine and recovery movements when Covid C-19 begins to subside.

Abstract

The three objectives of this research are to: (1) organize history learning utilizing the Merdeka curriculum for historical thinking skills; (2) refine the Merdeka curriculum for historical thinking skills; and (3) serve as an assessment of historical thinking abilities. activities for teaching and learning history that rely on critical thinking. In this work, a case study methodology is combined with a qualitative method. Teachers, students, records, curricula, and historical thinking abilities are the informants that provide the data. Activities for teaching and learning in history classes do not adhere to the standards of assessment. Nonetheless, educators have made an effort to follow certain guidelines and execute their own curricula as precisely as they can. Applications of the Merdeka Curriculum can be modified to take into account historical thinking abilities in the context of teaching history. The study's findings indicate that: (1) Teachers plan the history lessons in the Independent Curriculum; and (2) History lessons are implemented in a way that closely aligns with student achievement. (3) The autonomous curriculum's learning principles are not followed in the learning process. Additionally, there are less situational learning and monotonous learning strategies. (4) There are multiple instances in which the Independent Curriculum-based teaching and learning evaluation principles are not followed in the execution of the evaluation of teaching and learning activities.

Abstract

The aims of this research are (1) to plan history learning using the Merdeka curriculum for historical thinking skills, (2) to improve the Merdeka curriculum in relation to aspects of history learning for historical thinking skills, and (3) As an evaluation of history teaching and learning activities based on thinking skills. Merdeka Curriculum Aspects of Historical Thinking Skills in SMA Pasundan 2 Cimahi, Especially in Schools that Implement the Merdeka Curriculum. This research applies qualitative methods with a case study approach. The data sources are informants: teachers, students, documents, curriculum, and historical thinking skills. Research findings show that (1) Merdeka Curriculum history learning planning is carried out by teachers who prepare their own ATP and learning modules; However, one of the schools where he could use KOSP was closed, and the teachers at both schools did not know the whereabouts and contents of his KOSP. (2) Implementation of history learning depends on student performance. There are several learning processes that do not follow learning principles, such as Education modules that are not prepared. PLP students take classes based on a unique curriculum. There are no student teaching evaluations for teachers. There are also monotonous learning methods, less situational learning, and unused social studies books. (3) In evaluating teaching and learning activities, there are several cases where the implementation does not follow the principles of teaching and learning evaluation based on the Merdeka Curriculum. Teaching and learning activities in history classes are not in line with assessment principles. There are no student self-assessments or peer assessments, no in-module assessment rubrics, and no post-test quizzes. However, teachers have tried to adhere to some principles and implement their own curriculum as closely as possible. Implementing the Merdeka Curriculum from the perspective of historical thinking skills in history education can be adapted to the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum established by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Sejarah maritim dapat menjadi sebuah langkah startegis bagi Indonesia untuk memahami dan menghargai keberagaman di Indonesia. Hadirnya Aplikasi Banten Harbour menjadi sebuah inovasi guna membumikan multiklturalisme Indonesia melalui sudut pandang historis serta penyajiannya melalui media pembelajaran yang kekinian, yaitu aplikasi android yang kini tengah digandrungi oleh siswa dan menjadi bagian yang tidak terpisahkan dalam kehidupan kita di era revolusi 4.0. Artikel ini membahas bagaimana efektivitas aplikasi banten Harbour dalam meningkatkan kesadaran multikultural siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain The one group pre-test post-test design. Analisis data dilakukan dengan statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Hasil penelitian ini menujukkan bahwa terdapat penggunaan Aplikasi Banten Harbour selama 12 pertemuan telah memengaruhi perubahan hasil pre-test dan post-test kesadaran multikultural siswa dan penggunaan Aplikasi Banten Harbour terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kesadaran multikultural siswa dibuktikan melalui Uji Wilxocon dan Uji N Gain. Peningkatan kesadaran multikultural siswa juga terlihat pada perubahan siswa yang mengurangi sikap diskriminasi terhadap sesame teman, saling menghargai Bahasa daerah masing-masing dan semakin memahami berbagai perbedaan budaya melalui pembelajaran berbasis Aplikasi Banten Harbour ini. Selain itu, Aplikasi Banten Harbour juga dapat memotivasi siswa dalam belajar sejarah dan menjadikan pembelajaran sejarah lebih menyenangkan.
