Abstract

Pendahuluan:  Kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan dan staf di rumah sakit merupakan salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi kualitas pelayanan kesehatan. Ketidakpuasan kerja terhadap suatu pekerjaan akan berdampak pada menurunnya motivasi kerja, menurunnya loyalitas karyawan serta mengakibatkan tingginya tingkat perputaran karyawan atau turnover. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran kepuasan kerja perawat di Ruang Rawat Inap RSUD Wangaya. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Deskriftif Kuantitatif dengan jumlah populasi 165 perawat dan jumlah sampel sebanyak 130 responden dengan teknik pengambilan sampel purpossive sampling. Adapun instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kuisioner kepuasan kerja. Hasil: Hasil peneilitian ini menunjukkan karakteristik perawat di ruang rawat inap RSUD Wangaya Kota Denpasar, yaitu yang mendominasi berjenis kelamin perempuan sebesar  74,6%, dengan paling banyak dalam rentang umur antara 20-30 tahun sebesar 62,3%, perawat paling banyak berlatar belakang pendidikan DIII Keperawatan sebesar 55,4%, perawat dengan status kawin paling banyak sebesar 68,5% dan perawat  paling banyak memiliki masa kerja antara 1-5 tahun sebesar 60,1% dan sebanyak 94,6 % perawat menyatakan cukup puas bekerja di RSUD Wangaya. Kesimpulan: penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil bahwa sebagian besar perawat merasa puas dengan pekerjaannya sebagai perawat di Ruang Rawat Inap RSUD Wangaya Denpasar. Hasil penelitian ini juga menunjukkan item kuisioner “Pemberian insentif tambahan atas suatu prestasi atau kerja ekstra” paling banyak responden yang menyatakan tidak puas  yaitu 76 responden (58,5%). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disarankan agar RSUD Wangaya hendaknya tetap melaksanakan survei  kepuasan  kerja perawat, meningkatkan transparansi sistem keuangan dan  memberikan insentif yang adil sesuai kebijakan agar meningkatkan kepuasan pegawai.

Abstract

Introduction: The nurses' professional self-concept is concerned with how individuals perceive themselves as professionals and in nursing is about what nurses feel about themselves as nurses. The purpose of this study is to develop a professional self-concept model on the productivity of the nurse's work. Methods: An explanatory design with cross-sectional approach. Samples were 311 nurses in inpatient room with simple random sampling. Data analysis using Partial Least. Organizational aspects (0.4397). Results: Characteristics of the work (0.1978) and the organizational environment (0.5391) were affects the nurses' professional self-concept. The self-concept of professional nurses affects work productivity (0.4953). Conclusion: Organizational characteristics, work characteristics, and organizational environment have a relationship with professional self-concept of nurses. Furthermore, the self-concept of professional nurses has a relationship and can enhance nurse work productivity. Professional self-concept nurses form a professional identity in nurses who increase nurse productivity at work.

Abstract

Banyak negara memutuskan untuk mengalihkan Kegiatan Belajar Mengajar dengan metode pembelajaran daring untuk mencegah peningkatan penyebaran COVID-19. Akibat dari kurangnya kesiapan mahasiswa dalam melaksanakan proses pembelajaran daring dengan berbagai alasan, secara tidak langsung berdampak pada kondisi kesehatan, baik fisik maupun psikis. Masalah kesehatan mental yang sering terjadi seperti kecemasan, ketakutan, depresi dan bahkan insomnia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran masalah psikososial seperti depresi, kecemasan dan stres pada mahasiswa/i di beberapa kota yang ada di wilayah Negara Indonesia yang melaksanakan  pembelajaran daring/online pada saat pandemi COVID19. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain deskriptif kuantitatif, dengan menggunakan pendekatan penelitian secara survey online. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah stratified Random Sampling dengan jumlah sampel 400 responden berdasarkan kriteria insklusi yang ditetapkan. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan intrumen Depression Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS-21) yang sudah melalui uji validitas dan reliabilitas dengan koefisien Cronbach alpha dengan skor 0,85, 0,84, dan 0,84. Analisa data univariat menggunakan distribusi frekuensi dalam bentuk persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 157 mahasiswa (66%) dari 238 mengalami kecemasan kategori sedang, 81 mahasiswa (75%) dari 108 mengalami depresi kategori ringan dan 44 mahasiswa (81%) dari 54 mengalami stres kategori ringan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini didapatkan meningkatnya masalah psikososial khususnya kecemasan  pada mahasiswa selama pembelajaran daring.

Abstract

High-quality health care services would give good health outcomes to society. Nursing service is part of the quality-of-care process. The study aimed to investigate the quality of care in Indonesian hospitals over the last 20 years. The integrative review method was used, and 36 studies in Indonesia were analyzed, following the procedure: problem recognition, literature finding, data assessment, data review, and presentation of the results. Currently, the quality of care in Indonesia is low. The quality of care has increased over time in line with technology and science, and the factors which are related to quality have increased broader. Those factors are hospital management factors, nurse, and nursing organization the hospital management factors, including nurses staffing, environment, and job design. Nursing staffing factors are nursing shortage, workload, job satisfaction, burnout, and turnover. Meanwhile, work environment factors include supervision, empowerment, nurse-physician relationship, managerial, surveillance, and case management. Job design factors are nursing rounds, care delivery, competencies, training needs, roles, and documentation. Besides, personal factors are education, gender, ability/skills, and critical thinking. Therefore, the complicated factors related to nursing quality need further studies to explore whether they give significant results to improve quality of care.

Abstract

Deaf children face problems with independence. The attitude of independence has a very positive impact on their daily lives. This study aims to analyze the cartoon media mesatue method in the Hindu religious confidence of students with disabilities. This type of research is development. The research method of developing media uses the 4D model, including the define, design, development, and dissemination stages according to the characteristics of students with hearing impairments. The data collection used is the observation method, with the instrument aspects of student independence, interviews, and in-depth documentation. The analysis in this study uses a qualitative descriptive method that focuses on how to increase the independence of deaf students in learning Hinduism. This research was conducted with an initial evaluation before using cartoon media and a final evaluation after watching Hindu religious education. The research for the deaf category showed that the introduction of Hindu religious values by the mesatue method with cartoon media reached 72% for the elementary level, the junior high school increased by 58%, and high school by 97% with a total of 16 students. Interactive image displays can accommodate deaf students. It was concluded that the mesatue method with cartoon media could increase student independence according to the indicators formulated in the learning objectives.

Abstract

Competency test is a process to measure the knowledge level, skills and attitudes that are required for professional standards. Competency test is compulsory to be followed by all health workers as a requirement to obtain a registration certificate letters. This competency test must be followed by all final year student who have been completed their Ners education. Of course, it will lead anxiety to final student because if they do not pass the competency test, they will not get an STR and considered as incompetent. The level of anxiety is a condition that makes Ners student feel uneasy, worried, afraid, and tense when they are about to face the competency test. The level of anxiety categorized by various responses such as effective, cognitive, physiologic, and behavioural. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of anxiety in Ners student at STIKES Wira Medika regarding competency test seen by various responses. This type of study is quantitative with a total sampling of 69 students. The results of this study showed most of the respondents were experiencing mild anxiety with 55 students (79.7%), effective response mostly with mild anxiety as well as 54 students (78.3%), cognitive response mostly in mild anxiety with 69 students (87%) and physiological response with 56 students (81.2%) and the response of attitudes mostly in mild anxiety category with 64 students (92.8%). Based on the results of the study above, it is expected that the level of anxiety can be reduced by giving frequent enrichment questions.

Abstract

Burnout can develop as a result of long work stress and cause a change in attitudes and behaviors withdrawing psychologically. The most visible impact of burnout is the decline in performance and quality of service. As a result, they were unable to fulfill the work demands and finally decided not to attend, increasing rates of sick leave, reduced work effectiveness or even leaving their jobs. This study aims to determine the effect of Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) therapy on burnout in implementing nurses. The design of this study uses quasi-experimental design with control group. The sample in the study were 38 nurses, divided into 2 groups, each group consisting of 19 people selected through purposive sampling. This study used the Wilxocon Signed Rank Test to determine the differences in one pre-post group and the Mann Whitney Test to analyze changes after two different post-post groups. The results showed the value of p value in the treatment group = 0,000 which means that there was an effect of therapy (EFT) on burnout in the implementing nurses, whereas in the control group there was no difference with the p value = 0.925, the p value was influenced by EFT therapy (Emotional Freedom Technique ) towards burnout of nurse nurses before and after in groups of 0,000. It is expected that the Hospital can overcome burnout by passing EFT therapy.

Abstract

Background: Nurse team leaders encounter considerable ethical challenges that necessitate using effective strategies to overcome them. However, there is a lack of research exploring the experiences of nurse team leaders in Indonesia who face ethical dilemmas in their professional duties. Objective: This study aimed to explore nurse team leaders’ experiences regarding strategies and challenges in dealing with ethical problems in hospital settings in Indonesia. Methods: This qualitative study employed a hermeneutic phenomenology design. Online semi-structured interviews were conducted between November 2021 and February 2022 among 14 nurse team leaders selected using a snowball sampling from seven hospitals (three public and four private hospitals). Van Manen’s approach was used for data analysis. Results: The strategies for overcoming ethical dilemmas included (i) seeking the facts, (ii) stepping back, (iii) considering support, and (iv) standing by patients. The challenges for the nurse team leaders in resolving ethical problems consisted of (i) seniority, (ii) trust issue, and (iii) lack of reflection and ethics training. Conclusion: Nurse team leaders recognize their specific roles in the midst of ethical challenges and seek strategies to deal with them. However, a negative working environment might impact ethical behavior and compromise the provision of quality care. Therefore, it is imperative for hospital management to take note of these findings and address issues related to seniority by providing regular ethics training and group reflection sessions to maintain nurses' ethical knowledge in hospital practice. Such interventions can support nurse team leaders in resolving ethical dilemmas and provide a conducive environment for ethical decision-making, ultimately improving patient outcomes.

Abstract

Repositioning is all nursing activities that aim to change the posture of bedridden patients from one side to another during the hospital stay to minimize the pressure load on bony prominences and prevent pressure ulcers or injuries from developing. This is a discussion paper based on nursing and healthcare quality literature references. This paper describes the importance of repositioning practice based on the empirical study and experience as nurses and nurse managers. This perspective supports the existing literature to link repositioning practice and the quality of nursing care process indicators. Repositioning practice could be considered as an indicator of the process of care. This paper emphasizes repositioning practice as a fundamental nursing intervention and how it becomes meaningful for nursing indicators. Nurses need a standard of repositioning and its measurement at the international level.

Abstract

Usia sekolah merupakan usia penting dalam pertumbuhan dan perkembangan fisik anak. Salah satunya adalah kebiasaan menjaga kebersihan gigi dan mulut. Penduduk Bali yang mempunyai masalah gigi dan mulut tertinggi di Kota Denpasar sebesar 20,5%. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh edukasi film dengan perilaku menggosok gigi pada anak usia 6-8 tahun. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Experiment Design yaitu Pretest-Posttest with Control Group Design yang dilakukan pada 60 sampel dengan teknik Cluster Sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mengukur perilaku menggosok gigi menggunakan lembar kuesioner dan observasi perilaku menggosok gigi. Penelitian ini menggunakan uji hipotesis Wilcoxon Sign Rank dan Mann Whitney Test.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada perbedaan perilaku anak usia 6-8 tahun pada kelompok kontrol dan perlakuan. Hasil uji statistik menggunakan Wilcoxon Sign Rank dan Mann Whitney Test ada pengaruh edukasi film dengan perilaku menggosok gigi pada anak usia 6-8 tahun dengan nilai p value = 0,000 (α=0,05). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, diharapkan pihak sekolah selalu memberikan pelatihan perilaku menggosok gigi untuk meningkatkan perilaku siswa dalam menggosok gigi
