Abstract

Mojokerto-Jombang Road section is a national road that connects the main use areas in Mojokerto and has a high vehicle intensity. This damage to the road caused the decrease in quality and disturb in comfort of road users. Therefore this study aims to analyze the level of damage, provide handling, and find out the Cost Budget Plan needed for handling the damage. The calculation method used Indeks Kondisi Perkerasan Method (IKP). The primary data in this study is visual damage condition survey, while the secondary data are average daily traffic data, road technical data, CBR data, and PUPR 2022 unit prices. The results of the study are road damage Patching by approximately 41,8%, Edge Cracking around 4,3%, Potholes by approximately 8,9%, Aligator Cracking around 33,7%, Block Alligator by approximately 4,6%, Bleeding around 0,6%, Longitudinal Cracking by approximately 5,2%, Polished Aggregate around 0,5%, and Rutting by approximately 0,3% with a pavement surface condition value a 19,4% Good, 14,2% Satisfactory, 20,1% Fair, 17,2% Poor, 11,9% Very Poor, 14,9% Serious, and 2,2% Failed. On the other hand, the types of handling in this study obtained Routine Maintenance 19%, Periodic Maintenance 14%, Rehabilitation 19%, and Reconstruction/ Recycling 47%. The budget estimate plan for all repair works is about Rp. 63,562,961,000,-.

Abstract

Analysis of the use of Interactive learning media in students in the MPLB department of UPT SMK Negeri 1 Bulukumba is the ability of students to use learning media selected by teachers interactively. This study aims to determine how the use of interactive learning media in students in the MPLB department of UPT SMKN 1 Bulukumba with a qualitative research type. Therefore, to achieve the objectives of this study, the method used to collect data is by conducting observations, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that all indicators used in this study can be categorized as less than optimal in their use. The indicators in question are effective in the use of learning media because they can help students' understanding, especially by using LCDs and visual displays. The use of the media is also efficient, especially the readiness of teachers in preparing simple media before class starts. However, the media used is still less varied/diverse which is still dominated by traditional media and printed books which causes a lack of creativity in learning. Thus, this also has an impact on the lack of interactive use of learning media because the use of media is monotonous and does not utilize interactive technology. Traditional media tends to produce one-way communication, which has an impact on low active student participation. The new finding in this study is adaptability, which is also an indicator that plays a role in the use of learning media in this research locus, which is different from the theory used so that it can be used as evaluation material and new findings in the educational environment.

Abstract

Background: Hypertension is a condition or situation where a person experiences an increase in blood pressure above the normal limit, namely more than 140/90 mmHg. Blood pressure can be interpreted as the force exerted by blood circulation on the walls of the body’s arteries, namely the main blood vessels in the body. The amount of this pressure depends on the resistance of the blood vessels and how hard the heart works. The more blood the heart pumps and the narrower the arteries, the higher the blood pressure. Methods: The type of research used is descriptive in the form of a case study with a nursing process approach which includes assessment, nursing diagnosis, nursing intervention, nursing implementation, nursing evaluation and follow-up. Determining the subjects in this study used the numerical rating scale method, namely four elderly people who experienced hypertension with pain problems at the Harapan Kita Social Home in Palembang. Pain assessment uses the numerical rating scale method, namely classifying pain into mild (1-3), moderate (4-6) and severe (7-10). Results: The results showed a decrease in pain levels among patients, from moderate pain to mild pain. Conclusion: Therefore, the application of progressive muscle relaxation nursing techniques in elderly patients with hypertension can reduce their pain levels.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk mengembangkan model pemberdayaan masyarakat terpadu melalui pendekatan keluarga dalam penguatan tiga sektor utama, yaitu ekonomi, pendidikan, dan kesehatan di Desa Bitungsari, Kecamatan Ciawi, Kabupaten Bogor. Permasalahan yang ditemukan di desa ini meliputi rendahnya pendapatan keluarga, kurangnya pemahaman orang tua terhadap pentingnya pendidikan anak, serta terbatasnya kesadaran akan pola hidup bersih dan sehat. Kegiatan dilakukan secara partisipatif melalui pelatihan keterampilan ekonomi produktif rumah tangga, penyuluhan pendidikan berbasis keluarga, serta edukasi kesehatan dengan melibatkan kader dan tokoh masyarakat. Hasil pelaksanaan menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan keluarga mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan warga secara aktif dalam mengembangkan potensi ekonomi lokal, memperkuat peran keluarga dalam mendukung pendidikan, serta menumbuhkan perilaku hidup sehat dalam rumah tangga. Intervensi yang dilakukan juga mendorong terbentuknya kolaborasi antara masyarakat, aparat desa, dan lembaga pendukung lainnya. Model pemberdayaan ini dinilai efektif untuk memperkuat ketahanan sosial dan ekonomi berbasis keluarga, serta dapat dijadikan rujukan untuk pengembangan program serupa di wilayah lain dengan karakteristik masyarakat pedesaan yang sejenis.

Abstract

Etika bisnis medis menghadirkan dilema kompleks dalam praktik layanan kesehatan modern, di mana pertimbangan moral, kesejahteraan pasien, dan keberlanjutan ekonomi harus diselaraskan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan penerapan Deontological Ethical Theory, Theological Ethical Theory, dan Utilitarian Ethical Theory dalam konteks bisnis medis. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif berbasis studi literatur, analisis ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana masing-masing teori mengarahkan pengambilan keputusan etis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Deontological Ethical Theory menekankan pentingnya tanggung jawab moral dan kepatuhan terhadap prinsip etika universal seperti kejujuran, keadilan, dan penghormatan terhadap hak pasien. Meskipun memberikan landasan etis yang kuat, teori ini cenderung kaku dalam menghadapi dilema kompleks yang membutuhkan pertimbangan kontekstual. Theological Ethical Theory menekankan nilai-nilai moral yang bersumber dari ajaran agama dan spiritualitas, memberikan kekuatan etis yang kuat terutama dalam komunitas dengan keyakinan religius yang dominan. Namun, pendekatan ini dapat menghadapi kendala dalam lingkungan yang pluralistik atau sekuler. Sementara itu, Utilitarian Ethical Theory menilai tindakan berdasarkan hasil yang menghasilkan manfaat terbesar bagi jumlah orang terbanyak. Pendekatan ini dianggap lebih fleksibel dan adaptif dalam pengambilan keputusan medis, terutama dalam kebijakan publik, namun berisiko mengabaikan hak dan kepentingan individu. Oleh karena itu, integrasi ketiga teori etika tersebut penting untuk membangun kerangka etika bisnis medis yang seimbang, adil, dan responsif terhadap dinamika moral dan sosial dalam dunia medis saat ini.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the impact of Instagram on the involvement of young Catholics in parish activities, focusing on their understanding and engagement with social media. The study explores whether Instagram, as a web-based social media platform, affects the participation of young Catholics in church-related activities. A qualitative research method was employed, with data collected through surveys and interviews with young Catholics who follow the “OMK Kristus Raja” Instagram account. The research was conducted within the parish community of Kristus Raja, where the Instagram account has been actively providing updates since its inception in May 2017. The findings reveal that all respondents consider the “OMK Kristus Raja” Instagram account to be consistently updated, making it an essential source of information about youth activities. The majority of young Catholics follow the account to stay informed and engaged with parish events. Furthermore, the posts shared on the account provide new insights and encourage greater participation in church activities. The study concludes that Instagram has a positive impact on the involvement of young Catholics in parish life by enhancing their access to information and fostering a sense of community.

Abstract

Global warming is a phenomenon of increasing the average temperature of the earth's surface. Carbon can be stored in various forms in ecosystems, one of which is the concept of blue carbon. This research aims to analyze the condition of the mangrove ecosystem and the potential for carbon storage in the mangrove forest rehabilitation area in Sebele Village, Karimun Regency, Riau Islands. This research was conducted from October 2024 to July 2025 in the mangrove forest rehabilitation area of Sebele Village, Riau Islands Province. The method used in this research is the survey method. Standing biomass data was obtained using allometric equations. The research results show that the level of tree density in the mangrove forest rehabilitation area of Sebele Village is in the Sparse category. At the tree level, it is dominated by the Xylocarpus granatum species, while at the sapling level it is dominated by the Rhizophora mucronataspecies. The highest carbon storage value is found in the Avicennia marina species with a carbon storage value of 14.44 tons/ha. And the potential carbon storage from the calculation results obtained a carbon storage value of 61.43 tons/ha. The carbon storage value is directly proportional to the standing biomass. The greater the standing biomass, the greater the carbon stored.

Abstract

ABSTRAK- Komunikasi Interpersonal terjadi tatap muka secara langsung, pesan tersebut melalui saluran antar personal, terjadinya adanya persaingan ketat pada berbagai bidang menjadikan pekerjaan di dalamnya selalu menginginkan yang terbaik untuk orang lain, terutama mengenai service excellent. Dalam upaya pencapaian keberhasilan suatu perusahaan tidak hanya dipengaruhi besarnya dana, penggunaan teknologi, maupun sarana dan prasarana, yaitu faktor sumber daya manusia. Pendidikan dan pelatihan sangat penting bagi karyawan dalam mengatasi permasalahan komunikasi pada pelanggan seperti pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan sikap, sehingga tidak adanya kesenjangan antara karyawan satu dengan karyawan lainnya begitu pula pada pelanggan untuk menghindari ada terjadinya masalah atau komplain. Penelitian ini memiliki 2 (dua) tujuan adalah untuk mengetahui komunikasi interpersonal karyawan dalam memberikan service excellent di PT Zoom & Watch Bintaro dan untuk mengetahui cara mengatasi hambatan yang terjadi dalam service excellent kepada pelanggan PT Zoom & Watch Bintaro. Teknik dalam mengumpulkan data melalui pendataan dilakukan secara langsung dan pengumpulan data dilakukan secara tertulis. Karyawan berkomunikasi dengan pelanggan dapat berbagai cara, tetapi secara umum komunikasi pada dua arah antara perusahaan dengan pelanggan dapat dengan tatap muka langsung atau face to face, melalui telepon, dan lewat surat/email/fax/tertulis. Cara mengatasinya karyawan harus bisa menjelaskan informasi sesuai dengan pertanyaan si pelanggan, melakukan verifikasi dengan permasalahan yang dikeluhkan dan umpan balik yang tepat terhadap pelanggan dan sebaiknya perusahaan melakukan pelatihan khusus mengenai pelatihan bahasa asing dasar secara berkala untuk karyawan, agar mengoptimalkan kinerja karyawan dalam berbicara bahasa asing. Kata-kata Kunci: Komunikasi Interpersonal, Service Excellent, Karyawan, dan Pelanggan.  ABSTRACT- Interpersonal communication takes place in face-to-face contact, where messages flow through interpersonal channels. Very tight competition in various fields of work makes the work involved in it want to provide the best for others, especially with the problem of providing excellent service. The success of a company is certainly not only determined by the amount of funds owned, the technology used, or the facilities and infrastructure, but the most important thing is the human resource factor. Education and training are very important for employees in overcoming communication problems with customers such as knowledge, skills and attitudes, so that there is no gap between one employee and another employee as well as the customer to avoid any problems or complaints. This study has 2 (two) objectives to find out employee interpersonal communication in providing excellent service at PT Zoom & Watch Bintaro and to find out how to overcome obstacles that occur in excellent service to customers of PT Zoom & Watch Bintaro. The technique in collecting data through data collection is done directly and data collection is done in writing. Employees communicate with customers in many ways, but in general two-way communication between the company and its customers can be classified as: direct contact or face to face, by telephone, and by letter / email / fax / written. How to overcome them employees must be able to explain information in accordance with the customer's questions, verify with the complaints and complaints appropriate to the customer and the company should conduct special training on basic foreign language training on a regular basis for employees, in order to optimize employee performance in speaking a foreign language. Keywords: Interpersonal Communication, Excellent Service, Employees, and Customers

Abstract

Coastal areas are border areas between land and sea areas. One of the phenomena that occurs in coastal areas is abrasion and sedimentation. Sedimentation results in the formation of raised soil in areas near the estuary. This research aims to identify the formation of emergent soil through continuous observation of Google Earth satellite images. The research was conducted at the mouth of the Ciwulan River, Karangnunggal District, Tasikmalaya Regency, West Java. The research was carried out in April – June 2023. The method used in this research was a comparison of each satellite each year. Based on observations of satellite imagery from year to year, it is observed that the volume of water in the Ciwulan River has increased, causing the area of emerging land to start to decrease from year to year in 2019, 2020, and 2021. The decrease in emerging land is due to abrasion at the mouth of the river, so the emerging land has disappeared because it was submerged by the high volume of river water.

Abstract

Exploring the decision-making abilities of undergraduate students, including students from vocational education backgrounds, is the main priority in the achievement of mathematics learning in general and in Calculus courses particularly. Decision-making processes require cognitive guidance through activities describing in detail the systematic steps of each process. It is implicitly said as part of a cognitive apprenticeship procedure. There are claims that students with a vocational education background can develop their academic and practical potential more through a cognitive apprenticeship model. In addition, using video as visual media learning allows students to sharpen their skills. Therefore, the study aims to explore the distinction in achievement and improvement of mathematical decision-making skills between undergraduate students who learn with a Video-assisted Cognitive Apprenticeship approach (CAV), and they are who receive Cognitive Apprenticeship learning (CA) with conventional learning. A quantitative study with the Static-Group Pretest-Posttest Design was employed as a methodology in the research. Based on the research stage, there are differences in achievement and improvement of student decision-making skills with a review of the type of vocational school between undergraduate students.
