Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of education on the dangers of bullying using audiovisual methods on adolescents’ knowledge and attitudes, considering that bullying is a serious psychosocial problem in schools which can cause long-term negative impacts such as trauma, decreased self-confidence, and reduced academic performance, and thus requires effective health education strategies to increase awareness and preventive attitudes. This study applied a Quasi-Experimental design with a pretest–posttest control group and involved 60 respondents selected through total sampling, divided into 30 adolescents in the intervention group and 30 in the control group. The intervention group received structured audiovisual-based education that presented material on the definition, types, impacts, and prevention strategies of bullying, while the control group did not receive any intervention. Data were collected using questionnaires on knowledge and attitudes and analyzed with the Wilcoxon test at a significance level of α = 0.05. The results showed that there was a significant increase in the knowledge and attitudes of the intervention group after receiving audiovisual education (Asymp. Sig = 0.000 < α = 0.05), whereas the control group did not experience significant changes due to the absence of intervention. These findings demonstrate that audiovisual education is more effective compared to conventional approaches because it combines visual and auditory stimulation, making learning materials easier to understand and remember, as well as more engaging for adolescents. In conclusion, audiovisual-based education is proven effective in improving adolescents’ knowledge and attitudes regarding the dangers of bullying, and its application should be considered as part of school-based health promotion programs, while future research can further explore its long-term effectiveness and the potential benefits of combining audiovisual methods with peer support and parental involvement in bullying prevention.

Abstract

Permasalahan remaja berkaitan dengan Kesehatan reproduksi dari pemahaman mengenai perlunya pemeliharaan kebersihan alat reproduksi, proses reproduksi, serta dampak perilaku yang tidak bertanggungjawab. Pada beberapa daerah khususnya di Pesantren banyak remaja yang tidak mendapatkan informasi tentang seksualitas dan kesehatan reproduksi secara cukup dan benar. Sehingga, diperlukan terobosan baru sebagai langkah untuk memudahkan remaja mendapatkan informasi tentang kesehatan reproduksi dengan menggunakan buku saku.  Tujuan penelitian: Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh promosi kesehatan dengan media buku saku terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap remaja di pondok pesantren. Metode: Rancangan penelitian pre-experimental dengan pendekatan one-group pre-post test design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah remaja awal dengan jumlah sampel 20 partisipan. Analisis data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil: Didapatkan pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan terhadap pengetahuan dengan p-value 0,000 <0,05. Simpulan: Ada pengaruh promosi kesehatan dengan media buku saku terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap remaja

Abstract

Citra tubuh yang negatif dapat memicu munculnya gangguan psikologis pada remaja. Remaja yang memiliki gangguan citra tubuh banyak terjadi pada remaja putri. Dalam hal ini remaja putri membutuhkan dukungan kelompok teman sebaya sebagai support terbaik dari segi emosi maupun sosial yang diberikan hingga menjadi individu dengan kepribadian lebih baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh peer group education terhadap citra tubuh (body image) pada remaja santri putri di Pondok Pesantren Nurul Jadid. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimental dengan quasy eksperimen. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 131 remaja santri putri dengan menggunakan teknik  non probability purpose sampling. Analisa data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon diperoleh hasil persepsi citra tubuh sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan peer group education sebesar 0.000<0.05, artinya ho ditolak dan ha diterima. Saran untuk penelitian ini Mengembangkan dan memperluas jangkauan santri-santri untuk menjadi pelaku peer educator di seluruh pondok pesantren. Peer Educator sangat efektif digunakan dalam kegiatan penyuluhan kesehatan karena dukungan dari teman sebaya lebih bisa dipahami oleh sebayanya    Kata kunci: Kelompok Teman Sebaya, Citra Tubuh, Remaja Santri Putri

Abstract

Vaginal discharge is one of the most common reproductive health problems experienced by adolescent girls, often causing discomfort, reducing self-confidence, and potentially leading to more serious reproductive health issues if not properly managed. Limited knowledge and negative attitudes toward genital hygiene are among the contributing factors to its high prevalence. Health education using audiovisual media is considered an effective strategy for delivering health messages, as it combines visual and auditory elements that are more engaging, easier to understand, and capable of improving information retention. This study aims to analyze the effect of audiovisual-based health education on adolescent girls’ knowledge and attitudes regarding the prevention of vaginal discharge. A quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group was applied, involving 60 students equally divided into intervention and control groups selected through total sampling. The research instrument consisted of validated and reliable questionnaires measuring knowledge and attitudes. Data analysis was conducted using the Wilcoxon test, revealing a significant improvement in the intervention group after receiving audiovisual health education (p < 0.05), while no meaningful change occurred in the control group. These findings indicate that audiovisual health education is effective in enhancing adolescents’ understanding and fostering positive attitudes toward the prevention of vaginal discharge. Consequently, the approach is recommended for integration into school health programs and community-based interventions as an innovative and sustainable method to promote reproductive health among adolescents.

Abstract

Online games are internet-based games that allow multiple players to play simultaneously through online networks. These games have a strong appeal that often makes adolescents more interested in playing than studying, while also carrying the risk of addiction. This study aimed to analyze the effect of health education about the dangers of online games on adolescents’ knowledge and attitudes. The research applied a Quasi-Experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group. The sampling technique was total sampling involving 50 respondents, consisting of 25 in the intervention group and 25 in the control group. Data were analyzed using a Paired T-Test. The results revealed a significant difference in the intervention group (p=0.001 < 0.05) after receiving education, while no difference was observed in the control group. It can be concluded that health education using audiovisual media is effective in improving adolescents’ knowledge and attitudes regarding the dangers of online games.

Abstract

Introduction: Increased public awareness of health, will lead to demands for improved health services. One effort to anticipate this situation is to maintain the quality of service, the increasing demands of the community for the quality of health services, so the service function needs to be improved to provide patient satisfaction. The aim of the study was to compare the perceptions of service with the satisfaction of inpatients in the Puskesmas with the status of Basic Accreditation and Middle Accreditation of Bondowoso District. Method: The research design used quantitative research with cross sectional approach with a total sample of 42 people with accidental sampling techniques. Then analyzed by One Way Anova statistical test. Result: The statistical test results were obtained for perceptions of services between basic accreditation health centers and mid-level accreditation health centers with p value = 0.001 (p <0.05), patient satisfaction between primary accreditation health centers and middle accreditation health centers with p value = 0,000 (p <0.05). Conclusion: It was concluded that there was a significant difference in perceptions of service and patient satisfaction with perceptions of service with patient satisfaction in public health centers mid-term accreditation was better than basic accreditation puskesmas. Pendahuluan: meningkatnya kesadaran masyarakat tentang kesehatan, akan mengakibatkan tuntutan peningkatan pelayanan kesehatan. Salah satu upaya mengantisipasi keadaan tersebut dengan menjaga kualitas pelayanan, semakin meningkatnya tuntutan masyarakat akan kualitas pelayanan kesehatan, maka fungsi pelayanan secara perlu ditingkatkan untuk memberi kepuasan pasien. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui perbedaan persepsi pelayanan dengan kepuasan pasien rawat inap di Puskesmas berstatus Akreditasi Dasar dan Akreditasi Madya Kabupaten Bondowoso. Metode: desain penelitian penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. sampel sebanyak 42 orang dengan teknik sampling aksidental. uji statistik One Way Anova. Hasil: uji statistik diperoleh untuk perbedaan pelayanan antara puskesmas akreditasi dasar dan puskesmas akreditasi madya dengan p value = 0,001 (p<0,05), kepuasan pasien antara puskesmas akreditasi dasar dan puskesmas akreditasi madya dengan p value = 0,000 (p<0,05). Kesimpulan: bahwa ada terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan persepsi pelayanan dan kepuasan pasien dengan persepsi pelayanan dengan kepuasan pasien di puskesmas akreditasi madya lebih baik daripada puskesmas akreditasi dasar.

Abstract

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) remains a major public health challenge in Indonesia, particularly in densely populated environments such as Islamic boarding schools (pesantren). Crowded dormitories, shared sanitation facilities, and numerous water containers create favorable conditions for mosquito breeding, resulting in recurrent dengue cases and low larva-free indices in several pesantren in East Java. This community-based program was implemented to strengthen dengue prevention through the integration of structured health education, simple ovitrap technology, and a digital larva-monitoring website as a digital engagement model for Santri Jumantik. The program employed a pre-experimental one-group pretest–posttest design conducted over three months (September–November 2025) at a pesantren in Probolinggo, involving 30 students. Interventions included dengue and PHBS education, hands-on training in constructing low-cost ovitraps from recycled materials, and weekly larval surveillance reported through a web-based monitoring system. Data were collected using knowledge questionnaires, ovitrap observations, larva-free index (ABJ) measurements, and website activity logs, and analyzed descriptively and using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test.The results demonstrated a significant improvement in students’ knowledge (Z = –3.996; p < 0.001), with high-level knowledge increasing from 26.7% to 86.7%. Ecological indicators also improved, as the ABJ increased from 72% to 80% and ovitrap positivity declined over time. Digital reporting compliance reached 92%, indicating strong student engagement. This integrated approach effectively strengthened dengue prevention practices and offers a scalable model for transforming pesantren into healthier learning environments.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the quality of service of school principals and self-concept on the emotional regulation of preschool teachers. The research method uses a quantitative approach with a relational survey model. The research instruments included ServQual, Social Cognitive Theory, and Emotion Regulation Theory, with data from 100 teachers analyzed using SmartPLS. The results showed that the quality of the principal's services (tangibles, responsiveness, assurance, empathy) and teachers' self-concept (physical, social, academic, spiritual aspects) had a significant effect on the regulation of emotions (t-statistic > 1.96; p < 0.06). An R-square value of 0.736 indicates that the independent variable explains 73.6% of the variance in emotion regulation. The validity and reliability test showed that all indicators met the criteria (>0.5). These findings underscore the importance of principal leadership and positive self-concept in supporting teachers' emotional stability. This study provides strategic recommendations for education managers to improve teachers' professionalism and emotional well-being.
