Abstract

Infectious diseases are still an important public health problem, especially in developing countries. One of the mainstay drugs to overcome this problem is antibiotics. Bacterial resistance to antibiotics continues to increase throughout the world, including Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to determine the average use of antibiotic eye drops for the period January to March 2021 at the Community Eye Health Center January to March 2021. The method in this research is a descriptive survey. The population in this study were all prescription data from January to March at the Community Eye Health Center. Results In January to March 2021 the average number of uses of the antibiotic Levofloxacin was 39.6. Polynel is 35. Bralifex is 34.

Abstract

Instant powder beverages are beverages made from either fresh or dried ingredients that are boiled for more or less than 60 minutes, then sugar or no sugar is added and the water is evaporated until sugar crystals or powder are obtained. Fruits and vegetables from mango, watermelon, cucumber, carrots and broccoli have many health benefits as natural antioxidants. This study aims to determine the instant powder with the highest antioxidant activity from a mixture of fruits and vegetables or a mixture of ginger, temulawak, turmeric and lemongrass. This study was conducted experimentally by examining each instant powder preparation from a mixture of fruits and vegetables on antioxidant activity using the DPPH (1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl) method and UV-Vis spectrophotometer. The results showed that the instant powder drink from a mixture of fruits and vegetables had antioxidant activity with an IC50 value of 100.341. These results indicate that instant powder from a mixture of fruits and vegetables has strong antioxidant potential.

Abstract

Kepok banana flower (Musa acuminate x M. balbisiana) is known to contain flavonoid, polyvenol and saponin compounds that function as antioxidants. The purpose of this study was to determine the antioxidant activity and to determine the IC50 value of lotion of kepok banana flower (Musa acuminate x M. balbisiana) as an antioxidant. Antioxidant activity testing of lotion of kepok banana flower (Musa acuminate x M. balbisiana). Ethanol extract of pisang bunga kapok was obtained by extraction using maceration method with 96% ethanol for 3x24 hours. Then the extract was formulated into lotion preparations with variations of banana flower extract, namely 0.4%, 0.6%, and 0.8%. The results of the preparation of pisang kepok flower (Musa acuminate x M. balbisiana) with various concentrations of extracts meet the requirements of a good lotion preparation. Furthermore, it was tested using the DPPH (1,1-diphenyl-2-picryilhydrazyl) method with vitamin C comparator measured at a wavelength of 516.20 nm. The results of the lotion test of ethanol extract of kepok banana flower have antioxidant activity with IC50 values at FI 0.4% (33.83µg/ml), FII 0.6% (27.85µg/ml), FIII 0.8% (10.04µg/ml). Based on the IC50 data, it can be seen that FIII with a concentration of 0.8% has a very strong antioxidant value compared to FI and FII lotions. Translated with DeepL.com (free version)

Abstract

Urena lobata L. are known contains secondary metabolites of alkaloids, terpenoids, phenols, flavonoids, saponins and tannins and have very strong antioxidant activity. This causes the ethanolic extract of Urena lobata L. flowers have the ability to ward off free radicals and UV radiation. This research aims was to find out whether the ethanolic extract of urena lobata L. flowers has Sun Protection Factor (SPF) activity and how much value it has. Determination of the SPF value was carried out by measuring the absorbance of the ethanolic extract of Urena lobata L. flowers with concentration of 4000 ppm using UV-Vis Spectrophotometry at 290-320 nm wavelength. The results showed that the ethanolic extract of Urena lobata L. flowers has SPF activity. The average SPF value obtained was 2.43, which is included in the weak category.

Abstract

Free radicals are ultraviolet rays that cause damage to the skin. Therefore, antioxidants are needed to prevent the dangers of free radicals in the body while repairing damaged body cells. One of the plants that contain compounds that have potential as antioxidants is nipah leaves. Previous research states that Nipah leaves have antioxidant activity with an IC50 value of 9.662 ppm with a very strong category, so this study aims to determine the antioxidant activity of the ethanol fraction, ethyl acetate fraction and n-hexane fraction, and determine which fraction can provide the strongest antioxidant activity value. The methods used in this study include preparation of simplisia, preparation of nipah leaf fractions, phytochemical screening of fractions, antioxidant activity test of nipah leaf fractions using DPPH method.

Abstract

Pendidikan Islam memiliki peran sentral dalam membentuk individu yang tidak hanya memahami agama, tetapi juga memiliki akhlak dan kepribadian yang sesuai dengan ajaran Islam. Manajemen sumber daya manusia (SDM) di lembaga-lembaga pendidikan Islam memiliki tantangan kompleks, baik dari segi eksternal maupun internal. Artikel ini menyelidiki berbagai aspek manajemen SDM dalam konteks pendidikan Islam, mulai dari konsep dasar, proses pengembangan, strategi hingga tantangan-tantangan yang mungkin dihadapi. Metode kajian menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kepustakaan, dengan analisis data dilakukan secara kualitatif. Hasil kajian memperlihatkan bahwa pengembangan SDM di lembaga pendidikan Islam memerlukan proses perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pengarahan, dan pengawasan yang berkelanjutan. Strategi manajemen yang holistik, meliputi rekrutmen, pengembangan karyawan, kepemimpinan, manajemen kinerja, teknologi, dan kolaborasi, menjadi kunci keberhasilan. Tantangan-tantangan eksternal seperti perkembangan teknologi, perubahan demografi, dinamika sosial budaya, faktor ekonomi, serta perubahan hukum dan politik, mempengaruhi pengelolaan SDM. Respons cepat dan manajemen internal yang efektif diperlukan untuk menjaga agar lembaga pendidikan Islam tetap relevan dan berkualitas. Manajemen SDM yang baik akan mendukung pencapaian tujuan lembaga pendidikan Islam dalam membentuk individu yang sesuai dengan nilai-nilai Islam.

Abstract

English for daily conversation is one of the general subjects thought at UIN Mahmud Yunus Batusangar for all majors except English education major. The purpose of this subject is to improve students’ English skills, especially in speaking—daily life speaking. Speaking is a difficult skill because, through speaking, the speaker produces a language, not only by exchanging information and ideas but also emotion. Many problems faced by students in speaking English, and factors caused difficulties in speaking. This study was conducted to find out the speaking difficulties faced by non-English students in English for the Daily Conversation subject. It was classified as a descriptive-qualitative approach. The data of this research was the interview result of the students’ speaking difficulties. The sources of data for this research are the third-semester students of The Islamic Educational Management in 2023- 2024 academic year with the lowest ten final marks. There were some difficulties faced by non-English students in speaking at English for Daily Conversation class; they are linguistics and non-linguistics problems. In terms of linguistic difficulties, students have a lack of vocabulary, poor pronunciation, a lack of grammar mastery, and poor speaking fluency. In terms of non-linguistic difficulties, the students have lack of confidence, anxiety, shyness, lack of motivation, and fear to make a mistake. There were many factors that caused their difficulties in speaking. In conclusion, the non-English students in the Islamic Educational Management class faced some difficulties in speaking that were caused by many factors.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor kesulitan belajar berhitung matematika siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Informan dalam penenlitian ini adalah guru kelas 1 SD, Jumlah siswa yaitu 18 orang, teknik yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Instrumen dalam penelitian yaitu peneliti sendiri, namun dalam pelaksanaannya peneliti menggunakan alat bantu berupa kamera, wawancara dan catatan lapangan. Penenliti melalukan pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi.  Aktivitas dalam analisis data menggunakan model miles dan huberman yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data. Display data, dan kesimpulan. Untuk menjamin keabsahan data peneliti menggunakan teknik tringualasi. Hasil penelitian adalah  SIswa kesulitan belajar berhitung dalam penambahan dan pengurangan.

Abstract

This study was motivated by teacher difficulty teaching mathematics in elementary schools. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to identify the obstacles that elementary school teachers experience when teaching mathematics. This study uses a qualitative approach, with case study research selected utilizing a purposive sample technique. The research subject was a fifth-grade teacher at SD Negeri 20 Paninjauan. The researcher serves as the research tool. In this study, data was collected through interviews and documentation. The data and information collected are then examined using the Miles and Huberman model. The findings of this study indicate that teachers face a number of challenges when teaching mathematics, including 1) students' limited ability to grasp basic mathematical concepts; 2) low student interest in learning mathematics; 3) low mastery of mathematical formulas; and 4) student anxiety about mathematics learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara komparatif strategi, implementasi, dan tantangan Perencanaan Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) di lingkungan sekolah (di bawah Kemendikbudristek) dan madrasah (di bawah Kemenag). Perencanaan SDM sebagai fungsi strategis menentukan ketersediaan tenaga kependidikan yang berkualitas dan tepat sasaran. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur sistematis dengan menganalisis dan mensintesis 15 sumber primer berupa buku dan artikel jurnal terakreditasi SINTA 2 dan 3. Temuan penelitian mengungkap bahwa meskipun berbagi tujuan akhir yang sama, yaitu peningkatan mutu pendidikan, konteks operasional dan strategis perencanaan SDM di kedua lembaga memiliki perbedaan mendasar. Sekolah umumnya mengimplementasikan perencanaan SDM yang lebih terstruktur, terukur, dan terintegrasi dengan sistem data pokok pendidikan (Dapodik) yang terpusat. Sementara itu, madrasah beroperasi dalam konteks yang lebih kompleks akibat dualisme kebijakan (Kemenag dan Kemendikbudristek), keterbatasan anggaran yang lebih akut, serta keharusan untuk mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai Aswaja (Ahlussunnah Wal Jama'ah) atau keislaman secara spesifik ke dalam kerangka perencanaannya. Tantangan utama sekolah terletak pada birokrasi yang kaku dan kesenjangan kualitas antar-wilayah, sedangkan madrasah menghadapi tantangan ganda berupa stigma masyarakat dan tuntutan kompetensi ganda (umum dan keagamaan) bagi gurunya. Artikel ini menyimpulkan bahwa pendekatan kontekstual, peningkatan sinergi antar-kementerian, pemberian otonomi yang lebih besar di tingkat satuan pendidikan, serta penguatan sistem informasi manajemen berbasis data yang akurat merupakan langkah-langkah krusial untuk mematangkan perencanaan SDM di kedua sektor pendidikan nasional ini.
