Abstract

This study aims to explore the psychosocial experiences and socio-cultural influences related to early menarche among elementary school girls (grades 4–6) in Central Lombok Regency. Employing a qualitative approach with a focused ethnographic-phenomenological design, the main participants were students who experienced early menarche, supported by key informants (mothers, teachers, peers, community leaders) selected through purposive and snowball sampling. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, FGDs, and document analysis, and analysed thematically. Data credibility was ensured through triangulation, member checking, prolonged engagement, thick description, audit trails, and reflexivity. Findings indicate that early menarche can trigger confusion, fear, and potential trauma due to a mismatch between physical changes and emotional-cognitive readiness, compounded by lack of understanding. Negative associations with blood, pain, and perceived otherness intensify psychological distress. Girls may experience shame, anxiety, low self-esteem, and challenges in hygiene management. From a psychoanalytic lens, reactions include irrational fears and internalised stigma. Socially, early-maturing girls are vulnerable to isolation and bullying, exacerbated by peer misunderstanding and cultural taboos. Limited family support and silence around menstruation further heighten psychological burdens. The study highlights the need for comprehensive early puberty education for children, parents, and schools. Creating supportive, inclusive environments, destigmatising menstruation, and offering accessible psychological support are essential to help students adapt positively to pubertal changes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pertama apakah pengaruh media pop up book  terhadap pretasi belajar siswa kelas III mata pelajaran IPS di SDN 1 Mangkung. Kedua bagaimana pengaruh media pop up book  terhadap pretasi belajar siswa kelas III mata pelajaran IPS di SDN 1 Mangkung. Penelitian ini meryupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan quasi eksperimen grup design eksperimen control. dengan jumlah sampel masing 20 siswa dengan populasi 28 siswa di setiap kelas. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 4 kali pertemuan, instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan 4 instrumen yaitu  observasi, angket, tes, dan dokumentasi. Data diperoleh lalu dianalisis dengan analisis deskiptif statistic lalu kemudian analisis uji-t menggunakan model paired simple test dengan kriteria sig <0.05. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, pertama hasil analisis pengaruh media pop up book terhadap prestasi belajar siswa menggunakan uji paired simple t test dalam aplikasi SPSS versi 26 maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima yang berarti terdapat pengaruh media pop up book terhadap prestasi belajar siswa terhadap prestasi belajar siswa kelas III di SDN 1 Mangkung. Kedua untuk mengetahu bagaimana minat belajar siswa dapat dilihat dari peningkatan hasil belajar IPS karena 1) media pop up book dapat membangkitkan minat belajar siswa, 2) media pop up book dapat mempermudah siswa memguasai pembelajran, 3) media pop up book membuat pembelajaran lebih bermakna.

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research that aims to increase interest and learning outcomes of social studies through the application of a GQGA-type cooperative learning model in grade V students of SD Inpres Mattontongdare, West Bajeng District, Gowa Regency. The subject of this study is a grade V student of SD Inpres Mattontongdare in West Bajeng District, Gowa Regency with a total of 28 students, consisting of 14 male students and 14 female students. This research was carried out in two cycles, namely cycle I which was carried out 3 meetings (the first and second meetings for the learning process and the third meeting for the assessment of science and science learning outcomes) and cycle II was also carried out 3 meetings. The two cycles were carried out for 2 months plus summarizing all existing research results. The results of the study show that the application of the GQGA-type cooperative learning model has succeeded in significantly increasing students' interest in learning. In the first cycle, students' interest in learning was recorded to only reach 67%, but after the application of this model in the second cycle, students' interest in learning increased rapidly to 88%. This shows that the GQGA-type cooperative learning model is effective in arousing students' enthusiasm and involvement in the learning process, thereby increasing their motivation to learn better. The GQGA-type cooperative learning model has also proven to be very effective in improving student learning outcomes in science and science subjects. In the first cycle, only 61% of students achieved completeness, while 39% did not achieve completeness. However, in the second cycle, the number of students who did not complete dropped dramatically to only 7%, and the number of students who completed increased to 93%. This shows that the application of the GQGA-type cooperative learning model can help students understand the material better and achieve optimal results in social science learning.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat bagaimana implikasi psikologis pada pola asuh grandparenting terhadap perkembangan anak. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kabupaten Lombok Tengah, metode penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif studi kasus. Pola asuh grandparenting merupakan pengasuhan anak yang dilakukan oleh kakek dan nenek. Dari hasil penelitian bahwa pola asuh yang dilakukan oleh kakek/nenek (grandparenting) berdapak pada Pola pengasuhan grandparenting menimbulkan beberapa permasalahan pada anak yakni: 1) anak merasa kurang dicintai, 2) tanda kelemahan pada orang tua, 3) anak dapat berontak apabila tidak merasa terpenuhi kebutuhannya, 4) tidak peduli dan selalu melawan, 5) susah diajak bekerjasama dan dikontrol, 6) orang tua tidak berdaya, 7) anak kurang percaya diri, dan 8) prestasi kurang baik. Tidak hanya itu Akibat dari pola asuh seperti ini berakibat pada tumbuhnya perilaku menyimpang ketika kebutuhan remaja kurang terpenuhi, seperti: sering diacuhkan oleh keluarga semasa kecilnya, selain itu adapun dampak psikologis anak dalam penelitian ini didasarkan gejala dari gangguan tersebut berdasarkan pada beberapa hal yaitu pengulangan peristiwa traumatik, penghindaran, serta simptom-simptom yang menetap dampak psikologis yang dapat dialami oleh anak antara lain negatif, agresif serta mudah frustrasi; pasif dan apatis; tidak mempunyai kepribadian sendiri dan tidak patuh kepada orang tua; tidak mampu menghargai dirinya sendiri; sulit menjalin relasi dengan individu lain; sampai timbul rasa benci yang luar biasa terhadap dirinya sendiri.

Abstract

Contextual learning media allows students to make a correlation between knowledge and their daily activities. This media has numerous benefits. However, it has not been developed by MA Banin and Banat Pondok Pesantren Thohir Yasin Lombok Timur. This study was aimed to develop a contextual learning media based on the research of correlation between osteoarthritis, dhuha prayer, and sunbathing. The research and development used 4-D model modified into 3-D, which is define, design, and develop. Research of osteoarthritis was conducted as part of define stage while poster design, validation, and product application were in the next two stages. Resulted poster have been categorized as an excellent poster and achieved positive responses from teachers and students. Learning results of students increase significantly after using the poster as a contextual learning media. This study has succeeded to develop contextual learning media with tremendous responses, and it has positive impacts on the learning results of students. Abstrak. Media pembelajaran kontekstual memilki kelebihan dalam membantu siswa menghubungkan pengetahuan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. Pengembangan media kontekstual belum dilakukan dengan optimal di MA Banin dan Banat Pondok Pesantren Thohir Yasin Lombok Timur. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan media ajar kontekstual berupa poster ilmiah berbasis riset pengaruh salat dhuha dan berjemur terhadap penurunan derajat osteoarthritis masyarakat di Desa Lendang Nangka. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah 4-D yang dimodifikasi menjadi 3-D, terdiri atas tahap define, design, dan develop. Riset osteoarthritis dilakukan pada tahap define, sedangkan desain poster, validasi, dan uji coba dilakukan pada tahap design dan develop. Poster yang dibuat dikategorikan layak oleh validator dan mendapatkan respon yang sangat baik dari pendidik dan peserta didik. Rata-rata hasil belajar siswa meningkat signifikan dengan N-gain score sebesar 0.40 dan 0.48 yang berada berada pada kategori peningkatan sedang. Media ajar kontekstual berbasis riset osteoarthritis berhasil dikembangkan dan mendapatkan respon sangat baik dari pendidik dan peserta didik. Media ajar ini mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa secara signifikan.

Abstract

Pembelajaran yang digunakan pada masa pandemi Covid-19 ini adalah pembelajaran daring. Pembelajaran daring merupakan pemanfaatan jaringan internet dalam proses pembelajaran. Dengan pembelajaran daring, siswa memiliki keleluasaan waktu belajar, dapat belajar kapanpun dan dimanapun. Adapun solusi pembelajaran yang ditawarkan pada masa pandemi Covid-19 di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nurul Iman Ujan Rintis adalah pembelajaran daring. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: Untuk mengetahui sejauhmana implementasi pembelajaran daring pada mata pelajaran IPA di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nurul Iman Ujan Rintis, untuk mengetahui apakah pembelajaran daring pada mata pelajaran IPA di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nurul Iman Ujan Rintis bisa dilakukan dengan baik dan efektif, dan untuk mengetahui bagaimana dampak pembelajaran daring IPA di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nurul Iman Ujan Rintis. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif. Tahapan penelitian yang digunakan: Reduksi data, display data, dan penrikan dan verifikasi kesimpulan. Dari hasil pengumpulan data melalui penyebaran google form, akses internet, dan wawancara via telpon dengan siswa kelas V MI Nurul Iman menyatakan 21% setuju dengan penerapan pembelajaran daring, 65% Tidak setuju dengan penerapan pembelajaran daring, dan 14% menyatakan ragu dengan pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring. Penerapan pembelajaran daring dirasakan kurang efektif, peserta didik mengalami kesulitan memahami materi melalui pembelajaran daring, ini disebabkan karena sulitnya interaksi secara langsung antara guru dan peserta didik, peserta didik cepat merasa bosan, sumber daya manusia yang belum siap terhadap pembelajaran daring, dan ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana yang kurang memadai.

Abstract

Kesulitan belajar matematika siswa diketahui dari nilai siswa yang masih dibawah rata-rata, siswa tidak dapat menyelesaikan tugas dengan tepat waktu, masih kesulitan menyelesaikan dalam menjawab soal sehingga menunjukkan bahwa siswa belum menguasai materi yang diberikan oleh guru. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan kesulitan belajar matematika siswa kelas IV di sekolah X serta peran guru dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar matematika siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, subjek pada penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa sedangkan objek pada penelitian ini adalah peran guru dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar matematika. Tehnik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Langkah-langkah analisis data yang digunakan meliputi reduksi data, display data, dan conclusion drawing. Kesulitan belajar matematika siswa kelas IV SD di sekolah X disebabkan karena siswa memiliki karakter yang berbeda-beda diantaranya adalah kesulitan memahami simbol matematika, kesulitan dalam perhitungan dan kesulitan memahami maksud soal. Peran guru dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar matematika siswa Guru sebagai fasilitator, pengelola, motivator, dan evaluator.

Abstract

Cayenne pepper is one of the basic commodities and has high economic value. Chili contains capsaicin which gives spicy taste that suitable in various Indonesian food. The high demand of chilies means that this commodity often experiences high selling prices at certain times, especially during the rainy season. The demand that continues to be needed by the community creates great opportunity for chili farmers to continue providing chili on the market. As a plant that can grow well in tropical areas, including Indonesia, chili plants can grow well outside the rainy season. On the other hand, the vertisol soil type, which expands and contracts, requires strong chili plant roots. The rainy season causes plant roots to rot quickly due to waterlogged conditions and plants are easily attacked by pests and diseases. In anticipating failed chili harvest, farmers need planting strategy and selecting quality chili seeds, they can adapt to various environmental conditions. This research was carried out in Sukadana Village using Randomized Block Design field trial method by planting three varieties of chili to find out which variety is most adaptive to waterlogging conditions. The results of the research show that lokal varieties of chili are the most adaptive and resistant to waterlogging conditions.

Abstract

Mastery of critical thinking skills is one of the primary demands of 21st-century education, including in science subjects, which emphasize scientific processes and evidence-based problem solving. However, classroom practices in schools often remain focused on rote memorization of concepts, limiting students' opportunities to develop higher-order thinking skills. This article aims to theoretically examine the relationship between collaborative learning models and the development of critical thinking skills within the context of science education. The review was conducted through a literature analysis of various relevant studies and theoretical frameworks. The analysis reveals that collaborative learning—which emphasizes social interaction, idea exchange, and the collective construction of knowledge—significantly contributes to the development of students’ critical thinking abilities. Models such as Problem-Based Learning, Discovery Learning, Guided Inquiry, and Jigsaw have been shown to encourage students to pose questions, construct arguments, evaluate information, and draw logical conclusions. The integration of additional strategies, such as the use of mind mapping and digital technologies, further enhances the effectiveness of collaboration in improving the quality of science learning. Therefore, collaborative learning can be positioned as a strategic pedagogical approach for enhancing students’ critical thinking skills. This article recommends the systematic implementation of collaborative models in science education, supported by technology integration and strengthened teacher competencies, in order to foster a generation that is critical, reflective, and adaptive to the challenges of the 21st century.

Abstract

Pendidikan seksual yang minim pada tingkat sekolah dasar meningkatkan kerentanan anak terhadap pelecehan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan memberikan edukasi batasan diri (self-boundaries) kepada siswa SDN 1 Sengkerang guna meminimalisir risiko perlakuan negatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah sosialisasi interaktif berbasis teori psikoseksual Sigmund Freud, yang difokuskan pada fase laten (usia 6–12 tahun) di mana energi psikis anak dialihkan pada pengembangan sosial dan moral. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan perubahan konkret pada pemahaman siswa; mereka kini mampu mengidentifikasi empat area tubuh pribadi yang bersifat rahasia serta secara tegas membedakan antara sentuhan aman dan sentuhan tidak aman. Dampak langsung terlihat saat siswa mampu mempraktikkan respons protektif, seperti berteriak "tidak" dan segera melapor saat simulasi situasi mencurigakan dilakukan. Pendekatan ini terbukti efektif karena selaras dengan tahap perkembangan psikologis siswa yang mengutamakan penguatan norma sosial. Sebagai rekomendasi, pihak sekolah perlu mengintegrasikan materi batasan diri ini ke dalam kurikulum bimbingan konseling secara berkala dan memperkuat kolaborasi dengan orang tua untuk memastikan lingkungan perlindungan anak yang berkelanjutan. Socialization of Building Self-Boundaries in Public Elementary School Students  Minimal sexual education at the primary school level increases children's vulnerability to abuse. This service activity aims to provide self-boundaries education to SDN 1 Sengkerang students to minimize the risk of negative treatment. The method used is interactive socialization based on Sigmund Freud's psychosexual theory, which focuses on the latent phase (age 6–12 years) in which the child's psychic energy is diverted to social and moral development. The results of the activity show concrete changes in student understanding; They are now able to identify four confidential areas of the private body and clearly distinguish between safe touch and unsafe touch. The immediate impact is seen when students are able to practice protective responses, such as shouting "no" and immediately reporting when simulating a suspicious situation is carried out. This approach has proven to be effective because it is in line with the stages of students' psychological development that prioritizes strengthening social norms. As a recommendation, schools need to integrate this self-restraint material into the counseling guidance curriculum on a regular basis and strengthen collaboration with parents to ensure a sustainable child protection environment.
