Abstract

Prevention of Bullying Through the Support System of Private Elementary Schools. This study examines the relationship between bullying behavior and school support systems, including the application of Christian values, in private elementary schools. Using a mixed methods approach, data were collected from 334 respondents through questionnaires, interviews, and observations in three schools in Bogor and Jakarta. Quantitative results showed weak or non-significant correlations between bullying, support systems, and Christian values. However, qualitative findings revealed that structured support—such as counseling services, teacher involvement, anonymous reporting, and daily spiritual routines—plays a key role in creating a safe environment. The integration of values such as love, justice, and forgiveness through daily school activities strengthens students’ positive character. The study concludes that while measurable statistical impact may be limited, consistent implementation of character-building and faith-based programs contributes significantly to bullying prevention. Continuous monitoring and evaluation are recommended to sustain effective support systems.

Abstract

The Christian community still lacks adequate knowledge in terms of literacy and in filtering social media, making them easily influenced by hoaxes. The spread of information is also suspected to compromise Christian values and even foster an attitude of indifference toward divinity. This research employs a qualitative method by reviewing literature and scholarly works that discuss the role of Catechetics and the impact of Agnosticism in the Information Era. Agnostics are generally less interested in supernatural matters such as spiritual experiences and worship rituals, but rather prioritize personal needs and ideas that are logically acceptable. The Church faces increasing demands to deliver the message of God’s Word in a contextual and refreshing manner that addresses the needs and struggles of today’s believers. Catechetics, therefore, must play a vital role in providing learning that transforms one’s worldview into a Christ-centered perspective.

Abstract

The phenomenon of job-hugging has emerged increasingly in the modern workplace as a response to post-pandemic economic uncertainty. To date, however, it has predominantly been examined through economic and psychological frameworks. This study explores job hugging from a theological perspective by analyzing the relationship between faith and anxiety in the context of contemporary working life in Indonesia. This research employs a contextual, systematic, theological approach using a qualitative, reflective method grounded in a review of theological literature, the theology of work, and contemporary pastoral theology. The findings indicate that job-hugging does not merely reflect a survival strategy but also reveals a crisis of modern faith, namely, the displacement of ultimate security from divine providence to employment and worldly stability. Anxiety is understood both as a spiritual symptom of weakened faith and as a reflective space that may lead to a deepening of existential faith. The novelty of this study lies in its interpretation of job hugging as a theological phenomenon that manifests the dialectical dynamic between faith and anxiety, as well as in its formulation of pastoral implications that situate work as vocation within the framework of providentia Dei. This study affirms the contribution of systematic theology in enriching contemporary discourse on the modern world of work and in strengthening the pastoral accompaniment of believers.

Abstract

Dunia modern tidak hanya ditandai dengan kemajuan teknologi, tetapi juga disertai dengan fenomena baru, yaitu lahirnya anak-anak berkebutuhan khusus, yang dari beberapa penelitian menunjukkan peran obat-obatan dari teknologi modern saat ini. Wanita hamil seringkali secara tidak sengaja mengonsumsi obat-obatan tertentu yang termasuk dalam kategori D dan X, jelas ini dapat menyebabkan cacat pada bayi, dan penggunaan asam folat yang berlebihan dapat menyebabkan autisme pada bayi. Tidak dapat dipungkiri bahwa anak-anak berkebutuhan khusus merupakan beban bagi orang tua mereka, karena orang tua tidak memahami bagaimana cara merawat dan memelihara anak-anak tersebut. Permasalahan yang diteliti adalah bagaimana meningkatkan empati dan pemahaman para guru sekolah Minggu terhadap anak-anak berkebutuhan khusus ini. Dari penelitian tersebut, ditemukan bahwa dalam mendidik spiritualitas anak-anak berkebutuhan khusus, para pengajar (guru sekolah Minggu) harus terlebih dahulu dibekali pengetahuan tentang kebutuhan dasar dan psikologi anak-anak berkebutuhan khusus tersebut.

Abstract

Life in the Vuca era demands sensitivity to rapid changes, including sensitivity in social relations because friction and harsh competition in life make social problems increase. This kind of thing is very likely to be experienced also by church youth. Due to biological factors, at the age of youth, teenagers are very vulnerable to emotional outbursts that can result in the disruption of their relationships with others. Understanding the Word of God about self-control needs to be accompanied by proper education so that the results are maximized it is very important to have emotional education to improve social awareness skills obtained by managing emotions correctly, to minimize conflict in the face of instability in the Vuca era. No emotion is useless, but emotions need to be managed so as not to damage. Therefore, emotional psychoeducation is needed to help recognize emotions and manage them properly. Emotional psychoeducation using quizzes and real-life illustrations and techniques for managing emotions will be very useful in responding to spontaneous emotions to avoid destructive emotional outbursts, including damaging social relationships. Keywords: emotion psychoeducation; social awareness; vuca; church youthAbstrakKehidupan di era Vuca menuntut kepekaan terhadap perubahan yang cepat, termasuk juga kepekaan dalam relasi sosial karena gesekan dan persaingan hidup yang keras membuat masalah sosial meningkat. Hal seperti ini sangat mungkin dapat dialami juga oleh pemuda remaja gereja. Karena faktor biologis, di usia pemuda remaja sangat rentan meledak secara emosi yang dapat mengakibatkan terganggunya relasi dirinya dengan orang lain. Pemahaman Firman Tuhan tentang penguasaan diri, perlu dibarengi dengan pendidikan yang tepat, agar hasilnya maksimal sehingga penting sekali pendidikan emosi untuk meningkatkan kemampuan social awareness yang didapat dengan pengelolaan emosi yang benar, sehingga dapat meminimalkan konflik dalam menghadapi ketidastabilan di era Vuca. Tidak ada emosi yang tidak berguna, tetapi emosi perlu dikelola agar tidak merusak. Sebab itu diperlukan psikoedukasi emosi yang bermanfaat membantu mengenali emosi serta dapat mengelolanya dengan baik. Psikoedukasi emosi dengan menggunakan kuis serta ilustrasi nyata dan teknik mengelola emosi akan sangat berguna dalam respon emosi spontan sehingga dapat menghidarkan diri dari ledakan emosi yang merusak, termasuk merusak relasi sosial.Kata Kunci: Psikoedukasi Emosi; Kepekaan Sosial; Vuca; Pemuda Remaja Gereja

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan merumuskan strategi pastoral untuk menumbuhkan doa dan puasa sebagai gaya hidup pelayan Tuhan di Gereja Bahtera Indonesia. Latar belakang penelitian adalah rendahnya partisipasi pelayan dalam doa dan puasa bulanan meskipun aktif dalam pelayanan Minggu. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode studi kasus melalui wawancara dengan gembala dan pelayan, observasi, serta telaah dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tiga hambatan utama, yaitu anggapan doa dan puasa sebagai aktivitas opsional, kesibukan pribadi, dan kurangnya pembinaan rohani yang sistematis. Partisipasi meningkat ketika disiplin ini dipahami sebagai bagian integral dari pelayanan. Empat strategi utama yang ditemukan adalah mentoring rohani, pembinaan kelompok kecil, integrasi dalam liturgi, dan keteladanan pemimpin. Penelitian ini menawarkan model pastoral kontekstual yang mengintegrasikan formasi spiritual, motivasi, dan komunitas sebagai kontribusi bagi teologi pastoral dan praktik gereja lokal.
