Abstract

STIBA Makassar Real Work Lecture (KKN) Batch VII in Toddopulia Village, Tanralili District, Maros Regency is a real implementation of one of the pillars of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, namely community service. This research aims to optimize community religious development through various activities designed based on local needs. This research examines the effectiveness of implementing the KKN program in improving the religious and social quality of society. The implementation method begins with mapping community needs using the SOAR Analysis (Strengths, Opportunities, Aspirations, Results) approach, which provides a comprehensive picture of potential, opportunities, aspirations and expected results. Based on this analysis, a relevant work program was prepared, including activities such as Tahsin and Dirosa Teaching programs, Friday Sermons, Imam and Tarwih Lectures, Kindergarten/TPA Teaching, Organizing Funeral Services, Teaching in schools and the Sholeh Children's Festival. The results of this research show success in achieving the main goal of KKN, namely making a significant contribution to religious formation and community empowerment and also strengthening social interactions between students and local residents. The successful implementation of this KKN is proof of the effectiveness of a local needs-based approach in creating a sustainable positive impact.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and understand the validity of the use of water mixed with antiseptic from the perspective of taharah fiqh according to the views of the Hanafi and Syafii schools. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research type (non-statistical) using the library research method (literature review) which focuses on the study of manuscripts and texts, using the descriptive method of comparative study analysis. The results of this study indicate that there are differences in views between the Hanafi and Syafii schools on the validity of the use of water mixed with antiseptic for taharah. First, the Hanafi school views water mixed with antiseptic liquid as holy and purifying. While the Syafii school views water mixed with antiseptic liquid as holy but not purifying. Second, the Hanafi school of thought and the Syafii school of thought differ regarding changes in the nature of water to the standard of whether the water is still purifying or not. In the view of the Hanafi school of thought, changing one of the properties of water does not eliminate the standard of purification, whereas in the Syafii school of thought changing one of the properties is enough to make the water lose its standard of purification. Third, both schools of thought agree that if a sacred object and water are mixed and the sacred object becomes dominant then the standard for purifying it will disappear. The arguments used by the two schools of thought all come from the Al-Qur'an and Sunnah and the opinions of the ulama, but the cause of differences of opinion is the interpretation and understanding of these arguments.

Abstract

This study aims to find out and understand the rules of sharia in pawning according to the four major schools of thought, namely Hanafiyah, Malikiyah, Syafiiyyah and Hanabilah, which are then compared between the evidence of each school of thought and the just munaqasyah regarding the hadith of Abu Hurairah, as well as the law on the use of pawning livestock both in terms of riding it and also drinking its milk. This study uses a descriptive analytical research type (non-statistical), which focuses on the study of manuscripts and texts, and uses a normative, historical legal approach method. The results of the study were as follows; First, Pawning is a process of borrowing and lending interaction by making certain goods as collateral for the creditor's debt which is held and controlled by the debtor, until the debt is paid off on time. The pillars of pawning include Rahin, Murtahin, Marhun/rahn, Marhun bih. Meanwhile, there are four conditions for pawning, namely the goods must be able to be traded, must be valuable property, Marhun must be able to be utilized according to sharia, its physical condition must be known, must be owned by the rahin (borrower or pawnbroker). Second, in the utilization of pawned property, if it is done by the rahin, the majority of scholars allow the rahin to utilize the pawned goods as long as they get permission from the murtahin. In addition, the rahin must guarantee that the goods are safe and intact. As for if the utilization of pawned property is done by the murtahin, the majority of scholars do not allow the murtahin to utilize the pawned goods absolutely, because the goods are not fully his property. The murtahin's right to the goods is only as collateral for the debt he gave, and if the person who owes is unable to pay off his debt, then he may sell or value the goods to pay off his debt.

Abstract

Keterampilan berbahasa Arab merupakan suatu hal yang wajib dikuasai oleh mahasiswa di program persiapan bahasa Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Islam dan Bahasa Arab (STIBA) Makassar. Salah satu keterampilan yang patut dikuasai adalah keterampilan menyimak, sehingga peran pengajar sangat penting dalam mengembangkan strategi pembelajaran yang efektif dan efisien dalam menunjang pencapaian kompetensi mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi pembelajaran keterampilan menyimak bahasa Arab. Metode penelitian menggunakan field research dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Adapun hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa:  Pertama, prosedur pembelajaran yang dilakukan di program ini menggunakan metode Herbert (ekspository) perpaduan dengan metode al-sam’iyyah al-syafawiyyah (aural-oral) dan analisis masalah (tahlil-al-musykilah). Metode yang digunakan adalah metode al-mubasyarah (direct method), al-sam’iyyah al-syafawiyyah (aural-oral) dan al-ittisaliyyah al-tawas}uliyyah (komunikatif); Kedua, Teknik-teknik pembelajaran yang dipakai ada dua, yaitu teknik penyajian materi  (teknik qira’ah al-nas}, syarh al-nass, al-istintaj, dan al-isti’ab) yang memfokuskan pada pembelajaran induktif (khusus ke umum) dengan menjadikan teks bacaan/dialog sebagai pusat pembelajaran bahasa dan latihan-latihan; dan teknik penyajian latihan menggunakan tiga teknik, yaitu tadribat al-anmat, al-dalaliyyah dan al-ittisaliyyah (ta’bir syafawiy dan muhadasah); Ketiga, Strategi evaluasi pembelajaran di Program ini ada tiga jenis evaluasi, yaitu evaluasi formatif test dilakukan pada saat berlangsungnya pembelajaran di kelas melalui latihan-latihan, sub sumatif dan sumatif test diberikan di tengah dan akhir semester. Jenis instrument penilaian adalah instrument tes berupa tes lisan, yaitu ta’bir syafawiy atau muhadasah dan tes tulisan, yaitu tes essay dan tes objektif. Kriteria penilaian berupa kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menyimak dan berbicara dengan kosa kata/kalimat-kalimat yang popular dan sederhana, serta dapat membaca dan menulis kalimat yang standar.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the wihdah theory (integrated theory) regarding teaching techniques for nahwu rules, namely nahwu rules, which are taught by paying attention to the teaching of four Arabic language skills and language elements in one meeting. This research also aims to present an integrated and comprehensive analysis of the teaching of the Nahwu rules. This type of research is qualitative descriptive research using library methods. The results of the research show that there are six techniques for teaching Nahwu rules based on integrated theory, namely combining the teaching of Nahwu rules, four language skills, and language elements in one meeting. These techniques are techniques for presenting the text, then understanding the text, reading jahriyah, discussing problems, drawing conclusions, and linguistic exercises.

Abstract

This research aims to teach Arabic to help the residents of Gubernuran Manggala Makassar understand the meanings of prayer recitations. The problem addressed is the residents' current level of understanding regarding prayer recitations and its solution through Arabic language training. This qualitative research uses interviews and participatory observation, beginning with an observation of the residents' conditions and an analysis using the SOAR framework, which led to the development of a work plan and activities. The training was conducted over two months, including a pre-test, the training itself, and a post-test. Before the training, most participants were unaware of the meanings of prayer recitations, while a small number had limited understanding. After the training, participants were able to understand the meanings of the prayer recitations. Post-test results showed that participants achieved satisfactory scores, ranging from 60 to 100. The participants also felt a significant improvement in their prayers. The study recommends that such training programs be continued in other locations, especially around Manggala, in collaboration with religious institutions and with government support.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the concept of mafʿūl bih (direct object) in Arabic and Indonesian, focusing on similarities and differences between the two languages and describing their respective usage methods. It also seeks to contribute to addressing the difficulties and errors faced by Indonesian-speaking learners of Arabic, especially in understanding and applying the concept of mafʿūl bih. The study is limited to comparing formal Arabic (fuṣḥā) and standard Indonesian in terms of the mafʿūl bih, using a descriptive-analytical-comparative method. The analysis involves three main steps: first, a linguistic description of mafʿūl bih in both languages; second, identification of similarities and differences; and third, prediction of potential learning difficulties arising from those differences. Key findings include: both languages share common features, such as mafʿūl bih being an additional element in the sentence and its ability to occur more than once and typically at the end. However, differences include Arabic allowing up to three direct objects for some verbs, while Indonesian generally limits this to two. Furthermore, mafʿūl bih in Arabic is identified by grammatical case markings (ʿirāb), whereas in Indonesian, it is identified by sentence position. Arabic also allows three structural variations of mafʿūl bih, while Indonesian generally maintains a fixed structure. These differences represent major obstacles for Indonesian-speaking learners of Arabic.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the linguistic exercises employed in the teaching of applied Arabic as presented in Durūs al-Lughah li Ghair al-Nāṭiqīna bihā, Volume I. The research adopts a qualitative descriptive design using a library-based approach through content analysis of the textbook. The findings reveal that the linguistic exercises in the teaching of applied Arabic in this textbook demonstrate pedagogical excellence through the systematic presentation of three types of varied language drills, all conducted in fuṣḥā (standard Arabic) without translation. These include: (1) pattern drills, which train learners to internalize language use through continuous and repetitive practice with diverse exercise models; (2) semi-pattern drills, which develop learners’ ability to comprehend sentences and apply them effectively in both spoken and written expression; and (3) communicative drills, which cultivate learners’ communicative competence in both monologic and dialogic contexts.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the legal implications of divorce due to the influence of magic on marital status and how to prove it. The research method used is library research by collecting and analyzing data from various literature. The phenomenon of divorce due to the influence of magic is explained in the Quran, hadiths, and opinions of scholars. The results show that if a husband divorces his wife while under the influence of magic which causes him to lose consciousness and sanity, then the divorce is invalid. However, if the magic only prevents him from doing something else, and he is aware when issuing the divorce, then the divorce is legal. To prove whether a husband's sanity is impaired due to magic, the husband must provide evidence that he has symptoms of being affected by magic which causes him to lose sanity. If the wife suspects her husband divorced her while insane due to magic, the burden of proof is on the wife to prove the husband has symptoms of magic which causes him to lose sanity and divorce her unconsciously. In conclusion, a divorce due to uncontrolled magical influence is invalid, while one done consciously is legal. The burden of proof lies with the husband or wife, depending on who claims insanity due to magic.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the status of impurity of pigs and wild animals and the mechanism of their purification from the perspective of the Malikī school and the Shafi'ī school of thought. This research is a type of library research, namely research carried out by collecting data from books or literature from previous research. This research was carried out by collecting data from searches or other writings, both from primary data sources and secondary data sources, as well as other literature related to the impurity of pigs and wild animals and their purification mechanisms. The results of the research found are as follows: first, the Malikī school and the Shafi'ī school of thought differ regarding the impurity of pigs and wild animals. The Malikī School says that pigs and wild animals are pure animals when they are alive, but when they are dead they are still considered unclean, the Shafi'ī School says that pigs and wild animals are unclean animals whether they are alive or dead. Second, the Malikī school and the Shafi'ī school of thought differ regarding the mechanism for purifying pigs and wild animals. The Malikī School says that the mechanism for cleansing pigs and wild animals is to use water without requiring the number of splashes and the use of soil or dust, the Syafi'ī School says that the mechanism for cleansing pigs and wild animals is that they must be washed seven times, one of which is using soil or dust. It is hoped that the implications of this research will be useful information for the general public, especially in understanding the impurity status of pigs and wild animals and their purification mechanisms from the perspective of the Malikī and Shafi'ī schools of thought. This information is important to increase public understanding of fiqh rules related to cleanliness and purity in Islam.
