Abstract

This study intended to find out of the image of stress and coping strategies used to deal with stress in individuals who lives in noise and crowded environment in Jakarta. The hypothesis proposed in this study is that there is a positive relationship between the stress experienced by the individual so they have to perform various types of coping stress on noise and crowded environment. This research uses quantitative method with 30 participants, and qualitative method with 2 participants. The data retrieval procedure is performed using quantitative techniques by spreading the questionnaire ways of coping to some people who have similar criteria, and qualitative with interviews and observations to each subject. Based on the results of research, each subject claimed to experience stress due to live in noise and crowded environment, and it makes them do coping strategies for them to get used to such environment. Coping strategy used is emotion focused coping.

Abstract

Penjaminan mutu program eksperimen fisika dasar perlu dilakukan agar dapat membekali kemampuan calon guru sains. Upaya yang dilakukan dengan mengevaluasi program eksperimen fisika dasar. Agar setiap tahapannya dapat di evaluasi secara rinci, digunakan metode evaluasi CIPP (Context, Input, Process, dan Product). Responden yang terlibat dalam kegiatan evaluasi program ini yaitu dosen pengampu mata kuliah fisika dasar, kepala laboratorium, laboran, dan mahasiswa calon guru sains. Mahasiswa yang terlibat sebanyak 129 orang yang berasal dari program studi pendidikan fisika, pendidikan kimia, dan pendidikan biologi, Universitas Palangka Raya. Untuk memperoleh data penelitian digunakan instrument berupa lembar wawacnara, angket, serta dokumen yang dibutuhkan seperti Rencana Pembelajaran Semester (RPS), buku panduan eksperimen, dan laporan eksperimen. Data angket yang digunakan menggunakan skala likert 5 poin sehingga perlu di konversi menjadi nilai kategori. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi pada setiap tahapannya, secara keseluruhan semua tahapan sudah terlaksana dengan baik. Rekomendasi yang diberikan bagi program evaluasi eksperimen fisika dasar yaitu, perlunya disediakan SOP perawatan alat, kegiatan seminar fisika sebagai luaran hasil praktikum perlu dipertahankan, perlunya instrument evaluasi yang baku untuk pengukuran capaian pembelajaran praktikum.

Abstract

Mathematical knowledge and computational thinking train students' ability to reason, and this is needed to be able to compete in the digital era in the future. This study aims to construct a mathematical cognitive test instrument using the computational thinking (CT) model that meets the validity, reliability, and good item criteria and provides new insights into how to apply computational thinking in Islamic education (madrasah). This research includes development research consisting of design and implementation stages with a sample of 160 madrasah aliyah students in the Sleman district. Instrument validity was conducted by proving content validity. Reliability was estimated using the separation reliability coefficient, and the quality of the instrument was analyzed using the Rasch model. The instrument was declared reliable (separation reliability coefficient of 0.8059), classified as a good fit for the model, with a p-value of 0.64 > 0.05), and effective in measuring mathematics skills with a percentage of 99.85%. The instrument developed opens the insight that the subject matter in madrasah can be integrated with computational thinking skills and can be used as an alternative for diagnostic, formative, and summative tests.

Abstract

Sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas dilihat dari kemampuan keaksaraanya. Pemahaman ilmu pengetahuan di sekolah maupun di lingkungan memerlukan kemampuan keaksaraan. Saat ini, angka buta aksara yang tinggi sehingga perlu upaya seluruh lapisan masyarakat untuk memberantasnya. Demikian sehingga, tujuan kegiatan ini untuk menumbuhkan minat belajar khususnya membaca, menulis dan menghitung anak usia sekolah yang berada di Kampung Jati-jati, Rt 003 /Rw 001, Kelurahan Rimba Jaya, Kabupaten Merauke – Papua. Kegiatan pengabdian dikategorikan kedalam 4 (empat) kegiatan utama yakni, observasi lokasi pengabdian, penyerahan alat tulis untuk kegiatan taman calistung, pendampingan kegiatan taman calistung, serta monitoring dan evaluasi keberlanjutan kegiatan taman calistung. Hasil kegiatan yang diperoleh terdapar peningkatan minat peserta belajar untuk mengikuti program taman calistung. Peserta belajar yang awalnya berjumlah 38 orang bertambah menjadi 78 orang di akhir kegiatan. Dengan demikian, disimpulkan bahwa, minat belajar khususnya membaca, menulis dan menghitung anak usia sekolah yang berada di Kampung Jati-jati, Rt 003 /Rw 001, Kelurahan Rimba Jaya semakin meningkat dibuktikan dengan jumlah anak-anak yang mengikuti kegiatan semakin bertambah, dan juga hasil belajar yang semakin baik.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an instrument for teachers’ perceptions of differentiated instruction by adopting Oriondo and Antonio's instrument development model. This study involves three stages of development: instrument planning, pilot testing, and measurement. The respondents involved were 152 subject teachers at the secondary school level. The instrument developed contains differentiated instruction principles: learning environment, quality curriculum, responsive teaching, continuous assessment, and leadership and routines. A combination of the Guttman Scale and Item Response Theory was used to measure teachers' perceptions, which gave significant results. The analysis results show that most instrument items follow the model used, but some items require adjustment. The implication of this study is the importance of developing valid and reliable instruments to measure teachers' perceptions of differentiated instruction. The findings can contribute to improving classroom learning practices and student learning outcomes. Thus, this study provides a strong foundation for the development of teacher professionalism and the overall improvement of education quality.
