Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Electronic Word of Mouth (E-WOM), brand image, and product quality on purchasing decisions of MS Glow products in Batam. In the digital era, E-WOM is a key factor influencing consumer decision-making. Additionally, a strong brand image and guaranteed product quality play a significant role in driving purchasing decisions. A quantitative approach was used with a sample of 100 MS Glow consumers in Batam, selected using Slovin's formula, and data were collected through questionnaires. The analysis was conducted using multiple regression with SPSS 25. The results show that E-WOM (regression coefficient 0.582, t-value 12.544, p < 0.05), brand image (regression coefficient 0.626, t-value 12.214, p < 0.05), and product quality (regression coefficient 0.315, t-value 7.268, p < 0.05) have a significant positive effect on purchasing decisions. These findings suggest enhancing brand image, leveraging E-WOM, and maintaining product quality to boost purchasing decisions

Abstract

Technological developments affecting business services. Along with the technological developments that are taking place, there has also been a change in generational growth, namely Generation Y (Millennials). Generation Y (millennials) are familiar with the use of technology, especially on online shopping platforms (e-commerce), and they have different lifestyles and character traits. The convenience offered by one of the e-commerce TikTok shops causes users to make spontaneous purchases. This study aims to determine the effect of hedonic shopping motivation and shopping lifestyle on impulse buying among Gen Y in TikTok Shop in Batam City. The research uses Google Forms as a questionnaire to obtain primary data. The partial research results on the hedonic shopping motivation variable obtained a t-value of 2.354> t table 1.661 and a significant value of 0.021 <0.05. The shopping lifestyle variable received a t-value of 3.199> t table 1.661 and a substantial value of 0.002 <0.05. At the same time, f-count 33.184> f-table 3.09 and a substantial value of 0.000 <0.05. It can be concluded that hedonic shopping motivation and lifestyle positively and significantly affect impulse buying.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh masih-masih variabel yaitu Word of Mouth, sertifikasi halal, dan variasi produk terhadap minat beli ulang. Berdasarkan penelitian sebelumya dan dikaitkan dengan teori pendukung yang dikemukakan oleh para ahli dan menggunakan program SPSS 25 sebagai alat pengolah data statistik. Jenis penelitian ini kuantitatif yang memiliki sampel sebanyak 100 responden. Peneliti menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner serta menggunakan skala likert. Ada beberapa teknik menganalisa data yang digunakan yaitu antara lain seperti analisis statistik deskriptif, uji kualitas data, uji asumsi klasik, uji pengaruh dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan Word of mouth berpengaruh positf terhadap minat beli ulang produk Mixue Batam, Sertifikasi halal berpengaruh positif terhadap minat beli ulang Produk Mixue Batam, dan Variasi produk berpengaruh positif terhadap minat beli ulang Produk Mixue Batam.

Abstract

This research study was conducted to evaluate the extent to which consumer personality, product quality, and product appearance influence the purchase decision of Honda PCX in Batam City. The research applies quantitative methods, utilizing 204 samples by applying Jacob's formula with purposive sampling techniques and the criteria that people have bought or owned a Honda PCX. Collection techniques through distributing questionnaires. Research checks using SPSS 26 include descriptive statistical tests, data quality tests, classical assumption tests, influence tests and hypothesis testing. The test results using multiple linear regression analysis state that consumer personality gets 9.1% associated with purchasing decisions. Product quality gets 36.5% associated with purchasing decisions. Product display gets a value of 15.8 associated with purchasing decisions. This shows the results of the variables of consumer personality, product quality, and product appearance simultaneously and importantly on purchasing decisions, by looking at R² 0.526, so that three of the variables listed obtained results 52.6% varied in relation to purchasing decisions. Referring to the results of the t test and F test, it confirms that consumer personality, product quality, and product appearance have a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions for Honda PCX in Batam City.

Abstract

This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 4 Batam. This research is based on the students' writing skills that have not been fully trained in writing activities. Even students have limitations in using the right diction. This is because students have less interest in reading so that their absorption in using diction does not support writing activities. Students in doing assignments or exercises to hone their abilities only rely on student worksheets known as LKS. Writing scientific papers that require seriousness and brilliant ideas can apply the cooperative learning model Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC). CIRC is right for improving students' skills in solving problem-solving questions. In the application of CIRC, teacher dominance in learning is reduced. Students are motivated to produce results carefully because they work in groups. Furthermore, students can understand and check each other's work and help weak students. As a result, the CIRC model enhances learning outcomes, particularly in addressing problem-solving tasks. This research employs a qualitative approach through classroom action research. The objective is to enhance the learning process and boost students’ performance in writing scientific papers by utilizing the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) strategy. The findings of the study can be summarized as follows: First, the improvement in diction usage when writing scientific papers by students of class XI-IS1 at SMA Negeri 4 Batam was effectively implemented in both Cycle I and Cycle II. Second, the integration of the CIRC model in teaching scientific writing significantly enhanced students’ writing abilities. This progress is reflected in the average scores across the cycles: 58.92 in the pre-cycle, 74.07 in Cycle I, and 83.28 in Cycle II.

Abstract

The purpose of this service is to form the basic movements of students’ karate at Dojo Az-zaitun khoiro. Basic movements are the beginning of the formation of a karate-ka, from these basic movements the form of kata played by a karateka is seen, after that it follows into the field of the committee. When the committee is also very influential, this will be seen when you want to hit your opponent. If the punch does not match the form trained during kihon then the punch has no value. Likewise, with the form of the stand, if the stand is not correct then the movement does not get a value when the assessment process is taken, this is interrelated with each other. The method of this service is the method of providing direct training at the Az-zaitun khoiro dojo. Where the devotee directly trains the students and then tests the movements. After the test is carried out, the results of the assessment can be obtained, after an evaluation is carried out by forming the kohai-kohai movements to be better. After the kihon movement is considered good, the devotee tries to apply one movement with another movement. After it looks perfect, the material begins to be improved.
